We thoroughly enjoy staying at Sofitel Sentosa Singapore. The hospitaliy is always great and the location and climate is very lay-back and relaxing.
Also the best breakfast you can find, variety and quality, first class.
Nice resort. Loved it when we saw a peacock roaming freely within the hotel grounds. Definitely a great place to unwind and relax.
Beautiful ambience. Had family dinner at The Cliff. Everyone enjoyed the food very much. Great menu selection prepared with fresh quality ingredients. 3 cheers to the Exe Chef & his team. Wish Mains portion was slightly bigger would be appreciated.

If I could give a minus star rating etc. and still have not received a response to our email, three weeks later....
So disappointed about our recent visit to Sofitel and Spa for couples massage package, a very special occasion which we looked forward to immensely. Whilst we understand current circumstances restrict some service, the condition of the SoSpa was unacceptable: uneven and broken flooring, buckets scattered to collect rain leaking through the roof and the 'jacuzzi' was broken, we had to turn off to hear ourselves talk. Massages were lacklustre. The disaster continued when we were transported to the hotel for champagne and canapes. We were initially ignored at The Cliff restaurant, then told to sit down anywhere, when we attempted to sit down we were regarded as a huge inconvenience by a senior staff member who scolded us, instructing that we return to the entrance until we were asked to be seated. The restaurant appeared to be in utter chaos with staff moving tables and chairs in amongst diners. The 'canapes' were deep fried and very old calamari.. inedible. To say it was a shambolic experience would be an understatement. We left with a very poor impression of Sofitel: a completely unpleasant and costly experience. I would definitely look elsewhere to spend your time and money.
It was great!! Peaceful quiet. Only thing is the usage of the illy could have been better illustrated.
Had a fantastic room service by Tommy. He was very detailed, and assure that the stay was great n above expectations. Very smiling and very helpful .
Check in and out by the same lady was fantastic too. She recognize my daughter's and very personalized with her service.

This is my 3rd or 4th stay here and every time is wonderful. Great location away from the busy city area and near the nature. Lots of attraction in Sentosa to past time. Travelling to city is easy.

Overall trip was exceedingly pleasant. Room as very comfortable, room service was good, dinner at Il Lido was splendid.
Bathtub was older and grimier than expected from a 5* luxury resort, but overall bathroom was well appointed. However not enough rack space or a clothesline to dry swim wear after beach and pool.
Pool was very nice but jagged edges on the underwater tiles on the steps pose a danger to small children.
Checking out was unnecessarily stressful. There was a conference checking in during check out time and we all had to join the same queue. Took 20 minutes to check out. At the same time I was rushing to catch the shuttle to Vivo. Thankfully, the shuttle waited an additional 5 minutes for us.
The Hotel was situated at the eastern side of Sentosa. Very quiet area of anybody wants to escape from the city. This is the place to be. Nice deco n scenery with any amenity.

Unfortunately this is a habit at Sofitel, despite a beautiful picture frame reality is well below with a level of service very disappointing.
Voice a list of the main defaults of the hotel:
. Small room with a very persistent stale smell
. Very few storage possibilities
. Everything is counted, 2 capsules of coffee a day for 2 people, minimum of product of sdb
. Very random cleanliness, a lot of dirt in the furniture
. Restaurant service of very poor quality
. Stress standing at breakfast looking for someone to have a coffee
. Very average quality of food
. Task on all pool mattresses and chairs, restaurant chair or bar
. Carpet stained in the room, as often at Sofitel (ex Essaouira).
. Unhelpful staff
etc., etc
Sofitel sinks more and more and is today far behind many other hotels in this category.
I decided to avoid the chain from now on

Reservation staff was bad and they are not customer oriented. Lots of room for improvement.
I am very satisfied with good service and pleasant and relaxing space. There are many peacocks.
Sofitel has a nice secluded feel to it, yet is conveniently located less than 5 minutes from the happening Tanjong Beach.
Amazing resort with all the amenities at the best place in Singapore. They treat you well and help you out with everything.
As it's located in Sentosa, you have most of the sightseeing places nearby.
The rooms are top notch and well maintained. You have a lot of recreational activities too.
It was a pleasant visit.

