That would absolutely make sense, if any of the "work" had been done before posting the Xterra for sale. The only damage on the Xterra was hail damage and that was not repaired- I can see it still on the photos for the Xterra listing. Again, I totally understand that Schomp BMW wants to make a profit off car sales, I'm not saying that it should have been purchased from me at the same cost that you'd sell it for. Buying it off me for $1000 and then posting it for $6000 (I see it's now been dropped to $5,500) after only detailing the car it what upsets me. If all the hail damage had been repaired, then by all means you can post it for whatever price you want. The only cost accrued and "work done" on the Xterra was detailing. I had only asked for $3000 on the trade-in which is an absolutely reasonable price for the SUV with hail damage, well below what blue book would have listed it as (I'm talking trade-in values here, not private party sale). I was still giving Schomp BMW plenty of room for profit with my asking cost.

I love the truck that I bought but I hate that I was walked all over on my trade-in. They only gave me 1/3 of the price I asked for on my trade-in (which was already well below blue book value and a fair price point) and they turned around and posted it for SIX TIMES the amount they bought it off me for. I chose to do business with this dealership specifically for their reputation of being fair to customers and I am completely let down and feel like I was taken advantage of. I understand that business is all about the bottom line and they absolutely need to make a profit somewhere, but six-fold is out of control and a slap in the face to me.

My service experience was enhanced by Matt Mueller, the Service Advisor, who kept me informed of the status of the work regularly. Even though the service took longer than we both anticipated due to slow software download, Matt was sure to keep me informed and offer alternatives to having me wait. Who is fired for such a massive blunder as to fail to make payoffs, damaging the credit rating of their customers??
Schomp had a fiduciary responsibility to pay off the trade-in and they failed. So much for being a full-service "upscale" dealer. Just more incompetent schmucks deserving of the lawsuit.

Could these idiots get any worse?? Scheduled oil change with loaner. Arrived, no loaners. Blamed it on holiday. Service kid said he'd call later and they'd come pick up the car and get it serviced. Wife called them in afternoon, they had no record of that going to happen. We were going in Saturday to buy another BMW as her corporate car. Not anymore. Can get better customer service from domestic car companies. I'm done with BMW, especially Schomp BMW. All talk, no customer satisfaction. All the headsets and clipboards mean nothing when you can't deliver. Fancy failures.

They sold me an electric car that they knew did not function in the Colorado climate. The car also stopped and lost complete power twice while driving on the 470. Cars were speeding by me at 90mph, as I was on the shoulder and had only owned the car for 3 months.
There are many employees that you may speak with. They do not care about you. They do not care about your needs. The only care about a sale and will give you any lies necessary to make that sale.

I learned the hard way! I took my car to another non-dealership type and THOUGHT I'd save some $. In short, my car was in and out of that same non-dealership for 5 months and my car was still not 100% fixed. Yeah, they guarantee their work, but how long and how many times will I have to return because the problems were not fixed or to my satisfaction. Several times I was without my car for a week or two and they do not provide loaner vehicles. Plus, they did not use OEM parts!! I finally gave up and went to Schomp BMW. Not only do they treat you well but it feels sincere. I almost feel like family. I have two cars that they have been taking care of and usually anything that I had worked on was completed efficiently and correct the first time. The Schomp tech even figured out why my car started with misfires and a sputter that the "other place" could not do in 3 months. It was not a tune up or spark plugs. Also, Greg Burris and Justin, I cannot speak highly enough for going that extra mile and putting up with some of my demands and always taking care of me! They understand me and my expectations and were willing to work with me! I am so greatful to have them as my advisors. One final note as to why I will not go anywhere else and why I highly recommend Schomp, my 750 transmission appeared to be going out. The advisor (I wish I had his name because he saved me $7K.) came to me and confirmed my transmission is failing, but his honesty and integrity provided me with options. He said that Schomp did not have a specialist on the premises to go internally into the tranny and that a second opinion with a transmission specialist was recommended especially because I didn't have $9K for a new transmission and the specialist can go internally into the gearing mechanism. It turned out that I didn't need a new transmission. Thank you to the techs, service advisors and Schomp BMW!!! I saved time and money and made several relationships with the staff. Because of this, I will always return to them for my BMWs' services.

