Telsco has provided great service for many !! years. The staff are friendly and really listen. When there has been a need to address a question or concern the service techs have been great at explaining and problem solving. Really appreciate the service. Thanks!

From start to finish they were professional and a delight to deal with.
We had an ADT system that was getting outdated. Found that although ADT/Telus would offer us all kinds of things, it was extremely difficult trying to deal with and contact anyone. Sometimes the call went to the US and sometimes it was Canada and no one seemed to provide any continuity.
When we found out that Telsco was 100% local it was an easy choice. Everyone that we have dealt with has been excellent, especially Gene and our installer Nayan. The system they installed is a lot easier to use.
Very good service from start to finish I was an old ADT customer for 18 years our Old system with ADT went down and failed I called ADT service and waited for 4 weeks for a reply , anything , not even a call back even after 3 more calls ......zero luck !!!!
So I picked up the phone up called Telsco and within 2 weeks had onsite review of our security needs and had old ADT system removed and new Telsco system installed. Internet capable , and some of the best features I have seen in a very Long time.
And what s really good we had a couple of alarms go off due to our young kids making mistake on arming system and telsco called us in less then 20 seconds all three times.
Very prompt service , from start to finish , excellent fee structure and follow up, sadly still no call from ADT .....
My advise to all ADT customers switch and get to Telsco as fast as possible !!!!
Highly recommend Telsco. We have now been using their sevices for a few years and have had them come in and install a security system in different 3 houses. One call to our rep, Vicki Henke does it all. She responds promptly, and during walk- throughs is very knowledgeable. You do not feel she is adding anything unless needed. The techs that come in to install are very professional and have never had any damage during an install and they always clean up after. The whole experience is stress free. The few times we have had any problems with equipment Telsco is quick to respond. I always feel secure with their monitoring service and when we have had to call in you are talking to someone right here in Edmonton. Again, would highly recommend.

Great service, We inquired on a Friday and the system was installed Monday. Aman was our technician, we were delighted with his service and the time he spent with us going over the system. Highly recommend Telsco.
HONEST REVIEW. I don't write many reviews if any but felt the need to with Telsco. Had monitoring for approximately 2 years with them. Consult and install was great. Had an issue with doorbell camera this last summer one night- was flashing alternating colours and unable to reset(tried all reset options). was very visible so I decided to remove and not draw attention to my home. Damaged casing in doing so. Contacted Telsco for assistance and was told that they would not replace device because I had damaged It ( Even though It was not working) Ok, So I ask If they will meet me half way on cost of new one? No. So I ask If I buy one online for 129.99 less then their quote and have their techs install It? No. After 3-4 calls made and received by various employees, all unwilling to help me, I decided to take my business elsewhere. All of this hassle due to them not willing to help me at all, and fight me to the death on a menial amount of cash. To add insult when I call to cancel service I'm forwarded to customer service. They ask If there Is anything they can do to for me to stay but too late by then. I say I'm happy to leave on good terms, please don't charge me anything else. They say no problem. Five days later they auto transaction my monthly fee from my credit card! Was thinking possibly I slipped through the cracks based on how good things started out but after dealing with numerous employees I think this Is unlikely.
Have been a customer for over 15 years. Have had several upgrades as technology advances and each time has been seamless and done by very professional field staff. Highly recommend these folks. Really like the service that they answer the phone ( a live person ) when you call.
Kim did an amazing job getting us booked in sooner than later when it looked as though we would not get the system installed for a month after signing up.
Cam did a great job getting the install done in timely manner.
8 minutes from the Alarm going off to the sound of the fire Trucks! Fortunately I had a false alarm, but within 8 minutes of my alarm going off, an operator tried to reach me at least twice, then contacted my second in line, then sent out the firemen. This is the second time I had to deal with an "emergency" with Telsco, and both times the service was quick, professional, CALM, and the follow up / follow through was friendly and timely. Having the call centre in Edmonton I believe makes a huge difference to the timeliness. They just don't take your money monthly and forget about you, they provide valuable customer service. Completely recommend them - they aren't my first alarm company, but they will definitely be my last!
