I woke up one morning saying to myself I had enough being on opiates for 24 years because of many operations so I decided to call Obr and after calling I decided to go so sept. 5 2015 is the day I got my life back . I had enough of taking 100 roxi 30s in two days . my name is anthony c, this was my first rodeo ive been to and i cant speak for other treatment centers but god forbid i have to come back this is the place to come, the staff has strong sobriety and is extremely helpful in so many ways. this place has helped me tremendously and i wouldn't go anywhere else. the community as a whole is amazing and is always willing to help each other in our times of need no matter how dark of a place you might be in. where always here for each other. there are a plethora of of people here from different spectrum's of the nation and we all have so much to offer each other as an whole. if your thinking of getting help and need somewhere to come this is where you need to be. you will walk out of here with a clear mind and a better understanding of what needs to be done, th tools to fight this disease and be able to be more comfortable with yourself. the owners are very involved with the community and that's very rare from what i hear. there passion is to help people in need and they sure do a stupendous job at it. if you have a problem, they will help you. this place is a 10 out of 10 and i wouldn't go anywhere else in the world. you want strong sobriety and amazing support when you walk in and when you walk out this is the place
This place is a joke and a complete scam. After reading the comments it further tells me my thoughts were right along. It's all true they lie to u to get u in and once your in they take your insurance for a long ride and once your insurance is done paying out the door u go . God forbid u have good insurance they will keep u hostage and lie to your family members to keep u in there and won't allow u to talk to your own family. This place is a scam the so called doctor is a Joke the therapists are all a joke i truly feel they hire joe smokes off the street and dress them up as professionals. Dont listen to the guy on the phone before u go in because they feed u lies to get u in. All they want is your money I would never recommend this place to my worse enemy
First,I like to thank the staff at Arete and am truly grateful to them for teaching me to communicate.Without opening up I would had never found out who I truly am today.Being there during the hurricane made me stronger and the staff did the best they could under the circumstances.People were freaking out with no cigarettes and they made sure everyone had e-cigs until they could get everyone smokes.Nobody, wants to be away from there family and kids but we all went there for one reason and that was to learn how to live sober and starting with Arete they started the journey for me personally. Now,as for OBR,I will be honest I wanted out the first few days but that was because It was a transition for me but once I settled in it was good.I see people writing there scammers and all this other stuff, hey bottom line is business is business and nothing perfect in life but it is how you turn some negatives into positives.OBR taught me that and a lot more positive about my life today then I was before I went to OBR.Over all the staff was great and I miss both at Arete and OBR.I would change some things at OBR but if you like to discuss it give me buzz.Im not saying it was all peaches and cream but I would recommend anyone family or friends to go to OBR.I am truly grateful and thankful to all.Im hoping to come speak at Arete and OBR at the end of the year if guys welcome me.
Hope to see you soon clean and serene.
Thank You
It's not a 5 star hotel but the good thing about it is that it works it did for me I'm 25 years old in I glad to have my things in order again in my life if I didint get clean i would have been dead it a solid program in evrey on of there staff r willing and carrying to help fight u throw it and I had not use drug since I'm happy to be where I am today in I that I never would be but i am in things look up for u thank you
This is for all the family members of the addict especially the wives/girlfriends. I want to start by saying there is absolutely nothing wrong with loving your addict. They are lovable people just like any other person. However I do need to remind you of a few things
1. You didn t cause it
2. You can t control it
3. You can t cure it
That being said there is hope. When your addict is ready to change their life a place like Ocean breeze is there to help.
Meanwhile YOU must get help to. We forget that the disease doesn t just affect the addict but instead it affects everyone around or associated with the addict. It s a very tumultuous relationship because we love the person but hate the addict. Please love yourself enough to seek NARANON. You won t survive this roller coaster ride without support and acceptance. NARANON is a place for us the one who suffers alone with no one to confide in, no one to express our true feelings to without ridicule or judgement. Having to live a double life one where we pretend all is well and we constantly make excuses versus our reality where we are hiding our wallets and belongings or car keys just so that we can get to work in the morning or take the kids to school. We are so exhausted because we can t let our secret to be revealed. NARANON was the best thing I ever did. I have been married over 20 years to my addict and I love him dearly. Only after I began to take care of myself was I able to continue with life while having the person I love suffer next to me. The education that I gain from attending meetings regularly gave me strength and courage and I was no longer ashamed or embarrassed because of my life. It isn t an easy road and sometimes we lose our love ones to the disease but it will definitely give you power you never knew you had and it will help you stay healthy. Thank you Ocean Breeze for helping to guide my husband when HE was ready. Family members please find the nearest NARANON meeting and take the first step in loving you as much as you love the addict.
