Toyota's downfall was the miscommunication by the internet department with the servicing dealership, they were unaware I had requested a rental for the day and unprepared. They were however able to accommodate me.

Lexus of Cerritos was not aware of the sams club auto buying discounts. Once I was at the dealership I was finally directed to the correct internet sales individual. No haggle pricing and no real upscale pressure. I was
purchasing a Rx 350.
The sales experience was actually very good and they were very helpful. I was presented a excellent offer and went for a test drive. I almost purchased the RX 350 on the spot.
The next day I made an appointment at Longo and purchased a slightly more expensive RX 350 for $1850 dollars less than Cerritos Lexus.
But I have to say Lexus of Cerritos was a overall very good car buying experience.
I usually don't like spending time writting reviews but this is exceptional. I'm very pleased with my recent purchase at Cerritos Toyota. With many experiences buying cars for myself and helping buying cars for relatives, Ray Boroumand is a nicest sale representative I ever dealt with. He didn't make us feel any pressure or hassle. We changed our mind the last minute on the car we wanted, Ray patiently showed us the inventory to give us a lot more choices even though it's almost closing time. We ended up pick out another car which we like it a lot more comparing to our first choice. We had a very great price on our car and Ray treated us very nicely and respectfully through out the whole process. I definitely recommend Ray to any potential buyers.
I m stuck between 3.5 or 4, so I have to round down. Appointments are nearly suggestions here. I believe I waited approximately 45 minutes after my appointment for someone to take my vehicle. The whole 45 minutes no one comes up to you or makes eye contact, I m guessing because they don t want to hear the complaints. Working in an environment where I deal with customers with wait times, I understand it s not always in our control. That being said perception and creating an expectation is everything. Let your customers know current wait time, have more staff helping and less just standing around. I know they may all not be trained in the same capacity but ensuring they are personable and inviting would go a long way.

We went in and test drove a car. Let Nicholas know something was wrong with it, it was very minor but nonetheless should have done something about it. He stated with it being a CPO vehicle it can be fixed. They then told us nope we can t finance you because you are from out of state. OK. Went on with our vacation.
Next day, get a call from our sales person saying they approved us with one interest rate. We said , great we will come down. We get there and start signing papers and they come back with a much higher interest rate.
Ok, payment is still ok so we ended up purchasing vehicle. Soon after driving it home (250 miles) we started to notice one thing after another. We were told there was a 100 point inspection done on the vehicle before we left. Whole dashboard does not work, can not change the climate temperature, can not change stations on the radio, door is still not working correctly, makes knocking noise when idling and steering shakes when driving.
When you buy a $30K car you shouldn t have to worry about any of this 3 weeks after you purchase the car. Have tried calling multiple times to address the concerns and every time I call, I get the run around and transferred to a voicemail.
Have filed a formal complaint and would love to give this car back to the dealership.

Ever since buying my car in 2016 I have always been very satisfied with my service and thank god every day that I had purchased the extended maintenance. They are great with keeping the car clean and even tell you when there are updates needed to be done.

I brought my car in on a recall for oil consumption (common problem with several Toyota engines) they told me I have to pay for an oil change first. Normally I'd NEVER bring my car to a dealer for a simple procedure, they charge WAY TOO MUCH.
However this was a unusual circumstance so I did it.
After charging me for the oil change service a couple days later I looked under my car to find that they DID NOT EVEN CHANGE THE OIL FILTER! That's a standard thing to do during and oil change.
They also stripped the oil pan drain plug and wanted me to pay $750 to replace it.
I bought one on line for $35 ...No thanx I'll do it myself!
After all kinds of attempts of negotiating a FAIR deal and outcome (for me).
It just proved unsuccessful. So IM SCREWED!!!

Excellent Service! Benji was great! He did a great job in providing information, options and a great deal. This is my second new car purchase from Autonation Cerritos and I'm convinced I got the best offer and the best service.
The sales person, Mike Gibson, said what he needed to say to get the sale, then bailed. My daughter needed a co-signer, however, she lives in LA, and I live in Chicago, so there were a few logistical hurdles to clear in advance. I sent all the requested financial and credit information in advance and Mike assured everything would be aligned with the finance manager so all my daughter needed to do was come in, test drive the car, and, if she liked it, drive off with it. I was assured everything was ready to go. However, when my daughter agreed to buy the car, she was bumped to finance, and they didn't know anything at all about the deal. The finance manager called me, with my daughter sitting in his office, and said he knew nothing about the deal and there were problems to work through. To make a long story short, the finance managers, Paul, and James are first class. They got it all straightened out, and minimized my hassle. I would recommend the dealership, but DO NOT use Mike Gibson (sales rep).
Leo was excellent in finding and configuring the 2019 RAV4 Hybrid to meet our needs.
So far so good with service. Everyone was helpful and efficient. Hopefully the rest of the service for my Tacoma continues to be the same. Will definitely continue all my service at Cerritos AutoNation.
I hate to go this place, these people are super rude any problems you tell them, they will say come back when it's happening and this is for new vehicle.

