Very rude and disrespectful lady called about a claim. Tried to ask questions and did not want to answer. Said there was no payment plans available for me to work with to be able to pay the claim.

I worked with Kyle on this he was very pleasent, nice, and understanding he is a blessing to work with he made me understand what I needed to do explained every detail very well Wilber is lucky to have him working with clients to understand everything to a t Thank you Kyle your a very nice, understanding man.
My boyfriend has been dealing with these people for almost a few months now. THEY ARE RUDE FOUL MOUTHED PEOPLE. terrible customer service. They have suspended his license because we couldnt pay 1800 up front for a 7500 balance and told us the payments would be 450 a month. IF I CAN SAY ANYTHING- WAIT IT OUT. THEY WILL GO LOWER WHEN THEY SEE YOURE NOT PAYING THEM!!!!! Needless to say finally got an AFFORDABLE amount paid and now we are having problems with paper work. Terrible practice. These people have no souls.
Let the reviews speak for themselves! The several reviews that claim this company is "good and charitable" are obviously just trying to salvage a tainted reputation.
I received a bogus letter in the mail from this company saying I owed a debt of over $2,000. I called up the company and said verbatim," Yes ma'am, I received a letter from you guys in the mail stating I owe money and I'm not sure if it's a scam, or what?" Her stern response, "Ma'am, if you've received a letter from us, it is NOT a SCAM!!" Taken aback from her tone I responded "Uuumm...Okay...so what is this about?" She took my claim number and according to them I had stolen property from someone a few years ago and I had been arrested at the time for this criminal offense! Of course I laughed: I've never stolen anything in my life, nor have I ever been arrested! The operator seemed very frustrated with me after I said, "You've got the wrong person..." She kept repeating "You are ____, you live at ____, and your birthdate is ____?" I say "Yes, that's me, but this must be a case of stolen identity!" She then places me on hold without warning (rude) and comes back on the line a minute later and repeats the name of the defendant asking if I know him. I again tell her, no. Then she throws out another name. Again, someone I don't know. She then hangs up on me! No "thank you for your time..." or "I apologize for the confusion..." just an abrupt hangup!
Worried I might be a victim of identity theft, I immediately filed a complaint with the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) online. In response to above aforementioned complaint filed, Wilber & Associates stated: Our file is closed and her information has been removed from the claim. Still, no apology for their slanderous accusations!
In response to another review that gave this company 5 stars: People at (your) company may be "charitable people," but what good is that when you can't treat an innocent person with some respect? If this isn't a scam, this company deserves the boot.
This last year has been totally hectic for me. Going back and forth between law firms has been draining to my mind and spirit; that's until I encountered Mr. Deontavius. His ability to satisfyingly master the needs of both parties involved left everyone extremely pleased with the outcome. He followed up with me as he promised he would; thanks to his touch of professionalism I can move on with my own life's most important obligations. Thanks Deontavius!
If only I could give them zero stars...The don't even know the name of the client they are trying to collect for. I am not the person they are looking for but will not stop calling. I always answer or call back. Today when I told them I am disputing their claim they hung up on me. My next call is to the attorney general of IL.
These people are accusing me of a collision that's false they are defaming my name They want me to pay $10,000 for what a company mistake stupid people, they keep harassing me with threat calls and mail. I contacted DMV they said it's fraud because I dont have the car they are accusing me of under my name but some how these fools say otherwise!
Contrary to these reviews, the THREE different people I talked to were very professional and friendly, I spent less than 2 minutes on hold in total, and never got hung up on.
If the person you were talking to hung up on you or was rude, you need to look at how you spoke to them. Treat them with respect and they'll do the same for you.
I think they were absolutely wonderful. I'm going through some tough times financially right now and they was willing to work with me make it easier for me.. Justice was very understanding of what I was going through, she seems like a real awesome person and that's why I give them 5 stars
Ridiculous, rude, unprofessional, and yet I pray for them.... A representative called, baggering me about paying for an accident I was not in nor was my "current" vehicle.... It concerns me how they had my information.... I sure hope they find "who" they're looking for along with decent manners and professional etiquette....
I just received a message from this company today about an accident I was in in December. However when I call them back you can't get anyone on the phone at all!
