Its a good desk and once you get it set up you're in good shape. Setting it up is a serious hassle. Customer service was horrible. Sent the wrong items then nickel and dimed on exchange items. Had to pay to return items they wrongly shipped me. I'd look elsewhere next time.
I worked with Jamie Caudle to build exactly the desk I wanted and make sure that it met the requirements for my office. Jamie was very helpful in getting everything sorted out and kept me in-the-know about some Covid-related delays with my order. My desk arrived yesterday and it's working great!
Great desk, accessories and support. I was able to put together the desk on the inside of an hour. I could not, however, figure out how to get the monitor arms calibrated correctly. A quick support call cleared up everything and I now have a high quality sit-stand desk with dual monitor arms all for a reasonable price.
Beyond satisfied with the purchase of my desk and chair. Both have made using this area at home for work and personal very comfortable. Highly recommend!
I ordered an Uplift Desk in January when I opted to go back to school and decided to redo my home setup. I went with the 48" with the curve, and let me tell you, it was one of the best decisions I've made. I find my time at the desk is far more productive and comfortable than I had with my old sitting station. I'm almost always standing, and since I can move and shift around, I don't even really need to use the stool I got as well. When I'm watching a lecture or something, I do drop it down for the longer videos, and it is just as comfortable there.
I called customer service to ask about some different monitor arms and spoke with Sami, and the customer service received was just as great as my experience with the desk.
I've been telling friends/family/work about my experience every chance I get, and if you're reading this, looking for thoughts on going with an Uplift desk, you won't be sorry you did. Assembly was easy and the experience has been absolutely wonderful for me all the way around.
This company and their products are phenomenal. We bought the electric lifting desk, top, legs, etc. And two monitor stands. The quality of their products was better than we expected. Extremely well built and heavy. The first desk top had a crack and when we called Cooper immediately took care of it. We had a new top faster than the first. This product has changed my husbands work life. Being able to stand part of the day has helped his back pain. This company was wonderful to deal with and their products are very well made.

I was in the market for a new stand-up desk for my home office. After spending a couple week researching all the companies, it came down between Uplift Desks and XDesk (both Austin, TX based companies). I spent time talking to both companies and was very impressed with the customer service with Uplift Desk. Jessica and Cary were both awesome to deal with. I really like that Uplift offers a real wood option (Walnut) on this premium desk. The only negative is the 12-14 week wait for the desk, but I know it will be worth the wait. There are many companies in the stand-up desk market at all different price points. I would highly recommend to start with Uplift Desks!

Having a hard time trying to get someone on the phone. I called once yesterday and was put on hold for 10 minutes and then I called twice today and had no luck in speaking to someone regarding my order. Really disappointed at the customer service for this company. They have really worn out my patience.

I've had my Uplift Desk for about a week, and I love it! It's super high-quality and sturdy, and the bamboo top is elegant and beautiful, a real upgrade in my office. Mostly, I'm very impressed with how smoothly and easily the desk goes up and down at the push of a button, even in tiny increments. Even with a full cup of hot coffee on it. Standing at my computer for part of the day is truly a revelation, but I now see that an adjustable-height desk allows other options, too, such as sitting on a pillow or using a foot rest. Being able to vary my position keeps me from feeling stiff and cramped. I'm not one to write reviews, but this desk is something special and a terrific value, too.
Buying another desk today! My son liked mine so much we are getting him one.

Not at all impressed with this outfit. Don't be fooled by "free shipping". After you pay they will tell you that your order will come via freight (not UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.) They can't/won't predict when it will arrive, and YOU are responsible for getting the material off the truck (seriously?). If you aren't home when the truck arrives (whenever that might be), you are just out of luck.
When I ordered on July 29th I went out of my way to tell them that I needed the desk either before August 5th or after August 8th. They assured me that there was no way they could get it to me before August 5th, so they would delay the shipment so that it would arrive around August 10-11. When August 10th rolled around, I received a notification that they order had just SHIPPED, with no tracking information! After calling HS they tell me that the desk won't arrive until August 17th, a full 20 days after they took my money!
This is pathetic. It is 2015 and we are not in a 3rd world country. Get your act together.