!st They damaged my front bumper and denied doing so even though I had pictures proving it. I pointed it out when I picked up the car and I called the service manager and General Manager several times and they did not even give me the courtesy of a return call. The clutch repair was 3,500.00 and after 2600 mile it failed again. I made the mistake of returning it to them thinking they may stand behind their work. They now tell me it will be $9,600.00 to repair. So far I am out 3 tow charges plus 3,500 for a bad repair and and another 200 for the last diag, an additional 900.00 for the bumper repair and still have an undrivable Z4. I highly recommend going somewhere else.

5 days have passed since they promised to call me back to discuss. And I find it interesting they just denied the damage without taking a moment to look at the problem

My experience at the Schomp complex was fantastic (I was in the BMW building specifically) and I have not had automotive purchasing experience where there was less pressure. Jeff Fendrich was very amicable and comfortable with every question asked (even the obscure ones!!) and was more than happy to seek out the answers he didnt have off hand. He even helped me drop off my vehicle at a nearby relatives so I could pick it up at my leisure! Thier in house insurance (all state) and all in one approach to avoid passing you off to half a dozen people to finish the transaction is refreshing. They also did a spectacular job detailing the vehicle and no aspect was missed. Even while I was waiting on the paperwork, I noticed a consistent culture among the salespeople that was much the same and I did not notice a single customer that looked uncomfortable or "cornered". I also recieved a follow up call from Chris Sanchez a few days later to make sure I was still happy with my purchase. I would not hesitate buying a vehicle from them again or referring anyone I know personally to thier auto complex. 5 stars to the whole team at the Schomp complex in Highlands Ranch!

This dealership / repair shop is a bit of a conundrum to me. The communication and the efforts they make to get you into the store or the shop are incredible. The follow up after your service is done and getting you your car is also incredible. But often times I find that the repairs take way longer than they initially estimate for. I also find the shopping experience usually leaves me with a feeling that I need to be shopping elsewhere.

It seems to take an inordinate amount of time to get my car back and something is always wrong or not completed when I get the car back. I just tell them and wait around for an hour or turn back the car for another day. Why would an oil change, wheel rotation and cabin filter change take 2 days to complete? This last time I was called on the second day at 3pm to say my car was ready. At 6 when I came in to get it, the car was not yet washed, the tire light was on and the service warnings still not cleared. No attention to detail I guess.
On the positive side, after the second time through the shop, the work is done correctly and they give me a free rental so the time without my car is not a big deal. I have received so many "full car detailing" from the manager that I may never have to wax my car in the future

I recently purchased a vehicle from Schomp BMW. I was recommended and referred to Jesse at the BMW dealership from Benjamin Shemony. It was a tossup between Mercedes or BMW and after taking a test drive in Ben's five series I quickly realize that the 550 would be perfect for me. My experience from the time I walked in the door till the time I drove the car off the lot was more than excellent. Ben and Jesse were very helpful and followed up with me even after the purchase.

I purchased a used BMW from Schomp BMW three years about. During that time I have driven the car about 20k miles. Also during that time I have experienced 3 water cooling issues with the vehicle. My most recent event, without hesitation, was rationalized by 2 Service Advisors as "your car is getting old and parts wear out." This is my first BMW and I expected better workmanship. I can only be left with the belief that BMWs become unreliable after a period of time or Schomp BMW service is questionable. Clearly the customer service needs improvement.

Brought an older car in for warranty work (the big airbag recall). Car went in without any issues and it left with a brake light out and a wobbly airbag - both of which I'll have to fix (props to folks on the forums that post ribar DIY knowledge). Crazy thing is, the guy who brought my car out to me must have seen the brake light error on the cluster... Just didn't bother to do what any indy shop would do for free with a checkup. Their folks were courteous and facilities nice, but I don't think they care about anybody that's not paying $tealer prices. I won't go back unless my car is recalled again for a safety issue.
Edit: Reduced to one star. Schomp attempted to follow up to correct the problem - they asked for the car back, but have been disorganized with follow up. This would be a number of hours of hassle, which would take significantly more time and energy that just fixing the issues above myself.
Today I got a card in the mail from BMW USA offering on-site repair of the original warranty issue that Schomp struggled with.