I felt Miss Reynolds was rude and unprofessional to me. I was trying to help her with the information she needed for her to do her job of collecting a debt. She wouldn't listen to me and kept interrupting me. Finally she told me to get used to her voice because I was going to hear it a lot. Sounded threatening to me then she hung up on me! Has anyone else had an experience like this with Miss Reynolds? If so, please contact me.
If I could give 0 stars, I certainly would; too bad that's not an option. This company is so unbelievably rude. Apparently, they took over a company that I had a claim with from 2011 (my car insurance had lapsed unknowingly and I got into an accident; since I couldn't pay the balance due, it was passed over to debt collectors, Wilber Lane Law Firm, who I had always paid on time through automatic debit payments for the past 4 years), but Wilber & Associates failed to send any correspondence or call me to let me know that they had taken over my account. I didn't notice that my automatic payments had stopped, so I had missed a payment. I had absolutely NO problem making the payment, but asked that they send me official correspondence, so I could send a check through my bank so I didn't have to give my payment information over the phone, especially since I had no idea if they were even telling the truth. They told me if I didn't make the payment now that my claim would be in default. I've worked hard for the last 4-5 years to raise my credit and do NOT miss payments, ever. They informed me that any miscommunication was MY fault because I should have noticed that the payment didn't go through and that it was not their job to "babysit". They're very fortunate that they are located in Illinois because I would LOVE to see what they'd have to say to my face; cowards.
This company is the worst and rude . I have a fraudulent claim filed against me with proof and they are still are talking to me like I owe money and I wasn't even the at fault driver ..
Hello I've been working with Josh since December of 2018 and he has truly helped me with my payment arrangements and soon I will be closing out my case. And with today being his April 20 I would like to say Happy birthdayyyyyyyy to uuuuuu.U guy's are off today for the holiday enjoy your day and thank u so much for helping me close a Huge chapter in my life.Looking forward to making sure.I have full coverage .Thanks so much Josh
It was a complete pleasure to be able to have Laura as my collections agent. This company is very professional and extremely friendly. I d highly recommend them to any and everyone.
These people are bullies. They take your money and get your drivers license suspended. They are rude to you on the phone. They don't deserve anyone's business. If i could give zero stars thats what they would get. These people don't do what they say they are going to do. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST. They represented a client who was petty and sued me over a quarter size scratch on a car that was not worth $500. They came after me like i was a criminal and they got my drivers license suspended. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE DEVILS
I have never dealt with a company with employees that were as rude and uncooperative as Wilber and Associates. Their facts are not straight and they REFUSE to listen to a word you have to say about it. I don't know if the threats are real or not. I assume they took over a debt settlement that I had with another organization. I paid on the debt every month for 11 years per the settlement contract. That company completely disappeared from the face of the earth before I had finished my payment plan and I tried every which way possible to try and figure out how to continue to make payments as I knew I still had a balance. Mail/payments were returned to me and phone lines disconnected. Then a year and half later Wilber and Associates gets in touch with me over my remaining balance and threatens me and refused to listen to a word I have to say. They claim that my debt hasn't been paid since 2002, which is false, and I have all the documents to prove it, but yet, they call me a liar and love to scream at you over the phone. I explained that I had a contract to pay the money back and would easy get back on my payment plan with them. She said she was going to take away my license. I asked to speak to someone else and she yelled at me to say that she is the only person I may speak to. I could barely understand her scattered english. As far as the people claiming 5 stars and how wonderful Wilber and Associates is, I would say its time for you to get off your knees and clean your face off and smell the coffee. The second time I called and asked to speak to someone that wasn't going to yell and scream at me, the first question they asked me was, "Do you even have a job?". I can't tell you how despicable these people are. Insanely RUDE.
Justice & Daisy (Dacee?) are so helpful. Justice was very knowledgeable and was able to fully explain the situation in a way that I was able to understand. Daisy worked with me to create a payment plan that worked for me. Justice & Daisy are both the best in the business and it was truly my pleasure to work with them!
Got into an accident almost three years ago, I was at fault. All of a sudden a few months ago my mom (Whose name my insurance card had on it at that time) began getting calls and letters from them. Then, right before Thanksgiving she received a letter threatening to suspend my license. I work two jobs, one of which is half an hour away so I can't afford that. My mother then went to a family friend who is an attorney, and the following was their experience.
He called the Insurance company that directed them to these idiots. That's correct, IDIOTS. Took them almost two hours to figure out the case number, the time of the incident, the place, EVERYTHING! Add in that the lady they spoke to was as rude as could be, and it was not a pleasurable experience. But the deal was struck, $750 up front and $150 a month for 27 months. Here's where it gets good.
