I had the best car buying experience with Carlos Vizcaino. I recently bought a used 2017 Toyota 4Runner from Prestige Toyota. I was lucky to have Carlos assigned to assist me. He is not your typical car salesman. At least not the type I had been dealing with elsewhere. Carlos is very kind, personable, and knowledgeable. He made my mother, and I feel very comfortable and let us shop without trying to force us into a deal. Carlos didn't play games. He was honest with us. Like a good server in a Michelin Star restaurant, Carlos knew how to give us just the right amount of attention and space we needed to make this huge decision and purchase.

Carlos was respectful of our personal space, especially while shopping during a pandemic. The dealership was compliant with COVID safety regulations. Many dealerships are not. COVID safety was a big deal for me during my car search as a high-risk customer. Carlos had his mask on correctly the entire time. No lazy under the nose or chin awkwardness. I had been car shopping for a couple of months on Long Island and had one bad experience after the next. Especially with the salesman getting very close and taking their masks off, not allowing solo test drives, touching me, etc. It was well worth the 2 hours drive each way out to Prestige to buy my 4Runner. I felt more comfortable on the property than at any of the other dealerships I had visited.

I would tell my NY friends who are shopping for a car to drive out to Prestige in NJ and ask for Carlos specifically. If you want a professional, safe, and friendly shopping experience, Carlos is your guy. Real pleasure to work with.

Oh what a wonderful experience I had at Prestige Toyota. John Para, my sales consultant greeted me at the door and sat with me to discuss all my options and help me compare features for the Toyota VENZA I purchased. I was very impressed that he also took time to speak to my insurance agent and answer all her questions regarding the vehicle. John was patient and didn't harass me with phone calls like other dealerships I have gone to. I'm glad to be driving a Toyota again and will definitely stay with them.-TOYOTA*FOREVER Thanks John!!

I leased my truck this week from Prestige Toyota. I must say, it was one of the best experiences to date. The Sales person Hermes, was extremely friendly, helpful and patient. Also he wasn't pushy just to make a deal as with other dealerships. He was very knowledgeable of the truck I was looking into and helped me obtain the one I was looking for. Even the finance person was very pleasant to work with. Overall great experience. I'll certainly be back!

The worst experience ever! This place ran our credit multiple times, gave us the run around and ultimately cost us a Toyota Financing package through another dealership because of their games. Don't do business here. Very condescending and demeaning. Go to Toyota Turnersville, NJ because they are Penske owned. Prestige doesn't have the same pull that Penske does with Toyota Financing so they had to renege our deal from Toyota of Turnersville because they couldn't honor it at Prestige...which means Prestige is a bootleg, low budget, scheming dealership. So Toyoya of Turnersville sold us the car, and a week later I get a call saying we have to sign another contract (with Turnersville) because Prestige messed it all up with Toyota Financing! Go where Toyota trusts, not here! Lose money at Prestige...get a deal at Turnersville.

Hello,

On July 30th I purchased a 2007 Toyota Tacoma from your Bergen county preowned location. I drove 4 hours to come get this truck because it was the year, color and TRD edition I had been looking for. I have had a series of issues arise since I made this purchase.

My first issue was that I had stopped for gas on my way home and the attendant instructed me that I was missing a gas cap as soon as he opened the fuel door, I hopped out of the truck and checked it myself and sure enough there wasn't one there. I didn't look before I purchased the truck as I had assumed something like that would have been picked up when you guys inspected this truck prior to letting me take delivery of it and drive it 4 hours back home to Maryland. Not a big deal, I ordered one online for $25 and didn't even mention it to my sales guy Rick P.

My second issue was the next day when I got the truck Maryland inspected so that I could send the certificate to Rick so that there would be no delay in getting my truck tagged and titled. My inspector failed it because the front brake pad indicators were about 2mm away from beginning to rub the rotors. The second issue was that the performance slotted rotors that came on the truck when I bought it were so badly worn that the slots that are cut into them for heat dissipation were almost non existent because they were worn away. At this point I was kind of irritated because that was $370 I didn't plan on having to spend on a truck that I just bought 24 hours ago that was supposedly inspected thoroughly according to the paperwork I received.

