Total fraud. My husband was receiving harrassing letters a d pho e call stating we owe farmers insurance $100,000 for a car accident. Called DMV in Sacramento, Ca. They have record of us selling the car, over a year before the accident , it cost $2 dollars for the DMV print out. I then called Farmers in4and spoke to the adjuster on the case. She stated Wilber and Associates does not represent Farmers insurance and they have no record of my husbands name in her case file for that claim she then transferred me to the legal dept. to submit a fraud claim. I faxed letter to them, it clearly says Our client Farmers insurance...also filed complaint with California insurance commission. It tol 1 phone call and a $2 print out to find out we didn't own vehicle on date of accident but this company couldn't figure it out.

My experience with them was extremely professional, they helped me get my license back and get my claim paid off. VERY RUDE. UNPROFESSIONAL. SCARE TACTICS AND BULLYING. They hung up on me when i began asking about what would happen if i didnt pay. I want to see an estimate and pictures and the rude lady hung up and called my boyfriend to bully him for money until he said he had to go that he did not have his debit card and was at work. She insisted that we pay by 9pm tonight or they would persue legal action. Ive consulted my own legal aid for extortion. This company needs to be shut down. Id file bankruptcy befor id ever give these people money if i had it to give for something that isnt even mine to pay. If your looking to hire these people to win you money. Dont. If the people getting persued take you to court it will get dismissed because of thier un lawful ways and extortionistic represenatives.

Hung up on me twice and proceeded to lie that their was no one above her that I could speak too . Every month they call me to harass me about information they already have! I'm convinced they just want to record and hear my pretty voice . Can't wait till my settlement is over so I never have to deal with these women again .

