I have been using Telsco now for about 6 years. I chose to go with them because they are a local company and monitor the system locally - evenings, weekends and holidays.
I have been so pleased with the service and the response times. When I've accidentally set off the alarm, they are consistently calling me within 20-30 seconds. When cooking, the steak i was doing in the oven ended up sending out more smoke than intended ... within 30 seconds of the fire alarm going off, Telsco was on the phone, checking to make sure everything was ok.
When family members accidentally forgot to disarm the system and set off the alarm, they got in contact with my emergency contact people (and tracked me down), asked if i wanted police response, and was able to remotely deal with the alarm.
I upgraded my system a few years ago to allow for internet-based access - the installer was professional and took so much time to ensure that i understood what i could do and that i was comfortable with all the features and the flexibility i now have.
This week, the system started sending out low battery notifications - the customer service representatives were effective, efficient and scheduled a time for a technician to come out which met my schedule. The technician arrived well inside the 2 hour window provided, called in advance to let me know he was on the way. He showed me how to replace the batteries in the motion sensors myself; gave me information on what could cause false alarms and checked/tested the rest of the system.
Every time I speak with someone from Telsco, I feel like the hear, understand and do their best to resolve any issues. Highly recommend them.
