Pros: nice front desk lady, large hotel, free drinks and hordoeuvres Wednesday and Fridays. Cons: dirty rooms (see pics), small rooms, no microwave, they placed a $47 hold on card, would be nice if they told you upfront and not wait for customers to see the charge. We made a reservation for 2 adults and 2 children, wouldn t it be nice if there were 4 towels in the room? We had to call and request more and they never arrived.

I'm only rating our breakfast experience. They sat us down at 10:50 am..-Kitchen closes at 11 but didn't say anything about the kitchen closing. Only got a chance to eat fruits since when I got up to get more food, the employees were rushing to close the buffet. I asked if I could get something else, and the employee told me they were closed.

Each time I've been here, I've been underwhelmed, especially by the service. The property is teetering on looking a little older too. The live music and events were the saving grace. Otherwise the the trip would've been a bust. It's clean, and a fairly reasonable property but not going out of my way to return.

Stayed at the Marriott after a long drive from Charleston with a colleague. Decor was a bit dated, everything, including wifi, costs something. We stayed as Platinum Elite members, but the experience was very much 'standard', 'average', or any of a number of other adjectives indicative of 'not special'.

My first visit to St. Augustine was not met with great expectations. The hotel room we stayed in was old, toilet did not flush, and the tv did not work. They were able to check us into another room the next day. Overall the hotel was subpar and would not recommend

Beautiful hotel. Was there for a conference. Wished you could play the piano in the lobby downstairs though. Had one of those 'clamps' on, so yo could not open it and play. Great breakfast buffet !

My husband and I usually come and stay here for 10 days . It is very peaceful area and fabulous landscape. Staff is helpful and smooth faced, however, it is possible to face some problems with room service and housekeeping, They may be forgetful and slow.

Mean spirited to rv'ers.

Mean spirited to rv'ers.
We went for a two day Ancient City Con. I parked in a huge empty parking lot during daytime show hours. At night we went to an rv park. On the second day, while I was napping in the front seat, an old man walks up, opens my generator hatch and breaks my generator. I wake up and get out and he runs away.
If I was bothering someone why didn't he tap on the window and ask me. Weird. I won't go to the World of Golf again. By the way my generator is still broken.

We came here for a work convention....Wall inputs for TV do not work, they are just for show. Called maintenance and they confirmed. Shower is as small as a RV bathroom. A/C doesn't work for long periods of time. Staff overall friendly.

Awful customer service. Greatly disrespectful. Never returning, ever. For starters the employees treated us like we were inconveniencing them by being there and Wi-Fi was $8-$13 A DAY!!! Also the cleaning staff stole our beer from the fridge! I was treated as if I didn't belong there and that this resort was too high class for me. I came to Florida with my co-workers to help with the relief effort after hurricane Matthew and our company was paying close to 300 dollars a night for our rooms and the food they had to offer from the kitchen was awful undercooked and overpriced and drinks at the bar were ridiculously pricey. I was looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub after a week worth of 16 to 18 hour days working to help folks who had been effected by the storm but the pool closed early...in fact earlier than most hotels I've ever been to. Also, unfortunately on our last night employees from the cadie shack next door were aloud to keep the pool table for themselves and wouldn't allow guests to join in or take turns claiming that they were going to play until they felt like they were ready to go and the bar tender was allowing this and with out hesitation said he was going to ask us to leave because we were intimidating them and proceeded to call security. All over a pool table game.

The air conditioning/ filtration seemed off, a lot of people were complaining of air quality and were suffering sore throats. The water fixtures in our hotel room were off, with the sink faucet having the wrong directions for the temperatures and couldn't make cold water, and the shower faucet felt like it was going to break because it was so loose. Hotel grounds are very nice though, and staff was pleasant.

Been here three times for conferences. Far from things to do. Hotel is ok but not great. Loud open bar in lobby where you can get a bite at a reasonable price. Drinks were not memorable. Pool area is nice.

One of The nicest places we have stayed. However, we were there September 2-6, 2017, for our granddaughter s wedding. We got a great room rate. This time of the year it cost a little more to stay. However, if I could get a good rate I would stay again without doubt.

Was there for a wedding. The staff are amazing. The bartenders at the lobby bar were awesome, too. Chris, Shawn and Dallas were great! I do think the outside area is too poorly lit at night, which makes it a little unsafe. I sat outside to escape a creeper at the event and another 3 harassed me outside. A guest of said event, and 2 hotel guests. But Dallas kept making sure i was ok. Shout Out!