Wish you all serenity and peace

I can t say enough good things about Ocean Breeze Recovery. I was what they called a chronic relapser and had been to countless treatment facilities. The staff at Ocean Breeze was caring, nurturing and supportive from the the very start, pushing me to be the absolute best version of myself. My case manager, Bernadette (who was the best) helped me navigate my legal issues, which seemed painfully overwhelming, and my therapist helped me realize that my past didn t define me. Thanks to the staff staff at Ocean Breeze and the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous, I haven t picked up a drink or drug since February 14th 20I2.
John I will begin my story with a beautiful blue eyed blond hair young man named Cody who lived in a small town. He enjoyed playing basketball, football and baseball everything was going great, until he was introduced to cocaine and heroin Then everything started to fall apart, it was small at first but continued to get worse as time passed. His mom and I put Cody in several halfway houses over the years it helped for awhile then he would start back. His mom and I had come to a point where we had to make a harsh decision that he was not welcome to come home while using these drugs. There were some of our closest friends & family that could not believe we could do this to our son. Yes, it was hard to do but we were at the end of our rope. If he was to continue to kill himself we were not going to watch. Yes, some call it tough love some call it cruel but we looked at it as a 50/50 chance that we would either get our son back or we would have to plan a funeral for him. Since that time, Cody came home one day and asked for help we sent him away to Ocean Breeze. They helped Cody start recover and is still recovering and doing good as of today. l truly hope this short story will help some family make a hard decision that my help save their child's life.
I came through OBR about 3 years ago, spending the holidays of late 2014-2015 in this treatment center. I went for 28 days, and left on the 29th (If memory serves), moving away from my home in New York, going through this treatment and afterward to a sober living in Los Angeles. I was determined to get help for my opiate addiction and found the right place to do it. I made sure to take notes in groups, ask questions, utilize the staff, and do as many seemingly menial writing assignments as they could muster to put in their binder. This treatment played what I believe now to be an indispensable role in my transition to a new sober life. I was comfortable and well accommodated during my stay at Ocean Breeze Recovery. This is the best treatment center that I have ever attended as a client. I am now coming up on 3 years of continuous sobriety in the program of AA and it all started here. Now I must be frank in saying that there was no outside force could make the drastic inner change that I needed so desperately to get/stay sober. I made the change on the inside before going into treatment - the thing is that although I made the change before treatment, I did not know how to protect that seed of life and give it room to grow. This place was a safe house , provided a soft landing, and was what I believe to be the right spot for me to begin. Have a great journey, keep an open mind.
I had a very positive and life changing experience here at ocean breeze recovery. The staff was very helpful during my intake process and throughout my entire stay. The building we live in is right near the beach, the help you feel as comfortable as possible and they really care about their clients.
Rude, nasty people over the phone. Don't want to find out how they treat vulnerable people in person.
This is most awesomest place in the world. I have never felt the love of having a family or what it was even like until I decided to straighten up my life and get off drugs and go to obr. thanks all of you - i'll recommended you to anyone I know that needs help figuring it out
Day one I was not sure that this was the place that I wanted to be in. I did not see unity or people working towards a common goal, but after a week the tables had turned. I was able to start working on my recovery and start to listen to my fellow peers and their experiences. Day by day I found my story. I took a piece from each person that was good as far as how they dealt with their addiction and applied it to my own life and started to grow. If I hadn t come to OBR I would have not been able to reveal the reason why I chose to be a victim rather than a survivor. I am convinced now more than ever that with the tools given to me by OBR I will not follow the same road I did before and will pave a new road to a better life. All the staff at ocean breeze recovery went above and beyond. They treated everyone equally and were extremely patient anytime of day. With the help of the owners Pete and Kim, OBR gives you a sense of a normal life outside of the walls your caged in with addiction. For example Pete and Kim treat us to dinner every week, bowling, movies, BBQs, pool and beach time. It allowed me to know you can survive without a drink or a drug. It allowed me to know I don t need to be self-medicating. Overall I would highly recommend Ocean Breeze Recovery to anyone.

