Laura was very respectful and understanding of my financial situation currently. She did not hesitate to help and offer solutions thy would benefit the both of us.

Natalie was very professional and so helpful. She did everything in her powers to help me. She even made me feel at ease, even on my birthday. I am so nervous meeting with the judge today but with her help expediting the procedures I m somewhat feeling more comfortable.

Wilver & Associates sent us a mail on June 2016 to collect information about our home insurance so they could collect a subrogation payment for their client the Statute Farm Insurance. We returned them the informations they need.
A month later, they sent us another mail stating they need the same informations, and if we don't have the home insurance we have to pay them the $2930.35 we owe em. So we contacted our home insurance about the matter and responded they will take care of it.
One month passed, we received the same mail from Wilber & Associates.

What's wrong with you?
We have informed our neighbor about our insurance company when she was still living here.
I am very sure she talked to her insurer State Farm Insurance who was at fault of our damages! It was the fault of the HOA not doing its job to take care of our Roof, damaging both our and your clients unit!

Three times, in three consecutive months sending the same exact letter? We have sent you all the informations needed!
You know that. So why don't you do something about it? You are wasting alot of paper and is very annoying!

I understand why their rating is so low. The receptionist are rude and are not there to assist you.

Scam company. Call blocker blocked the ring thru, but representative left a voicemail for someone unknown to me, claiming they were representing State Farm. They said they were pursuing a suit against this random person for an auto accident. When I called back and explained that I'd received a call by mistake & wanted to let them know, the representative immediately cut me off with a curt "thanks," and disconnected. They didn't take any additional information like the name of the mystery person, or my telephone number. There's no way this is a law firm or a collections firm working on behalf of State Farm.

Great experience with Terrin...he helped me set up affordable payments to take care of my account. He was very professional.
As soon as the first payment was made every promise was delivered. Thank you Terrin.

I called their office today and it was about a claim that am mistakenly involved in, the agent that spoke to me was an extremely rude, unethical and aggressive person. I can't even imagine how people do business with such people.

You have to teach your agents how to be respectful.

Edit: after contacting the office today for the second time another agent replied and she was so polite and understanding, she handed my situation very politely although I thought she was the same person from my previous call.
My thanks to her and her attitude, but I still say that the other agent whom I knew her name Angie was completely the opposite of today and I still believe she has to learn a lot about how to speak with customers.

Nasty people. My fiance Called to settle an amount and I was yelled at in the background! I dont understand why. Dont provide receipts for any payment. Even cancel my fiance's license when he was making payments just because they wanted to update the contract on their end. If you have yo deal with these people I feel for you... they are soul suckers.

I have to say it took me talking to several different people to come to an agreement with this company. For one they don't care about what you have to say. If you don't hear them out they'll write down anything negative that they can. They really said I *have* to pay 300 a month (I said no you'll take what I can give because I do have a family) I only owe them a very small amount so they're extremely petty. This company is FULL of rude people.... good luck dealing with this ""company"" can't believe that they think it's okay to live their life working a job of lies.

I called to resolve an issue and was given the upmost disrespectful response from almost every associate at this firm, the reveal in making this a difficult process. The associate Gonzales was assigned to my case, this representative did not represent anything well from the company to herself. The rude, unsavory, unprofessionalism this associate displayed was the worst I've ever experience and been treated. Their was a lot of talking over me to prove her point then once she felt as though she could no longer assist me she ended the call abruptly. All the calls are recorded and this can be proven, easily.

The Worst Experience. I was reportedly in an accident that my insurance company denied. I have all of the documentation to prove that I was insured at the time the accident reportedly took place. The representative at Wilber told me that was my problem, I offered to provide the documentation so they could pursue it if they would like to, but I would not be paying for an accident that didn't happen, especially when I can back up the insurance side, that I was covered when this reportedly took place. The Representative told me again it was my problem and actually hung up on me!! Talk about unprofessional. take me to court and cost yourself more money, that's fine with me, I have all the documentation I need to protect myself. I cannot believe a law office would hang up on someone. this happened at 11:35 Mountain time on todays date

Laura was always very sweet, and handled my concerns with real genuine care. I don't know her last name, but this company needs more employees like her. Whoever answers the phone when I call to speak with Laura, is off the charts, straight up rude. She seriously needs an attitude adjustment. This company needs more employees like Laura who are compassionate about the people they're dealing with and will work them to help them abstain for legal trouble... thank you again Laura!