My third issue is that I called and spoke with Rick on 8-17 to ask him if he had any idea when I should expect to receive my tags since my temp tag expired the next day (8-18). He said he would call me back with an update. He then called me back and asked me to send the signed copy of the NJ verification of residency form that tells NJ that I'm a not of state resident. I had already taken time out of my day to send this via fed ex once before last week. Now they are asking for the same thing yet again. I spent my lunch break going to my house, grabbing another copy of the same form and mailing it via fed ex again. I also informed Rick and Andy (she did the F&I portion of my deal) that I was leaving for a beach vacation the next day and had to take this truck as my other vehicle cannot make it down the beach since it's not 4 wheel drive. I asked both Rick and Andy to fax/email me another temp tag so I wasn't driving 200 miles away on a dead tag. They informed me that they could not do this. I am in F&I myself in the motorcycle industry and have been for a number of years. The system I use (CVR) allows me to delete a registration for a temp tag and then reissue another one to the same customer when we run into an issue like this. I even told them how they would need to do it. No luck. I spoke with Andy twice yesterday asking for an update on when I would receive something. I was emailed a letter informing that there was a title and registration delay and they expect to have it resolved within 10 days in case I got pulled over. I highly doubt this letter will suffice and save me from tickets and possible impoundment of my truck if I'm stopped by the police.

UPDATE: Prestige got my tags out to me and they also reimbursed me for the missing gas cap and my brakes that needed replacing. Better late than never!

I went in for a simple alignment. They failed to give me the promotional pricing stated in the invoice (109.00 vs 129.99). I wasted an hour of time waiting to get my car valet driven. The mechanic left dirty gloves in my car. They also didn't wash my car as stated in the invoice. If they can't complete the most basic services competently, I'm no going back to see how the fare on more complex ones.

I went to Prestige Toyota in Ramsey to help my sister buy a used car on 2/24/16. I drove from Yorktown Heights, NY (Northern Westchester County) to the Bronx to pick up my sister whose car had just broke down (for good). I saw a car online for a great price (reduced $2,000) at Prestige and didn t want to do all that driving to end up being disappointed. We traveled through 50+ MPH winds and thundershowers to get there. Within a few hours we drove out and my sister had her car she depended on for work. These guys, from all the departments, worked their tails off to make it happen. The ride home was real scary because a truck was flipped over from wind on the GW Bridge. (I made sure we traveled back, on bottom section of the bridge.) I especially want to thank Andy, the salesman who directed us through the process and even called afterwards to make sure we made it back home safe.

Found a car on their website. Called, gave my information, gave the vehicle including stock number. $11000 certified used Corolla. They confirmed they still had it, I told them I would be there in 45 min to see it.

Got there, gave name and vehicle again to receptionist. She introduced me to a salesman, went to his desk. He seemed upset that he couldn't find us in their appointment system. He pulled up the vehicle on his computer on their website and said he would bring it up for us.

He was gone about ten minutes, and came back with another man who introduced himself as a manager. He started by asking about our needs and telling us that he meets every customer as they arrive... five minutes of nonsense before he tells us "actually, that car sold just a few hours ago."

I told him I had called just before driving over and confirmed they still had it. He started with a story about how the front desk people can't really see inventory, and then tried to upsell us to a $15000 car!

Pure bait and switch - they listed a bargain (which is still on the website btw two days later) to draw people in. Wasted a couple hours of my day. Avoid.

Purchased a new 2021 tacoma trd off road here. I first walked in and met with Rob Rago who is great. We started to build a truck custom because I had very specific requests. After a I started telling Rob what I wanted he realized they had a truck already coming to the showroom much sooner than had I ordered one custom that had everything I wanted and more. It was exactly what I wanted and in the super awesome Army Green color and even had leather interior which I had no idea was an option in the off-road. Rob was great and kept me updated and showed me all the features and I could not be happier with the truck. Thanks Rob! - Reed L.

