I am thrilled with the professional and pleasant experience at Prestige Toyota and especially my salesman, Mike Chaitow.
I walked in, spoke to Mike for less than 5 minutes explaining what I wanted in a car, and in another 5 minutes, he came back and said he wanted to show us something special.
Instead of us walking the lot looking at the current inventory, Mike pulled out from the computer the vehicle I had hoped for but had not ever seen before. It was exactly what I wanted.
Everything worked out so perfectly that I picked up my new car the next day.
I highly recommend Prestige Toyota and Mike Chaitow to everyone.

I bought a certified preowned 4runner. The certified preowned checklist includes no dents on the bumper or body and a windshield free of cracks and dents. My car has ALL of these. The sales people skirted around the fact that the car was rental. The finance person even lied telling me the car was not a rented and falsely presented documents. Be careful. Read everything and don t trust these snakes.

The process was long and hard one due to bad credit of my own and they were able to work with me on my payments and interest rates and was able to put me in my dream car I have wanted for so long ... ohh yeahh, they also made the waiting experience great as we were treated to a nice meal while we waited for everything to be finalized.

Our journey to purchase a toyota Hilander began approx 1 1/2 wks ago when I contacted Greg Agnello on line I was told by Gregg that the price he quoted would be negotiable when we arrived at the showroom. I explained the car was for my daughter and she just gave birth 2 1/2 weeks ago to a new baby boy and we could not spend time "PLAYING THE GAME" . My daughter leaves 1 1/2 hrs from the dealership and arrived at 1:45, also present was the new dad, my husband,my 11 old grandson and so the games began. Heavy rains had begun. We were handed off to Luis Oliviera who did not do anything to make our visit pleasant, it became obvious to me that he was nothing but an errand boy who on 3 or 4 occassions walked away from us and went into speak to Dean Ciccarelli, who must be the so called closer for the dealer, My daughter mentioned to Luis that we they had to leave at 4PM, Mike had to at tend a wake for a close friend,Luis ignored these at least nothing happened. Dean showed up on two occasions , my husband and I left the dealership at 5PM my family did not leave until after 7PM and did not arrive home until after 9pm. Dean was aware that the new baby was only 2 1/2 wks old,he was aware that my daughter lived 11/2 hrs from Ramsey was that important to him NO, the treatment we received was HORRIBLE,I would not deal with them and would recommend that them to friends ,family or anyone else who is interested in a Toyota. To purchase a car should not take 5 1/2 hours, I believe management should not have to be involved in every transaction allowing sales people some leway . I am truly sorry we did not leave and my family was put thru this ordeal. Its now after the fact but Hackensack Toyota Actually was a better deal.

Prestige Toyota was by far the best experience my husband and I have ever encountered when buying a car. We have been looking for an SUV for a couple of months, and every dealer we walked into either did not take us seriously, or treated us like they didn't need our business. The second we walked into Prestige Toyota, we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who directed us to our salesman Mike Chaitow. Mike was very patient, and explained everything in detail about how the car worked and it's various features. Mike introduced us to the sales manager Kevin Cadena, who was also a pleasure to deal with. Our financial manager we met when purchasing the car, Ray Laureano, was also excellent. He explained everything with detail, did not rush me to sign any documents, and did not try to strong-arm us into buying all the add ons at the end. He described everything in detail and let us decide if any would suit our needs. Brandon set everything up in our car, and explained how every function worked. Because we had such a great experience, we purchased a Highlander that day. Prestige Toyota treats everyone as a prospective customer, with the friendliness and professionalism other dealerships lack. I don't foresee my husband or I shopping for a car anywhere else, and I will definitely refer them in the future! Thank you Prestige Toyota for making us feel the way you should when you purchase a car! We will definitely be back in the future.

I wanted to buy a Toyota again and I did my research. I found the car and went to Prestige. Although I lived in the Bronx, I went to Prestige knowing that they had a great reputation. The process was smooth. I never felt unsafe at the dealership, they were following COVID protocols. I highly recommend going to there and looking at their inventory.

Bad experience. Got off early from work (Monday) and drove 45 minutes to test drive a specific car listed online after communicating directly with the dealership. Upon arrival, found out that they sold the car on Saturday and didn't bother telling me. No offer of compensation for my time or fuel, just a weak excuse about poor communication between their marketing and sales departments.

