I ordered a Pursuit char after a successful purchase of a desk from this company. i think its fair to note that they do list on their website that consumer pays for the return shipping if they are dissatisfied with the item.

i ended up not liking the pursuit chair for a variety of reasons including the poor cushion, cheap plastic construction, and poor fit. im 5'10" and 180 so if your close to me AVOID this chair, there are far better out there for less money.

PS if you do have to ship an item back like this chair, retail pricing on that shipping is 150 dollars. when i asked if there was anything i can do about having to pay the shipping originally I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING. when i found out it was going to cost $150 they quickly offered to send me a prepaid tag and deduct from my return which was estimated at $30. its absolutely shameful that they dont offer this upfront let alone cover the shipping both ways on such an expensive item that they clearly have HEALTHY margins on. Wont ever buy another product from this company again...

Customer service was marginal at best, offers to replace under warrenty after you spend time/effort assembling. How about shipping quality products the first time?

I have had an UPLIFT desk for six months now. Before I began to utilize it, my neck, back and shoulders were uncomfortable every day. Sitting all day was not a pleasant way to work. My employer bought a couple sit/stand desks for a floating office, and I tried one. The difference was remarkable. Since I work primarily from home, I bought one for myself, and have not regretted it for a minute. The desk is fully adjustable and I find my neck, back and shoulders are all now pain free at the end of even a 12 hour day. I also recently purchased an UPLIFT Motion Stool and it is the perfect compliment to my desk, allowing me to perch/lean while on a long call on in a meeting.

As far as service goes, HumanSolution has been fantastic to deal with with respect to both purchases. When I ordered my desk, the top was shipped separately and while the UPS tracker indicated that it was being delivered the same day as the components, it was not. I called the company and they shipped a second top right away without hassle. When I ordered the stool, I was not able to get it to assemble properly. I took a few pictures and the service department was able to figure out the issue and email me with a simple fix which took care of the problem. Everyone I have dealt with has been exceedingly friendly, courteous and helpful. I cannot say enough good about the company. They have earned my business and will keep it.

I recently received an Uplift bamboo desk that had slight damage to the desktop. I called customer service and spoke to Jackson Daly about my concerns over the damage. There have been many instances in the past that have caused me to lose confidence in customer service responses to issues such as this, but not this time! Jackson s support was exemplary! He was able to address my concern over the phone, with no back and forth over who s fault it was. It s nice to know that high level customer support still exist and there are companies like Uplift that believe in the customer experience.

I read all the positive reviews (Wirecutter, the most obvious one) and this sounded like the desk to have. Then the desk arrived and I didn't notice the gash in the front of the box until I flipped over an assembled table. I was horrified to see the damage to the table top. So then I read all the negative reviews and was really worried about dealing with Uplift's customer service. I couldn't have been more wrong. I reached customer service and dealt with Jackson who rectified the situation immediately, without any hassle at all. I mean, Jackson made the replacement process so simple. I was so pleased because this desk is as awesome as the reviews state. It's solid. The programmable height adjustments are amazing. The desktop (bamboo) is so comfortable to work on. I'm extremely pleased with the product and the outstanding service.

Abigail helped me with my purchase of a T-frame 60x30 rubberwood top standing desk. The dark finish on the wood looks amazing, and the desk is effortless to set up. The desk moves around silently and easily with heavy duty casters. The build quality of the desk is top notch.

The rubberwood desktop was damaged by FedEx during transit. I contacted Abigail and she responded very fast and quickly sent me a replacement. It's a very pleasant purchasing experience and I highly recommend UPLIFT desk to anyone who's interested in a standing desk

Love the desk and the great customer service that came with it! I finally decided to invest in a standing desk. My better half had done the research, compared the options, and decided on Uplift. He'd been enjoying his standing desk for a few weeks before I put my order. I knew the product was going to be good (and yes, do it, add the hanging storage cubby to your order) but I was equally impressed with how their team handled tracking down my chair return. The three folks I spoke/emailed were all prompt and professional with the responses, and it was definitely a no-hassle friction-free process.

My wood desk top was damaged during shipping and one of the customer service reps, Jamie Claude, was amazing!! She was very responsive and offered to send me a replacement top and not require me to ship back the damaged one. These weigh over 100 lbs and would have been a nightmare to repackage and deal with Fedex to pick up or worse have to drop off at a store. I would recommend they use thicker foam padding in their packaging to avoid dents in the wood. Otherwise it s been a good experience and would recommend them on their customer service alone.