I purchased a certified pre-owned 2018 X5. The same day I bought the vehicle when I got home the light on the driver side door didn t work, neither did the switch to open the trunk. I scheduled to come in and have it fixed. They fixed it however when I got my car back that same night it didn t work. In fact there was no light in the the handle now. Also, there were now scratches on two interior panels. The director of service will not take ownership of this and says they will not participate in the repair. Not the experience I would hope for anyone spending 60k plus on a vehicle to be treated this way on something they just purchased. Go somewhere else, as this group does not want to participate in customer service or ownership.

Let me start by saying that EVERYBODY at Schomp BMW has been wonderful --- except one person. His name is Chris Sanchez. And he is a sales manager.
I tried to volunteer some suggestion that Schomp can do a better job at helping customers understand on the complicated tax rebates, especially the State of Colorado by providing a little better research at Schomp . Right of the start, I can see he was not going to be receptive,. He stated that they were already doing "xyz" He didn't think there was any room for improvement. I explained the procedure was solved at Nissan and they were able to help their customers better by removing the State tax rebate risk. He said, rather arrogantly, that it was a Nissan, not a BMW. I explained that explaining the tax rebate issue is not related to the marque. I explained that if customers like myself can have less risk with the tax conundrum, Schomp will sell more BMW hybrids (including myself). At that point, Mr. Sanchez said We sell 500 BMWs a month .. , essentially rejecting any suggestion I had, or even giving it a fair listening to.
I do not understand how an arrogant,, closed minded person like Chris Sanchez can make it to the rank of management at a very customer oriented company like Schomp BMW. In the past, I had given Schomp a 5 star review,. I've had many BMWs in the past, and my experience all the personnel there has always been great, whether it was sales or service. But as long as Chris Sanchez is in management, I will not buy another BMW from Schomp.

The Schomp crew really puts on a great new car clinic, which substantially offsets the arrogance of BMW. They spent a lot more time with me, clarifying and explaining several annoying behaviors of the car that are not explained in the manual, such as fully shutting down the car by pressing the ignition button twice. David even anticipated several of my questions, so these must be common problems that are not adequately covered in the manual. I especially appreciated the generous time the technicians devoted to answering every question, and the Genius crew proved most knowledgeable and eager to share their insights with me. We had been everywhere and had a limited budget that we could not go over. As we were looking around for the car, Justin Albrecht came up to us and told us the one price, no haggle policy for their cars. I was very upset as the car was a few hundred more than our MAX budget. I gave him my thanks and stormed away. My husband, being the good guy he is, stayed around and talked with Justin a bit more while I pouted in the car. My husband and I talked about it overnight, and the next day. We ended up calling Justin back and talked with him, took a test drive, and ultimately bought the car. Schomp is truly a no hassle, no pushy experience. Justin was amazing and took us through the process. They allowed us to leave the car at their lot for about a week after we bought it, so we didn't have to hide it before her party. My husband was able to sneak away and go get the car while her party was going on. She was so happy! I want to thank Schomp and Justin for helping to make her birthday something she will remember for the rest of her life.
Shortly after we purchased the car, we had to bring it in for some promised work. We were given a brand new Beamer for a loaner car. In the 1.8 miles from the dealership to my house, I was sold. I walked in and told my husband that he was buying me a Beamer. He thought I was crazy until I told him to go and drive it. A mile later, he decided that we were trading in our SUV to get one. 3 weeks later, after Justin helping us to find just the perfect one to keep within our budget, lower miles, etc, we bought our first BMW, an 06 330xi. I can not wait until our kids a grown and I can get a new Beamer! I am sold for life!

for a long time and tried many dealers, no one would come close to the Schomp price.
My rep was Nick Sandoval, he was knowledgable, honest and fast. He took video of the car since I was out town so there would be no questions about the color combos, options, stitching on the seat Etc. I wanted to lease and he worked up the paperwork and all fees including tax etc, so again no surprises. I went for a 535d Xdrive - The car is awesome, and has un-limited torque, and gets almost 40MPG on the highway and close to 30 around town - But with the power and feel of the 550 engine. Don't bother with the 535i - No comparison, it is not the same car with that engine, the diesel is the way to go.

