Extremely unprofessional and rude team including management. I went in with the intention of buying a certified pre-owned vehicle and walked out frustrated and insulted. The Sales person Javier was okay, but pushy and rude. The general manager Mitch was even more of a nightmare. He insulted and spoke down to myself and my two family members that came to purchase the car with me. Specifically stating, "How many more guys do you need to bring to make a decision?". I was appalled to say the least. Would absolutely not do business with any DARCARs dealerships.
Purchased a car back in December. Was forced on a bumper to bumper warranty because "my bank wouldn't approve the loan without it" so we cancelled the warranty after buying the car (warranty can be cancelled at anytime no commitment, or they'll prorate the charge after a certain time). It's currently May 25,2017 and I just received the refund (almost $4,000) towards my principle). Michael Max is the manager spoke to him countless times, he was of no use. But let me tell you that the dealership itself has some really good vehicle selections and I recommend buying from here just don't buy warranties and negotiate to the best of your ability and don't expect anything else. The salesmen are great but financial advisors are the ones who push the warranties and scam people for their money and then quit.
Communication is not good. Was in the market for a GS F sport .Not the friendliest atmosphere for Lexus standards. But because our negotiated deal didn t out work out. It opened the door for a GS F sport black line at Pohanka Lexus in Virginia. A rare find since there are just 200 made for America. And at a cheaper price And get this. From Virginia ,the sales person delivered to me. No charge Unheard of. So accommodating. So sometimes a bad deal can develop into a better deal someplace else .....so thank you DARCARS for my failed deal
This is by far the best dealership I have ever dealt with, and I'm typically a tough customer. These folks exemplify Luxury, service, and relationship building, something we all know is rare these days. Ask for Sales man John Lee, and is manager Eric, they were fantastic, and worked with us until we had more car than we wanted, for less than we planned to pay! You don't have to believe me but we now have a fully loaded RX 350 for what we planned to pay for a base model. These two rock!! Now for the cherry on the top, the service... Forget all the awesome amenities they normally give away, it was the fact that they went far beyond what I expected, in respect to customer service, that really sold me on making the deal as early on as I did. Heck, I missed lunch with my wife, was starving waiting for paperwork, and a fantastic soul named Simone not only offered me a snack, but brought me a monster turkey sub and chips, from the company kitchen! I was totally shocked! I've had a number of luxury cars, from Mercedes to Audi, they don't even compare in service and experience. I expected maybe a bagel max, like at the service center, but this was a whale in comparison. She fed me, I was sold! Toni the finance manager was a blast and super helpful in making sure we were all set on our way out, I really enjoyed the conversation and laughs! Bottom line, all dealerships offer the same deal, don't judge by that alone it makes no sense, so for me it's all about the service, and how well treat me and my family, and this place set the standard high. They can write a God damn book on how to treat a customer right. Best Experience ever!
It was the best Lexus experience I had. I've been running to dealership to dealership and had a difficult time trying to find the right sales person who was actually educated in their cars. Everyone at the dealership was very knowledgeable and friendly. Customer service was excellent. Frank Pangallo was the best sales guy I encountered during my car shopping experience and the manager Mitchell Patlock, the sales manager was very welcoming. Visit them and you won't regret!
Second time leasing a car from them. Not a single problem, everything is just like verbally agreed over the phone. No extra fees, no pressure to buy any extra insurance policy or something like that. Keep it up!
Hi my name Nina and I purchased a lexus on November, 10th 2020. I was very disappointed when purchasing a Lexus es 250AWD 2021. Yesterday the salesman was very slow and was taking all day to sell me the car. We did not get the chance of having someone to work with us and show us the features of the car! By the time we purchased the Lexus, the time was falling towards night and they did not take any of their time to explain and show us any of the new features in the lexus es 250AWD 2021 car, I came back the next day hoping for someone to work with me 1 on 1 to help me with the car but still no one came to help me! I have to drive back and forth for nothing again . Therefore I do not reccomend buying any Lexus from this dealership unless you want your whole day to be wasted and be ignored for the whole day. I am very disappointed on how they treated me throughout my time buying a lexus!