Be ready for this scam when buying a car from AutoNation Toyota Cerritos:
1) They ask for your zip code to estimate sales tax. For example, the sales tax where you live is 7.75%
2) Even though you've given them the zip code, the estimate you first are given has the sales tax at 9.5% (check it)
3) They KNOW they have a 1.25% spread between the estimate and the final contract.
4) You go back to meet with finance. Somehow a charge appears on your contract equal to the 1.25% (mine was for interior protection for $945, who buys that?). The sales tax is now correct at 7.75%. They are pretty good with the smoke and mirrors and fooled me. The final cost of your contract is close to their original estimate and they have gained 1.25 percent.
5) So they gave up at $60K car purchase to gain $945.
I'd take my business elsewhere.
I was paying cash, but if one was financing and the estimate to the final went increased $10 per month, you wouldn't notice. Shame on the sales department for allowing this to happen and the finance department hasn't heard the last of me.
The good folks at AutoNation Toyota of Cerritos were fantastic. It's probably the best vehicle buying experienced I've ever encountered. Omg, i never expected to buy a car so easily. I had a really really good time here with Sami and Shanae. Shanae was busy working with other customers, so Sami helped me find a very very cool red 2019 Prius. They made me feel very comfortable ( I had bad experience with other Toyota dealers, they are neither impatient or pushing me to make the purchase). I can feel Sami was trying his best to help me find the best value. He and Shanae are very very friendly, even though I have emailed Shanae for a long time like one month. You are planing to shop here, you d better have these 2 guys to help you. Sami wears a very cute and obvious red hat. I think Shanae is the only female dealer there. But, both of them are professional, impatient and trustful. I am very happy with this purchase.
I came in on March 29th worried and frustrated about my 2013 Toyota Tacoma. My check engine lights where on and Carlos immediately assisted me with lots of information and options to help resolve the issues. He assured he would look at all possibilities available to me to help get it resolved! Service representatives were great. However it makes it difficult to bring my car in for service at your location because your location is the only one that doesn't offer washing the car after it has been serviced. You may want to reconsider adding back the washing of the vehicles.

Being forced to purchase a replacement vehicle for my trusty Toyota Camry that had done its job for the last 15 years, I went into this already highly apprehensive. Initially looking at a pre-owned 2019 Corolla, by some quite unexpected variables that ultimately worked in my favor I was able to drive off in a new 2020. As a individual woman on her own, I expected to be muscle-armed by my sales team. That didn't happen, much to my surprise. Not only did the transaction go at a pace I was comfortable with, I had control over how the entire discussion went - from insisting that an initial test drive wasn't going to sell me the car to crunching the numbers resulting ultimately in my budgetary capability & satisfaction. Shoutout to Robbie C & James Y for making the entire experience more pleasurable than I would have dared believe going into it. You have a very happy Toyota customer for life!

On October 1 2018 I went here for a recall. I was told after an inspection that I would have to wait for parts and wait and wait and wait. I finally called AGAIN and was told that the parts were in. I made an appt and left my car for the work to be done. GUESS WHAT! NO WORK NEEDED TO BE DONE. I was strung along thinking my seat belts were going to fail any minute only to find out that they were fine as is. Meanwhile while my car was in the shop I got a cold call to buy a new car!!!
I went through 4 MONTHS waiting and many phone calls. I will never return to this dealer!
When I called for an appointment for routine service under ToyotaCare, they were able to get me a same day appointment. Tiffany, my service advisor was friendly and courteous and she came to look for me in the waiting area when my vehicle was ready. They kept to their time estimate of 1 1/2 to 2 hours to complete the service. The waiting area is large with plenty of comfortable seats, 2 tv's to watch and a snack bar with reasonable prices.
I hate buying cars. I hate the whole process. Cerritos Toyota has a nice model where cars are under MSRP and there's no haggling (at least that's what they told me). Regardless, I thought the process was way better than other dealerships. Our salesperson Sean was really cool and nice and wasn't mad about staying 2 hours past closing to help finish out our deal.
Service was great, the service people saw me waiting on line and notice I was there for a while, I didn't have and appointment for my Prius recall and immediately approached me apologize for the delay. They promise me they will help soon and they did. They help me and I got a ride home and I got a call when the car was ready.

I had a horrible experience earlier in the year purchasing a car at another dealership. Not only did I spend 6 hours at the dealership but I left angry with my new car. That's not how you should experience your new car purchase.
Tldr; best prices, best service, best dealership.
Service was good. The service advisor set the expectations of how long it would take for my vehicle to be finished. I didn't feel rushed or pressured. Good service. Only thing I would say is that it would be nice to know what future services I might need or recommended so that I can keep my vehicle running smoothly and functional for future driving .
I have a 2004 Toyota forerunner, and I needed to take it in for a 12 point inspection, safety check, because I was taking a road trip. During that time, my car was diagnosed with several safety/maintenance issues that I would need to take care of sooner, rather than later.
When I was informed of the result of the inspection, the price tag was a little over $800, just to get three of the five items taken care of that day. My service advisor was Gina Dale, and she was very friendly, personable, and interested in providing me with excellent customer service. I spoke to her regarding the amount of the work that needed to be done, and asked her if they had any coupons or specials going that would decrease the total amount due. She talked with me about that, and said that she would see what she could do. When she returned, she d given me a great discount. In addition, she thought the work would not be completed until the next day, and offered a loaner.
In conclusion, although I did not expect these issues with my car, I realized that this work needed to be done. Additionally, Miss Dale was thoughtful enough to offer me a loaner, for my convenience. She was also instrumental in giving me a price that worked within my budget. My car is running well, and I can rest assured that those safety issues were addressed competently. I would return to AutoNation Cerritos and Miss Gina Dale, as my Service Representative, because I was treated very well.