No identification on voicemails. Multiple over charges. LIES about insurance. LIES about care. Have broke HIPPA.
Good people working here. Made me feel comfortable during my stay. Thank you.
I went for theraputic purposes, and I was not disappointed. I've never had positive experiences with therapy until this place. I learned tools for my foundation I've needed for a long time. And I can't say enough about EMDR. I am extremely grateful. Thanks for going the extra mile for me you guys! God bless you
Place is a joke. They tell you lies to get you or your loved ones in the door and then everything is different. They are def committing insurance fraud. They threaten to not sign proper documentation saying you completed the program for job, court ect until they sucked every penny out of your pocket and your insurance companies pocket. DO NOT GO THERE
My husband is currently being literally held hostage there HE WENT THERE on his own it was not court ordered now they re trying to keep him for the money and refuse to honor the fact that we were told 45 days. If he were told it had to be 90 plus days he would have chose a different rehab. I have medical conditions & finically you cannot expect that every person can afford to stay this long. I will exploring legal options & letting the medical board know.
This isn't only a great place to get sober, it's a great place to be sober. They helped me learn to be accountable and to handle life when it throws s**t at me. All the staff is great but special shout out to Dave Greer and Chris Penn. OBR saved my life.

Sober date 7-1-16
ocean breeze recovery has been the best treatment center i have been to out of the other 11 places. the owners and staff truly care about the clients and will go out of their way to make them feel comfortable. I will always suggest this treatment program to any one who needs help.
Ocean Breeze Recovery is one of the best treatment centers around. The staff is phenomenal and mostly in recovery, so there's support 24/7. The residence is clean and comfortable, and every group teaches the clients about recovery and how to do it. I have such a better understanding of my addiction and how to treat it. Even after I leave, I know that I will always have the love and support of Ocean Breeze.
To anybody that want's to hear my story?
My name is Mark, and I am an Alcoholic. This sounds like an AA meeting already.
I am 60 years old.
I remember when JFK died.
I remember when Martin died.
I remember when Bobby died.
And I remember when my mom died.
But the most important date for me in my life, is the day that I stopped drinking!
I started drinking beer in High School. Started smoking Pot and snorting Cocaine in college, I snorted Cocaine till I was 30 years old. It was the 80"s , and Cocaine was not addictive then? Remember people saying that? I lived in a great 2bdrm Duplex Loft in Greenwich Village.I got married had two beautiful daughters, and eventually moved to a house
in Armonk, NY.
In 2006 my wife threw me out of the house, with a restraining order on my 48th Birthday. I violated the Restraining Order the next day,and a detective in the Armonk Police Department who was a friend, asked me to turn myself in for the violation, I drove to the Police Station that same day DRUNK! Talk about "good people making bad decisions"! Spent a few days in jail, got a DUI, and Court Ordered Rehab. That was the day I decided I had to STOP DRINKING!
Well 10 years later in 2016 I finally stopped drinking. I checked myself in to Ocean Breeze Rehabilitation in Florida. This time not court ordered. It was my second time in Rehab. I connected with a great counselor David Greer. and he and others there saved my life, and brought me back to sanity. Clean and Sober now over 2 1/2 years. And there is a difference between being clean and being sober. So I am only really sober for One year. Clean for 1 1/2 years. I hope that this message will be of value to at least one person who might think they are an alcoholic.
God's Speed To All.

My experience at Ocean Breeze not only saved my life but gave me a life. I came to Ocean Breeze after going to over 25 inpatient treatment centers and was completely hopeless at giving recovery another chance. The thing that I found here that was different than any other facility I had been to in the past was that the staff actually cared for me and and loved me until I was able to love myself. I was able to gain the hope and faith I needed here to build a foundation for my recovery and finally complete a treatment program with a sense of self awareness and the desire to stay sober. Thank you to the staff and loving owners of Ocean Breeze I have been sober since May 27,2012.