My mother and I went to their location to give the down payment to shut them up. After navigating to the place we were met with an older woman who was clearly confused as she tried to get us to go to their other location (Yet we were told to go to where she was). We spent half an hour waiting to actually talk to someone who knew what the hell they were talking about. The ONLY saving grace of this place was the girl we talked to for their notary. She was kind and professional with us, and explained everything very well. But these people, aside from the one exception, were all horrible. If it wasn't for the fact I'm stuck paying these a**holes I'd never have a thing to do with them. Wish I could give negative stars
Laura at Wilber & Associates has more than went out of her way to get everything on track and easy to pay. She's easy to get ahold of if I ever have any questions or concerns. I've even got a personal call one time I forgot to pay. I really appreciate the time she has taken with me, and she always remembers me right away when I call.
I just want to highlight the wonderful lady that has been assisting me. Her name is Laura (hope I spelt that right). She is the most kind-hearted, understanding, and respectful person. If there was more than 5 stars I would give them to her. So glad she works for this company!!
indeed the first time i called this f** rude lady was talking over me and she didn't give me no options on how to make payments but 4 dAYS later i call and this lovely sweet lady handle my situations like a professional. not all people are the same. But it could of have been the same lady i will never know.
I called in to ask a few questions. I asked the woman on the phone Do you have a minute? That simple courtesy really sent her over the edge. The rest of the conversation was fueled with sarcasm and complete disrespect.I wonder what the training program looks like at the company because this woman should not have a job dealing with the general public. She mentioned it was a recorded line. I hope her supervisors have a listen!
I had a service Rep hang up on me and be completely disrespectful the entire call. Never gave me the info I asked for. These people are the thevies call your lawyer.
Now if I could only give the stars to their associate Janessa then I would five stars!
Janessa has been such a helpful person throughout this whole process. She is not only articulate in explaining what s happening but she s kind and full of grace. Whenever I ve spoken to ANYONE other then her it has thrown of the quality of my day. The rest of them are mean and very unpleasant to speak to.
Janessa is willing to work with you and also keep you informed with what is happening. I couldn t be happier that she is the person who is in charge of my account. I will never talk to anyone other then her because the rest of them are shameful.
THEY ARE A COLLECTION AGENCY. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT. PAY YOUR OBLIGATIONS! This company is legit and when one of you uninsured complainers hit me, they are the ones who got my deductible back. This company is legit. I wish I could give them ten stars. Don't drive without insurance.
I had been trying to get ahold of someone to pay on a wreak over a year ago. I had been given the ring around for a year with no one knowing or having the information to where I pay. Someone called me April 17th from here and told me I had to make a payment that day and we would set up a payment plan when they called a month later. No one called. So today I called and spoke to a woman named star. She gave me all the information I ve been looking for for a year with this company. She took the time to give me details I needed in order for everything to go through and get my license back!!! Thank you star! I m going to ask for her every time now
These people treated me like some kind of filth. These are the most unqualified unprofessional people i have ever seen. This business should either be shut down or put under whole new management.
Hanna is extremely rude, 1st she raises her voice in an unprofessional manner to my disabled mother who is in fact payong her 150.00 a month but fell behind last month because our grandma had passed away. So when my mom contacted her in trying to settle the matter (not loong for a hand out) to get back on track with payments Hanna bullies my mother not letting her talk to a point when she starts to cry, (i wpuld have stept in but my mother told me not to in fear that Hanna would deliver good on her threat and my mom pay everything in full all at once) i dont wish harm apon anyone how ever what ever happend to human courtesy and kindness or kust speaking to somone nicely, i do feel sorry for the ppl around her ,sge seems very unhappy and a beyond poor attitude of a person
The agent I spoke w was extremely helpful...willing to assist. She made this process a relief verses an additional burden. Appreciated all tbe assistance.
Very helpful! I m a single mother and was worried about what I was going to have to pay and how I could pay it, but thankfully an amazing woman called me today and helped me! She was able to find a payment arrangement that won t kill me financially. Very grateful
I was contacted on 10/7/2020 from this company and stated i need to have the total amount of my debt in less than 48 hours!!! Stating they will have my license suspended, vehicle registration suspended and so much more!!! Last I checked debt collection agencies are supposed to take what they can get from the individual(me) i stated I m not working at the moment and they i can do about $10-20 a week until i begin to work but they stated i need to pay half upfront and then will receive a monthly payment at $550 until the debt is paid off... there s so much more i want to say but it includes personal information.