I purchased a vehicle back a month ago. It had minor damages that they agreed to fix. They fixed the damages and gave me a loaner. I took the loaner back and left my garage door opener in the car. I called not even 2 hours after me leaving stating I left it. (You would think they would check the car and if anything left they would put your name on it and give a call) when I called service was gone for the day. The gentleman that answered the sales department went out and looked for it and couldn t find it. He suggested calling on Monday. I called Monday, no returned call. I called Wednesday, no return call. And I called Friday no return call. I live an hour and a half away from this dealership and they even suggested me going back to look for it! Instead of someone calling me back and THEY look for it. On top of that I have also been waiting on a call from a manager because my temp tags expire in 2 weeks, and the sales manager said if I didn t receive anything in the mail they would extend my current one. I truly believe they are fake and nice to you to sell the car than once you need something that s not a sale, they don t care. I usually don t write reviews. They are a waste of time. But I spent $43,000 on a vehicle and all I m asking for is assistance for my temp tags and my own belongings back! Customer service brings customers back to purchase additional vehicles or even referring a friend or family member. Customer service sucks!

Very unhappy with my experience at Schomp. The commission should be based solely on customer satisfaction. Mo was my salesperson. Never responded to my texts; the X3 I wanted was in Indiana and although I gave a 1000 deposit, the vehicle was not paid for by Schomp until many days later after I called the Indiana dealer myself since Mo didn't follow up. I was told the vehicle would be here on Friday, then it was Saturday, then it was next Wednesday....blah, blah, blah. When I texted him he said he was busy with 5 other contracts that day........well, that isn't my problem. When I picked up the vehicle, Dustin I believe was his name, sat down and said a survey rating of less than 10 would not be acceptable..really? Gee, and thanks for the free car mats but that won't change the frustration of this whole process. Looks like I am not the only unhappy consumer. And finally, I am due a refund because the amount that Mo initially stated (which showed $750 going to Schomp--really? I thought no dealer fees) was incorrect and I had to follow up with their AP dept today to find out where the check is since AGAIN, Mo did not respond to my text messages (and his VM states that is the fastest way to get a hold of him, yeah--when the sale is still pending).

Typical of Schomp, only a half-ass job requiring my return another day to get it done right. Brought car in for Recall Fuel Pump. I assume this was correctly installed. Informed them oil was low. Oops, they forgot, only to find out 30-minutes out of town when the warning message lit up. So much for their inspection. Got call car was complete. Went to pick it up 2-hours later. Car not ready for pickup when I arrived. Multiple employees did ask if they could help me while I waited and I was offered juice or coffee several times.
At least this time they didn't damage all my wheels and loose my lug nut key - but the I just don't let them change my tires anymore.

WORST BMW REPAIR SHOP IN COLORADO. To be honest they are not even worth 1 star but that s the lowest rating you can go. These people are Rude, Mis-Diagnose your car and then expect you to pay absorbent prices for their mistake, promise to have a loaner vehicle for you and don t, i spent $500 on a professional wax and polish on my car with someone else, when I brought it in I told them specifically DO NOT WASH MY CAR AFTER REPAIR, it will ruin my wax and polish, they didn t listen and ran it through their cheap car wash and ruined my $500 professional wax and polish. They apologized but didn t do anything to fix, worst of all they didn t even fix what I brought my car in there for in the first place. I could write a 5 page novel about how bad these people are but I won t waste my time. ALL I CAN DO IS WARN YOU.

Would have given 5 stars but was for some reason charged for windshield washer fluid which I didn't ask for. It was a small charge of $3.09, but that's besides the point that. Apart from that, I was very satisfied with the service.
