I lived at one of Peak Living's apartment complexe...

I lived at one of Peak Living's apartment complexes and it was a nightmare. So I reached out to Peak Living management department to let them know the issues I was having, and I was basically dismissed. I haven't had air conditioning since April. I let my apartment complex know, and I was constantly told that they were waiting on parts. Well, I finally got to a point to put my request in writing (because the law states that the complex has to fix the issue within 7 days from the date of the written notice to fix the issue or the lease can be terminated.) I went into the managers office on the 7th day to terminate my lease and was badgered by the manager. So I decided to call Peak Living to let them know about the several issues I was having and initially the women I spoke with asked if I had received any comps due to the fact I didn't have air conditioning and I had flood damage. I had not. So she said she would work with me on getting out the the lease and I received an email today saying that the complex I live in followed the rules, basically. Well then please explain why I put in the written request on 6/25/2018 and wasn't completed until 7/3/18. I though that is 8 days, right? Plus, I called them on May 29th because my apartment was so hot, I couldn't take it anymore. I spoke with the women in the office (whom was very empathetic) and told me she was calling her manager right away. She called me back and said she would lend me a window unit (that only covers 300 sf) until the air conditioner was fixed. That cooled down my apartment to 89-90 degrees (while running it all day and night. Oh, and they don't pay the electric bill, I do, so you can imagine my bills the past few months.) And remember, I was NEVER given ANY comps off my rent! So now I'm stuck here without any help from Peak Living!

During my time there I witnessed a lot of theft and violence! And the complex itself is literally falling apart everything is rotting! The windows and doors are very old, drafty and inefficient. The building it s self is not adequately insulated. This adds up to a very high energy bill. There are so many gaps in the structure that allows for a complete infestation of spiders, snakes and bugs! EVERYWHERE CONSTANTLY!!!! We were on the bottom level and when it rained our patio turned to a pond and began to Short out the outdoor outlet and electrify the water. It s very dangerous! It then started to overflow into our living room! We brought all these problems to Brendas attention and unfortunately she is mentally handicapped. She had no concept of reality. The maintenance team consists of people who just live there and want a job. These people have no idea hot to maintain a building.

Also They took our security deposit for damages that didn t exist.!!

I live in Virginia Beach, Va in the Aden Park Apartments. I wish I would have did my research when it came to me moving in this place. For one the property management team are so unprofessional. Not only do these people show up to work when they want to they never answer the phone, they delay everything and have such negative attitude s when it comes to their jobs. For one my apartment wasn t all the way together when I moved in. My Windows didn t work nor was the floor or walls clean. My heat stopped working this winter and the maintenance drug their feet to fixed that as it does them to do anything.
They have a really bad pest problem and I feel each resident is poorly handled. I cannot wait until my lease is up so I can move. I m sick of this place already and this is only the fourth month.

I will not delete my review. Just further evidence that this company is horrible. You acquired Continental Colony Apartments at 2999 Continental Colony Pkwy, Atlanta Georgia 30331. It looks as if the company renamed the apartments Columbia Colony Senior Apartments.

How about you give your tenants contact information where you can actually be reached. FYI...residents still haven't been given leases to sign since the acquisition. Your management at this property leaves much to be desired

I have been working at cottonwoood terrace, windmill apt. Stetson meadows, and country club west in Colorado for the past couple of years. With the support of the managers and direction of the regional manger Crystal Nuanes, I must say it has been a pleasure. Kim, Karen, Sara, and Katie are always on top of their game. They are always willing to help solve any issue that arises. I hope to be a part of the Peak team for years to come.

I love working for Peak Living. It genuinely tries to take care of both its residents and its employees. The vast majority of the people I've worked with at Peak Living are very friendly and willing to help out. I've seen many employees go above and beyond to keep the properties running smoothly. Peak Living is not perfect, but as far property management companies go, it is among the best.

[NOTE- the "response from the owner" states that Peak Living took over the property I resided at on 4/29/2019. However, my original review is in regards too problems experienced throughout all of 2019 and 2020. This just provides an examples of the company's negligence and willingness to make excuses in lieu of being proactive and solving the problems at their properties.]