Our family just purchased a 2020 Sienna last week from Prestige Toyota. All the associates are nice especially John Parra. John is our salesperson. He is patience, courteous and knowledgeable. Since English is not our first language, John answered our questions very patiently. He speaks slowly just in case we could catch and understand every single word. He even typed down and printed out every information we needed. He has scheduled a service appointment for us today to fix the power mirrors (they are not working properly). He is definitely going the extra mile. Thank you.
P.S. I am giving 5 stars to the sales department but not satisfy with services department. The power mirrors are not working properly at the very first day and we asked for replacement. We got an email saying someone will be in touch with us soon but have not heard anything until we sent an Email to John. There is definitely still room for improvement on quality control. We were expected ZERO malfunctions for a brand new car. Thank you.

I wish I could give less stars for these bait and switch artists! My daughter researched used cars on True Car and found one at Prestige Toyota. The certificate was issued from True Car and she called Prestige to check and verify that it was available. My daughter spoke to Rosa Marie on a Tuesday evening. She made sure Rosa Marie was checking the specific vin # of the car she wanted. She was assured the car was at the dealership and she could check it out. Early the next day we went to Prestige to check out the car and they did not have the car! Those idiots (Rosa Marie and two Salesmen) just looked at each not knowing what to say. The car was not in their possession, it had never been in their possession and they never intended on showing us that car. They use True Car to get people into their showroom. All they could say was sit down we ll blow out another deal for you . I had no plans on being held hostage all day with BS sales pitches and scams. DONT GO TO PRESTIGE TOYOTA in Ramsey.
Dealerships should be held accountable for their shady practices.

I just drove off with my new 2016 Rav4 leased car off the lot, and must say that I'm delighted with the professionalism and friendly customer service I experienced at their dealership in Ramsey.

Arsen Musalaev was my sales rep and led me through the negotiating process until I came away with a lease I felt was fair and affordable.
He patiently answered all my questions (and there were many) and stuck with me throughout the sale, from contract, to tutorial of the cars features, finance and finally driving the car home.

Along with his sales manager Sam, and business manager, Domingo, they made the experience as painless as possible. Arsen combined his expertise with a very good natured demeanor. We went in last week & John Parra was helping us to find a Toyota Tacoma that would fit our needs and budget. He helped us with every step and tried to make the process as easy as possible.
Being honest with you, I was surprise that it didn't take an eternity for the process to be done.
We've been to Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM Dealer Nanuet NY & to Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, and even that I know that the brand is totally different, I really appreciate that the service was TOTALLY different and much better.
I personally appreciate that John wasn't trying to rush us, or put pressure on us to buy the car. He was very nice & patient.
My family felt comfortable with the fact that John speaks Spanish & pretty much almost everyone there is bilingual.

Look Rob Rago at Prestige Toyota at Ramsey. This is my first time leasing a car from Toyota. I used to be Honda man but the experience with him changed my attitude toward Toyota. He has been there for long I know because several years ago I was there though I couldn't finalize my deal. I had vague idea on my needs back then. With clear idea on your own needs, Rob can help you get your target price with fast, professional manner. He can save your time as long as you make clear on your requirement. I believe that he had good relation with finance managers and used good negotiation skill to finalize the deal in favor of me. Great experience and recommend this man to every prospective Toyota buyers!

I dropped my sienna at nov 2014 for repairing door trim. (Door trim got a damage by prestige technicians.) but prestige technicians did not repair.
he just tricked that. he did take off damage part. He just put new part on damage part.
i showed service manager. service manage understood that, then he said that he would order new part for repairing perfectly.
After that, i called several time to him. he said please wait, the part will come . that was dec. after calling, l leaved the country during 3 weeks.
At last week, i visited prestige toyota for service. i asked him door trim. but he did not realize. he even could not fine order history.
that means that he does not order a part. he lies to me.
i wrote down all of them to toyota survey. today morning i got a call from service manager prestige toyota. he never apologize me. he just said " i repair, do not complain, call to manager" he was so rude. i cannot believe that this is happened at toyota.
all of them i write down are ture. i have pictures and calling history.
Don't go to prestige toyota service. They will repair a problem, but they will give you another problem.

I had an appointment to drop my 2008 Tacoma to have the frame rust recall on 1/26/15. Service was to be preformed on 1/27. On 1/26 I received a phone call from Prestige confirming if I was still coming on 1/26, which I replied I was. I arrived at the dealership at approximately 2:15 pm. I was told by a employee they were closing early. Even though there were about 10 service managers sitting at there desks, nobody was willing to help me. I asked them if anything could be done because I left work early in order to make the appointment. I was turned down and told to return Thursday. Prestige Toyota on the website stated they were closing early at 4:00pm My time is just as valuable as Prestige's. I was treated with no respect and they could have cared less. Didn't even bothering to ask me my name. If they had time to call me in the morning asking if I was coming they should have taken the time to call me and advise me they were closing earlier than what was stated on the website.

