Booked the hotel for a birthday celebration. The room was nice. However, had terrible check-in experience. The reception (a Malay lady wearing glasses with her hair bundled up) was totally impatient and rude in managing the room request. Her attitude totally spoilt the holiday mood and the experience at the hotel.

Overall stay was pleasant and me and my family were able to get a relaxing staycation. The team has been accommodating to my last minute change of the dates as my hubby had last minute assignment.
However, the booking at So spa was not automatically link to my le accord members even thou I've arranged the spa connection from hotel. The team said since I paid directly to the spa their system is not link. That's quite a waste for $1200 spent at the spa.

We stayed in Sofitel Sentosa for 5 nights -
The accommodation, pool, and food were great.
We had to change room during the stay: this was taken care of very smoothly by the team.
We warmly recommend this hotel.

The staff was nice but there is a clear lack of precision in delivery and organisation. Not acceptable for a "luxury" hotel even in times of heavy week end.
I short: things looked nice but were not

From room not ready for check in to coffee capsule missing in the room, to TV not working, phone not working, bed light falling of the wall, room smelling the "old air con".

We came here 10 years ago at the time of Beaufort and a few years ago and the room is almost the same.

The wine and champagne was not chilled, we had to send it back, high tea was good but took more than 30mn.

I was greeted with a friendly staff upon checkin. The remote for the TV was faulty but it was quickly replaced after a call was being made. Zening at the pool and the fish spa was a nice experience. Indian Food was awesome too. Would definitely revisit if my schedule allow in the future!

Beautiful gardens and a lovely lake side walk. Very well kept and although I didn't do it there was a buggy tour. Only thing I will say is the walk way was very short so not really worth the money seeing as you could go to the bridge and get similar views

Had a pleasant one year wedding anniversary stay with my wife. We had great italian food at the iL Lido restaurant and buffet breakfast spread was superb(except for the peacocks trying to steal our food..haha). Will definitely come back here again.

This property advertises as a resort with all the five star facilities a guest should expect. Potential guests should be aware before booking this property that the gym and spa facility are located at a separate address to the main hotel.
There are ongoing construction activities on the hotel site. The only arrangement the hotel has to get guests to the gym/spa is by scheduled shuttle bus which returns from the gym/spa via Vivo city shopping centre. Vivo city is minimum 20 minute round trip. The shuttle is also often used as a staff shuttle. There are buggies but the hotel says they cant be used as internal road is closed due to construction works .

The whole situation is well below-par and unacceptably poor. In this economic climate this hotel needs to lift its game substantially if it to remain a viable choice for travellers seeking a resort experience.

This is an awesome resort. We did a staycation for our 1 year anniversary, the rooms are large and luxurious. The food and drinks are also of high quality. We visited the spa for the day which is must do for full relaxation! Only thing I would like to see improved is some more staff around the pool and bar area for some more consistent service.

I actually wish I could give this 2.5*

I actually wish I could give this 2.5*

One word: disappointed. Sofitel usually is a safe choice but this hotel really shouldn't be called a luxury hotel, and certainly isn't a 5*

The good:
- Courteous and friendly staff, who were great
- The peacock
(Sorry that's about it)

The bad:
- Very very tired looking rooms. They looks like they're from the 90s
- Foyer / bathroom doors were impossibly difficult to open. I had to crash tackle every time I took a shower
- Asked twice how the new breakfast works, no one gave me a straight answer
- Pool towels were stained
- Food was average. How a curry / dhal / sambar can be bland is beyond me.
- Lots of small irritations that really shouldn't happen...

Very poor value for money overall. I should've just booked one night at the Capella instead of paying for two nights here.

The resort itself is a beautiful setting and all the staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. They also went above and beyond to help me with first aid on an occasion and I was really appreciative of their care and concern

Not really suitable for family with young kids

Not really suitable for family with young kids
The good part is that Hardware is ok, the room is spacious and quite clean, also newer compared to Shangri-La.
However, a few things can be improved:
1. Swimming pool not kids friendly and stair edge very sharp. The swimming pool is not as kids friendly as I hope, the shallow area is very small, and the steps edge is quite sharp that can cut the skin.
2. Villa des enfant is far away from main area and facility is just so so. I know it is probably for parents to enjoy spa and put the kids there, but to parents that are not going to Spa, it is very troublesome to go there. Plus, the building seems no one is maintaining, only a old lady there and who is not very friendly, more like just to clean the plan. The whole kids area no drinking water provided. Really a disappointment compared to other resorts we've been.
3. LeBar is very slow, especially in the weekend afternoon. We ordered our afternoon tea set around 4pm, then food only came around 4:30-4:40. First, kids are usually not patient when they are hungry. Second, it affects our dinner schedule cause we ate much later then we want.
4. Overall the employees are friendly but need more training on the system. We got charged twice on the same food, and the drink that manager promised to treat us due to some discount error was still charged. Of course they revised when I told them it was wrong, but it just made the whole experience not so smooth.