Wow I laugh to myself reading a lot of the replies from "OBR" this place is like any other rehab: A BUSINESS. They care about MONEY over everything. You can see that everyday when you arrive at the center and look at what type of cars are parked in the C.E.O, C.F.O, spots. You can also see where all your insurance money is going when you look at the owner's wife (lol!). Anyways to be serious, I attended this rehab last month. I was lied to on the phone a LOT which I'm not going to get into. (Pete: please talk to the people who answer phones they're lying to people to get them in!) As soon as you get there, all of your stuff gets comfinscated and you are strip searched (like you're entering jail) and metal detected (overkill, much?). This place cares about the people they favor, below is true. I have never been to a treatment place where people can AMA all day long and come back whenever they want?? Are you KIDDING me? You have a bunch of addicts in a motel and you think people wont just follow suit? UGHHH! The "nutrition" is a joke. Everyone here lives off frozen pizza and candy thats where the 70 dollars is going to. The guy clients catcall the girls all day. For every 1 girl there is about 5 guys. One tech in paticular (cant remember her name) shoves religion down your throat so far you can taste it. THere are four approved stations in the van (christian radio isnt on that list) she forces the van to listen to christian cds or radio, if everyone complains she turns it up louder, also told a client she'd "check back with her in 28 days" when she said she's not going to listen to christian music (implying that she'd relapse if she didnt) real """Caring"""" LMAO. I could go on for days about the flaws in the system. This place is like a puppy mill for drug addicts. They take you in for as long as your insurance provides a check then kick you to the curb. Also agree that paige is the worst therapyst ever. i had Donna she was alright. Trauma group forces you into uncomfortable positions. I had multiple techs make fun of other clients to me so i can only imagine they do that to everyone. Male techs flirt with female clients in med line. Over heard a male tech tell a female client she was "his favorite" so it doesnt suprise me one was fired for dating a patient..lmao. The sub taper is a lie they detox you so fast youre still withdrawing horribly but they force you to get up and go even if youre puking. They dont care about anyone and keep billing me too.
I went here 5 years ago and I owe them a lot of thanks for saving my life. I ve been clean for 4 years now. Most of the staff do a great job, and a lot of them will go out of their way to help you if you re having a tough time. I met my More
This treatment center was beyond anything I had expected. I came here for my first rehab and everyone here was so welcoming and loving. I felt as if I was home and I belonged somewhere for the first time. The owners are always there and willing to talk to anyone to help them out. All the staff as well know who you are and always are asking how you are doing. I am beyond impressed with the services I recieved in this place. I can't thank this place enough for the wonders it did in my life.
Good day to all! Today is a good day for a great day! I was asked by Delphi to give a little story on my life with drug and alcohol abuse, and I MEAN ABUSE in later years.
My name is not important, but the results of my treatment is, and I thank Arete Detox, OBR, and Defining Moments Recovery, and the entire staff of the Delphi family. I wouldn t be sharing this if not for them. This will be condensed, but I hope you get the picture.
I m 63 yoa from a hard working family. I ve worked since I was 8-9 years old and retired at 62 yoa. My parents were not alcoholics, just worked hard. We moved a lot because of my father s job, a lot of schools and not many close friends. I started smoking cigarettes at 9 and smoked my first joint at 13yoa, and my first beer around the same time. New schools are hard and peer pressure is harder. One thing led to another, and by high school, I was doing mushrooms, downers, and a little acid.
I finished school in south Florida and worked every day. I smoked a lot of weed and drank almost every day. Then came cocaine and PCP. I thought I could drink more with the coke and I did. This went on for a couple years and then I moved north to a nice small town, got married to a great girl, had a beautiful daughter, and I messed that up with drinking. We got divorced and I hit the road Fla, Ark, NJ, NY, OH, IL, Ok, Cali, and Canada, without missing a drink. A lot of years trying to maintain.
Fast forward to 1991, met a woman who got me sober for 10 years. I had a heart attack in 1998, split up with her in 2001 or 2002, went back to the bottle. That was a big mistake, OD ed on booze. Spent 9 days in the hospital, had another heart attack, went right back to the bottle.
