I've worked with several individuals in the service department who were professional and competent at Schomp. This review is my overall experience with the dealership including service as a whole. I bought a certified X5 from them in 2017 and during the 2 years I had it, it was in their service department for 98 days. It would lose power and was "un-driveable" 6 times over that 2 years. Getting a loaner was never easy - I had to beg and ask for a manager every time because loaners were rarely available immediately. When it was time to trade it in, the sales manager matched what other dealerships gave me for the trade-in and acted as if he was bending over backwards. Predictable, shameful and shallow actions from the sales department. Shomp sold me a wholly unreliable "certified" vehicle that cost me a lot of time, money and frustration. I was treated better and received better offers from multiple used car lots. Shomp is not a premier, high-end, customer-focused dealership. Please learn from my horrible experience and go elsewhere.

I called to see if it was covered under a warranty and was told I would have to bring it in to determine warranty coverage. I also asked the representative for the tread depth specs at which they recommend replacement and he didn t know the answer, put me on hold to find out the answer, and returned saying that he couldn t find out the answer. Calling in was a serious waste of time and I will not be returning for any service.

Excellent service! It's actually the best customer service i have experienced from a BMW dealer after 20 years of consecutive ownership. I came in without appointment for an emergency repair, they took in the car upon arrival, we were treated for lunch and provided with a loaner so we could accomplish everything i needed to do that day. The vehicle did not have a full tank of gas when I left I didn't notice it until later. I filled the car up with gas as instructed but Schomp BMW was kind enough to refund that amount to me. Perhaps you may want to have someone check as vehicles are returned that they are full of gas.

Went to Schomp and found a vehicle I was interested in. I had a unique trade-in that the salesman said he would need some time to obtain a value for but i put a deposit down on the BMW. I had to follow up repeatedly with the salesman and over a week later the dealership said they didn't have a value for my trade-in and would refund me my deposit. I was able to sell the trade-in vehicle on my own and I called the dealership several hours later to tell them I had my vehicle sold and wanted to keep the deposit on the vehicle. I left a message and had to call several times the next day. When I finally got a call back, they told me the vehicle was sold.
The sales team was not very responsive and i had to repeatedly follow up with them. I ended up selling my trade-in vehicle at a lower price so I could purchase the BMW only to be told the vehicle was sold. Overall I was not impressed with their effort.

Where to begin...After having terrible service last month while working with Agye in regards to a deal on a M3, I made the mistake of calling back to see if I just had just had a "bad experience", obviously it wasn't a fluke because Rob Ashby hung up on me during our conversation this afternoon. Maybe Schomp doesn't like that I have worked in the car business and know how to negotiate? Maybe they would rather hide behind their "one price" philosophy where they can markup their lease rates and use BMW rebates as dealer discounts to fool unsuspecting buyers? Well, whatever the case may be, I was treated poorly and ended up purchasing a 2017 M3 at CO's BMW.
Rather than continue to discuss my negative feelings for the entire Schomp organization (I think you get the picture) I am going to plug Kimberly Calaway at CO's BMW located at 4150 Byrd Dr, Loveland CO 80538. Doesn't matter that I wasn't there to buy a brand new BMW...in fact I was there to purchase a very well priced Audi with very high miles. No one even batted an eye that I wasn't a high dollar purchaser. I was treated the SAME as everyone else shopping there. Evan, my sales guy, was nothing short of outstanding. Treated me like we knew each other like old friends! That is not something that is taught to sales people - that is good, old school character traits that will follow him wherever his life takes him! The service staff is also amazing. Very kind, considerate and down to earth. I would like to say I would definitely purchase from them again, but, unfortunately, I am not a BMW-gal. LOL! This is related to the service dept, I don't have any experience with their parts or sales.
Quality of work seems ok and the staff is friendly and helpful in person, but customer communication is extremely poor and looking at other reviews it seems I'm not the only one that feels this way. They also tried to push work on me that my car doesn't need at all.
Schomp is the closest BMW dealer to me but unfortunately I'll have to go out of my way to BMW of Downtown or Winslow in COS in the future.
Schomp will no longer be getting my business.
I have had my BMW in for service at Schomp twice in the last two months, for two separate issues that were handled by two different service advisors (so this isn't specific to just one employee).
Details, for those who are interested:
The most recent time it was just in for tires, so they only had it for a day and not 3 weeks like the first time. I dropped it off in the morning and discussed 2 different tire options as well as the possibility of buying wheels and going with an altogether different type of tire. The service advisor said that he would have the tire guy call me when he got in. Note that we had not decided on what tires to install or anything, as I was waiting to speak with the tire guy.
The next thing I heard from Schomp was a text in the afternoon saying that the work was complete and the car was ready for pickup.
To be fair, when I went in to get it the guy at the service desk that handles the payments was very apologetic and offered to remove the tires they had installed and put different ones on if I didn't want the ones that they had thrown on there, but at that point I was more interested in just going home than in waiting hours for more work to be done.
Also while it was in for tires I got an automated text with a quote for replacing the rear pads and rotors for $860. I don't have a problem paying for services that the car needs, but as someone who worked in the automotive industry for years I can confidently say that the rotors aren't even a little bit worn or damaged. I'm not sure if they're hoping for people to just blindly follow their recommended services or what, but to me that seems pretty shady. I was planning on having them replace the brake pads when they did the tires, but after that I changed my mind as I immediately lost trust in them.
The first time was for a warranty repair, and they were supposed to be getting in touch with me regarding two different things (not to mention keeping me appraised of progress). I never received the promised phone calls, and when I called numerous times over the following weeks I wasn't able to get through to anybody (the phone would keep ringing and not be answered, or the call would end when the receptionist forwarded me to the service advisor).
I finally got through to someone sometime during the 3rd week my car was there, and they said "Oh yeah, sorry, your car is ready and you can pick it up right now."
I have no idea how long my car was sitting there ready to go.