Significant disappointment:

Significant disappointment:
- Food is a big part of the experience, due to social distancing measures many items such as cheese disappeared. Pastry quality becomes the same as frozen one reheated with microoven. Dessert at the cliff are really really bad.
- Kids club was now limited to 45 min per guest per day and required parents to be present at all times. Even if we called and staff assured us someone would watch over our kids.
- 1h of swimming pool per room per day, with kids... that s a major disappointment.
- staff playing ping pong ball with you because they all apply a different rule and don t communicate with each other. I wanted to treat my kids with an ice cream. I was advised to go beside the pool, then forbidden it, then agreed, then forbidden again, then finally we saw the ice cream...
- The rooms / structure of the hotel feel worn out and poorly maintained. TV was not working. We called a mechanic, then it was not working again the day after.

In the end, I feel I have wasted my money. Big let down from Sofitel...

First day lunch took over an hour for a burger. Mine and my daughters came out but not my wife's meal. It took another 15 minutes before someone came over to advise the club sandwich she had ordered had been dropped.
Reported fault with phone message light never fixed or advised. Also loose tiles in the shower some were fixed but still had others that were loose or missing.
Towels were old and frayed.
Cream/milk had to request three days running as was not replenished by daily room service.
Sanitary bags were not replaced which had an impact to my wife.
Free welcome drink was never claimed because on doing so was informed only soft drinks or beer. Would have been nice to know what was available.
Also when having drinks in the bar, my wife wanted to go back to the room but was informed by waitress that she would have to put the drink in a paper cup.

Absolutely fantastic! Definitely highly recommend as all the staff are sensational, very friendly and helpful. Huge thank you to Alex Tan who made our stay memorable with fantastic service, he organised our high tea which was out of this world. Wonderful memories for our mother daughter holiday

It was my birthday on 24 June 17 but I waited one hour at the reception with my sleeping child to try and check in. After the wait, I was told that I got to wait another 20-25 mins before I could check in. Hence, I left my luggage at the reception and left. I got a call at 5 pm to inform that I could check in. This is unacceptable!!!

Few weeks before the stay, I had requested for a baby crib and when I reached the hotel the first time, I repeated my request. When I finally checked in at 10pm, the crib was still not in my room.

This causes an unpleasant experience for my birthday this year. Very disappointing

The hotel takes a big piece of land, going to the gym requires a call for a buggy from the lobby to the gym. Wild peacocks and cockatoos can be spotted along the road in the hotel area. Room interior gives a nice cosy ambience, space is adequate, and most importantly the toilet is nice, bright enough and clean. Wifi available.

From the moment we arrived the service was of a very high standard. The Villa was a great place to stay and as soon as we were there one of my first comments was we will have to come back and stay again for at least a few days as we only stayed one night this time because we were meeting friends in Phuket for 6 nights. I would highly recommend this Hotel and your staff should be commended on their attitude and willingness to assist with anything we required.
Thankyou for such a pleasant stay and hope to be back!

Kerryn Sharpe

Was staying in one of the luxury room and it was impressive enough. Room was definitely bigger and nicer than other hotels that i have stayed before. Did not see much people around, so my husband and i had a nice walk around the premises like we own the place. They have nice swimming pool too. Definitely would recommend this place if you want a break from the hectic lifestyle in the city.

A few things to note: people with dust allergies to bring your med along because my husband kept sneezing non-stop even though we changed the pillow from feather to foam. Didnt request for a change of room because he stayed only for 1 night.

We wanted to go to rws from the resort and was recommended to take the shuttle offered by the resort as it was along the way but we didnt know it was only 1 way as the shuttle only pick up guest either at vivo city or paragon. We were ask to take the monorail and then sentosa bus 3 which will bring us to the entrance of the resort. It was still a hassle so we took uber instead. Maybe the resort could have their shuttle stop at rws too? Just a suggestion ^v^

We really enjoyed our stay. Great customer service. Attention to detail was second to none and everyone was incredibly friendly. Would not hesitate to come back again and to recommend friends and family.

Visited Sofitel Sentosa for the Ultimate Sunday Brunch at Kwee Zeen. Priced at $175++ (12:30-15:30), it's one of the more expensive champagne brunches in Singapore - but it delivers on the promise of a premium experience. Service staff are attentive, ensuring your glass of Tattinger Brut is never empty for long (if at all). Someone will even come round and expertly deshell your fresh seafood at the table if requested. The variety of food is expansive & includes everything you might expect from a buffet. Seafood, dim sum, carvery & Indian curries feature - but the dessert & cheese sections form the focal point so make sure to save some room. During December you'll even find wrapped gingerbread men dotted around the desserts to take home as a souvenir. Other complimentary touches that enhance a day at Sofitel; a balloon artist, roaming peacocks, fish spa & (if you're brave enough to get in a swimsuit after all that food) access to the pool.