They keep calling me trying to collect a debt that isn't mine. It involves a burglary in Portland Oregon at a winery. They have surveillance footage proving it's not me. The insurance adjuster at Allstate has told me that they won't be contacting me again. Still Wilber keeps herassing me. I've contacted my lawyer who has asked them to stop. Yet I still keep getting phone calls and letters. Please stop before I begin my own lawsuit! This opens a whole new can of worms because you are actually accusing me of committing a crime!
Horrible company. My boyfriend found my spare key, took my car without my permission and wrecked it while I was at work. Get a call from these people and told that they couldn't get him to pay because he was in jail so I had to pay or else my license would be suspended. I am a single mom with a son that has ADHD and epilespy. I couldn't lose my license. I have been paying these people religiously for over a year. I lost my job and had to take one with lesser pay. I called the lady and explained that to her and i have been getting harassed everyday, since the middle of December. Mind you I have only missed these 2 payments. Seriously going to start calling lawyers on Monday to deal with them.
Beware of this company! Like so many other people we have the misfortune of being on this company's target list. From day one I has been a nightmare dealing with them. We dealt with a woman named Mrs. Galuzi (if that was her real name). She was rude and an absolute bully on the phone. She threatened to have our drivers license suspended if we didn't pay for an accident my son caused. We told her that we have no problem paying; we just wanted to see a copy of the claim verifying the amount. We asked 3 times for a copy of the insurance claim. We have yet to receive it. From reading all the other reviews, I suspect they will not send us a copy of the claim because the amount they said that was paid on the claim doesn't match up with the amount they are trying to get from us. It seems they are complete SCAM artists.They want us to pay some dollar amount without providing us with any documentation to support that amount.
Can you believe their tag line is "Wilber Faithfully Serving". Who are they serving...Satan. Their core value is: "We treat others how we would like to be treated, whether client, vendor, tortfeasor, or coworker." Scam, Scam, Scam. It just goes to show you how anyone can put anything on the web.
We are in Texas and we are not going to roll over and let them bully us. They have bitten off more than they can chew with us. We have a legal plan for them and they are playing right into our hands. We are going to legally fight them to the end. If your license gets suspended because of this company, get all your documentation together and SUE them for damages.
People before you send them any money, ask for documentation supporting the amount they say you owe. Do your research on this company first and find out what law(s) they are breaking; I assume there are many. Then report them to the proper authorities in Illinois. Turn the tables on them. Don't be a victim of theirs. If the Illinois authorities gets enough complaints on this company they will investigate them. Know your rights!
I was in a accident last year and was in dealings with Wilbur associates and I can honestly say that Hannah Meade was the most professional and helpful in this situation I was going thru. Even tho I was at fault I was treated with the most upmost respect from Hannah. She s a true professional and to be honest quite great at customer service. I spoke w/ a rep today to advise them they needed to have the insurance companies work this out as this was a "no fault" accident. They decided they can play judge and jurry and demand payment w/out a judgement or even contacting my insurance company. I carry a $50k policy they are completely ignoring as it was their client that was at fault. When they found out I had no assests, they threatened to take my liscense. They cannot be trusted and have now been reported to the BBB as has Safeco Ins for trying to circumvent the court system. BEWARE.... they will try to scare you, but have no power. I should know as I have a deagree in account and 10 years in accounts receivable. DO NOT provide them w/ ANY info. Contact YOUR insurance company and let them handle these scam artists. As for me, since they have no court order, I am ignoring them and working with my insurance co and the BBB.
I'm not very happy with this company. They have a judgement against my driver's license but when I called to try to figure things out, she told me that Wilber doesn't have the account anymore and I have to contact the original insurance company. Farmer's isn't the name listed keeping me from a valid license, it's Wilber! Of course, the rep hung up on me when I was trying to explain and ask questions so I didn't get any resolution. Very frustrating!
Borrow a phone if you have to call them or call from a payphone. Yes, they are very rude and will not let you even speak. As soon as I got someone, i gave my information, they asked if I'm calling settle. First of all, my insurance can deal with it. Secondly, I don't know if their threats are real, saying my license will be suspended because i didn't have insurance at the time of the crash...? then magically the name of my insurance popped out of nowhere, and was told they didn't pay?...Something is off here. I rather work with my insurance then with these hyenas. I don't remember the girls name, but she sounded rude and aggressive, with a desperate need for Salvation of Jesus in her life. USAA Casualty Insurance Co continues to send letters to my husband for an accident that he never had, with a vehicle he has never owned. What is wrong with people? He called and they said they said not to worry about it because my husband explained it wasn't him. It s been months and we're still receiving letters asking us to pay over $1100, with the most recent coming from an attorney, Wilber & Associates out of Normal IL (how ironic!), who claim that no attorney in their firm has reviewed the particular circumstances of this account. This makes no sense to me. Why are they sending us a request for $1100.00 if they don't even know what it's for? It appears that so many insurance carriers and attorneys, always with their hands out, are trying to get as much money as they can from innocent, hardworking people. These people should be ashamed of themselves and not be able to sleep at night due to their incompetence and dishonest practices! GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT! How on earth is it ok for insurance companies and attorneys to do whatever they want and harass people who have never had anything to do with their companies? Unbelievable how people operate in this world anymore, it's truly a darn shame! There seems to be absolutely no accountability and extremely poor customer service!

I spoke with Jennifer Woodson, Manager of Wilber and Associates this afternoon (6/30/15) regarding a claim a homeowner had submitted to their own insurance provider following an accident in their driveway. The homeowner and my daughter worked out an agreement that was acceptable to them both to ensure the garage door was repaired, but after the homeowner's insurance company turned over the paid claim to Wilber & Associates, our nightmare began.
Wilber & Associates uses SCARE tactics, THREATS, and DESPICABLE RUDENESS to frighten people into paying large amounts of money for claims already paid. Apparently any insurance company can come after anyone for anything to recoup their pay-out for any accident claim... from a broken arm at a sleep over to a bump into someone's garage door.
READERS, KNOWING YOUR RIGHTS can save you thousands of dollars. Premiums are paid to cover your assets, thereby ensuring that something broken can be made whole. I've had IMT insurance for years, and you can bet I will be contacting them myself about paid claims being turned over to collection agencies like these; the tactics used by these companies completely NEGATE all the great things said by insurance companies in their advertising. What a paradox. Honest Americans carry insurance to cover situations just like these, and sometimes, we make mistakes. Insurance companies apparently don't make enough money from our premiums alone, and so when a claim is made, they hire UNETHICAL companies like WILBER & ASSOCIATES to scare the pants off hard-working, vulnerable people by using threats like YOU'LL LOSE YOUR LICENSE, COURT JUDGEMENT, and RUIN YOUR CREDIT in their attempts to recover pay-outs made by their clients' (ie: insurance companies'). Pay-outs that YOU HAVE ALREADY COVERED by paying your premiums.