He explained all the features of the two models we were considering and was very helpful in making our final decision. Dave and Anson were especially helpful when we were unsure which color interior to choose and their advice was definitely the way to go.

Dave was friendly, patient and we never felt pressured. We were impressed with the teamwork among all the employees we met. We absolutely love our Highlander!

Probably the nicest Toyota dealership in the area. Carlos was a pleasure to work with. He was very informative and has a friendly demeanor. He was not at all pushy and helped us along the way to purchase a new hybrid. Just a week after our purchase he has already called a couple of times to check in on things. Would definitely recommend this dealership if you're in the market for a new vehicle and like being treated with respect.

Here is the reason I bothered to write a review for Prestige Toyota. Of the numerous Toyota dealerships we shopped at for a RAV4 in and around Rockland County, only Andrew (Andy) Eagle at Prestige Toyota exercised clarity and, well, bluntness during our buying process. We shifted around to the RAV4, then the Highlander, then the RAV4 Hybrid, then back to the RAV4, all over the course of a couple of months; each conversation he succintly would mention, "Yes, we have that one", or "No, but we will get it", or "We would have to order it. This is our ordering process". Just no nonsense. In comparison, Toyota of Hackensack used a bait-and-switch, Westchester Toyota prevaricated or stated they had a vehicle when they, in fact, did not. Rockland Toyota started out well but then demurred in terms of their ability to get a car. Interstate Toyota promised to get back to us on a vehicle of interest; they never did.

Why am I mentioning all these other dealerships? Because when time is limited, responsibilities are many, and a person simply wants straight answers to straight questions, it is best to buy your car from a place, and a man (in this case, Andy), that facilitates your life and does not hamper it. Andy sold us a RAV4 for a reasonable price.

If I had any bones to pick, it was that it took nearly four hours, (without a test drive, mind you), from the time we walked into the dealership to the time we left with the car. In addition, the credit/debit card reader in the finance person's office did not work. An inconvenience for sure, but more a situation of bad impressions. Prestige Toyota has a very nice waiting room, and they are expanding to accommodate additional business (presumably). You would expect a facilitated buying process and immaculate equipment to realize that process. It is tantamount to staying at a very nice hotel, but then the curtains don't close all the way, or the faucet leaks. Hence the "bad impressions" comment, and my 4-star vs. a 5-star rating.

That said, one should do their homework with regard to average price paid, invoice price, existing deals, etc. However, when you make that choice to purchase/lease the car, and don't want to waste time with other seamy dealerships, (i.e. Westchester Toyota or Toyota of Hackensack, in our experience), get your car from Andy Eagle. He's simply the best.

Thank you Prestige Toyota for hooking me up. I purchased my first Toyota Corolla from there two years ago and was very pleasant with their service. They were all very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place to my friends and anyone who is lost as i was. Tony was my guy to help me choose my car. I am definitely going back there soon and get a new one since it has been two years I want a newer car. My uncle is also planning on going with me to purchase one from there. Very happy with their service. when i purchased my car, I financed it for 5 years with 0% APR. However i paid off the entire amount in about one year and now ready for a new one.

I have to say, purchasing a new or used car from a dealership is not always a good experience, but Prestige Toyota has set the standard for the industry. I went in to look at a used vehicle which was an off brand for this dealer. I was met by an extremely courteous staff and introduced to Andy. Andy is a salesman who knows what he is doing and knows how to treat a customer. No high pressure sales tactics or "What can we do to put you in a car today" games. He was straightforward, honest, and got me the best possible deal I could have received. He made the whole process simple, smooth, and I left knowing I was well taken care of. I will continue to use Andy and Prestige Toyota as my go to for my future vehicles. The simply are Fantastic!!

It's hard for me to rate Prestige Toyota as my comparisons are Prestige Mini and Prestige BMW, both under the same management, but tailoring to a different segment. Though I don't expect Toyota to offer the same level of service as either other brand, I believe there are some things that they could offer to make the experience better.