I was a recent resident at Providence Pointe Apartments (1320 N 200 E, Logan, UT) from mid-2018 through mid-2020. The complex underwent several management and staff changes during my time there. I would imagine this contributing to the many problems at the complex.
These included:
Dog feces are littered all over the property, tenants rarely pick up after their pets.
Police are called to the complex almost on a weekly basis. I didn't think this was a high crime neighborhood, but there must have been a lot of domestic violence, drugs, and whatever else at this facility.
Despite my efforts to regularly deep clean the unit, trashy and unhygienic neighbors allowed for cockroaches to become a nuisance.
The property itself would have trash everywhere. Tenants tend not to care due to lack of management's rule enforcement.
I had a completely surreal experience with the property's management and the move out process. The negligence and behavior on their end led to several issues with the security deposit and communication. I understand this is a company out to make a profit, but I still expect some level of professionalism and ethical business practices.
Regardless, during the last few weeks I was there I felt completely disrespected. I reached out to the customer service and executive teams at the umbrella company 'Peak Living' where they simply circled the situation back. I was continued to be disregarded, lied too, and gas-lighted.

Peak Living's management and policies in place are the worst in the industry. We have submitted the same invoices multiple times to multiple people and have yet to be paid on projects completed months ago. They had us bid projects they had already awarded to other contractors. To top this off they tried to charge us to get "setup" as a vendor for them? Save yourself some time and don't work with these guys.

For View High Lake Apartments.....RUN. This complex is ridiculous. Prior it was decent, the staff communicated with residents okayish. Peak living took over in November 2018, I have continually asked for my utility bills since then. ITS ALMOST APRIL AND NOTHING. The staff has turned over, peak has such a bad reputation and I d never want to work for them. When they took over they did not put any information in the system correctly, I haven t had access to any portal, I m supposedly not on a lease and now they change utility billing without proper notification, which is absolutely against the lease. After two years i can t wait to be done now. If you live here and live with chad Nic, look into your utility bill. I can guarantee they re not billing you correctly. It does not matter how long the office staff has been on site, you are now a representative of the company, and any problems there are it s now your problem, don t tell a paying resident get lost.

I also put a maintenance request in Feb 2019 due to a security door not locking after someone attempted to break in my apartment, it took 5 weeks for them to not fix it but have to go to the office 2 more times after another attempted break in!! My window is still not fixed, but they re concerned about changing out toilets. Good to know, this property is going downhill way too fast, not to mention over 36 vacant apartments when i last checked! The gates never work, so don t count on that security either, let alone titan security who takes 45 minutes to respond when a gun is pulled on you by another resident at 3 am! This place is a joke.

It was the worst experience of my live! Absolutely horrible! I lived in Detroit most of my life and this place was worse. The filth and decay of this complex was unnerving. Just absolutely god forsaken retched filth. If you are a woman living here you probably have a pretty high likelihood of being a victim of some heinous act of violence. I genuinely lived in constant fear of my life!!

There is so much management could have done to help. This customer support email Peak Living sends out is not even real. They really don t care.

This place runs some of the worst complexes there are. I live at FootHills in Arvada Co

Heroin needles and nails scattered all over the parking lot. Dog feces on every inch of grass. Poor upkeep. None of the outside lights work. Excessively high rent for such a low quality place. Cops are Constantly showing up. Car break ins are an every night event. And they still refuse to fix the outside lights or install cameras. Although my vehicles are registered on the lease they still threatened to tow them.

The walls look like a child painted them, the work done is so spotty. There is so much mold all over the building it s not healthy.

We cleaned our apartment spotlessly and replaced the drip pans in the stove and they claim we still owe them money for damages.

Lots of homelessness. Very similar to the hood of Detroit Michigan. The woman Brenda that works here is unfortunately mentally challenged and cannot hold a conversation.!!!