I received paperwork about one of my vehicles being in a crash months after the crash happened, not from Wilber but from the Ohio State BMV telling me that in less than 30 days my driver's license were going to be suspended due to not having insurance on the vehicle in the accident. Staff was very pleasant (Ashlynn) however upon speaking to Dawn (Manager) she was not as helpful or willing to work with me. Very disappointing experience and it is not resolved yet.

If I could give them no stars I would! This place is unethical and has negative moral standards of doing business. They prey on those who are less fortunate and dont care about conducting business that is reasonable for the people they harass. They are money hungry and set you up with payment plans that are impossible to maintain. I cant believe they can sleep at night knowing that they are ruining peoples lives. They are straight savage!! If they call you, its best to get a second opinion from a lawyer and some legal representation.

I spoke with Dawn Solis, she was so helpful, she took her time to listen to me and gave me solutions. I can thank her enough for assisting me. She did a much better than the previous lady called Lewanda who I felt was not helpful at alllllllllll.
So kudos to Dawn Solis for her incredible customer service.

ITS BEEN 12 BUSINESS DAYS AND NOTHING IN MAIL YET. SO IM ASKING CAN I SEEN A PREPAID POSTAGE BY FED X COULD THEY SEEN IT BACK OH NO SORRY CANT DO THAT EITHER . THEY ARE A JOKE WHAT KIND OF LAWYER FIRM HANGS UP ON YOU THEN BE RUDE " I DONT KNOW WHAT TOO TELL YOU. These people are the ridest i ve ever encountered. First they call me with a false claim on a car i had sold and released liability on over a year before the claim date. Then when i called to correct the problem i was met with nothing but rudeness and confrontation. After telling them i have the appropriate paperwork, they were still trying to get me to send them money saying that my clear release of liabilty form might not be enough to clear my name. Im sorry if you ever have to deal with this company

I had my first and last conversation with this company today. The woman I spoke with was unimaginably rude and inhumane. Every review you ve read on here is completely accurate and with that being said, I highly recommend not contacting this company more than once if you experience what I and 160 others did because they will not work with you, will harass and threaten you. It s in your very best interest to hire someone to represent you because these people aren t stupid, it s not a scam and they can hurt you legally and financially.

I also want to hand out some advice because I can see that a lot of victims of this company are low income.

*Know your State s and Federal laws*

-This company must supply proof of debt and you are not required to pay a cent until they ve done so.
-They are not allowed to harass you. If you tell them not to contact you personally again and they continue to do so, they are breaking federal debt collection laws (Business Law 101). You may be required to also send a letter depending on your state but a lawyer can write it accurately and they re affordable. If the company continues to contact you, the tables can be turned and they can be slapped with fines, audited and be taken to court.
-Finally, depending on your state, you can record the conversation and I suggest you do so because you ll regret it if you don t.

I m not sure what I want to do right now about the way I was treated and threatened. I feel like it s a moral obligation of mine to contribute to reporting their tactics but I also know BBB isn t the nail on the coffin and I will update this once this case is settled and give out the best form of reporting.

Honestly thanks to Hannah B. I want to say my experience with them is great. Very good accommodating was patient and explained every question I had. As well as the person that's working on my file Mercedes, very wonderful person couldn't get a hold of her but was still treated with great customer service.

On professional people they state that is not a temp for a debt collection. Claims that the office I called was a lawyers office but with the experience I have in collections they know minimal about limon laws that protect consumers and carnect acts as well hope I do see them at a small claims court and beat the case on that, mom and pops agency once I'm there I will be reporting to the better business bureau and hope they do something. just to help people like myself but other that been treated wrong. Hope everyone in that office that calls them self professionals can get the right training or fired because off how the approach customers hope your corporate company can be charged for missed conduct with the better business bureau or even closed down for how they treat the people. I'm 100% sure this is a scam company. If you are recently getting calls from them like myself, they may have gotten your information after Equifax was hacked! Please do not give anyone your identifying information or payment information over the phone. There is no way a Law office is calling people being this rude!

If I could I'll give them a ZERO!!!
1. The employees are sooooo RUDE and unprofessional!!!
2. They are even too STUPID to understand common knowledge!!!
3. Besides, they don't care about your privacy AT ALL!!!
4. I called them over three days (and over 10 times a day) for just one problem!!!
5. The only thing they're able to do is to CHARGE you, and NOTHING ELSE!!! Be careful with ALL the team members!!!!!

