Got my second phone call this morning. From same lady (very rude, loud & talking over me) saying they want full amount $10,000 from a accident that I wasn't involved in but the car was registered to me or if I didnt they would suspend my license and registraion until amount paid in full. They wanted $5000 up front. I told her I'm low income and I dont have that kind of money. I can do $100 down and $50 a month. She sighed and said no that doesn't work so she is noting in my chart that I'm refusing to pay and they're putting a lien on my license and registration. Can they do this???