I wish I could give negative stars because this company doesn t even deserve the one I put here. I lived at the Fountaine Bleu North apartment complex in North Little Rock, AR. The staff was never at the front office, so those pretty extras they charge you an enormous amount for are rarely able to be used. Not only that but heaven forbid you have a question because you ll have to wait. The biggest issue I had was that my roommate has attempted to take his life and had to be hospitalized the day before rent was due and when I called to try and work something out they only cared to ask if the apartment was okay then told me rent would be late two days later with a $100 fee and by the 15th I could be evicted. The next month he unfortunately succeeded what he attempted before and the complex was just as apathetic. They only asked if it happened in the apartment and just seemed to shrug their shoulders offering no advice on how to pay the rent in this situation. A week after he passed the rent he had paid returned and I was called 2 days before Christmas and was told if it wasn t paid with interest by then I would be evicted. Fast forward to when I move out. Showed up to gather my things and my apartment was a wreck. Apparently a pipe had burst and no one felt the need to alert me. I have no valuables, but my important letters and cards were destroyed because they sat there for days. I IMPLORE YOU, please do not waste your time or money with this company. Learn from my personal story. This place is heartless and unprofessional. You are a dollar amount to them and you are nothing else.

In a word, apathetic. Wait; two words: Apathetic and unresponsive. I reside at one of their communities in Saginaw, Michigan (Arbor Trails) and despite a litany of issues, fail to receive any sort of response from local management and ultimately response from anyone at the corporate level. I've spent twelve years as a property manager, thus I am well aware of the need to manage expectations - but Peak falls well short of even my lowest confidences. To add insult to injury, several weeks after contacting corporate and hearing nothing but crickets, I receive a generic email from the resident relations department encouraging residents to 'reach out' in the event we have concerns. Like so many other customer service encounters, these days this company is mired in mediocrity and the residents who call their community(s) home pay the price.

I lived in the Kansas City, Mo location called View high Lake. If I could give a negative number I would. We moved here because of the price and the space. Both my wife and I were in school and needed somewhere decent. At first management was okay. Snow would very rarely get shoveled and maintenance was hit or miss. We moved to a larger unit when we started our family, and that's when all Hell broke out. Gated community, yeah right the gates never work, so anybody can just drive in the the neighborhood. Mold problem so bad we had a contractor tell the management team our ceilings in the bathrooms needed to be changed, never happened. As a result my youngest son now has respiratory issues. The doors and windows are nowhere near efficient in either winter or summer. Speaking of Summer take a look at that state of the art AC unit for my apt. The head of Maintenance, Daniel repeatedly told management that that unit needed to be replaced, never happened. This summer on a day that was over 85 degrees outside, no one from maintenance would come to service our dilapidated piece of junk A/C. My family had to stay at my mom's house because of the heat. The apartment flooded this nasty moldy, muddy water a few weeks ago, and it took days for anyone to clean it up. luckily we had moved by then, but those pictures are from the apartment when I went back to get a few last items. Car break ins, a murder, a stabbing, countless fights and disruptions from ghetto neighbors. They even lie about the lake, it is not owned by this property and sure as hell isn't stocked. I sent these same pictures to Peak Living on the 24th of this month, I got an auto reply saying no one could respond to me until October 3rd. You mean there is no one in the entire Peak Living corporation that could respond to a 10 year resident's concern?!! DO NOT MOVE TO THIS PLACE !!!! Another murder just this week!!

I asked the property manager could I move into another unit because now my apartment has a bad odor plus all that water cause so many gnats. I was a resident for two years (2018-2020) at Providence Pointe Apartments complex in Logan, UT. This review is about my experience and interaction with J. Hicks (property manager), K. Corbridge (from the Peak "Cares" Team), and executive president Kelianne Crapo.
During the full extent of my contract, I paid my rent early and obliged by all the rules in my lease and addendum. I was unproblematic and never had the police called, which frequently occurred with the residents there.
However, I had a completely surreal experience with the property's management and the move out process. The negligence and behavior on their end led to several issues with the security deposit and communication. I understand this is a company out to make a profit, but I still expect some level of professionalism and ethical business practices.
Regardless, during the last few weeks I was there I felt completely disrespected. I reached out to the customer service and executive teams at the umbrella company 'Peak Living' where they simply circled the situation back. I was continued to be disregarded, lied too, and gas-lighted.
Unfortunately, I was scammed out of a lot of money, but these are the things you learn as a young adult and simply grow from.
In conclusion, I would invite Peak Living and Providence Pointe Apartments to do better in terms of their business practices, morals, and ethics.