Shanika is the best representaive. . Usually when I call anywhere the process is forever or I'm usually on hold forever but this phone call with this company and this person was GREAT. They are so helpful and dont mind helping at all. They are very sincere and made sure I understood everything. THANK YOU GUYS.
The lady I spoke with today was very unprofessional. She had the nerve to say that I was arguing with her because I asked her a question that she didn't know the answer to and when she did answer my concerns it was the same answer each time.
AMBER IN CUSTOMER SERVICE (ASSOCIATE "LOL") IS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. SHE ARGUES BACK WITH YOU INSTEAD OF BEING UNDERSTANDING AND TRYING TO FIGURE ANOTHER WAY. I ALREADY ADMITTED MY FAULT I DONT NEED THIS WOMAN ADDING TO IT. I DONT JUST HAVE 1300 LAYING AROUND IN MY BANK ACCOUNT TO PAY FOR A DEBT. AT THIS POINT TAKE WHAT YOU WANT. JUST LEAVE ME ALONE
Reading these reviews, I was very nervous and scared to give them a call after receiving a letter in the mail. However, I did feel an immediate urge to call considering it was an accident at my fault. I spoke with Ms. Mia Taylor, she was very professional & respectful. I was thrown for a complete 360, I was expecting someone to speak to me in the manner that the reviews stated. She was helpful & answered all of my questions. Communication is key.
Very rude and disrespectful staff. They have no respect for anyone and they don't even know how to talk as a human being. Stay away this company. I think they shouldn't be even allowed to serve because they insult people, not serving!
Life throws curveballs at you - it happens. We always fear when the bill man comes to call. After speaking with Laura from the Wilbur group, I answer when she calls - she is there to understand and guide you through what could be painful - but really isn t. Thank you Laura!
I called and my account representative did everything possible for me to enter into a payment arrangement that will not set me backwards. It made me want to resolve my account instead of being afraid to resolve this account. Thank you very much Wilber
My experience with this company since 2018 has been very unpleasant from the beginning. I have dealt with extremely rude individuals. I have also paid over $8500 on a $12000 claim and they refuse to work with me during the current pandemic. Extremely unprofessional and rude.
Laura with Wilbur and associates was very helpful concerning my account cocerning an auto accident...please commend her for exellence in customer service..
A fraudulent and abusive practice. I disputed a claim; they refused to hear my side of the story. I then attempted to negotiate a resolution of a matter despite the dispute just to simply get them out of my life. We reached a tentative negotiation, took my email to contact me about how to close it out and said they would call me back. They tried to call several times but left no messages; just hang ups. They never emailed. Now they demand the full disputed amount. Very rude, aggressive and unethical. No Stars should be provided in this rating. They are in the negative.
There was a Dawon Brown that kept calling me from different numbers harassing me til the point I had to get my number changed . I was told I had to pay them in order to get my license reinstated, but I had to give them my bank account info in order to pay them and not send money through money order or cashiers check. Which I was willing to send a money order or whatever, but he was very rude in saying I couldn t and wanted my bank account info . Which I wasn t comfortable with giving out .Very unprofessional and unpleasant experience.
my experience was crap, the lady who answered the phone was idiot, she just kept putting me on hold, over and over Her name is Alley she is irate from the beginning. I get that collections isn't the easiest job, but at the end of the day if she hates her job that much she should just quit. I intend on filing a complaint with the FDCPA against her company for creditor harassment. She initially was un cooperative disrespectful and essentially useless ! When I asked for her supervisor she tried to transfer me to a voicemail. I had to call back 6 times before she even entertained my inquiry ! At which point she did nothing but yell at me. Even when I told her to calm down, she couldn't gain control of her voice. It was slightly insane !
I absolutely HATE this company. They are RUDE and just plain nasty. You tell me you can work with me on my payments but when I call in to pay wont even except the payment then HANG UP ON ME. This company is ridiculous, I will be glad to be DONE with them.
These people are not lawyers, they are scam artists. They sent me a letter demanding over $3,000 dollars for an accident I was never involved in with a vehicle I've never owned. Phone representative then became irate after I told them I was not the individual, cut me off, then hung up on me.