I'm looking mostly at their service department, as the majority of our interactions have been with them. First off, they do not offer complimentary loaners, which I can understand at their volume, though the other two brands do, and it makes a huge difference. Rather than my only interaction being with the rep and taking off for the rest of the day, experiencing a different (usually more uptrim model) that usually makes me consider the model or at least some options in the next car we have, we have to entertain ourselves in their waiting area, the ante-room of Hades, for typically 2 hours. Also, why does an oil change on the most popular car in the country take 2 hours?

The waiting room itself is fine. They have a tv, free wifi, coffee and vending machines and is kept fairly clean. The problem comes when you need to be in the same room as the other customers for a prolonged period of time. Get ready to learn way too many personal details about people oblivious to how loudly they talk on their phone. Also children with sticky fingers touching you.

The reps are all fine, and keep from being hostile, but clearly don't go out of their way to make any sort of impression. You are clearly just a number here and they want to get rid of you as fast as possible.

Compared to other Toyota dealerships, this is very good. But since I've seen what their other dealerships are capable of, I am not impressed. We're definitely done with the Toyota experience now, and will be sticking to the non-entry level makes, though I realize this is not a practical choice for many people. You definitely get what you pay for.

I traded in my Honda CRV and got a new 2021 Tacoma this week with Mr. Jaf. I must say the experience was very pleasant. My supervisor recommended me going to him as he has been dealing with him for 6 years. Mr. Jaf is a well experienced salesman who is trustworthy and doesn't play games around when it comes to pricing and what he can offer. We were able to negotiate a good deal although buying a new Tacoma this time around is tough. He was able to expediate the delivery of my new Tacoma from the manufacturer factory as it was still in building process when I ordered it. I definitely recommended him as he will give you the best deal he can get and be helpful as much as he can.

We wanted to buy two Toyota Camry. They agreed for $ 25,000. Signed documents. Everything was fine. For some reason they pulled until 20.00 in the evening. And they said the bank is closed, today is Saturday, come on Monday. When they arrived, they didn t want to give us for 25,000 dollars and for 35,000 dollars. And all sorts of incomprehensible reasons said. Well, in short, they deceived as they wanted, and spent as much as 2 days for their deception. I do not recommend this salon to anyone.

Our 2021 Rav4 was the second new Toyota we purchased in the past few months at Prestige Toyota of Ramsey. Both times were a great experience. Our sales rep, John Parra, was so helpful and knowledgeable. He was so nice with our first purchase, we went directly to him for our second. There was no pressure to buy at all. Our first 4Runner was purchased at Prestige Toyota of Ramsey 11 years ago. We were so impressed with the dealership and service department that we returned this year after selling our 2009 4Runner. Gabriel who helped us with the finance was also very helpful. It was an all-around good experience. They made purchasing a new car enjoyable.

COMPLETE WASTE OF HOURS OF MY TIME WITH SHADY BUSINESS TACTICS. I dealt with salesman Sameh G. on a deal for a Toyota Camry. We called for an appointment to test drive the car. Liked it and went to try to make a deal. When I test drive it I noticed a paper that said sold on it from 6 days ago. They said someone put a deposit on it, but it was no longer valid and not happening. They then said they put a $900 fee automatic on top of the online price. Then they said they'd waive the fee but there was a $600 fee for the shine that they put "on every car they sell" we were offered a decent deal w a trade in. We make another deal. It's been 2 hours since we originally sat down with them and we MAKE the verbal deal. Wait 20 more minutes and they tell us, get this... SORRY, THE CAR WAS SOLD AT 10:00 THIS MORNING. Walked right out. Clearly the higher-ups at this Prestige must've said the deal we made wasn't good enough for them. Any place that has a car sold that someone left a deposit on, then tries to get more money out of it from you, then when they realize the other buyer was probably the better deal and wastes your whole day is a SHADY, LYING DEALERSHIP. Don't trust them.

He was very professional and extremely efficient, which I really appreciated as I was a bit in a hurry. He quickly provided me with information and resolved a minor issue a couple of days after I had purchased the car. I am very happy with the car and with the service that I got at Prestige Toyota.