My desk is heavy but it's sturdy. Like others when it is in standing position, around 46" high, it is slightly wobbly. I think that is just my monitor stand being overly dramatic and showing more wobble than there really is. During these work at home times it is a God send. I frequent between standing and sitting on the Motion stool. I have one power grommet and it is handy. I did buy an extra power strip that attaches to the desk for just a little added power. These are probably more expensive than other powered standing desks but I would buy another in a heart beat.

Excellent customer service!! I placed an order for a new Uplift desk, and realized that I had not done the claim correctly for a promotional desk lamp. Abby, the customer service specialist, did a FANTASTIC job in handling my issue (which was my error), clearly knew her stuff, offered an easy solution to determine the claim (forwarding the email to her), and was an absolute pleasure to work with!! I'm excited about the desk and having such excellent customer service! She is an outstanding representative for Uplift.

So after conducting extensive research, I decided to purchase an Uplift desk. I contacted customer service and Sara prepared a quote for me including current discounts that I did not see on the website. I ordered using her quote number, saved almost $100, and received my desk 5 days later. Sara also sent instructional videos which my wife and I watched prior to assembly. Assembly took an hour (only because we took our time) and was flawless. The desk is high quality, heavy so it won't wobble, and looks fantastic. I purchased the longest desk possible to have ample workspace and it has not disappointed. Thanks to Sara and uplift. You get what you pay for and I received great service and a great product.

The customer service from Uplift is far and away the best I have ever experienced. Both Laura and Alexandra were so incredibly helpful in dealing with something that wasn't even their responsibility.

Fedex lost my desktop and would not give me an update on it. Over 20 calls with them and nothing but relatively rude responses. Uplift on the other hand was two chats and a couple emails to get everything squared away. Above all else though, they treated me like a real person and not some number in a system. Alexandra especially went above and beyond what she needed to do and was just wonderful to deal with.

Soon enough, everyone in my family will have an Uplift desk and it is all thanks to Laura and Alexandra!

Not only do I love my sit stand desk from uplift, but the delivery is blazing fast. I ordered the desk, and some accessories which arrived in about 2 days for me in Colorado... Realized I forgot a few pieces, I meant to order, and got my second order just as quick, without paying any rush fees. The height is adjustable from super low seating, to super high standing(the range is impressive while remaining stable at that upper end), and I liked the amount of available options when selecting the right desk setup for my space. There is a pretty good amount of assembly required, just so you're aware, but nothing unmanageable IMO.

I spent $1k for lemon and left with not many options. I got an 80" Dark Rubberwood with a stain coating that cracks and chips offs (A replacement top because my first was not the advertised 1" thick and flexed to much. Uplift was awesome in resolving this though). The edges are chipping off from my chair (chair has plastic sides). I tried using an edge guard on it, but the adhesive then pulled off more of the stain coating. The rubberwood coatings are NOT very durable and the polyurethane stain will just come off. They will not honor the warranty and replace it since this was a "third party" adhesive, but a stain should not just chip or peel off from a chair and sticker. This is a poor quality product that needs to be avoided.

To make things worse, one of my legs keeps getting misaligned daily on the side my desktop computer is. This has gotten worse since I've owned it. For something rated to lift 300lbs, it can not seem to handle uneven weights. I'm in the process of moving the computer and testing to see if this fixes the problem, if not I'm going to have to contact support again. I'm beginning to feel like I wasted $1000 on a lemon.

Just got my new Pheasantwood desk and love it. The wood looks amazing and is nearly 2 inches thick. Very solid and substantial. I was a little concerned about the bark line front, but so happy it is there. Makes it much more comfortable resting my arms on the table when standing.

I got the standard V2 frame and it is awesome. Very sturdy and solid and the movement and motor are smooth as silk. I ended up getting the advanced wire management kit and really like the outlet strip they provided. I decided to hot glue the strip into the plastic wire wrangler. Worked great and all the wires are out of the way.

I order one power outlet grommet and one regular in order to be able to pass some wires through. I wish the pictures and description would have been clearer. The power grommet also has a small wire pass though. I would have much preferred to have both as power grommets. Maybe I will order another later.

I would like to give a shout out to Rachel H too. I called about status and a couple of other items and she was very responsive and just awesome. Great customer service and great product!