Very rare to have a company both make an amazing product, and also have amazing customer service. I purchased my uplift desk a few months ago and have been blown away by the quality of the desk, and the quality of the customer service. I love that they make accessories for everything from lights, to power, to treadmills, and even a hammock. It's let me progressively add to the desk as I come across features I like (like attached power strip with USB Ports and the Hammock!) Really just a solid company and I'm very happy with them.
I was looking for a good standing desk at a reasonable price. I decided I wanted to go with my own table top and just buy the frame. Uplift has the option to buy only the frame so I reached out with a few questions on stability, price, etc. to their customer support. Tim R. was awesome at not only providing me answers to all the questions I had but also getting me a price I felt was quite fair. Fantastic customer service!
We ordered a Knoll Platner coffee table, which was to be shipped directly from Knoll. The base arrived without the glass top. The Human Solution got on it immediately. Customer Service from "Claire" was friendly, diligent and helpful. It turned out the problem was with the delivery service, not Human Solution or Knoll. Yet Human Solution followed through. We got the glass top exactly on the day it was promised, and Claire even followed up a week later to be sure everything was satisfactory. Very impressive. I would order from them again.
I ordered two of the adjustable desks as well as a LifeSpan TR1200 walking treadmill. The maple finish looks excellent, the desks are very sturdy, and the treadmill fits and works wonderfully with the desks (I'm nearing Mile 3 today as I write this). I highly recommend it.
One item I had to think about closely...I'm 6'3" and I was worried the desks wouldn't go high enough while I was standing on the treadmill (another 4" lift). I use them at their highest setting when I'm walking and it is comfortable. However, if I were a few inches taller, I don't think it would work.
I called to ask a few questions on the solid wood mesquite Uplift V2 commercial C-Frame. The person I worked with, Justin Alvarado, was amazing. He was professional, friendly, honest and went above and beyond answering all my questions. He offered to enter my order (so I wouldn't have to configure it on the website) and worked to get me the best deal on this custom configuration. I would HIGHLY recommend ordering through their customer service if you have the time - ask for Justin A. Now the hard part...waiting for my desk to arrive :).
HORRIBLE Customer Service after the sale. Been trying to get a resolution to my custom wood desk for two months, with practically no response.
Products seem good but pray you don't have a problem.
Update - After much effort Human Solution finally got it together and took my issue seriously, once that occurred, they quickly and efficiently picked up my desk took it back, properly refinished it, and returned it to my house at no expense. So in the end, I have a great desk I am happy with, but it took way more effort than it should have to get there.
I can't say enough how great my experience has been so far with Uplift's customer service team. I worked with Cary Anderson from the sales team over several weeks. Talk about ON the ball. Was shipped a highly customized desk in a short amount of time, even during a pandemic. Unfortunately, the desktop came broken (by shipping). Customer service was able to view pictures and videos and ship me out a new desktop in less than 24 hours. Jordan McFeders from customer service helped me out a ton through this process. I highly recommend him and Uplift. The desk is amazing, holds 4 monitors, a PC, and a 81 key piano underneath. Fantastic quality.

Received notification that my desk was back ordered and wanted to see if I could change it to something that would ship sooner. I also wanted to add casters to my order. Jordan was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was able to help me change the table top, add casters and answered all my questions. He emailed the order changes quickly (within minutes) and confirmed that they had everything set after I paid for the extra changes. Thank you for knowing your stuff and getting it done! Ordering Process Unclear: When ordering, It was a bit confusing as to what accessories came with and what additional options I might need as I was planning on using my own desk top. If you have questions, I would contact HS prior to ordering.
30 Return Policy: Because I was using my own top and I was uncertain about what accessories I would need, I ended up with a few extra parts. Watch your "30 Day Return Policy", they are serious about the 30 days!
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the product and I was able to work out my return of extra accessories.