UPDATE- Please note the "response from the owner" below this google review. This is a good example of the company's lying and gaslighting behavior from their Peak "Cares" Team.
They state in their reply that they adhere to all of the fair housing laws. (but the local court records indicate otherwise). They also claim that their properties are managed by "only the best onsite teams to ensure a high standard of living". Again, I have voice mail recordings, photographs, and receipts from email discussions that easily display quite the opposite.

It's fascinating to watch companies like this continue to lie, manipulate, and gaslight in place of simply acknowledging problems, taking responsibility, and striving to improve their business. But whatever!

Over four months with an outside security lighting...

Over four months with an outside security lighting issue (Big time safety issue)

Sub standard lawn care, felt like I was walking through a jungle to get to my front door.

Over 3 months now with a toilet issue that will sometimes flush and at other times will not. After having to put plastic bags in the toilet to depose of my waste.

I withheld my rent for one month, told them way and have be paying $100.00 late fee every month. i am a retired Navy Chief with factory level Jet Engine repair knowledge and have told them this is a problem outside of the residence. When it rains heavy then the toilet issue comes back. Service you sump and have a skill Plummer to look at the issue.

Under staff for maintenance and problems continue to mount up. As a tenant I responsibility to pay rent, be kind to my neighbors and I expect in return the the Peak Living would respect me as a tenant and not take months to response to issue that need to be address.

Our new Assistant Community Manager Alicia Haynes (Jacksonville Fl) has done her best to support the Company and attempted to provide Support for the property, but it is clear she cannot cover for this gross negligence.

I will be filing this compliant at the City and State level.

I have worked with Peak Living since October 2016. Started as a temp employee, was hired on 2 months later, and have worked my way up to Assistant Community Manager. I moved onto property in April 2019, and have loved every minute of it. This company has taught myself and my fellow employees many things and aided us in improving ourselves as employees and also people as a whole. Questions never go unanswered! Working for this company is like working with Family. Corporate employees are highly involved and are never more than an email away for anything you may need. Highly recommend working for this company, and also living in their communities! Every city has their issues, but our staff does what is needed for you to enjoy your time here!

I live at the Villa de san Felipe in Albuquerque n.m they don't care about their residents especially ones with dogs they don't understand how hard it is to walk your dog to the trash in the middle of the night in complete darkness to the dumpster people sleep in there all of a sudden they took the dog trashcan out.the staff is very unfriendly.the guy told me he didn't want to get his shoes wet there's other options like may be getting one with a lid or moving it I've lived here 14 years and I loved it now I'm thinking about moving. i miss are old company.they cared about their residents its dirty there is a big pile of poo bags where the poop can was.its not very pretty.and there is a big whole that throws water down the parking lot it's been that way for about 3 months

One of their properties in Murfreesboro, TN was mold infested. They did nothing about it till it made the local news.
Thier residents constantly have trash fall off their cars all over one of the main roads here in Murfreesboro. When management was contacted to see if they would start working to help clean it up they brushed off all complaints.

They have no care for the quality of life of their residents. The staff they hire are questionable, rude, and incompetent.

You will never, I mean NEVER hear from the main office if you reach out to them. I m sure they ll reply to this with that useless peak cares email and phone number but no one will get back with you.

The contractors they hire at my complex are awful and untrustworthy.

The price of rent keeps going up but there is absolutely no improvement in their service.

If you find an apartment or townhome managed by Peak just know it WILL be an awful experience and you will regret it.