Matt S., the Sales and Customer Service Associate at Uplift, made the entire process a great experience and gave me some great suggestions on my final configuration. I just wanted to thank you for the great service I received when ordering my UpLift 900 desk. Not only were my questions about the order answered quickly and accurately when I called in to customer service, but the entire online process was superb. I received multiple notices about my delivery method and delivery dates. The desk arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. The packaging was protective and efficient. And the delivery service here in Philadelphia - R&L - was prompt and helpful. Finally, the desk itself was easy to assemble and is exactly as described.

Just had a great customer service experience with Jamie from Uplift. After waiting months for my desk to come, it finally arrived! I put the desk together only to realize that I was sent the wrong desk legs. Very disappointing considering I had waited for almost 2.5 months to get the desk delivered to me and then it sat at the FedEx warehouse for another week. Thank goodness I spoke with Jamie from Uplift who was extremely helpful and was able to turn around a frustrating and disappointing experience. Jamie was very calm, patient and listened to me and was able to send out the correct legs right away. Jamie also helped me with a couple of order mishaps. Jamie's excellent customer service was great and Uplift is lucky to have Jamie on their team!

Putting the desk together was fairly simple, but unfortunately I installed the leg connectors into the opposite ports on the control box, which meant the desk wouldn't work. I was able to chat with Cary at Uplift and he sent out a new control box and legs and detailed instructions on how not to make the same mistake twice. All of this at no cost to me. I was able to quickly replace the legs/control box and get the desk up and running. A terrific desk made better by outstanding customer service.

Awesome selection of office and ergonomic goods. Adjustable height desks, chairs and input devices. They also have exercise while you work devices like walking treadmills and bicycles. The Uplift desks can be configured in a variety of lengths and materials. I have a desk purchased a few years ago and the electronics were on the fritz. They shipped me a new control unit and interface very quickly. Great customer service, highly recommended!

CONS
- The product I ordered required delivery by wooden pallet due to its size. I was advised that the pallet "can easily be broken down". Some parts of the pallet could be broken down. However, there are also several large pieces of wood that cannot; they are still sitting in my garage months later as I try to figure out how to dispose of them. Most likely will require an electric saw.
- Installation written instructions difficult to use

Overall, the product itself is good. The customer experience could be improved though per above.

TLDR: AVOID! Terible customer service! They're charging $426.74 for refusing delivery of a shipment they shouldn't have made.

The customer service provided by Jessica, the Sales Team Lead & training supervisor has been terrible. This is the first time I've felt animosity from a customer service representative.

Here is the story.

I place my order on December 9th. From their website I see that shipping takes three days. "Great!" I say to myself, "I'll get the desk by Friday before I leave on my Holiday Vacation on the 18th".

Next, I got an email titled "RESPONSE REQUIRED". "Dang", I thought, "I'm not sure I'll get this by Friday. Maybe I should just cancel? No, it'll be fine, the email says response required. So, I have time to decide."

The email contained many questions that would made unsure if I'd be able to handle the delivery. So, I asked "I live in a residential apartment and ordered one desk. Is all of this necessary?" I never confirmed that the shipping method was accurate. Yet, they shipped the desk anyways on December 11th.

Then, I received a call on Monday, December 16th, two days before my flight about delivery. I could not take delivery as that would require my taking of work, the day before I leave which was not possible. So, I refused shipment.

I communicated this to Jessica, the sales team lead. Throughout my interaction with her, I felt like there was some animosity towards me and she was overwhelmingly aggressive. For example in our customer service exchange (email photo attached) she said, "The cost for refusing your shipment will be $426.74. Cheers," That 'Cheers' is very passive aggressive.

This is all unfortunate because the desk shouldn't have shipped in the first place because I was told, through email, "We are unable to process and ship your order until you reply to this email and confirm that the shipping method is accurate." I never confirmed that the shipping method was accurate. The desk should have never shipped. And I should not be charged 75% the cost of a standing desk for a delivery I could not make, for a shipment, that shouldn't have shipped.

0/5 stars. Terrible customer service experience. I strongly recommend against doing business with this company.

The high quality of The Human Solution ergonomic product line is enhanced by unparalleled customer service of the highest caliber. I was so impressed with the way the Anderson Ln location handled a minor warranty concern I had recently. These guys went way out of their way to track down a discontinued part, had it shipped directly to my home, and were available to walk me through installation over the phone. That level of integrity breeds loyal customers....and I would absolutely consider myself one, at this point.

