I lived in a property in downtown Salt Lake City for eight years, the last year of which it was owned by Peak. During that year the place went severely downhill. The staff would not even respond to residents in the office in person- I once had to turn off a monitor of an employee so they'd stop staring at their Twitter feed and take my rent check. Upon move out, only part of my deposit was returned despite my being promised a full refund after my move out inspection. The reasons kept changing, and I ultimately had to sue (successfully) to get the remainder. Even then, I had to threaten to send the judgement to a collections agency before they'd pay up.
If you see that little mountain sticker on the window of the leasing office, just save yourself some time and leave.