They purchased a property in June and they are slowly getting rid of all the long-term residents who live there they have priced it out of everything in the area we can t even survive can t afford food and they don t really care all they care about is the bottom line they haven t cleaned up the mess the weeds fix the things that haven t been fixed their maintenance manager is worthless and all keep saying is we are doing our best. Rent is maybe $50 less than my Social Security . all I keep hearing is there s nothing we can do I could tell you out of one building they are losing six residents out of 20 so far. Was moved in an apartment Fleas and bugs for 75 days, my husband and I were bitten told Kendra she laughed and said did you spray, She moved us in a flea infested apartment with roaches, runny sinks, painted over walls, broken valence, broken bathroom pipes, kitchen drawer broke off nobody came, sink sprayer requested since November still has not been replaced, no mail or mail box so we cant get mail, no mailbox key ever since living there. Kendra is racist towards African Americans she speaks to the residents as if they are uneducated ( has done this to me 4 different times). Kendra has had 3 different property managers under her since living there (just moved in June), she is the problem. Kendra had my husband car towed while he was at work due to slow leak in his tire. Kendra allowed another tenant to let his Silver Saturn sit in front of the apartment and had my husband car towed while at work. She told my husband that if he had let her know the car wouldn't have been towed so SHE HAD HER OWN TENANT CAR TOWED THE CAR IS REGISTERED TO BE THERE. a property manager that would tow the residents car because of a slow leak (she tried to say its in the lease about the flat tire, the car tire rim was bent so we would put air in the tire every 2-3 days). The car was facing the highway and she stated a sticker is on the car facing the road that we would never see. I told her about the silver Saturn she said how do you know that car doesn't move. I live here and the car hasn't moved since I moved here and it is broken down. I have complained on several times about the car taking up a space in the front of the parking lot and so all of a sudden a car that is registered to the complex gets towed. When I questioned her again Kendra laughed and said black people don't drive cars like that stop crying. So if my husband had told her about his slow leak in his car tire that we air up every 2-3 days because of the leak it wouldn't have been towed while he was at work. Kendra has not only be retaliatory towards my husband and I, but more than rude and disrespectful. When I stated that he has a 2017 Mustang that IS NOT REGISTERED TO THE COMPLEX but yet it's not towed Kendra laughed and so oh THATS HIS CAR. He is black and shouldn't be driving THAT car just like she stated prior about his Lexus. Stay away from this place Kendra gets your money and treats you as if that's her complex and she is the boss in charge and can do whatever because she know corporate will back her. African American stay away!!! Kendra needs a class in professionalism because to feel comfortable belittling the residents of the community she should not be there.

They have a community manager at our complex her name is laura Morrison really nasty and unprofessional to addressing her business. I feel humiliated in front of other clients that was there. I been living in this complex for three years never fail in my rent and for she to treat me like that? Is not acceptable. We pay the money every money without complain and she have done to us is just unacceptable . beside that I have complaint about a light bulb no working for two years now and never been fix. The air conditionee doesnt work properly and still is not fix , the stove just have one burner working and still have not been fixed. Unprofessional, unresponsive and careless, if I was an owner I ll be so worry for my investment, they hired the most unprofessional people to represent in their offices. I rented in one of their new apartments and i thought that with them taking over it was gonna be better... huge No, it got worse. All the people in the office are unprofessional and careless. From they are always closed or open from 1pm-5pm Monday to Friday on a 100+ community. Also Manager talking on her cell (personal call) in front of me while sitting in her desk to go in there around 2:30pm office door lock and no sign hmmm... all the stuff from maintenance to office stuff eating in the manager office, not very profesional to unlock the door and see a small party in there. It looks like they have no control from the regional office because is not locate in Washington so if you leave in Washington stay away because they stuff is not control plus if you email corporate they don t care to answer either, I contacted them two months ago and nothing.

It should be 0 stars. When you call the office no one is in and they dont return your calls. You have to send them emails and even with that they DONT CARE. All they are worried about is RIPPING PEOPLE OFF AND TAKING YOUR MONEY. They are so cheap to fix things and have maintenance people that dont know how to fix things. Maintenance says one thing and management says the other thing. Valet trash service is a joke because it doesn't exist. Neighbors dont even care they let their kids run around and scream at all hours of the day and night, neighbors will mess up your car and not even report it to you. There's no security and some of the outside lighting is turned off . Ghetto cars come in and out of the place at all hours with blasting music. There have been several instances where there was drug deals going on.