Finally, I retired and moved back home, still drinking then, moved again and got real, real bad. Better than a quart a day, back in the ER, alcohol level was better than 4.0, must be a God and a reason This is where a really good friend got me into Arete Detox and the bad times ended there. I , a happy camper with 402 days of being sober and loving it. I ve got a great family and wonderful grandkids, I m just feeling great! I know God has a plan, and I hope this helps at least 1 or more. I wouldn t be alive today if not for Delphi. So, if you want to make it to 63 and beyond, break away from your Demons!
Remember- I can. I will. I must. Something I picked up at Arete, and it works.
Thank you all and Good Luck.
Ocean breeze Recovery has lovely facility being that it was my first time in a rehabilitation facility and I have see worse places in my line of work. This place offered me a space where I could learn and grow as an individual in the time that I spent there away from my family. They taught me the essential skills needed to become an effective member of society without needing alcohol (My DOC). Through counseling, classes, and small groups they gave me the tools I needed to stay sober that I had never received before. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and always there to provide support when needed. From my intake experience, to my drive to the airport to return home; I felt validated and heard. Ocean Breeze Recovery taught me how to love myself, gave me my voice back, and taught me how to trust again and not be afraid of people. They gave me the things I had lacked in my life so that I could stay sober. They taught me that sobriety was a lifestyle change and that I had to make the decision, want the change and make the change . The support even goes beyond the OBR walls, all I do is pick up the phone text, call email and they still listen and help even to this day. In just went to an alumni gathering for OBR and it was nice to see fellow clients and that they are doing well. Best of all to see Katie coz she rock. I will eternally be grateful for the establishment they gave me hope, my life back and my family back because I put in the work they asked of me thank you.
My son was in treatment at Ocean Breeze Recovery for over 100 days. Although our insurance did not cover the last 4 weeks of treatment I m glad he has shown great progress so far. His therapist along with my son called us each week for an update on his treatment program. I would recommend it highly.
My stay at Ocean Breeze has been a wonderful experience. I never thought I could have so much fun at rehab. The owners, Pete and Kim, are tremendously involved and you see them almost everyday. They care so much about each and every client. Each staff member is committed to their job and is willing to go above and beyond to help you. They will take time out of their busy day to talk to you and some even show up on their days off to help. I've learnt a lot in group about my disease and picked up many tools and coping stills that will help me stay clean and sober. The community is very strong and feels like a family. Ocean Breeze is a wonderful treatment facility and I would recommend it to any addict looking to get clean.
I was able to learn a lot from Ocean Breeze and for a rehab facility, it is extremely above the average. There are many offered activities to encourage growth during recovery and the clients are great and easy to get along with. There was, however, during my stay, a lack in organization and cohesiveness in the staff which caused for confusion and delay at times throughout the day. During the end of my stay this had been worked out for the most part, but for the first segment of my stay there was a lot of waiting around and awaiting details on what to do next.
Overall, I had a very positive learning experience at Ocean Breeze, and I consider myself lucky to have been placed in this facility as opposed to another one. The outside meetings were helpful, the staff for the most was very friendly, and many people there went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as positive and as enjoyable as humanly possible (given the circumstances, of course).
There s not enough stars to rate a Facility & Staff who showed me the way to brighten my own - who enabled my light to illuminate through love & gratitude...
Then something happened inside of him that transformed his life forever. He looked at his hands, he felt his body, and he heard his own voice say. "I am made of light, I am made of stars." He looked at the stars again, and he realized that it's not the stars that create the light, but rather the light that creates the stars.
- Don Miguel Ruiz, The Four Agreements
I d like to thank my Primary Therapist Samantha, National Alumni Director Katie Dalo, Gina, the passionate facilitators, techs, medical team, admissions & the rest of the OBR staff for their wisdom, leadership & compassion as I started the journey of piecing my life back together... One day at a time.
I love you all and I am forever grateful.
my experience at ocean breeze recovery has been great. they offer great support and amazing staff. the amenities they have here allow u to also have fun. they provided me with all the proper tools to continue in my recovery and to be successful. over all an awesome experience, number one in my book.