My initial interaction with AutoNation Toyota was online. I inquired about a vehicle and was almost immediately contacted by a sales person. The sales person that I spoke to was very polite, knowledgeable and not pushy or aggressive. I live about 120 miles from the dealership and didn t want to lose this vehicle. The salesperson had me fill out some quick paperwork online and held the vehicle for me until I could get to the dealership two days later. When I arrived at the dealership all of my documents were prepared and all I needed to do was sign them and wait for the vehicle to be detailed. I was there less time than it took me to drive down there. I would definitely recommend doing business with them. They have a huge lot with a large variety of very nice vehicles.
Cerritos Auto Nation Toyota continues to exceeds my expectations for their amazing and caring staff! I made my second vehicle purchase at this location and I have nothing bad to say about the experience. David Grey in sales and Daisy in Finance made my recent purchase STRESS FREE and easy. They went above and beyond to assist me with the process and kept it real the entire time and explained/answered all of my questions in detail. I don't think I'd feel comfortable going elsewhere with my car because of the friendly and trusting relationship this team has established with me. I needed to order parts from their parts department. Four times they have ordered the incorrect parts. One part was a tonneau cover striker, they handed me an O-ring and said that was the part. They charged me for parts that I did not receive although the invoice claimed that I had. For the price you pay at the dealer everything should be flawless and seamless. But not here!
I've always been told that buying a car at a dealership is a long and tedious process but at Cerritos it was quick and easy. I spent a total of 3 hours purchasing my car and in reality that's an hour more than it could have taken because I couldn't make a decision between colors. Even when there was down time, waiting for the financial representative (no more than 15 minutes), Cerritos had a cafe with complementary coffee available to pass the time. This was my first car buying experience and it was a great one.

Bad point ..... On the estimate form, an oil change was supposed to be done. We brought it up to the person who originally helped us and he looked at the estimate form comparing it to the statement of work that was done and said, "oh, don't know what happened." He had a glazed looked on his face like Spicoli on Fast Times At Ridgemont High. I just took both papers back and walked off.
Great place. Found the car I wanted online. applied for financing online and worked with Victor Salazar-Pereira who made it so much easier. Scheduled a test drive and when we got back went into financing and drove out in my new car all within an hour. Will highly recommend to family and friends
This was my first purchase here at Toyota. My dad bought his Corolla 17 with Felix last year and this year I went to buy my own car. I am very happy with Felix s help and everyone else. Employees are great and helpful. Mahir at finances was helpful as well. Although there was a minor mistake they gave me a wrong car they fixed it, but I had to wait an entire week from Sunday when I bought it to get this fixed, that s why Im giving a 4 star rating. Overall, they compensated me with a voucher to buy something at parts and everything was good after that. My sister plans to go back and buy another car next year, Felix is very helpful and understanding on customers wants.

Dropped in to see for myself a vehicle posted on their website with only two exterior pictures. Once I was approached I showed the salesperson the picture (with stock#) of the vehicle I was there to "see", to which he replied, "so are you here to 'see' the vehicle OR what are we doing here?" Um, NOTHING now!

Just a bad experience all over. We arrived there and we were assigned a different salesman than the one we had spoken initially to (ok). Then, the manager quoted us a price different than the one we had seen on the website. She then told us that the price on the website was a "mistake", when we could clearly see the same rebate on the Toyota (not only "autonation") website and also on the screen of the salesman who was working with us. They honored the website price "for the day", but they made it feel like we were stealing something. I wasn't able to unfreeze my credit (I have been a victim of identity theft before), and so I asked if I could come tomorrow and if they could still honor the price. The manager was jut not that empathic. That was basically the last straw for me. Not only the issue with the price, they also don't offer any loyalty program for previous customers of AutoNation, let alone Toyota. Or so they told us, because - once again - many Toyota dealers offer such programs or discounts. The negotiation was very impersonal and distant. I understand the need to do business and be "tough" in negotiations, but clients should not feel like the dealer is doing clients a favor by letting them buy a car. You don't need an MBA to recognize these are just poor sale skills.

I was told that my extended oil changes that I payed $600 for will end in 2021 or 55k miles ,when i got there the service adviser told me the only thing I have left is tiers rotation and I have to pay for my oil change ,I had only 3 oil changes on my extended service that I paid $600 , its a scam and if u buy a car from this dealer don't buy any extended warranty because they will get you somehow...would I go there again never, and I will make sure not to refer people to this place....