Great Experience! Just leased a new 2020 RAV 4. Started with a curtesy call from Yani, who explained the options for the return of my current lease vehicle. She was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable in providing the necessary information used as input into my decision to lease another Toyota. Salesperson, Syed Jafry, greeted us at the showroom door for our 9:30 am appointment. He was very professional and attentive in listening to our expectations. He provided a positive experience in addressing all of our questions and delivering on our expectations as we navigated the sales process. F&I Manger, Mario, was very thorough and professional in explaining the related costs for our lease. At the end, we got the deal that we wanted on a new RAV 4.

just like east coast toyota , horrible. I bought toyota for the service but I do not know what has happened to service. over the past 4 years the service at toyota has gone down hill.
i brought my tundra to prestige for a bunch of fluids to be changed ( before recommended milage) the price was ridiculous and they did not do all the work it was in for.
i asked them to grease the drive shaft. the stupid service writer said my truck and toyota do not have grease points. at that point i should have walk out but didn't and explained to the writer that there are and i expect them do be done. You guessed it , not done

Amazing. Who knew one could buy a used car and be 100% pleased with the process. First of all, no worries about feeling safe during this COVID epidemic. Big, open, well ventilated showroom with proper distancing and face masks on all. And the process with all the paperwork was as easy as it can be. Very friendly and totally competent staff. And a great car as well! I cannot imagine why I would ever buy a car from any other dealer.

Rob Rago was very helpful! I really wanted the Camry but after talking to a few dealers didn t think it was going to happen. We didn t talk to Rob originally, but that didn t stop him from reaching out to make sure we were taken care of. He called the week of Christmas and we worked out a deal, the same night I was at the dealership getting my dream car! I would definitely recommend speaking to Rob Rago if your looking for a Toyota, he was great and made things so easy.

They are also liars and have the worst business practice I have ever had and I have been buying cars for over 40 years. Me and my wife bought our first suv for our family, a rav 4 xle hybrid 2019 and I can say that we could not be any happier. Initially when I was looking for the rav 4 in pearl white and metallic black which is a difficult and popular color to locate, I was lucky enough to find one at Prestige Toyota of Ramsey. When I called I spoke with the Salesperson, Tony Arteaga. As my first experience buying a car, tony made the process one that I will never forget. He had a wide range of knowledge about the vehicle I wanted. He constantly followed up with me each day about the vehicle and made sure that I was able to obtain the car of our dreams. He was kind and polite as well as patient with us throughout the process. He went above and beyond and even came in on his day off to show us the car plus followed up with us via text and phone call to check in to make sure everything was okay after we bought the car. I definitely recommend you stay away from this place! They try to scam you out of your hard earned money! We went in before Christmas looking to purchase a new car. After test driving the car and getting information regarding features, we went inside to start talking numbers. Aaron was our salesman. He started off nice and friendly, made you think you could trust him. We would later realize that's the worst thing you can do at a dealership like this, think you can trust the staff. After going back and forth on numbers, and getting our vehicle appraised for a trade-in (we were getting a hefty sum of money back after the vehicle was paid off), we were almost about to close the deal. That is until we realized how magically, after paying off our vehicle, the remaining equity gets added to the "new vehicle" MSRP. Instead of that money being used as a down payment, we were told in order for our deal to work, we would need to put down an additional $5,000, (a total down payment of $11,000). STAY AWAY!!!! Do not fall for the number trap on the paper, always write down every cost, discount, and offer and do your own math before signing off on something at this dealership! I definitely recommend staying away from this dealership especially the sales person Aaron Geib and the sales manager Tae kwon who is just as bad if not worse.

The dealership seems to like to play games. I had contacted them over the phone for lease pricing on a 2018Camry hybrid se with trading in my 2017 Camry xse . They got back to me with a payment for the lease not including my trade in, which I understand. Stopped by today so they can look at my trade the saleswoman over the phone had left early so I dealt with another. First they tell me it was not an se hybrid it was an xle hybrid. They said they could still find me an se hybrid so I was ok with it. Then they come back and said they payments was based off a gas model se.
Once I heard this I was pissed mainly because i had brought along my pregnant wife and my young son. This was supposed to have been a easy and comfortable process.

Over the last three weeks I have called six different Toyota dealers in NJ/NY area and visited 4 of them, but none of them could offer me better price than Prestige Toyota. Go to Prestige Toyota and find Joe. He is the best sales person who could find the best deal for you. I've seen many sales people that would trick you and force you to spend more money than you would have to, but Joe is really honest about the price and he will get the lowest price he can get to his customers. I would recommend him to anyone buying a Toyota car.

Consequently, not too sure how motivated I am to service my vehicle here. Would rather deal with folks who are interested in doing more than just making a sale.

UPDATE: Sales manager reached out to offer an apology and assistance. He then decided to ignore my emails, perhaps out of spite to my original lukewarm review. After 6 weeks of starting a lease and multiple requests to send my registration in the mail, still no response. Perhaps because we're in the middle of a pandemic, but the least a business can do is to respond to their customer with an explanation.