Garcia was just plain rude and have the nastiest attitude since day 1! And then she asked me what my problem was, well her nasty attitude and can't provide proper information when I asked her about the break down of the paperwork. I don't know how she even how she even got the job as an attorney with that attitude and doesn't have knowledge on how to explain things. I just decided to be done with it because she started yelling and being extra rude. If you guys wants people to cooperate with you guys and finish paperwork as soon as possible, then why the hell would you hire people like her. No wonder you have such bad reviews. Doesn't matter how difficult the case is, it's your people who is making things more difficult with their nasty attitude. It would have been so much easier and faster if I was speaking to a real adult instead of someone who has a brain as an teenager who just started puberty. Ugh.

Calling at all hours looking for someone who isn t me. I ve had this phone number over 5 years. People who are working their phones are rude and belligerent. Told me they haven t called but once. I asked if they d like to listen to the voice mails then. I m on the east coast. These people call Betweeen 9:30 and ten every night. Like it s my problem that can t track down whomever they re looking for. They have an attitude From the moment they pick up the telephone.
The employees of this firm are extremely rude and unprofessional and will resort to underhanded and dishonest tactics as soon as they make contact with their target. Under false pretenses, they will make baseless threats of legal penalties in an attempt to secure a quick payment for totally unsubstantiated amounts. I would recommend that anyone dealing with them ignore their threats and demands until they have looked into these threats for themselves (to see if they are even legitimate, they probably will not be) and verified the amounts demanded. They will initially refuse, but people should demand as much documentation as possible for the amounts requested. Only when they have verified their likely false or exaggerated threats should a person look to cooperate with Wilber employees, ideally with an attorney if possible.
Today I spoke with gentleman named Kyle. I have to say my previous encounter with the lady I had spoke to was not good. I was ready to give up but today after speaking with Kyle my faith was restored. Kyle was kind and above all RESPECTFUL, He talked to me like a real person. That and that alone is the reason I will work with them .
I just wanted to THANK Laura she always goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly under the circumstances my vehicle was in an accident and I wasn't even there when it happened but because I was the owner I was held liable. So when I say Wilber and associates need more employees like her I genuinely mean that. This company should be placed out of business. The staff and team members are very rude and unprofessional. As attorneys they should be embarrassed to be represented buy class less workers, who does not know how to speak with their clients. I had a case being handles by this buisness and there "Claim Handler Kanesha" was rude, unpleasant, bitter, and incompetent.

We were contacted by this company for a claim my wife was at fault for 2 months ago. We admit fault and that we would like to work to resolve the situation. The woman who called me and began screaming at me that I need to lay them in full immediately or my license would be taken (I wasnt involved in the accident) I tried explaining to her that I needed to be given documentation showing how much we owed and verify the debt (I'm not just giving out my CC info to some random person that called me). She continued to scream at my that they were going sue me (again, this is the first contact) she eventually hung up on me. After speaking with the attorney general's office and verifying who these people were I called them back. This lady was very polite and we chatted about the situation and she agreed to send me the info. We just got the paperwork 2 days ago and tonight I got another call. It was the first lady. I explained that I couldnt pay half the bill upfront, but told her what I could do today. That wasnt good enough. She again threatened to take my license and mark my account as unwilling to cooperate. She yelled at me again that they were going to sue me and hung up.
This is really unbelievable. I'm sitting here, willing to give a down payment and set up an arrangement but she was so arrogant and rude that she wouldn't even accept it. Sorry, I cant swing $330 a month for a year. They really need to realize that strong arming people doesnt get money coming in the door. I felt obligated to write a good review to offset the overall negative ratings for this company. My representative, Mercedes, was very polite and professional throughout my debt repayment. They were also willing to be flexible with my payments a couple of months when I was struggling a little more financially. Overall positive experience for dealing with a not so positive circumstance.
Everytime you call they say the phone call is being recorded. Pam specifically told me all i had to pay was $75 by the end of the day to keep my account current and my license wont be suspended. Fast forward a week later, she said she never said that. So i asked to hear the phone call and they refuse to play the phone call. These people are horrible.