I'm not leaving a 5-star review because I was just so over the moon pumped to have had to pay the Wilber Group a ton of money. In fact, I'm still frustrated about it. However, what is remarkably important to mention is their customer service. Not everybody, but STEPHANIE in particular. Over the span of the last 3 months I've had to call the Wilber Group several times. Every time I did, I asked specifically for Stephanie (she wasn't always available, but I always walked away satisfied when I got to speak with her). Stephanie has an innate ability to to work compassionately with people, especially in very difficult and stressful situations. I'm a generally skeptical person, but I believed what I was told if Stephanie was the one who told it to me. She made me feel as though she ACTUALLY cared about my circumstances. She didn't simply give me everything I wanted all the time, but she was ALWAYS kind, and I always felt like she was doing the absolute best for me that she could. I've spent far more time on the phone with service representatives that I'd like to admit, Stephanie is without a doubt one of the best I've ever dealt with. I'm very very grateful that Stephanie is who originally contacted me from this organization. As a small business owner myself, she has what I look for in employees; great problem-solving, wonderful customer service, and demonstratble compassion. The Wilber Group is fortunate to employ her, and I truly hope both she and the company know how grateful I am to her. Wilber Company, 3 stars without Stephanie. Wilber Company WITH Stephanie? Easily a 4, verging on a 5. (I mean... I'm still paying money I wish I wasn't... but she made the pill go down much easier.) Thank You Stephanie!

Had questions regarding claim. Associate Shavontay was very professional and knowledgeable.

It s easy to assume debt collectors are all bad, but after getting into a situation where we were in debt, Working with Laura has made it very easy to rectify the situation. 100% recommend, very good customer service thanks to her.

I love that they are so willing to help during this Covid-19. I am 26 weeks pregnant and want to pay my debt but the money is tight and I am so thankful that each time I call they ve worked with me to make sure I stay on track and not lose my ability to keep things positive!

Look, nobody likes collection agencies, but they serve a useful purpose, and the world is full of cowardly and negligent people who don't man up to their debts and the occasional physical damage they sometimes do. Most of the 1-star ratings below are whines from these type of people. I love these comments like "I didn't know my insurance lapsed" Seriously? Grow up. I pay my taxes, make sure my insurance is up to date, don't get on the road unless all my licenses and tags are in order, and I DON'T CAUSE ACCIDENTS. If you don't live your life like this, the world will eventually sic agencies like this on you. Surprise! In my case, I was sitting at a dead stop at a red light, when an uninsured Russian driver who was texting drove right into the back of me without any braking action whatsoever. My insurance company was out $15,000, and I was out the $500 deductible. The uninsured driver promised everyone in sight he would pay at the scene, even gave hugs to everybody, then went off the grid and ducked all calls and mailings from my insurance company to try and recover costs for the next 8 weeks. After 8 weeks, my insurance company handed the case over to Wilber & Associates, and I wish these guys all the luck in the world. I hope they hound these people 24 hours a day, get the guy's license suspended, and use any other tool in their arsenal. Live your life responsibly, and crap like this won't happen to you. If they're calling you, then you DID SOMETHING WRONG. So, man up - and fix it!

I'm really not sure where to start with my experience with a Law Firm based out of IL when I am located in Arizona. It was sketchy and I kept getting phone calls. I started making payments to Wilber with an associate who defaulted me and I did not get another chance. Until I got a phone call from Attorney / Paralegal Trell (unsure last name) who was a pleasure to work with from the jump. I think we had over a total of 50 phone calls together getting this sorted out. He offered me many options, he saved me money and despite all the problems I had with my bank and my job not allowing me to take phone calls he worked with me. He made sure there was someone to contact me when he was out of office (I think her name was Tina) along with a couple other ladies who were helpful and not rude in the slightest. Trell worked through my bank issues with me, did not get frusterated with me, checked in on me on multiple occasions, worked with my work schedule, and ultimately got me all settled and even had my "Release" emailed to me same day. Why I'm really writing this is because today I decided I wanted a physical copy for my records. I called in today and he was ECSTACTIC to speak with me again when I was expecting him to be annoyed with me calling in again. He said he would get it to me no problem we chatted for a little bit and he mentioned that I could assist him here. Thank you so much for your help Trell. Even in a bad situation there are people to help you and guide you all the way. - Christyn P

Scam. I received a letter in the mail regarding a car accident claim on a date I never left the house. I wouldnt trust these people.

The person prior to me had the phone number they are looking for, rude NOT LISTENING TO ME! YOU HAVE THE WRONG PERSON AND PHONE NUMBER. I am now filing a report with the BBB, and attorney general office in Illinois. Perhaps then you will know YOU HAVE THE WRONG PERSON!

This is a real company and not a scam. I was extremely skeptical at first due to circumstances after my accident but I did my research on the company and it s legit. Patrick has been super chill with the process of paying everything off as well, he s a great agent. I ve been struggling financially due to COVID but they ve been nothing but helpful and understanding though my payment process.