After calling back to speak to a supervisor the woman on the line, who was the same woman from the first call, again began cutting me off and arguing with me until I hung up. Serious attitude on these people.
They called my phone as a wrong number and then we're rude to me for answering! Whaaa!? What horrible people. What sane person gets mad at the recipient of a wrong number they themselves called!? Oh well, karma's a b*tch and sure enough karma is going to come back on them and give them the swift kick on the butt that they deserve.
This weak agency tried to get me to pay out on a claim that was considered SOFT FRAUD in the Claims world! Thank God I obtained that license bc this weak agency tried to claim $30k + on an accident with NO DAMAGE to that fraud insurance carrier truck. The funny thing is the POLICE OFFICER told this fraud guy that he couldn't FAKE injuries with NO DAMGES NO INDEMNIFICATION A HOLE.... he was mad she was calling him out immediately for fraud! This asinign agency trying get collect MONEY for an accident with no damages!! Lmao! I told the emotional rep that GOD has the last say and he became very IRATE!! God offended the little guy spirit! He know God doesn't support this weak firm behavior! Y'all men deserve hotdogs at wilber and followers.
Very unprofessional, argumentative, all around bad unhappy people at Wilber Group.. If they think those tactics work in debt collecting they need a in house psychologist... They shouldn't even get 1 star..
These people are rude, disrespectful and don't care about empathy!! We had a house fire that was accidentally started and 4 months layer received a bill stating we needed to pay 16,000 in damages!!! We didn't have insurance at the time but we knew we had to pay something at some point, so we waited. We got mailed a letter and received it 8 days after them mailing it, when we called we were told they NEEDED 50% of the claim THAT DAY in order for us to start a payment plan because it was the last day of the month. We got hung up on, cut off, she raised her voice and told me she didn't HAVE to talk to me and I can get the balance paid in full when I receive a letter in another week. Don't listen to these people, if you receive a letter from them make sure you know what they are wanting you to pay for and check with the party requesting the payment. Worst excuse for attorneys at law aka debt collectors.
My sister received a claim from their office, she called to find out what it was for, and they were extremely rude to her on the phone. They were yelling and being "smart" with her, demanding she paid the full amount charged over the phone with her credit card. My sister did not feel comfortable giving her debit card information over the phone, and wanted to mail the payment in. They once again yelled at her, intimidating her to pay now or they would submit the paper work to suspend her license. Needless to say, I have never heard someone be so rude over the phone with a client, especially being a "law firm". The person who "spoke" to my sister was Ms. Reynolds. If I could rate them a 0 I would!!!
I wish I could give 0 stars they keep calling me the lady nikki who is the rudest person ever wont let me get a word in to speak I spoke with one other lady really nice and she said we could settle they cashed my check now they want more money and told me so what they don't care called to speak to a supervisor they refused to let me speak to anyone...who does that I don't think they even know what manners and respect are
This is a scam. Tried to get my GF to pay for an accident that she wasn't in, in a car she no longer owned (for over a year). They were rude and harassed her AND her family. Threatened her credit if she didn't pay. Refuse to simply pull up Carfax and see who actually owned the car. How do you demand payment, AND threaten credit scores, when you don't even have a judgment against someone from the court? FYI, Wilbur dorks, its one of the first things you learn in law school, if someone says "Speak to my layer," you stop talking to them and you contact their lawyer. This is not a law office, its a fraud office. Don't pay these dorks.
UPDATE:
Oh give me a break, dork. Look at all your reviews! You can't seem to locate a claim? Because you are incompetent. You can't seem to locate CarFax either. Or locate the concept of a contract being legal when you sign it, not when the state gets around to processing it. You also can't get around to contacting a car dealership for verification. You CAN however get around to harassing people and their family members, threatening them, and demanding money that isn't owed WITHOUT A LEGAL JUDGMENT! You are a trash company and this phony "Gee golly we don't understand what you mean" response is not representative of how you run your business. NOBODY GIVE THESE PEOPLE MONEY WITHOUT A JUDGMENT! ITS. A. SCAM.
I had to sue these jerks for violating the Fair Debt Collection Act! They constantly harassed me by calling all the time demanding I sell everything I own and live on the streets so I can send them money I still say I never owed them! I never even heard of these jerks until they got my license suspended!