Don t know where to start but I ve encountered most of the NYC s Lexus dealerships and nothing comes close to the type of attention to detail and treatment I received from the Lexus dealership of Englewood in New Jersey. I came to service my vehicle on the other side of the bridge on a whim and struck gold. I met Joel who was very knowledge and pleasant to work with. He made me feel comfortable and broke down the necessary service that needed to be done with my vehicle. Not at any moment did he pressure or force anything extra on me to make a buck. Lexus of Englewood is a nightmare. I posted a Yelp review of my experience on 7/31/19. Unfortunately I can t give a full explanation here without exceeding the character limit, but thanks to this business my credit was trashed and I almost ended up in the back of a police car and my car impounded. There has been no resolution in almost 4 months, and I m still owed money. At this point even an apology would be something, but apparently that s beneath them.
Bought a car here in July 2019. We are still waiting for our plates. They are now trying to tell us we need to pay $180 for our plates almost 2 months after we bought the car. We are being given the runaround. The workers here are shady, lazy people who cannot finish a job properly. Avoid buying a car here at all costs!

One of the best car shopping experiences my wife and I have ever had. We received a no-hassle shopping experience with a quality car at the best price. As an engineer of 20 years, I do my homework before making a large purchase such as this. I visited seven different Lexus dealerships in New York and New Jersey, and ended up here. This was a 3+ hour drive from my hometown outside of Albany, NY but well worth the travel. Ask for Michael M. or Simone M.
Be aware that other New Jersey Lexus dealerships (ie Tri-County, etc) have large (> $1,000) hidden fees in their delivery cost, or add on an additional fee if you do not finance through them. Englewood Lexus had a $0 delivery fee, and secured a 1.9% 4 year rate on my pre-owned purchase (12/1/14). I could have gone with my own bank (BoA) at no additional cost, but Lexus beat them by nearly a half of percent. We will defintely return when ready to make another Lexus purchase. I strongly recommend that anyone in the market for a pre-owned Lexus give this place an opportunity to win your business.
Do not purchase your car here. This happend 3 yrs ago i just leased a brand new rx350 the manager accused me of hitting another car in the lot and told me to come back so he can check my car I told him to go watch his cctv because 1 I know I didnt hit someone and 2 I had no scratches on my car. The manager than told me it will be easier for me to come or they will call the police and have the police get my information. I work at night so it was impossible for me to go back I told him I can come the next day and he told me I needed to come now. I then told him to send someone to my work so he can see my car and he said no. I told him it would be easiest if you check your cctv cameras but he said the one where it happened at was not working. He calls me back 2 hours later and told me the found the person who hit the car. His appology was not sincere. Prestige Lexus on rt17 is much nicer and more professional they were also $100 per month cheaper on a lease I was looking at. They have snacks and premium coffee and much more comfortable chairs you can wait at.