RUDE. RUDE. RUDE. I called to ask a question about lowering my payments because I only work part time and HAVE OTHER THINGS TO PAY. They did not work with me and said that I have to figure something out. The lady then hung up on me and also had a very bad attitude.

If I could write a review with zero stars I absolutely would. When you call a business and they're so rude that they do the most childish thing a person can and hang up the phone on you and expect that you are going to continue any line of communication with them, you should never let your ego get in the way of your professionalism and the respect you should show an individual who called your office after receiving a letter.

Explained to the lady that I am pregnant and I lost my job and that I cannot afford to pay them right now until I find a job and she said in that case it is a refusal to pay and I was like but I am not refusing to pay I don't have a job and being pregnant makes it harder and she was like ma'am we can't look into your financial it your responsibility to get a payment to our offices and so I was like I totally admit and that I am doing all that I can and she was like well your getting you feeling into this and I was like ma'am u don't need to be rude I am trying to explain my situation. This is a scam!!!! If they are saying you owe them money, DO NOT PAY THEM!!!!! They are also not legally allowed to hold your license. If they do, you can get it back with the state. Don't deal with these scammers. All they want is your money and won't provide any reasonable documentation for it.

This is a huge SCAM and will try to threaten you into paying them for "accidents" that have never happened by threatening you in any way possible. Do NOT believe a word they say, all they will do is yell at you, argue and hang up before you can get a word in.

Very friendly when I spoke to them about settling with an insurance company. When the letter of settlement was never received, I had to call back and they were extremely rude. I guess the friendliness was just an act.

Mrs Laura is by far the best claims agent I have ever dealt with so will go above and beyond to help you and she is as nice as she can be

I want to thank Taren for his understanding and patience with me initially and during, working through the details of my case. It is very daunting to owe so much money that you can t seem to see past your situation, to an end. It s scary and frustrating but it seems that we can try and deal with this without lashing out through our emotions. Thank you Taren for your kindness through this very bleak moment in my life. I imagine your job is frustrating at times, but I appreciate you not letting it spill in to my phone calls with you.

Such rude customer service, the ladies are rude, they never send you your mail and then your licence gets suspended. An then they want you to pay $100 for something they never sent you in the first place and they have. I proof they sent you the first one. An if you ask them for proof they tell you no. This is a scam company!!

What this company fails to realize is that there are people out here that are actually innocent but they insist on calling and harassing them even though they do not have a case in any way shape or form. My insurance company told them they are not covering a claim from an accident because it was not my fault and they expect me to cover it which is not going to happen. These people are rude and uneducated and do not have a clue. We need to all get together and contact the Better Business Bureau about this company and its practices because there are laws in this country to protect US citizens from being harassed especially when it's innocent before proven guilty which in my case I am innocent and that has been proven.

was in a car accident on Nov. 2019. The girl wasn't even on the insurance policy the car wasn't even hers. It was her friends dad's car. She wasn't even from the state I'm from. They are nice enough to work out a payment plan with me, but I believe I shouldn't be even paying anything due to the fact she didn't own the car or was on the policy.

My experience with destiny was exemplary of good customer service. I m poor, and they were totally understanding and accommodating with setting me up on an absurdly low payment plan, without interest, which kept me from having to go hungry to make the payments. They never treated me with anything other than compassion and dignity, and I truly appreciate it.

I have never in my life felt so disrespected. The employees here lie and are rude as can be. I just delt with an agent screaming at me telling me to give her my checking and routing number repeadely. Im trying to set up a payment plan but they wont work with me without suspending my license.

Update:: Also call your DL branch. They will notify you of the suspenaeion and give you so long to take care of it!! I finally agreed to pay pricey down payment and then was told itd be another $50 to expidite to avoid suspension. LOL. Nope not doing that i just paid the settlement and washed my hands bc these people are unwilling to cooperate in anyway. Its been a week and ive asked for a receipt 3 times. Guess its good i made it online and screen shot the proof. Request documentation for everything because they are operating illegally!! Contact an attorney as well.

Update: response to Wilber. Dont bother. Management is a joke. I post poned a very needed surgery just in order to pay in full and be done because I dont trust a thing any of you say. I even asked one lady why she was being so ugly to me that I was just trying to figure all of this out and she told me she was a mom of 5 and had to have a firm voice with her kids so she wasnt walked all over. Then hung up on me!!!! Yall need shut down.