I dealt with a young lady named sexy she was really nice and understanding and had a great attitude about resolving the issue as quick as possible. she had very good knowledge about the situation and was able to give step by step instructions on how to get through it. SHAVONTAY was very helpful, kept it very professional and guide me through the process how to work my debts. The manager Jennifer is definitely not a people person very rude and very unprofessional , i'm a disabled amputee from below the knee and i drive to work and back home in it's a pretty far distance from my home to work. They have records where i live. The manager Jennifer stated since my address looks like i stay in the city and there's transportation for my kind of people (disabled) i can catch a ride and still get to work. Since they can suspend my license tag and my driver's license i can understand that part. but i had very little money to offer where they can lift that up and still let me get to work and let me have my driving privilege and she didn't wanted to work with me with the only amount i had left in my bank account. yet she kept repeating herself "we need that" "you need to do that". i mean very disrespectful and very rude i mean the worst customer service and a very horrible voice as well i could barely understand what she say's over the other side of the phone.

Everyone that I have spoken to has been rude and disrespectful. The women initially handling my case left and after that I've only gotten rude people. Today I was hung up due to expressing my feelings. I have been requesting documents from this company for three weeks! After finally getting them they were wrong. I spoke with a rep today and after expressing my concern all she seemed to care about is my balance that I have had since 2/3/2020. Me paying $750 on it so far did not seem to matter. As she loved to point out the fact that it was my fault that I am in this situation. Which I agree with 100%, however, the mannerism of this company is so disrespectful and unprofessional. At this point I just wish I was with a different collection company!!!

I would advise any corporation or company seeking legal advice to not reach out to wilber law associates. When I spoke to a representative by the name of Ali today she was extremely rude. I called to cancel and automated payment because a payment was made online. Off the gate she was poor in her customer service skills. it is very apparent that these representatives are working from home, and her personal issues overflowed into my business conversation. Never in my life have I heard it customer service representative be happy about a complaint. But as I scroll through oh, I see that I am not the first person to complain about her being rude. I think it's also a Poor for customer support that the owner of this page is not responding to the complaints about Ally, and has left her unchecked. I also will be contacting the better business bureau and officially writing a complaint in myself. I would like to say something should be done about this, but apparently this needs to go over the owner of this website is head and straight to corporate.

Fake Company? We received a request for hundreds of dollars saying that they had tried to reach us for months, with no explanation of what it was for, and when I called they hung up on me twice.Then I called the supposed "claimant" who said it was an auto claim my insurance company had taken care of months before. So draw your own conclusions. From the other reviews and what I saw - hang up on them and block them.
These people are ruthless and RUDE!!! I got into a car wreck with no ins. Completely my fault and I obviously owe some sort of debt. This company told me a different balance every time I called them. Any time I had a question they were so condescending! Like, how dare I question this bill that fluctuates everytime I call?? I had already "settled" the debt, then received a call 2 months later with a bal 4 times as much as the original. Had to go on a payment plan, came upon some extra money to settle again. They gave me the WRONG balance and took my settlement which basically made them get MORE of my money. If I would have gotten the CORRECT balance my settlement offer obviously would have been lower! With no remorse or care they basically told me get over it. pay it or we will take your license. I understand they are just trying to do their job, but just like them I was just trying to do MY JOB, and pay the balance the best I could. To be so RUDE and condescending to someone who has general questions about an account is insane. I cant imagine if I didnt want to pay, or if I wasnt able to set up a payment plan. If they treat the "ideal" customer (ME) like this how in the WORLD do they treat anyone who is just a little less fortunate??? I am in no way fortunate either. A 25 yr old single mother, working full time and going to school. A little compassion and PATIENCE would go a long way!!