Tranquility +++. This is a large hotel but amazingly peaceful and quiet and nice atmosphere...an escape from the hustle and bustle a few km away! I preferred it to the W Sentosa which although more modern is a bit more generic. Rooms were nice but probably looking for an upgrade in next few years. Fitness centre is to notch. Service is good but my only gripe is that many staff seem addicted to their mobiles.. I'm surprised they are permitted.
My fiance and I were here for a 2D1N staycation and had truly enjoyed this lovely 5 star property! The ambiance and facilities were great, however, please invest more on your bedsheets we found ours to be tattered and torn, including pillow covers.
We also had a little hiccup during breakfast, where our table was being cleared before we could finish our buffet breakfast. Just a suggestion, perhaps a table card indicating that the table is being reserved would be a good idea to prevent service staff from clearing the tables before guests completely finishes the buffet service.
Overall, a great stay and we shall be back!

Beautiful resort with a great breakfast spread. Free shuttle buses to all the attractions around the island. We had a wonderful spacious room with a bath tub and a separate shower. Everything's perfect except the room has a problem with large ants wandering around but it wasn't too intrusive. Giant super King size bed was so plush and amazing!
An ocean of calm in an island- Sofitel is a great place to unwind mand relax.

Stayed with family of 4 in Junior Suite for 5 nights upon our permanent departure from Singapore. Great room, great facilities and great customer service. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Our solemnisation party ended on a marvellous note at Villa Du Jardin! Thank you to Malcolm & team of Sofitel for making our joyous celebration on 1st April'17 a huge success! Despite having a rainy weather, they switched to Plan B once they got the nod from us. The decoration for our solemnisation & the buffet set up were both still completed beautifully (just the way we were satisfied).
Malcolm & team were flexible and able to make instant changes when rain comes (especially so when our Plan A was to be outdoor); my husband & I were truly impressed Our guests were all greeted with smiles by the experienced service team who have shown 100% attentiveness.
We will definitely spread the good words to people around us!
The hotel room was great, but during my booking I had requested for local newspaper however there's no newspaper delivered when I open my room door in the morning. I had also requested for my room to be make up when I was out for breakfast at 8am but my room was not even tidy up even till I return to the room around 11am.

I visited SO Spa and the experience indeed lived up to Sofitel's renowned top notch quality and standards. Albeit aging, the spa's facilities and amenities are impressively well maintained. The hotel is equally exceptional and offers a thoughtfully curated and luxurious resort-like accommodation experience. Albeit on the pricey end, I didn't leave the place ruing a single penny spent.

Nice and spacious hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Sentosa's touristy spots. Sofitel provides shuttle services to downtown So Sofitel, Sentosa Cove, Resorts World and more. Convenient for families with children and those who want to stay away from the city centre but still want easy access to the city.
Need to prepare mosquito patches, spray etc if hanging out around the pool and water features. Very friendly and efficient service staff. The beach is rather far from the hotel site, roughly 15 mins walk to the nearest beach and down 132 steps to the beach front..
We stayed at your resort for four nights and loved our experience. The junior suite was quite luxurious. The pool was wonderful and large enough to feel un crowded. The gardens were beautiful. Breakfasts had a broad variety of foods and were delicious.
The resort bus to Vivo was a bonus as from there we accessed many activities during the day.

SO NICE! Service was impeccable, property was beautiful and beds were super comfy. Food was super expensive though. Highly recommend.
Overall it was a great experience. The bedroom was fantastic, bed was extremely comfortable and air con was cold. Only that our experience at Kwee Zeen on Friday night was a little disappointing.
This was our second visit and again we were delighted. Friendly, helpful and polite staff. Incredibly clean and well cared for. A wonderful setting which was peaceful and gives the feeling of living in a grandiose past.
The food especially breakfast was sumptuous with so much amazing choice.