These people are terrible!!! Rude and unprofessional! One big call center and they don't know anything! Trying to sue us over something we weren't involved in and we have all the proof but still not good enough! Time to call my lawyer and have them figure it out

My account manager Merced s was wonderful! She was willing to listen and work with me. She made the experience easy and stress less. So thankful that I got to work with her.

It's easy to treat people like garbage when they owe you money. I'm happy to report that Laura of the Wilber group has given me nothing but respect, dignity and overwhelming support! It's difficult to get out of the trap of debt but it's made easier when people like her are working to help. It's a happy thought to know that there are good people ready to treat those of us in a bad situation fairly.

Woman I spoke too on the phone, laughed at the fact that I have never established credit, she asked me to take out a loan, or ask a family member or friend to loan me money, very rude. Sorry I have no support system, with no inheritance.

Our interaction with Desi DEZ I was absolutely polite and informative and I absolutely had no questions after she was done talking she completely fulfilled everything that I needed to know it was actually a good experience even though I was a little mad when I answered the call she actually helped me out good for her, She is going to be a valuable asset

I was at fault. They worked with me I make my payments, they uphold their end. Professional, not personal, which is as it should be. They have a job to do and they do it well

Dewayne/Dewan Brown left a message for me to call him about an accident that my car was involved in. The accident happened the nite of Feb 15th. I was admitted in the hospital the afternoon of Feb 15th & found out 2 weeks later that my car was in an accident. If this people think they're going to get money out of me, they're F**KING crazy. They can NOT suspend or have my License revoked.

OH! And do NOT let anyone ESPECIALLY a cop tell you that you HAVE to have a Driver's License to drive in the United States because you don't. Driving IS A RIGHT, NOT a privilege. The Constitution says that FREE people of the United States do NOT have to have a Driver's License to travel on ANY roadways in the United States. The ONLY ones that MUST obtain a Driver's License are people who Commerce for a Living. Meaning that if you have to drive to earn a living, (Taxi, Delivery Driver, Law Enforcement, Meter Maid, Gire Fighter, EMT, Truck Driver, etc.), then you MUST have a Driver's License. Supreme Court Justice Toleman stands behind the Constitution in this along with his 8 Supreme Court Brother's backing him on this. NO ONE can make you obtain a Driver's License if you do not Commerce for a living. It violates yiur Constitutional rights of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Google it. They passed this back before 2010.

They were very understanding. They broke down the alternatives and helped me understand my options. Shanika, one of your workers, she was very patient. She took her time with me and worked with me while I was at work.

Rude!... Honestly I don't even know what the call was about. They made me believe they just scammers at this point I don't even care to find out. They called me they didn't say my name right or spelled it right and didn't tell me my whole DOB neither but they wanted me to verify I told them I would not verify nothing I needed to know what was the call about first before verifying any of my information correctly for my safety and they said well then wrong person and hanged up.

These people are 100% a scam any money paid to them go to nothing you may owe I repeat DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE A SINGLE DIME you will b ripped off they find court records and then try to threaten people into paying them and the money does not go to anything you may actually owe it's a total scam they picked the wrong one with me trying to say my minor child owed for an insurance claim from a burglary a burglary he was found not guilty of and even if he was found guilty it does not work like that anything owed in claims if he had been guilty would be paid through the courts in restitution try and scam someone who don't know the law cause I ain't listening not to mention their so called address is only an hour and a half from me and I visited on a business trip there's no such company

Before I even finish talking the lady argues with me about my insurance, gets loud, insults me and when i asked to speak with her supervisor, she informed me that it's a law office and it doesn't work that way. I have never had the displeasure of dealing with a more ignorant, rude, narcissistic and delusional person. She needs to go back to school. Also, she refused to give me her name. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau.

Trying to collect on a car accident that our car while on ownership was never in. At the time of accident we had already traded that car in question in and had new car.

This law firm doesn't even deserve a star.
The people that work here are by far the most unprofessional people. They are rude and have the worst attitudes.
They dont do their due diligence when it comes to their cases and lie. When you call them out in their lie, they get very defensive and dont allow you to talk.

Got my second phone call this morning. From same lady (very rude, loud & talking over me) saying they want full amount $10,000 from a accident that I wasn't involved in but the car was registered to me or if I didnt they would suspend my license and registraion until amount paid in full. They wanted $5000 up front. I told her I'm low income and I dont have that kind of money. I can do $100 down and $50 a month. She sighed and said no that doesn't work so she is noting in my chart that I'm refusing to pay and they're putting a lien on my license and registration. Can they do this???

So anyways these guys want nearly 300k outta me because my apartment caught fire at the beginning of this year. I wasn't involved in the fire in any way and I wasn't even there when it happened! All I know is that they won't get a dime outta me.