At the time of my wreak I was Insured, I just accidentally gave the cop my wrong insurance card so they mailed me and called me because my insurance was out of date (because it's the old one) so I told them what my insurance at the time was, about 3 weeks later I got another letter in called up there to very very rude additude toward me saying that I need to pay and I explained that I had insurance and that i will give it to them again, they told me they ran the insurance twice and wasn't gonna run it again, when I ask what insurance they had on file they told me my old one which was handed to the cop I told her what happen while she was rudly interrupting me, and she told me it's my job now to call the insurance and get them to call them, I told her that's her job, she didn't like this and told me it's her job to get the money, which I explained she could get it if she just called the insurance company. Never ever had such a rude experience with anyone beside these people everyone I talked to just talked down to me while I was trying to help them out.

They are in association with insurance scammers and will try to trick you into paying bogus claims! If there's no police report...tell them to kick rocks!

I am a State Farm agent and an expired insurance card with my name on it was found in a car involved in an accident. They tried to tie me to the accident first telling me I was the registered owner of the vehicle involved and I had to go to the DMV to clear my name. After spending 2 hours at the DMV I found out that was not true - WRONG! Then they told me I had to file a police report and have my company send a letter - WRONG! I tried to work with them to clear things up. After 3 calls, talking with 3 different people and getting different stories and requests trying to help them resolve any issue I finally reached someone who was calm and admitted there was no way they could tie me to the accident. They are just rude people trying to trap and threaten others to pay debt regardless of who is actually responsible. I was disappointed that not only Safeco, but my own company uses them to collect debt on claims. A total unethical company, which is the antithesis of what I know State Farm to represent.
Customer service is amazing! Rachel has been extremely helpful! She is easily the best customer service rep I have spoken with at all this year over all the customer service reps I have come in contact with! Would highly recommend her to anyone I come acrossed! Thank you Rachel! -Josh Bergum
I am not sure who answers the phone for this company, but the lady is so rude. Maybe she thinks she owns the company rather than works for the company. Why would anyone even want to deal with such horrible customer service. This company needs to be reported to the BBB.
Legal situations are never easy. I called Wilber to resolve the issue on a Saturday and Brittany answered the telephone. I was very upset because something had happened regarding this issue that really rattled me. Brittany was kind, compassionate while being very professional. She was able to get the correct paperwork needed to get the issue resolved and called me back on Monday. Again, caring, compassionate and very professional. Brittany made a difficult situation pleasant. Our world needs more people like her. Thank you
My brother was involved in a car accident recently which he accidentally ran over a small fence. He had no insurance and a DUI, you live and you learnall he had was his license suspended, a month later the wilber group calls me and threatens to suspend my license if we dont pay $35,571. lol for a fence no other property damages, ridiculous. we are going to fight these people and not a single penny will come out of our pocket
To say that this office is rude is an understatement. Totally unprofessional people work at this organization. I'm embarassed to know they live in a lovely community I used to call home! Very sad.
Scott is has been very helpful. Ive had bad experiences with several collectors regarding an accident I had but Scott was kind and patient and understand stood i didnt have tons of money and allowed me to set up a payment plan and now I'm one step closer to getting this issue resolved. Shanika was AWESOME! On point with her curtesy and communication skills with myself , I m not a Wilber client, I am a person receiving a claim! I m very impressed and in joy that she respectfully and very smoothly laid everything out for me within the claim and made me a 100% comfortable with this process!