I would highly recommend Telsco for home security. Travis Sharkey (Sales) did an excellent job providing a security plan for my home and provided friendly professional customer service and follow up. Kam (Installation) also did an excellent job and took all the time needed to explain and answer all my questions during installation and set up. Customer service at Telsco has been great and the best part is when you call for information or help you get to talk to someone in person without delay. I will recommend Telsco to family and friends.
The sales, installation & service we received on 2 properties was excellent. I definitely recommend Telsco. Mike in sales went beyond his normal 8-5pm schedule. He accommodated our schedule & showed up in the early evening & weekends .
TELSCO has been our families home security provider for several years. They provided and installed the original system and also provide monitoring services. We recently added cameras to the interior of our house and as with the original system installation the new addition went seamlessly. The entire TELSCO team from start to finish have been outstanding. If you are looking for a security system and monitoring services TELSCO is the company to hire.
We were having trouble with a touch pad for the security system and called Telsco to come and check it out. They had the information on the system and new what pad I needed for replacement, they even advised me of the need to replace the smoke alarms. They set up a service call and notified me a half hour before their arrival. The pad and smoke alarms were replaced by a great service tech, he was very careful wearing a mask for Covid. I have recommended Telsco based on my experience with them. The employees are outstanding for great personal service.
Great support team and we have had no issues with our home security system thus far. Telsco has been quick to respond to our concerns and their techs are very helpful & knowledgeable. Services are quite affordable and we've recommended them to several of our neighbors!
Was contacted by email for a phone interview. Time and day set up. When the time came, I received NO PHONE CALL.
After rescheduling the interview for 11 am on June 24, 2016, I still did not receive a phone call for the interview. Upon emailing contact again, I did not receive a reply.
If this is how they treat prospective candidates, I wonder how the current guard staff are being treated.
I ve been a Telsco customer for a few years now and every interaction I ve had with them has been so positive. From sales and finding the right equipment to installation share they found the perfect solution for my setup, and technical support where they have been so knowledgeable and easy to work with, this is a great company. The other day I had an issue that I needed help with, and due to scheduling constraints on my end, I couldn t wait long for a fix. Telsco had a tech at my house in 30 minutes and solved the problem right away. Pretty sure with some other companies I d still be on hold on the phone in that amount of time. Would definitely recommend.
After being with telsco for 16 years, and reasonably happy with their service, telsco informed me that they will be raising my rates by 300 percent. The reason for this extreme raise they claimed was that it was necessary for me to buy new equipment for just over 3000 dollars , which would include 1 smart lock , video door bell, and 1 camera. After checking with other providers i decided to go with ADT/ telus. for 35$ a month, and they supplied all the equipment, that was superior to what telsco was providing. All of this for 1000 dollars. Telsco monthly fee was going to be 79 dollars. Two years ago, telsco installers came in and installed an outside door sensor and moisture sensor in my basement, both of which i had problems with and i called them about it to correct their installation, they wanted 180 dollars. so i made the changes myself. To summarize, telsco in the past was a good company, but it appears that their service in sales are both inferior to their competitors ,and their prices are ridiculous.
We have had our alarm system for over 20 years with no complaints. We only had it monitored for the last 6 years and are very satisfied with the service. Telsco always calls promptly when we set the alarm off by accident and are pleasant on the phone. We upgraded our system a few years ago and the technician -Patrick - was really personable, knowledgable and extremely efficient. We would highly recommend Telsco to anyone looking for a home security system.
We did a lot of homework when choosing a system. You will find that Telsco is on the pricier end for initial set up but worth its weight in gold. Great experience from getting a quote (the guy came on a Sunday to accommodate our schedules!) all the way through to call centre check up calls and install/service visits - they live for your service protection plan like its their home. They are also one of few companies that will work with existing systems - so keep this in mind. My only regret is wasting so much time looking at other companies - we are very lucky to have Telsco in #yeg.
Customer service is a priority and Telsco does this exceptionally well. The people we have spoken with answered our questions promptly and courteously. The upgrade to our system was done with pride of workmanship and we were kept informed of the progress. Would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a security system.
Gene was fantastic to work with! Telsco won t try to win you with low costs on a multi-year contract to lock you in to them. Instead they are upfront, low pressure, and prompt in getting things handled. Cam, the tech who installed my system was punctual, knowledgeable and treated my home as his own.