I had a disappointing experience with Lexus of Englewood last Saturday (4/24). I was uncomfortable walking into the dealership because it was packed with people with minimal social distancing and the salesperson assigned to me was not willing or unable to honor the quoted internet price due to some technicality. I left the dealership disappointed and the following day, I got up and decided to write a harsh review about my experience. As soon as my negative review was posted, DARCARS Lexus of Englewood reached out to me, but I wasn t interested because what could they possibly do? But with my wife s urging, since we still had to buy a new Lexus (We always had 1 Lexus and 1 something else), I stopped by on Wednesday (4/28) afternoon without an appointment to see if I can find someone else to match the internet price that was quoted to me.
Before I came back to Lexus of Englewood, I contacted every Lexus dealership around me (2 states and 75+ miles away) but no other dealer could match the price ($1500-$2000 MORE EXPENSIVE EVERYWHERE ELSE!) of Englewood and none had the inventory of DARCARS Lexus of Englewood (Most dealers only had a small number of cars in stock and one dealer even tried to sell me one that was still in Japan!). And we even stopped by a Mercedes dealer to see if we could buy something similar to the model that we were looking for. But we left disappointed because the SUVs we looked at were smaller, more expensive, had clunkier interior and didn t have the safety features that were standard in Lexus. (Not to mention Mercedes s poor reliability) The salesman that helped us was basically useless because most of his answers were something like We are Mercedes-Benzes, and we are better! (What does that have to do with lack of safety features?? And NO! they are not better)
I walked back into DARCARS Lexus of Englewood with some trepidation because I really didn t know what to expect. They could have treated me like an enemy and refuse to sell me anything or maybe (hopefully) they didn t care enough about my bad review to even notice me. As soon as I entered the show room, I was greeted by Joe (Grawehr), who is their Lexus Master Certified Sales/Internet manager, and he immediately checked the system to verify my quoted price and told me that I was good to go. He also gave me a good price on my trade in, which was right in the middle of Kelly Bluebook trade in value. Joe was very professional, helpful, friendly and I could tell that he knew what he was doing. So far so good because I thought that I could just buy a new car and get out without anyone noticing me, but I was wrong. Within minutes of Joe putting my name on the system, someone came down and identified himself as Chris (Vassallo), the general manager of DARCARS Lexus of Englewood. He immediately apologized for my poor experience on Saturday and addressed all my concerns. Wow! I am a nobody who just had one bad experience and wrote a negative review, and they could have treated me like a pond scum since I had to crawl back to them because of their price and inventory but I was treated like their most important customer. Wow! I was also impressed with Mr. Chris Vassallo because instead of sending someone else, he personally got involved, listened to my concerns, and addressed them right. Another wow! This has never happened to me in any car dealership before.
Anyway, Joe introduced me to another salesperson, Casey Vielee, since he was in middle of something before, I interrupted and Casey took care of me and within couple of hours, I drove out with a new Lexus with exact features and color (interior/exterior) that we were looking for. Casey was very helpful and friendly. I think he only recently started working for DARCARS Lexus of Englewood, but he has many years of experience at other dealers, and it showed because he was very professional and knowledgeable about cars.
I hope DARCAR Lexus of Englewood doesn t change because I want to come back every few years to buy few more Lexus(es?)

Traded in a vehicle in August (it is now November). They deliberately left an unpaid balance on my credit report and have not sent the pay off check to the bank. Ash was very unprofessional and has been giving us the run around. He has not returned my calls nor sent out the pay off check. Credit score dropped due to the unpaid balances they left on the traded vehicle. Do not shop here. You will get scammed one way or another.

I just purchased a Lexus GX from this dealership. The experience was great, and the salesman Nate Green was very courteous and helpful in making the best deal. Nate made sure we're comfortable throughout the process, and he was very professional. We did do some investigation before hand, which made the conversation stream lined and easier to negotiate on the price of the car. The entire process from the time we got to the dealership to driving the car was painless, and we're very happy with the purchase of the car.
Mark was very accomodating, going out of his way to ensure my satisfaction. Having used several other Lexus dealers in NJ, Lexus of Englewood is far and above the best experience all around. All of the valets were very helpful as well.

If you prefer, I'll write a detailed account of my experience. 9/26/2020 Update I've never heard from anyone at Lexus of Englewood, DARCARS. 1. I guess the Lexus standard is to schedule an appointment to view a car. Upon arriving @ DARCARS, expect to drive the salesperson (in your own vehicle) to the location of the car you want to buy. Upon arrival, witness the magic of their online sales photographer! The fun begins, while you help the sales person, try and locate the car you scheduled an appointment to view.
2. "Hey, at least you get a test drive"... I found the lease trade in I was looking for. Unfortunately the car didn't have enough gas for the test drive.
My overall experience at Lexus of Englewood was better than I could have ever imagined. Everyone there was amazingly hospitable and my salesman Joseph was awesome. He was super knowledgeable about the car I purchased and overall was just a great genuine salesman who wants to help you get the car you want. I would highly recommend Lexus of Englewood as well as Joseph. Great service, great employees, and great car deals!
Meghan Ahearns is amazing!! This is my third Lexus with her and she amazes ME EVERY time! I was able to get a brand new, bigger SUV at the right price. I called to ask a question and she went above and beyond to make me happy. Matt the tech specialist was GREAT at making sure I had all the information I wanted in the car updated and helped me while I was in a rush with my three year old son. He answered all my tech questions and displayed patience and expertise in his answers. Ask for those two when you call/go and you will NOT be disappointed!