We ordered an Uplift V2 desk ...
1. Delivery was very quick. Ordered Thursday evening, arrived noon, Tuesday.
2. Packaging was very sturdy and well thought out. I particularly liked how all of the different types of screws, washers, etc. were in individual, but connected, packages marked with the corresponding number of the instruction for which they were intended.
3. The written instructions are good, and would have been better if I had read them through first ;) or looked at the video again ....
4. The frame is solid. Beautifully designed and made.
5. The electrical parts work smoothly, quietly, and well.
6. The desktop (bamboo in our case) was unmarked (again, great packaging) and beautiful.
7. Everything went together easily, all the screw and bolt holes were where they needed to be.
8. When assembled, the desk was solid and extremely stable, at all heights.
9. The free "Motion-X board" (wobble board) is enjoyed by all!
Overall, a great experience. Well done, all at Human Solution, you obviously take pride in what you do, and have fun doing it!
Never got a shipment tracking number, but that itself really isn't worth knocking a star off for. Setup was easy, desk looks amazing, and it works like a charm. I can go from sitting to standing with ease. Makes gaming more dynamic.

Human Solution Office Furniture: FIVE STARS!
Was advised on Jan 30th that the chair was shipping out. Nearly 3 weeks had passed and I had not heard anything. Contacted HSOF and they intervened. Shipping company called that same day and delivered it the next. HSOF was not the problem, but they assisted in resolving the issue very quickly.
Now, about the Knoll Generation Chair itself: It is very functional, probably a great chair for the office environment... I got mine 'maxed' out... all the adjustments, ultra foam seat, lumbar support, etc. For sitting upright (and most other positions) the chair is very good. Do have two complaints:
1. The seat cushion (and I got the Ultra Seat Foam) is not that cushy/comfortable. I'm looking into some sort of pad I can add to the chair. My keister gets a little numb sitting in it for any major length of time... which I why I spent so much money on a chair, I basically LIVE in it.
2. I like to lean back. I have a bulging lower disc and the lumbar support does not adjust low enough to accommodate this desired position. There is a gap between my lower back and and the chair backing when leaning back.
Had I been able to try out the chair first before purchasing, I probably would not have purchased. I feel it is indeed a well-constructed chair, and most reviews are glowing. It just does not fit my particular desired posture (lumbar support) and the seat cushion, even with the Ultra, is not adequate for long-term use.
For an office environment, probably one of the best chairs you can buy (I'm sure leaning back is not the typical office posture), but for long sitting sessions at home... doesn't work for me.
Advice for redesign: Somehow change the chair to allow for lumbar support when leaning back. Seat cushion needs more padding. Just my 2 cents.
Being 6'3" made finding a good sit/stand desk difficult. Others often didn't go high enough to be comfortable. This desk is perfect. Excellent custom service and quick shipping to boot.
Customer service was amazing! Abby was so helpful about any questions I had. I am extremely satisfied with the desk I bought.The desk setup was a breeze with the video tutorial and instruction manual they provide with the desk.
These UpLift desks are good quality, and UpLift has great customer service. We have ordered and assembled 8 of the UpLift V2 Standing Desks. The instructions and assembly are intuitive. If you are adding the keyboard tray, the desk takes around 2 to 2.5 hours to assemble.

I ordered a 24x48 Standing Desk on June 16th, 2020 and was given a 3 week delivery. My delivery has been pushed back 3 times and is now scheduled for October 27th, 2020. 19 weeks from the time of order. Uplift was able to send me the legs but, to date, has not been able to provide the top. When I contacted Uplift, they offered to sell me a scratch and dent top for an additional $125 while I continue to wait for the new top I ordered. If I decided to purchase this additional scratched top, they declined to accept it back as a return when I received the new one.

I ordered an Uplift Curved Corner Standing Desk for my home office. I was also having a wall system custom made by 57th Street Bookcases (Chicago), and Uplift allowed me to order the desk top from the wall system vendor so it would all match. It is amazing. With two monitors and a laptop, I can do my legal work from home as easily as at the office. I am also a composer for the Chicago Bar Association Symphony Orchestra, and I have room for a 49 key keyboard, reference speakers, and the ability to orient the monitors to view a full page of the symphonic score. With the memory keypad I can put the desk in sitting or standing mode at the touch of a button. I use the MotionX Board when standing for a little exercise. I did make a mistake in ordering the pullout keyboard tray with the curved desk the keyboard tray got in the way but no problem, they took it back for a refund. I purchased their in-house assembly option. The person helped me plan the final details of where to position accessories, put it all together no small project and disposed of the boxes. With all the efficiencies that come with this system, I would say it paid for itself in a month.