Wonderful hotel with fantastic staff. Yes it's getting a little "tired" but if you want to be treated like royalty and relax in a quite oasis, this is the place. We stay here every year, got engaged here, even got married here! The spa is truly a wonderful experience but not cheap! Every 30 minutes the shuttle bus runs to Vivo city and resort world where you can catch the MRT.

Very well maintained hotel in a nice location. Room was clean and large. Bathroom very big with shower, bathtub and sink and plenty of space. Bed very large and good mattresses. Free extra bed for small kid was added on request.
Restaurants very nice incl. suberb breakfast with huge Asian, English and French style selections. Many stalls which make customs food/drinks on request. Lunch and dinner options in 4 Restaurants also very nice. Very large and clean pool.
Location also well suited with kids as staff is very friendly with kids. Gardens and amenities maintained very well. Hotel owned Shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes which transfers to resort world and Vivocity mall.

Only improvement opportunity: coffee and espresso variants offered everywhere in the hotel are horrible as automatic coffee makers are used (Franke though). Proper Espresso machines with skilled Baristas would be the proper choice for this overall nice hotel.

It was extremely pleasant to stay with Sofitel Sentosa. Location was ideal. Environment was quiet, room was clean and nice and service was superb. Only downside was that the lift was down on the day of my stay, hence I had to climb a few flight of stairs to my room.

First of all you have the the wrong name to this email address!
Your hostess at breakfast Sally was most friendly and charming she really set the tone for a lovely breakfast each day. The rooms were lovely but showing their age a bit loved the bathroom though.Because we are on an Island it would have been a great help to have more information about the rest of Singapore in the form of brochures of other attractions available. The hotel could lease space in the foyer.overall it was a lovely restful time.

As expected. It was nature call once more when I reached the destination. As I was too shy to reach out to the conceirge/reception for directions due to the urgency. I regretted this as the washroom is not easily located as there wasn't any clear indication or sign. But it was a trade off as the washroom is super cosy that you wish you can stay longer.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and quirky artistic decor. Great pool and good location off the beaten track.
Recommended for families and others who wants to stay on Sentosa but away for the tourist bustle of Resorts World. The resort has busses to Universal studios and off the island every 30 mins.
As a family of 5 we stayed 5 nights in a connecting twin room and suite. Nice spacious rooms although the twin did struggle with the extra bed.
As a Sofitel chain hotel it wants to be luxurious but they struggle a bit with basic stuff. On our relative late evening arrival our connecting door was locked and the 5th bed was not in place. We had to call the reception to fix this. The extra bed did not get extra towels, water bottles etc.
Restaurants are good, friendly staff and nice food. Their breakfast buffet is fantastic with fresh juices, omelette station, fresh waffles and everything the heart desires. We did have smaller problems (wait time, messed up orders etc) in the evening restaurants and an in-room dinner where they screwed up the room numbers so our meals were served late and somewhat cold.

Particularly attractive features of the hotel is a large amount of water surrounded by the colorful architecture of the rooms. The surroundings of birds, especially peacocks, are admirable. Bribes lack of noise, however, some distance from the tourist centers do not cause problems because the hotel solves the transfer issues.

We recently did a staycation at sofitel after the circuit breaker period. Booked directly with the hotel as they had a family promotion on. To be honest my expectations weren't met for the price we paid. The room quality is very average not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. Our rooms were dirty when we checked in and had to raise it with the hotel manager. He only offered to get the room cleaned which shows they are aware of the condition of the rooms.
Restaurant (the cliff) experience was fine. Food is delicious and service was bit average but can understand it was very busy. I felt some of the young wait staff needed more training. Pool area is nice and the team managed it well. Highlight was the sunday brunch but only flaw we had to call the wait staff everytime our drinks were finished. Free flow lunch means staff should keep an eye on each table.
I will definitely come back to the restaurant for food but not for stay. Sofitel Sentosa team please pick up your game.

Sofitel Sentosa has nice facilities and infrastructure however, the service and food leave much to be desired given the high price point and luxury marketing of the hotel. There are a lot of missed opportunities that Sofitel could have tapped on to enhance customer experience.

Wonderful and friendly Front Desk & Conceige service with polite & helpful Housekeeping staff but we were disappointed with the frayed & torn bedsheet & pillow cases with a missing wardrobe handle, which affected our 5-star stay at Sofitel.
As a Sofitel Accor member, it would have been nice if a little more effort was shown to us when we informed Front Desk that it was our 30th Wedding Anniversary & our first experience, there.