I called in to find out what the letter was about they are very rude and demanded payment in full. Before I pay something in full, I want a list of what I'm being charged for. The lady said they'll email it in a few days. A few days? It almost felt like they have to make some figures up or something. I even had insurance and the lady tryed telling me it's to late to provide that to them that I have to remit payment in full immediately. They are very rude and obviously there one star for a reason. A friendly reminder, "People trying to resolve an issue, don't like rude and unprofessional people", now I have zero initiative to pay them I will deal with the original creditor.
If I could I would give them negative stars SHANNON is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and EXTREMELY RUDE NO CUSTOMER SKILLS AT ALL, try to avoid speaking with her. She tries to scare you that you are on a recorded line ...so? She seems like a newbe with no training cause she just speaks in circles when I ask a question she says "I already answered your question" obviously you didn't cause I didn't get an answer. I called for a receipt of the payment and she DECLINE to release a receipt to me, is that even legal for someone to decline a receipt for payment you have made? Total BS! Very horrible harassing company always calling and mailing you bills, I was fully aware I had to pay , NO NEED TO HARASS ME WITH CALLS AND BILLS. I think its funny that it took them 2 seconds to take $4,200 from me but it took them a week to mail me the case release AND NOW DECLINING TO GIVE ME A RECEIPT FOR THE PAYMENT TOTAL BS! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID BEWARE !!!
They use unessasary tactics and punishments. Then they treat you like you did something to them personally and talk to your like your a criminal. worst kind of people and worse kind of business.
Hannah is VERY RUDE and hung up on me serval times. She made it very hard to even make payments!! I finally got in contact with the manager Daniel. He was extremely professional and showed kindness. Daniel helped me out alot and answered my questions, he is the only person I will talk to about anything . thank you!
I have been dealing with these people for months. They threatened to suspend my license unless I paid for over $600 up front that day. Obviously I didn t have that money yet, so I lost my license for a few months. Finally paid the $600 with $150 a month payments. Recently I called to make my payment and the lady dealing with my case was always out of the office. So my payment went late and finally I spoke to a supervisor and she told me they DEFAULTED my account due to no contact from me. I m sorry WHAT?! So I live in Ohio and Ohio only lets us have ONE installment agreement and now I have to paid the full balance of $1600 or my license is gone. I ve been in tears and calling and trying to find places to find a way to make this money and nothing so far. These people do not care about you or your well being or your finances. They will not work with you. They are rude and disrespectful and do not care. I want to fight it, but I have no idea how to.
I would give 0 stars if possible. Will not stop harassing me and threatening to illegally suspend my license when i told them i am appealing their case. Extremely rude and aggressive tactics, very unprofessional and just based off of their google and BBB reviews you can see what kind of business they run. Terrible
Of course these reviews are giving one star ratings, it is a law office that deals mainly with collection/recovery. My experience with them was extremely professional, they helped me get my license back and get my claim paid off. If you need collection done, i would use them, they are extremely knowledgeable and great at their jobs. # 2
Horrible company! !! I don't know how they are still aloud to be a company!! Trying to sue me for over $1200 for an accident when I don't drive, never been in an accident, and I've never owned a car cause I'm fully disabled ! Tired to call and had to deal with very very rude people every time I called no matter who I talked to. Guess I will be getting a lawyer since they are saying they'll suspend my licence for something I didn't do!!
I don't agree with the amount they are claiming the insurance company paid, but the customer agent was professional and did his best to assist with entering us into a payment plan.
Tehina was the last person who handled my case before it was transfer to a new specialist. Tehina works in good faith and due-diligent. She listen, understand, and handled my case professionally. She express a coherent and a positive assertiveness about the details in my case, as she is always--representing the best for the company. She was also kind, and went the extra mile. I called a few times and even had a moment of despair over the phone. She was patience to hear my concerned feedback; she spoke direct, clear and calm about what will be the next appropriate step to solve this matter. I writing my gratitude about Tehina's ambition with her clients and the Wilber group toward great success. When I felt like giving up due to the debt in my case, she shown me "the light at the end of the tunnel." She explained my options while remaining a positive demeanor. She inspired me to continue to be responsible in my future endeavors, rather it is pro or con. I will take the next step forward until everything is properly completed. Thank you Tehina. P.s. a close relative of mine is a proud military veteran. When the time is right, I will seek USAA for the insurances they offer because of my experienced with USAA rep., the Wilber group, Starrlet and mainly because of Tehina.