Best advice i can give is to stay far away from peak living and its properties. They will over charge you on rent and try to get you kicked out when you request for repairs. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME JUST BUY A HOUSE OR RENT ELSEWHERE. WHY STAY WITH A PROPERTY WHERE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU?

They basically added her name to my lease without consulting me or notifying me. I kno this because they didn't even do and background check or credit check on my ex gf. I lived in a property in downtown Salt Lake City for eight years, the last year of which it was owned by Peak. During that year the place went severely downhill. The staff would not even respond to residents in the office in person- I once had to turn off a monitor of an employee so they'd stop staring at their Twitter feed and take my rent check. Upon move out, only part of my deposit was returned despite my being promised a full refund after my move out inspection. The reasons kept changing, and I ultimately had to sue (successfully) to get the remainder. Even then, I had to threaten to send the judgement to a collections agency before they'd pay up.
If you see that little mountain sticker on the window of the leasing office, just save yourself some time and leave.

I live at one of the communities Paseo Del Prado, this place was really bad for a long time. They hired a guy Gary as the assistant manager and all the residents remembered him from before. He came in and just took back the property. Every time that we went in to the office the other guy that was there was always on his phone. Garrett Even out on the property fixing things and freaking power washing the property. Like really, don't you have staff for that? He says, hey they have enough to do to keep your place working good, so I can do this. Besides, it gets me out and about to keep the patios clean...(Davies laugh) He is fun, but yet stricked. Peak Living has recently purchased the Apartment complex I live in. We have been with out Air Conditioner for 9 days... We have called the office with no return call. We went to the office at 5:03pm. The office closes at 5:30pm. How ever the office was closed. Then the next day there was no one in the office the entire day. We literally watched the manager get in her car at 15 minutes till 5pm and then she Left. Keep in mind this is the same day we called and she stated that the maintenance man called out today. She stated she will see what she can do and said that it's not emergency unless it gets above 84 degrees in the apartment. She never called us back.... We have called the emergency number over 7 times and NO one has called us back, we have emailed corporate and still no call back or email... NOTHING HAS HAPPENED... 9 days with it being 87 degrees in my apartment... We pay our rent on time every single month and most of the time it's a week ahead of due date. The manager even parks in the area designated for "future resident parking" everyday. We have been waiting for 9 days and if nothing is done very soon I will go to the BBB and local news stations and explain to them how horrible Peak Living Property Management is. FIX IT or I will and you can deduct it from the monthly rent, but of course y'all want do that because it's all about the dollar not your residents. I don't need you to comment back stating for me to reach out to the property manager or call the emergency number because obviously that has not gone well... JUST FIX THE AIR CONDITIONER. On June 25th I paid to View High Lake Apartments, a Peak living community, a 45 dollar application fee, and gave a 450 dollar deposit in the form of a money order. I had to find a place to live quickly as a seller of the home I was attempting to purchasing canceled the contract at the last min.

On June 27th, I made a in person request at the office to cancel the apartment, as I found a home to purchase. At that time I also requested a refund. I have since left 3 voicemail messages and have now sent 2 emails requesting my money to be returned. I have had little communication and mostly lip service. "The check has been issued." "I bet it it is stuck in forwarding address situation." By comparison, my homeowners insurance was canceled 2 weeks after my first request for a refund from View High apartments. I have recieved that check despite the mail forwarding issues. I will be following up.

Read other reviews, the dismissal of me is in line with how they have treated actual tenants.

I moved into Summit Townhomes 2 years ago. Always paid my rent on time. Never had a warning. Followed all the rules. However, be careful because if you complain, they won t renew your lease. They ll throw you out without regard of the fact that it s your home and they say they need your unit , but don t say why. There is only one conclusion to be drawn. They don t like me. Not that I love it here, but it s very expensive to move two years after you move in. I have been told by the previous management and maintenance people that my unit was impeccable and one of the nicest they ve seen. You would think they would be happy to have people like us living here. We cause no trouble and keep our place very well maintained. I asked for a phone call from Peak and received a very cold letter telling me they need my unit . It s my home. This is shameful. A travesty. Not a way to do business. Be careful peeps. Think twice about moving here. It s very transient and yet they don t appreciate good solid tenants. Head scratching indeed. Good luck! Blessings to all.