The whole experience really felt like a waste of my time. I did have a lot of requests for my car and if I consider all of them, the two and a half days required to diagnose my car was alright. Most annoyingly I set up an appointment with a loaner car only to find out that BMW's no restriction policy still has an age restriction, so for those days I was without a car. That was fine seeing as the age restriction is a state law, what was not fine was the fact that they wanted to keep my car for 4 more days prior to me needing my car back, due to them needing to order a part. On top of that I had to call them repeatedly to find out what was going on with my car and everytime I was told I'd be given a call and update. And that only happened once after I had already called three times. Only a few things from my laundry list we're fixed, mostly due to some serious overcharging. I know this because I called around to other mechanics and shops. If I'm being honest once I go back to have them finish fixing what they couldn't I don't think I'll go back, service was slow and unresponsive, and I really feel like not enough got done to justify it. On top of that the people I spoke to always seemed annoyed or irate, like they couldn't wait to get off work. I expected more profensiallism and progress from a dealership whose expertise is in some of the most impressive vehicles. But I imagine this is why people view BMWs as unreliable. I only recommend this place as a last resort since mechanics for BMWs are few and far between, but if you need something fixed go to the auto shop down the street first.

I was pleased with my salesperson, who although was new, worked very hard to take good care of me and make sure everything went perfectly. Unfortunately, when I returned to purchase my 2nd BMW, he wasn t there any longer. I am by no means a novice to purchasing a car, and am quite knowledgeable about the particular model that I was seeking. In fact, I knew more about the car than the salesman did. I was continually transferred to a different salesperson, I could never get the same guy to return my calls. I m no tire-kicker , I knew exactly what I wanted and was ready to sign the paperwork, I just needed a competent person to find me the car. Eventually, I had enough with Schomp s sales staff and purchased my new car at Downtown Denver BMW.
I decided to continue my car maintenance with Schomp s service department since they had done such a good job in the past. Boy, am I sorry about that decision I! I m not sure if they only treat you well if you buy a car there, but I have been absolutely and completely disappointed with their service department. It used to be that each time I needed service they scheduled me quickly and when I arrived they had my loaner ready. Now, I call in to schedule service and was told that they could get me in in about 4 weeks, and that they would have to shuttle me rather than let me have a loaner. Since the service was for a front end alignment that would save the wear on my tires, I felt that I would sacrifice this one time and do the shuttle. Also, I was told by the girl on the phone that it would only take about an hour and a half to two hours. I waited about a week from my phone call, arrived for my appointment right on time, but was then told by Chris that it wouldn t be done for several hours. Well, that s not going to work, as I had to pick my husband from the airport, which was why I scheduled the time when I did. Chris assures me that he will get me a loaner but I would have to return 6 days later at 5:00. Once again, I worked my schedule around my service appointment. When I called Schomp on the date I was rescheduled for the guy on the phone told me that I was only set up for a shuttle again. Hmmm... and it was already 6:00 PM. Well, that s not going to work... I then asked to speak to someone. Conveniently, there was nobody there. This guy then tells me that he is going to send a message out to all of the managers and that one of them would call me back right away.
Well, that was last evening at 6:00 PM and it is now the following day at 1:40 PM. No call. I then started trying to all in to the service department this morning. So far today I have spent in excess of 1.25 hours on hold with Schomp. I ve been sent to Chris s voice mailbox repeatedly (Chris s voice mailbox is full, I cannot leave a message). I ve been sent in to some random voice mail box, in which I did leave a message. I sit on hold for service, nobody answers and eventually it hangs up.
It appears that Schomp BMW does not need or value my business, and I will be looking for someone to maintain my new car that will treat me as a valued customer.