Ahmed Sabat was instrumental in helping me a lease a 2020 NX 300, made the process hassle free and I obtained delivery of my vehicle within a couple of hours. I had an issue with the maintenance program that was sold to me by Lexus of Englewood and American Guardian Warranty which was only a Tire Rotation and oil change program However they did refund me the entire amt after initially posting bad reviews.
My wife and I bought I Certified Lexus RX 350, we had Rome as our salesman. Rome was great, he helped us with our car selection discussed all our options? Rome wasn t pushy and did not rush us. If we could we would give him 6 Stars! Our experience at Englewood Lexus could not have been better.
We purchased a vehicle July 2019. Sales staff were nice and friendly. We did not finance so I can t comment there. However, we still do not have our registration and plates. The dealer will not extend the temporary. So, now we are driving illegally in a car we paid cash for with a dealer whom is non-responsive. This experience heavily outweighs any positives.
We call weekly and get the same response, you have to wait. I will be waiting forever I feel.
Certified Lexus at 60 Rockwood place, look for Chris, nice guy and very helpful, very satisfied dealing and bought 2015 GX460 very low mileage CPO car, very nice SUV and very happy with the SUV.

Weird location, and showroom is like a call center, doesn t really look like a showroom. Seles desks everywhere, 2 feet away from the other. Only 1-2 cars inside. Inventory not on site. Good service but they need to look for another location because it s too small for a dealership.
I do apologize for my last post i knew it was too good tonbe true mitch was finance manager didnt even introduce himself to me Dwight had a list of requirements prior to my arrival on what it is i needed. Reason being because i knew it would be difficult to get me approved. He said he had a car for me which i never drove just sat in because it was getting some minor damages fixed. How would you feel knowing there was a 2 month warrranty? Hmmmmm i signed paperwork and now bank is requiring co signer and more money which i dont have. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Stay far away from the used car people here. Complete crooks had looked at a car online from car gurus and seen it listed for an good price and miles was low. Get to the dealer and the price is now 10k plus higher but miles are lower so must be mistakes with the post. Tell the used car manager about it and he argued with me saying they make the posts about the cars so there s no way it s wrong and said I m lying to him about it. Then says o well car gurus is a 3rd party site. So car gurus just changes the price and mileage to how they see fit I don t think so. Stay far far away from this place. I m not the only one when I was there hear a customer with an issue with her car and they were give her the run around. Shady shady dealer. Our experience working with Lexus in Englewood was great. We worked with Meghan Aherns and Chad(manager). Meghan was diligent in answering all our questions and did not push us into buying the car. She did some back and forth pacing with her manager but it was tolerable. At the end she gave us a very good and reasonable deal so we were happy with the end result. Disappointing experience, the salesperson I communicated with was very good, I saw a vehicle online, set appointment to test drive it. While on my way to dealership, I got a call that it was sold by another salesperson..!! Suddenly, few hours later I found the same car with same VIN No. for sale for higher price?? ..
If you need a new car, I highly recommend seeking out Chris Lee. While many will rate a dealership based on the price paid for a car, the five stars are primarily due to the excellent customer service provided by Chris. He patiently explained to my 70 year old mother all of the features of her new car, not only on the day of purchase but also a week after she had purchased the car. Perhaps she could have been purchased the car for a few hundred dollars cheaper at another dealership but if that's the case, the excellent customer service provided by Chris was well worth it.
I ve been here twice, and will never return. Organization of the service center is a mess starting with management and working down to technicians. They take too many appointments, have too little space to put cars (careful of dings and knicks) and never have available loan vehicles (if they even have any). The service takes hours longer than it should - an oil change took 2.5 hours. They have hidden fees on top of expensive labor and parts costs. I went in to get new tires on my Lexus RX 450H and 4 hours later they had put the wrong tires on my car and had charged me $100 more for it. When I complained they offered $100 off my next visit for service or I could wait another 2 hours in the DMV style lobby with terrible coffee and stale muffins. Ruined an entire day I planned to spend with my family. I will never come here again.
UPDATE: they contacted me about this review and asked to talk. I replied with my phone number but no one ever called or emailed back. Try harder, guys.
After visiting several different dealerships, Lexus of Englewood was the only dealer to meet all of my criteria when getting into my next lease. The service was phenomenal. The managing staff is understanding and compassionate and will go out of their way to ensure the customer leaves satisfied. I highly recommend visiting Lexus of Englewood for all of your car buying needs.