Have had an awful living experience in my "Peak Living" apartment complex and when I tried to contact their office the entire office is shut down for 2 weeks for a "summit"? What kind of professional buisiness does that? In a complex of about 40+ buildings there are 6 guest spots. I cant have a friend over I cant even invite my girlfriend over without being towed. My own car with a sticker has been towed from the complex! Been trying to contact them for days and no response. Unprofessional. Not to mention after the hurricane 2 MONTHS AGO they still havent cut down hanging tree branches that pose a danger to peoples lives and vehicles. Simply put, they just dont care. This is the worst management team I've ever had to experience. I've lived at my apartment for almost 2 years and then one more year same location just down another building. So they have just taken over and the problems just keep occurring. They dont take care of the matenience. They are trying to charge us 300 plus for a 800 square foot apartment that is falling apart. The laundry room is so dangerous the fire Marshall came to fine them but still the problem is still here. We used to have maids that clean the stair and theu fired them. One man passed away and they didn't send anyone to check on him for months. And now we have homeless people living in the basement and they won't help. I am so ready to move I can't get out fast enough.

Terrible place to work I was hired part-time and ended up working full-time hours no over time pay no benifits because I was "part-time" was told they were looking for a community manager two months later and they were still looking for a manager they let me the leasing agent run the property alone with no real training. When the regional was on property she refused to talk to the residents that wanted to speak to a manager. I left the company and was owed a weeks pay and in some magical way my hours disappeared and I didn't get my last pay check. I was new to the industry and after working for this company I will never work in property management again.

You live at the whim of your manager. Our manager wasn't putting notices on the doors because he was lazy (he'd tape one to the side of the building). When this resulted in our car getting towed because we didn't know we had to move it, he not only denied that he didn't do his job, he threatened us if we made any kind of record of the conversation and refused to sign anything that said he did post the paper. He then confirmed that he's his own boss and I could only reach out to a generic email or customer complaint number. I did both, and their response was to call the manager. He told them that he gave us warning, and that was the end of the investigation (never mind that I spoke with every resident in two buildings and no one got the paper). The manager gets to have their way with you, and the company doesn't care. (This confrontation thankfully made him start posting notices on the doors.)

As a side note, they only need to give you a few hours notice before they can tow your car or enter your home and remove ("clean") things. Then they charge you a ton of money for the "service". If you ever want to go on vacation or ever stay somewhere else overnight, don't live in one of their apartments.

We also spent several days deep cleaning the apartment (using professional cleaning equipment), only to find out that they take $150 out of every resident's security deposit in order to clean it. Unsurprisingly, the manager was unhelpful and the area manager has disappeared and stopped responding to any communication. This company robs money from you any chance they get.

Have known the company Peak Living for 4-years now and I must confess they're customer service and devotion to not only their residents but their employees has gone above and beyond one would expect from most property management or asset companies. Peak Living is a great company to work for and in my humble opinion they're second to none when it comes to their employees, because they are treated like family.

My 87 year old grandmother lives in a property managed by this company in Atlanta Georgia, Continental Colonies. Her experience since this management company took over a few months ago has been horrible. Requests that she has made for her apartment have gone unanswered and the property manager is very unresponsive and dismissive.

What led me to read reviews on this company was an incident that occurred today. My elderly grandmother was leaving the complex to go to a medical appointment and slipped and fell on a wet rubber mat at the entrance of the property. When other residents who witnessed the fall knocked on the door of the manager's office, she did not respond. It took knocking hard on the door a second time for the manager to open the door. When she did answer she was rude and told them to call the police and slammed the door in their faces.

Not only did the manager not come.out to check on my 87 year old grandmother, but she also hasn't made any attempts to reach out to my grandmother to check on her or to get my grandmother's account of the incident to write an incident report. Police reports have been made and legal action will be taken.

It is clear from the average rating of this management company that their hiring of individuals to represent their company leaves much to be desired.