I called on a Friday (super last minute) and was driving through Austin that night and really needed to pickup two standing desks from them and only had a small window of time. Mike made things happen quick and got everything I needed together exact to my specifications and they had it all ready within a few hours for me to pickup on my journey from DFW through Austin to Houston. They even helped me load it in my Honda Accord, which barely fit everything in there with my travel luggage. These guys rock and my Uplift 900 is dope. Super quality. I love hitting the button to raise and lower the desk for fun. Get one. Now. Go.

This is a review of the Ergonomic Kneeling Chair and customer service from Uplift. I purchased this chair to help with hip and back pain and all I can say is WOW. I had read reviews stating it takes some time to get acclimated to it, but I used it for 9 hours on the first day without any issues at all - in fact, I haven't used my regular desk chair since. The assembly was easy and the configuration of the chair means you can actually change your position from kneeling to perching to regular sitting with ease and my back has never felt better. The material is hardy and it took my shins about 2-3 days to get used to the pressure but now I don't even notice it. The padding is firm without being uncomfortable and I feel like the chair is built for longevity. I'm beyond impressed!

What sealed the deal for me was the customer service. My first order was marked delivered by FedEx but never showed up. I contacted customer service who promptly got back to me within 24 hours, and within a few days they had a replacement on the way. I'd like to especially call out Will, who was a pleasure to work with and really made the entire process painless. With customer service like this, I won't hesitate to try other Uplift products in the future - you've made a customer for life!

I ordered one of Uplift Desk's chairs from their website while their store was closed due to COVID. It was a nice chair but after a week I decided it wan't a good fit for me and requested a return. True to their policy, they agreed without issue and sent a return label. Dismantling the base without damaging it proved difficult and when I emailed them about what I had tried so far they were very understanding. Instead of copy-pasting a set of instructions that covered steps I had already taken they provided an agreeable solution and completed my return. While the product I ordered wasn't for me, working with Uplift Desk was a positive experience. One that I will not quickly forget. Give them a shot if you like what you see. Thank you Ray and Tim!

We bought 9 desks from Uplift. Six L-shaped and 3- desk converters. We love them. I give Marcus Brent our sales rep a 10/10! He was great and helped every step of the way.

We bought the Rubber wood natural tops with grey legs and accessories. It makes our offices look larger. Just a note, the rubber wood does scratch relatively easy even though its beautiful.

We had some trouble installing the keyboard tray system. Once the strap is cut and the coil is released, if it falls out of the track, the mechanism locks up as if it were welded together. This happened to us and we called Uplift for help. Kevin Walkup, one of their warranty associates, was extremely helpful in resolving our issue. They did replace the arm and the second time around in our installation we were successful. Great desk and good company to work with. We did get a youtube video on installing the keyboard tray system which was very helpful.

Unquestionably a great decision. Every interaction I have had with this company has been positive and has fully reinforced my decision to purchase with them.

When I had some questions regarding my order, I was put in contact with their Customer Service Rep, Matt Spivey. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable in addressing my questions, and provided the clarification I needed to feel comfortable. With larger investments like these, I cannot stress how important it is to have excellent representatives working responsively behind the scenes to make sure the customers are taken care of. Employees like Matt Spivey create the foundation required of great companies that sell truly great products.

Stop debating on who to purchase your new desk from, and order from Uplift. If you're unsure of what is best for you - just reach out to them directly. They'll make you feel comfortable and confident in your decision, and they will be happy to help.

I ordered a solid african mahogany top desk and added the optional crossbar. The quality of the materials was excellent, desk is sturdy and stable, instructions were well done with good fastener organization. I think this desk will last a good long time.

The only place they fell short was on shipping protection. All of the boxes looked beat up on arrival and all but one of the lifting straps had broken off; the remaining one broke when I tried to lift it. Unfortunately the one damage that occurred in shipping was a significant dent right in the solid wood top that looked like someone took the edge of a hammer to it. I steamed it with an iron placed on a washcloth for about an hour and remarkably I was able to get 90% of the dent out.

Adding more sturdy lifting straps to the boxes would help greatly as I could see my burly delivery person was having trouble with the ungainly box sizes.

As far as the chair, it's ridiculous. the flexible lumbar makes it. I sit in mine all day and have yet to have the back pain I typically have! It really is remarkable. I also love how you can tighten the recline tension. It really is an amazing chair!