These guys are awesome! I shopped a lot for a standing task and all of them seemed to have their quirks. That is until I ran into the Uplift Desk 900 which is awesome. We ordered two of these desks -- both with the custom mesquite tops and they are beautiful. Pete was really knowledgable and helpful in creating a custom desk solution for us. There was a lead time due to the custom mesquite top and Pete got our desks here four weeks early! Everyone we worked with at Human Solution was on the same page and provided great service --- quite the contrast to the horror stories we heard from other standing desk vendors. Setup was easy and the desks are just as advertised. If you are serious about a standup desk and and want a great experience AND a great product, I strongly consider you put Human Solution and the Uplift Desk on your short list. You won't be disappointed.

I am so glad that this is the desk that I chose to purchase for my work at home assignment! Although I do feel that the assembly instructions could be improved, everything did come together with perfect alignment. Refreshingly there were no missing parts!
The parts used are heavy duty, and obviously for long-term use. I ordered the bamboo desktop, and it is solid and beautifully finished. The design and workmanship are excellent, and especially impressive around the ergonomic curve. The surface is impervious to liquids as a recent spill proved!
Most importantly, the movement of the desk when raising and lowering is smooth and almost silent. The height adjustments are exacting, and the digital display provides immediate and continuous feedback. I ordered the casters which have made moving the desk simple.
I couldn't be happier with my Uplift desk, and would encourage anyone concerned about the negative health effects of sitting at a desk all day to purchase one. My experience with UpLift Desk was amazing from start to finish. From the beginning there was an issue with my ability to make a payment for my desk online. I called the customer service team and got Alexandra. She was able to quickly write up a manual order and confirm it with me over the phone. Later on, I got my desk, which functioned perfectly! However, the bamboo top had a decent sized dent, likely from shipping. I followed up with Alexandra with very low expectations of some sort of resolution. Needless to say that she and UpLift far exceeded my expectations! They shipped out a new top to me ASAP and were very apologetic! As someone who works in customer service in the financial industry, I can understand how frustrating working with client complaints can be. However, it makes me appreciate excellent customer service that much more, and that was exactly what I got from Alexandra! I'm about a week into owning the desk and so far the product has been wonderful. The legs move up and down quickly and quietly. After purchasing the desk with all the accessories it was a bit costly, but for someone like myself who uses it every day, it is well worth the value I'm receiving. I feel confident that if I run into any further issues, UpLift will be there to support me! I would certainly recommend to friends or family who want a great product and excellent customer support.

Cary Anderson provided me with excellent customer service. Email responses were prompt and even when i made last minute changes he was able to swiftly accomodate me without question. He made placing my order a breeze, would definitely purchase from uplift again just because of the customer service. I ll be leaving a seperate review for the desk itself when i receive it.

We were very pleased with the quality of our new desks. We ordered 2 sit/stand desk setups with all the accessories (monitor arms, keyboard trays, cord organizers, etc). All items arrived on or before estimated delivery date. The construction is solid and heavy and the motors operate very smoothly. Service experience was top notch. One plastic piece (half circle drawer) arrived cracked, but with a phone call and emailed photo, a replacement was shipped out the same day. Highly recommend Uplift, lots of options to choose from on their website.

I have had my desk for three days now and absolutely love it. What I truly appreciate about the desk and the company was the assembly process, which was easy to follow. Because when I first saw the packaging and all the screws and the instruction manual, I was filled with trepidation and anxiety. Much to my relief , the assembly process was easy to follow and well explained. all the parts were well labeled and manual was superb. 2+ hrs later, I had it all together and it worked right away! i was so thrilled! Moreover, the height adjustment buttons are easy to use, and the actual desktop is solid and firm. So far, I couldn t be more thrilled with purchase. highly recommend you buy one if you are undecided.

The showroom was well displayed. Found what we needed and we were able to customize the desk for our needs for just a fraction of the cost! Delivery was free and the installation cost was very reasonable.
Our salesman was extremely helpful and knowledgeable without being intrusive. He waited until we asked questions and then had all the answers... It was a terrific experience!