He guided me through the whole entire process of choosing and purchasing a car. At no point did I feel any pressure, which is important, and his honesty was refreshing. Our agent Andrew Eagle was not only insightful but efficient and diligent in his work. I felt comfortable and confident buying a car knowing that he was helping us. My first experience with this dealer ship was great back then Michael M was in charge of the sales department and he was awesome so was my sales rep Luis O. They helped me get my Camry quick and painless and even though my credit score was way less than perfect they still managed to approve me for the 0.9% interest! However when I returned almost 2 years later to trade it in for a Rav 4 Michael was no longer there but Luis was, this time things were a little different. Luis still took care of me like before, but then things started to go down hill because he said he could not get me the 0.9% as before because of my credit score. Well I lost it because that was total bs because not only had my score had increased by 200 points! I had an excellent payment history with Toyota Financial! So I could not understand why. So I said if I can't get the 0.9% then I'm leaving. Needless to say they went to work but not without punishing me. I arrived at the dealership at 1:00 pm by the time I was signing papers it was after MIDNIGHT, they never told me what my payments would be nor did I asked!!!
At this point was I was so tired and hungry that I signed anything just to end this nightmare. After a few months I mentioned to a few friends what my payments were and they almost hit the floor. I could have been driving a top of the line Mercedes for the amount I was paying. So after going through my sales receipt I saw a bunch of things on there that added almost $5000 to the amount financed coupled with the $2300 trade in allowance brought the total added to the financed amount to $7300!!! I was horrified and called the dealership and demanded those things be credited and they did however it was credited to the principal so my payments remained the same.
So now 3 years in I have equity in the car and I'm considering trading in to get out from this enormous payment. I was thinking about going back to see if things have changed but after reading some of these recent reviews I see things have not, so Jeep here I come!

I spoke with Cliff Montes, who was very helpful and friendly. I've been to many dealerships in the past, but he actually knew his stuff about the 2018 Toyota Highlander. When I asked about the nitty gritty details about the start/stop feature or about the lane keep assist, he knew all the answers right away. I never felt pressured to buy anything right away and he tried to get me the best deal I could get for the SUV. He was also very patient with answering all of my questions/concerns as well. If I have to buy a car again in the future, I'd definitely stop by here to see their inventory first. Rudy in finance was also extremely fast and friendly, it only took me about 15 minutes to do all the paperwork!

I have purchased/leased about 8-9 cars so far and referred anyone who asks! He provides excellent service and will not BS you!! I went to 3 Toyota dealerships in North Jersey before i ended up buying 2 Toyota's from Prestige Toyota. I ended up buying there because of their salesperson, Arsen Musalaev who was very professional and easy to deal with. He answered my questioned and knew that today's car buying consumer is educated in the price of a car before they walk in the dealership. Therefor Arsen made the process easy and got me the deal that i needed. Arsen gave me a great deal on a Tacoma SR5 for my father and i came back two weeks later where i got a great deal on a Camry XLE for my mother in law.
Overall i was very happy with the process and would recommend Arsen Mursalaev to anyone buying a Toyota and doesn't want a headache in the process. My brother in law is next on the list so i know Arsen will get me a great deal for him on a Sienna also.

Everyone, and I mean everyone was so helpful. If someone was unexpectedly busy, there was always someone else that helped me in a seamless fashion. Pricing the car was very fair and void of intimidating tactics. I explained the pricing research I did to the sales person and gave him a bottom line number (with trade in)...... and stressed to him it was my bottom line, and because he was my local dealer he gets my business if we could agree. My offer was very fair for both parties in my opinion, and I knew the dealership incentives from the manufacturer were strong due to the dealership being price aggressive and moving many cars for bigger manufacturer rebates. Outside of minor haggling ..... we settled at my price and we both walked away happy.

I really liked everything about Prestige Toyota, and I hope to buy a Hybrid Camry with them next year for my business. All dealerships today are pretty good with customer relations, but my experience with Prestige Toyota prompted me to write a recommendation that I normally wouldn't do ..... I guess that should tell you something about Prestige?

Extremely unprofessional and dishonest. Will never go back. Once the contract is signed and the deal is finalized, their unwillingness to answer your questions is amazing. After 4 days emailing and leaving messages, I am still waiting for my answers. I would like to say this is probably the worst experience ever! and I was a third time returning client. I definitely recommend to save yourself so much aggravation and stay way from this dealer. Too bad the system does not allow you to post your review without at lease one star. If it was up to me I would rate this 0.
I did contact Mr. St Hilare on September 22nd. He kept agreeing with the fact that I was overcharged $178.21 on sales tax and promised me will take care of it. He was to email me a copy of the check. Today, October 5th, I am still waiting and all my phone calls and emails are being ignored now. So much for the General Sales Manager. Wow!!!!!