They came after me for an accident that had not been dealt with through the other parties insurance company. I got into an accident with their client and it was her fault. I was switching insurance companies at the time, but I gave her my license number and information to have her insurance company call me. I did not hear about it for 6 months before Wilber and Associates contacted me trying to collect 2239.00. I didnt even know what insurance company was trying to get money from me...come to find out its because they were not working with an insurance company. Their client just hired them to blindly come after me for money with no proof or even my side of the story! Completely illegal thing to do.
I wrote a letter reminding them of this, and they wrote me a letter informing me they would take off the hold they caused in my bank account. Then they never did it.
Update: I just called them trying to figure out what was going on and Mr Wilber finally got on the line with me and yelled at me. Said I cost him 500 dollars because I counter sued him for trying to come after me illegally. He cost me 500 in legal fees as well. All I wanted was the letter to lift the held money in my account and he interpreted and yelled at me saying I still did owe that money. He also said the insurance company hired him...but at the time of the first collection try they couldnt tell me who it was. I was blind and had no way of knowing who I was supposed to be dealing with so I dealt directly with them. He is mad because I counter sued and he took it personally.....well when someone comes after me illegally for money....and doesnt give me a name or insurance company to deal with...then what am I supposed to do? I went after the person coming after me. He claimed I was in an accident and owed money, so....who am I supposed to talk to about that??? Him of course.
He claims he didnt write any letter of the sort. I have the letter. He is a really angry and rude person. I wasnt even calling because I was upset...I just wanted to know if he was still going to do what the letter indicated. And if he hired a lawyer in my area to take care of it...then the lawyer sent it to me. I am going to contact them:)

So I will start by saying I understand the purpose of law firms like this. People owe money and it is their job to get it. Let's be honest, bullying and threats are still a very viable way to accomplish things especially in the judicial system whether criminal or civil. I am sure I will get a response from these people saying "we strive to always be professional" or whatever other PC quote, but what I am saying is 100% accurate. Regardless, I am not upset that they use those tactics or that they constantly call until they receive the results they want. Again, thats what they are paid to do. Here is my one simple complaint/request. Please find someone who has the intelligence to input a credit card so that I do not have to talk to you every single month because no one has the knowledge, training, or ability to put 16 digits into a computer in the correct sequence to prevent an issue every blessed month! Case and point I had a debit card on file that for three months they continually stated was getting rejected. I was then told that the card was removed due to it being expired. The expiration date clearly states 10/19. I am writing this on 01/29/2019. By my calculations I still have a few months until that expiration date. I only say this because talking to anyone in that office is so very frustrating and puts me in such a deep depression that only alcohol and a hammer will make it better. I know you don't like talking to me either so let's do each other a favor. Learn to input my info correctly and I will make sure money is waiting in that account for you. Also I gave 2 stars because they do answer the phone. So they have that going for them.
VERY, VERY, VERY RUDE!!! I HATE THEM! Trying to suspend my license! Claiming I owe almost $2,800, for a little fender bender! I ask WHY is it so much-there wasn't that much damage, and I get RUDE remarks, and HUNG UP on. I TRIED to SET up some type of payment plan, but THEY want HALF NOW. I told them I don't have $1,000-and the RUDE woman tells me, "All I'm hearing is what you CAN'T do. Pay the bill if you want you license back!" Then she HUNG UP on me!
This company whatever they call them self are just HORRIBLE and have HORRIBLE service. Including that Karla Garcia lady she is so rude threatening to suspend my license? Lady is out of her mind. Lmao! They want their money soon bad and you try and help them out but they don't bother doing their part right how are you supposed to pay them when they can't even help with their rude and nasty language. People like them is the reason America is so messed up. They say Mexico is corrupt? Don't think so, this company is! #FraudulentCompany!
They told the state that I didn't pay them for a car accident and then when I call them they say I did but it will be 150 dollars yo get them to send something to the state which they said they already did send when I paid for a copy before and now they want me to pay it again with no Guarantee they will send anything to me or the state about it they are crooks
These people are nothing but bullies they have been harassing someone I know, they call tell them they better pay and then hang up the phone what kind of behavior is that, I have never seen a reputable attorney act this way in any situation. And why would major companies want to be tied to these people. I heard METLIFE uses them and if I verify that they do, I will need to change my insurance company.