Very happy with the service I have received from Uplift Desk. Ordering the product online was easy and shipping only took a few days. Unfortunately there was damage to two items in the shipping process but that is not Uplift's fault. They were kind enough to offer to ship out another desk top to replace the damaged one but I needed the desk to be put together for our home office so opted for a partial refund instead. After getting everything set up on the desk, and I am really happy with the way the desk operates, I realized the Zilker Dual Monitor Arm was not going to give me the range of motion I needed with the size of the monitors I have. After a short call with Jackson at Uplift desk I have a return item getting processed and two Zilker single monitor arms on the way. Very happy with the customer service I have received so far, you have earned a customer that will do free marketing for your brand.

Uplift has excellent customer service. I was helped on the phone by a representative named Kimberly Rogers and felt like my issue was properly attended to. She very prompt and solution oriented. I have had bad experiences with other companies and was pleasantly surprised to be connected to a real and helpful representative as quickly as I was.

I love my uplift desk I purchased, I've had it for about 3 months now. If there is anything wrong I would have to say the placement of the gromet holes for extra plugs. I put them in and the are precisely where I placed my computer monitor and my printer so I had to remove them and now they are in the floor. There really isn't a good place for them and I wish I hadn't requested them so that not any fault of the company.
Overall my experience with the company and with my purchase are great. I had no issues at all. If you are considering the purchase of a standup desk I recommend this company. They have several options and it's all about what you want.

Having enjoyed a sit to stand in the office for the last 2 years, I decided that I'd like my home work environment to be consistent with my in-office set up. Months of research, reading online reviews and watching youtube videos, lead me down many paths in investigating the many options that exist. I needed something stable, with height preset options, cable management, variety of sizes, looks great, and is affordable! If something looked great, it wasn't stable. If it was stable, it was because it had a crossbar. If it was stable without a cross bar, it was either expensive or ugly. After exhausting any available in-store option, I took a chance on the Uplift V2 which appeared to have everything I wanted, numerous positive reviews, and available at the right price point. The desk meets and exceeds all of my expectations! I went with a 48" desktop in the dark wood rubberwood with metallic base and this thing looks great in our victorian style San Francisco home. Assembly was simple, with the install kit carefully laid out with individually numbered bags containing your hardware. I upgraded the keypad for the full functionality I was looking for. I did purchase the additional wire management kit, which in my opinion is not necessary given what comes with the desk. Complete with a 7 year warranty, I'd recommend this desk to anyone in the market!

I ordered two chairs on 9/8/20. The ones ordered indicated an approximate ship date of mid September. On 9/22 after not hearing anything on my chairs I contacted customer support. Not to make this comment too long, nothing that I was aware of happened. I again contacted customer support on 9/25 and then again on 9/28 with various 'updates' that did no produce any results. On 9/30 I was lucky to get William as my customer support person. He was super polite and understanding of my situation and frustration at not receiving any demonstrable support. Within a few hours he had 'fixed' my problem and I now have my chairs being shipped in 3-5 days. THANKS William!! You were profession, proactive and fixed my issue where others were not able to.

I purchased the 72" wide Bamboo Sit/Stand desk with the dual monitor stand. I work from home every day and I am very happy with this configuration. I eventually added the Treadmill and have walking during meeting and while watching videos. The 72" permits me to have the chair side by side with the treadmill. The dual monitor support gives me plenty of room on the desktop. I have had it for about 9 months now. Planning to add an additional single monitor stand.

The UpLiftDesk has been my only desk in my law office, for the past year. I am so much more productive standing, and having the entire desk top available at the higher height makes this very efficient. During our move from the office during the 'shelter in place' mandate here in Washington DC, this StandUpDesk, was the only furniture I took from office, to my home office. During the move a couple screws came out, so I emailed StandUpDesk customer service. Justin, was there on the "chat", identified the specific screws I needed and offered to send them right away. Buy one. UPLIFT makes a high quality and attractive desk. I was able to design exactly what I wanted, everything arrived on time, was well-packaged, and easy to build. What impressed me most, however, was the customer service - I had to return an item that didn't really work for my set up and had help from Tim, who provided some of the most useful and detailed instructions I've ever received, and walked me through my return. Just got my new Uplift Desk (bamboo, which is beautiful), and decided to get the ergo human chair. Items delivered as promised! The uplift desk is phenomenal, and is about half the price at twice the quality as the competition (not that there is any worthy competition). Perfect example is the programmable add-on was only $39 with uplift, and was $99 with the others. All in, got the desk (80x30 with ergo-cut), monitor stand, programmable, and standing pad for about $1100.