Where do I begin! Originally worked with Eric Graves who s communication was on point at the beginning. he expressed to me because I was not able to come into the dealer that day that I could place a $500 deposit on the vehicle that would hold it while we went through the finance process an approval through the institutions that they work with. I ended up getting an offer back that was too high for me financially and had to Turn down the vehicle. The communication was amazing he was able to scale back and forth to finance dept. communicating with me every half hour to an hour. Now that things have not worked out in MY favor & the commission is not coming his way the communication has been extremely minimal very rude and very short from every single staff member that I ve spoken to while inquiring about my refund . Now that it is time for a refund to be made to me it s impossible to get any type of communication and am being told the financial department is never available , I am being placed on hold and being hung up on I m being told to keep waiting even though I was told initially by Eric G. that the money would be refunded back into my account immediately! Even though I was willing to give it a few business days to deposit back to my account . The story goes on do not trust these people! there are sales people who respect their job and their craft and the peoples lives that it impacts and then there are greedy salesman who are only interested in what they can get out of the situation! greedy is an understatement!

Chris Leirer was fantastic, once again! This is the second BMW X series Chris has helped me find and in both cases he went a live and beyond to get exactly what I had in mind. I love in the mountains so a trip to Denver was necessary to complete the deal, Chris was most respectful of my time, he had all the paperwork set to go, on our second transaction he even fedexed the documents to sign so my time on the weekend would be minimal.

I would say stay clear of BMW or at least the service dept here .very unhaoou with them . They did offer a free car wash for the delay but I don't need a car wash .I need my car fix today as promised.

Asked them to look into our brakes squealing all the time and they told us that was how performance brakes just are (they've been squealing for over a year now). No one would buy a car that has brakes squealing every time you brake.... I'm fairly certain they are just waiting for our warranty to expire before attempting to fix the brake issue.

I have had 4 BMW s and this is beyond the worst service ever.
It took over a month to schedule service and get a loaner car.
When they had my car I was phoned multiple times trying to sell new tires. Living where I live, we put our snow tire on early.... I explained that but still got the pushy salesman rhetoric.
When service was finally completed the service advisor left me a message. I googled and their service department said open until 9.
It actually closed at 8.

I left several messages finally heard back around noon.
I asked them to drop it off since I live in Evergreen and had already made a trip out there. They said it is a 2.5 hour window.
A few minutes later they called regarding payment. I thought when they swiped your card, they had the info. I had to read it over the phone, because apparently that is more secure?!??
Another few minutes passed and I get another phone call, asking if my car could possibly be under another name. There is no way it could be! So apparently my car is lost....
Apparently you can pay for a car here but they have no responsibility in caring for it.
I phoned back to ask for a supervisor, nobody was available. The person tried helping me on the phone but kept telling me to calm down. When your $50,000 car is lost, you can calm down.
He was verifying my address and I m somewhat hearing impaired, and I believe the street numbers were wrong, and the street was definitely wrong. He grew impatient with me, over his company not having correct information.
I phone BMW corporate and filed a complaint. I have left a message for the general manager as well. And I m still with out my car or any idea what may have happened to it.

I learned the hard way! I took my car to another non-dealership type and THOUGHT I'd save some $. In short, my car was in and out of that same non-dealership for 5 months and my car was still not 100% fixed. Yeah, they guarantee their work, but how long and how many times will I have to return because the problems were not fixed or to my satisfaction. Several times I was without my car for a week or two and they do not provide loaner vehicles. Plus, they did not use OEM parts!! I finally gave up and went to Schomp BMW. Not only do they treat you well but it feels sincere. I almost feel like family. I have two cars that they have been taking care of and usually anything that I had worked on was completed efficiently and correct the first time. The Schomp tech even figured out why my car started with misfires and a sputter that the "other place" could not do in 3 months. It was not a tune up or spark plugs. Also, Greg Burris and Justin, I cannot speak highly enough for going that extra mile and putting up with some of my demands and always taking care of me! They understand me and my expectations and were willing to work with me! I am so greatful to have them as my advisors. One final note as to why I will not go anywhere else and why I highly recommend Schomp, my 750 transmission appeared to be going out. The advisor (I wish I had his name because he saved me $7K.) came to me and confirmed my transmission is failing, but his honesty and integrity provided me with options. He said that Schomp did not have a specialist on the premises to go internally into the tranny and that a second opinion with a transmission specialist was recommended especially because I didn't have $9K for a new transmission and the specialist can go internally into the gearing mechanism. It turned out that I didn't need a new transmission. Thank you to the techs, service advisors and Schomp BMW!!! I saved time and money and made several relationships with the staff. Because of this, I will always return to them for my BMWs' services.

There was abstno pressure on his part and although I didn t end up purchasing the car he was very nice calling me and provided me with additional information concerning the car I did purchase.