I was impressed at place , location,and the room. However, the Break fast is not as great. I've stayed for 4 days and the breakfast buffet is same everyday. I am a traveller and this is the only hotel that serve breakfast same menu evryday. In addition, Peacock are cool but not when you eating breakfast. Coffee are not being offered once seated down, you have have to ask and it will take about 5-10 mins to get your coffee. Service arr below standard. Bird are very aggressive. They steal your food. Smoking area are to far and there is only two spot. The bar is great, and the staff are friendly. The service bis is great, save us from walking and taxi cab. Overall my stay is satisfactory.:)
Everything about the stay was almost perfect, only for ...
1) small hiccups at the recep where I had to wait a little longer for the recep to realise that i have already checked in online
2) the bed and pillows are too soft to my liking
3) I was not fancied to have a swim in the pool
4) could have slightly more reasonable pricing at the minibar and food menu to attract the guests to spend, afterall the hotel wants to make money and the guests want to spend

Overall, the experience was great. Unfortunately, I believe the size and layout of the room was a bit crowded, although this had nothing to do with this stay 'per-se', next time a bigger room with 2 bathrooms would have been much better. I appreciate your attention to meeting our special request and the hotel staff were very accommodating throughout our stay.

Inexperienced front desk, not customer focused. Pool is understaffed. Some good staff in the restaurant, some of them were from the Beaufort like the Manager.
Dine in twice in Kwee Zeen and the Garden for half price using Accor Membership. The quiet and serene atmosphere, beautiful greeneries , Chinese/Malay/Indian/western food menu and top it all tip top service oriented waiters.
Service is good. Buildings in need of repainting and maintenance - visible mold. Swimming pool can be a bit overcrowded. Coffee is mediocre - not even hot.
Nice and quiet resort. Room was very comfortable, a although there are some obvious signs of wear and tear. Restaurant dinner buffet was delicious, albeit slightly expensive. The BBQ station at the buffet is definitely worth trying. Food is barbecued on the spot.
Was expecting more service from concerige and hotel staff when arrived. Found the car park was a open and very small one. Maybe it's Sentosa so this hotel experience is rather different from the other Sofitels I went before .. nothing special. There are many guests there for staycation. Pool was overcrowded. Buffet / breakfast place was pretty small. Overall a so so experience and hotel

First time at Sofitel and not disappointed at all. It's surrounded by nature and had a serene feel to it. The rooms are a good size for two people, and the beds are very comfortable. Plenty of dining options to choose from. Staff is attentive all around and the stay was very pleasant. Will recommend.
Beautiful tranquil resort hotel.... with a lot of tropical vegetation and water bodies. Great comfy rooms and restaurant menu.
The breakfast spread is varied and fantabulous.

Room amenities adequate. Room was big, yet cosy. Nice view outside, with peacocks roaming around. But gotten lots of mosquito bites around the pool area.
The hotel is tugged inside Sentosa, just next to the beach front. Relaxing if you plan to have staycation and not leave the hotel. Otherwise, there is the usual hourly shuttle bus to bring you to the mainland.
Facilities upkeeping was very good. One thing could be improved was the room service - called the operator line to send to make up the room before we went to dinner at iLido but the room was not made up when we returned a few hours later.
Minimum service at concierge desk: when checking out, luggages were dropped off at our feet at lobby. And as we walked towards our car, passing in front of the concierge desk, with an empty lobby and no guests to attend to, the staff standing by did not even proposed to help us (although, at a 5 starts hotel, staff would carry your luggages and help you arrange them in your car).
Overall, I was expecting more in terms of service and attention as a platinum member.
If this is the best Sofitel can do, then management needs to worry, as competition is fierce and cheaper!
Food is bad. Location is out of the way. Aircon wasn't working and it was a super hot day.

Love the atmosphere! Our family really enjoyed there. Hope there are more varieties in the breakfast. Definitely visit again!

Great if you are planning to relax in the hotel. Not so good if you are planning to move around in sentosa. Quite far from other places and transport is not convenient. Nearest shuttle bus (B) is 10 mins walk from hotel out to the main road bus stop without shelter.
There were no issues with the hotel.
