Sofitel So Singapore | The Singapore Resort & Spa Sentosa Review

Lets start with the rooms, the hair dryer did not work, then the fridge did not work, the milk had gone off, other than this 2 issues the room was fine.
Dinning, had the brunch and breakfast, food was nothing near exceptionally good, the service was the worse I ever had, we had to repeatedly ask for service to clear our plates and ask for coffee.
Sorry if you expected a big thank you, the reason I had not made a fuss it is because the stay was complimentary or is this how you treat guest with a complimentary stay!

We were excited as soon as we drove up the drive to the beautiful fountain and lobby - Vicki in customer service had made our room extraordinary - making a special book for our daughters, putting a framed photo they had taken in their room and their names on their beds in petals. We were so moved by this personalised thoughtfulness. The property is stunning and we relaxed immediately.

This staycation was to celebrate my friend s birthday and also attend my best friend wedding at one of the hotel in Sentosa.

Before I start my staycation, I wrote an email to reservation team and requested for a complimentary birthday cake. With prompt reply from Idah, she arranged for a cake once we check-in to the room.

Once I arrived at the hotel, the check-in process was very smooth and professional whom handled by one the check-in agent (Sorry didn t get his name).

He was welcoming and delivered excellent customer service.. Thanks to him for starting my staycation a wonderful one.

I booked the junior suite room and once I step in I just loved the room being clean, specious and attention to details was excellent..

It's my first staycation after the hotel underwent renovation.. my compliment to the Management for showcasing the beauty of the hotel..

My biggest compliment to the young Indian concierge(again missed his name) at the hotel.. he arranged the transport form the hotel to wedding venue on time.. his friendliness and customer service beyond words can describe..

Overall the experience was wonderful and we had a wonderful time..

I am looking forward for my next staycation on September..

Stayed in Suite 360. Very spacious and comfortable bedroom, lounge and bathroom with excellent furnishings and amenities. Breakfast has a vast array of western, Asian and Indian dishes. There are enough drawers and hanging space to unpack and feel like home. All the restaurants are excellent as are the staff and ambience. The only thing missing are pool noodles as the pool depth is mainly 2.5mts with a cordoned off area for children

Just the furniture in room is old.
Breakfast quality is quite good, the only problem was indoor very cold, outdoor had many of mosquitos. Could not enjoy.

Nice and relaxed ambience. Hope check in process gets more efficient.

Great deco and facilities but lack of the Asian hospitality of building relationship and friendliness

Our overall stay was okay. Breakfast experience was very bad. We understand that there s still no buffet breakfast because of the pandemic, so you can only order one ala carte meal. However our order took one hour to arrive despite multiple follow ups with the servers. It seems they are very overwhelmed and understaffed. Completely unacceptable for the price you pay and their 5-star ranking.

The receptionist - at the start - was a little slow. I was there to celebrate a birthday, and it was meant to be a surprise. However, the receptionist that was serving me did took a little longer than the other receptionists that were available, and in the end, due to the short timeframe, the birthday party had arrived at the hotel.

The hotel is GORGEOUS, and the location is splendid. I love the environment and the feeling that it evokes, and the facilities and the hotel room is more than perfect - it was more than I could ask for really. The little hiccup was that there was some slight issue with the bathtub (it kept leaking) and that the hotline (forgot what it was called) took a little longer on the Sunday that we checked out.

Service is as expected. Rooms are slightly on the high side due to it's location

Was there for a wedding dinner. Free parking. Nice scenery of the sea. Cozy location tucked within Sentosa. Near to Tanjong Beach.

The environment is quiet, just like the feeling of being in a paradise
The waiter has a good attitude, often with a smile and a feeling of being at home.

The outdoor pool is perfect. Also, sit by one of the pools near the bar to have little fish nibble at your feet. It's a weird feeling but oddly therapeutic.

Amazing ... just because we arrived too late at the hotel and could not enjoy all the facilities provided by the hotel. Maybe for the upcoming stay we will enjoy all the facilities provided.