An eye-opening experience that made me understand to let go but not let go of myself while helping my husband recover from his addiction
Unreal experience. All the staff is educated and respectful of the disease of addiction. Groups are usually exciting and extremely useful. Weekend activities are always a lot of fun. Going to the gym and the beach makes recovering easy. Facility is beautiful.
My experience at Ocean Breeze Recovery will be one a lifetime. The group sessions opened us up to see what we were really up against dealing with addiction. My counsellor Heather gave me very valuable one on one time that brought feelings and memories back and helped me to process them and move forward. The comraderie that was shared by the residents was strong and heart felt. The Community that stands strong together helps to prop up those that were weaker. This is something we can't handle alone. The outside meetings we attended showed us how to conduct ourselves in real meetings for when we would go home. The staff cared about our well being and help us as much as they could. With the things I learned and experienced from Ocean Breeze Recovery, I am applying everyday to stay SOBER. 19 MONTHS STRONG!!!
Worst rehab ever. They lie to you and take advantage of your insurance. Don't recommend it at all. My insurance company even said not to go back again. And they keep on sending you huge bills that they say they are ganna pay for but they don't. Total scam.
Two and a half years ago I was given the opportunity to stop and hit the reset button on a life that was spiraling. I had been in decline for several years. I had a lot more going on beneath the surface than I had the ability to see, and definitely more than I could handle on my own. It has taken work but I m happy with where I m at these days... I see how much I have grown and changed for the better. Even when life gets complicated, I am excited to see what will come next. (My old self would be in fear and decision paralysis.). I have been able to connect with people in healthy ways and now have relationships that, in the past, always seemed out of my grasp. My self awareness continues to grow and that keeps me motivated. Most of all, I know that there is always hope and a solution out there for me. OBR, Delphi, and the alumni network continue to support my wellness... and we still get together and do fun stuff! For anyone really trying to figure things out, stay open minded and be willing to embrace the process. It won t always be comfortable or easy but will ALWAYS be WORTH IT. You re not alone.
PLEASE READ!!! I will start off by saying the ocean breeze that is in the picture is not where you are going. They stick you in a facility that is seperated by a wooden fence and on the other side is the mentally insane criminals. Also no matter what they tell you on the phone you will not get anything. 1 phone call a week which is on speaker infront of a employee and if you start to say anything about the facility click you've lost your 1 phone call. They get you in at your lowest point and hold you hostage. I had to leave because of personal reasons and would have been in a worst position then when i started. So i was forced to put in a 72 hour notice which they keep all of your things for 72 hours. If you didnt know, you cant get in a hotel, you cant get money, and you cant travel without your ID. I was put on the streets of florida to fend for myself with NOTHING. I have no idea how the owners sleep at night. Also to put it in perspective at one point 20 out of the 30 patients were organizing a sit down strike because you are a prisoner and they tell you absolutely nothing. They want to keep you there as long as possible and suck every penny out of your insurance. Most important they couldn't care less about you or your family. If you have kids tough, sick family member? Well they dont do that. You will not be able to speak to anyone. Also if you try to get any information they tell you "you need to talk to this person" which that person sends you right back to where you started. You will have no help or ability to make plans to get home when you finished and god forbid you dont plan ahead a bring money to get home because they will get you there but youre on your own getting home. As most of you know a plane ticket booked on the day of is about 3 times as much as if you were able to book ahead of time, but you wont know when youre leaving until the day you are leaving. Its not a set 28, 45 or 90 days. It could be any day "they" see fit. Hope you choose wisely and dont choose this jail. Oh and forgot to add, they are more then happy to pay for you and arrange for you to get their but whether you finish the program or not they will not help you or allow you to make arrangements or pay for you to get home.
My wife went there and came out a zombie. They say they will include the family but instead they cut off the family and disregarded any helpful information from the family. Instead, they listened to and believed the addict going in, telling lies and twisting their problems to make it appear the issue is not with them but outside influences. In my opinion, it's a fraud to take the word of an addict without consulting the family or friends. Like the others said, they just want your money.
Great facility, professional staff. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for help on their road to recovery!
My experience was good. This place has helped me to remain sober now for almost 9 months. They make you get out of your comfort zone which helped me a lot.
OBR is an awesome place to recover. All the staff treats the clients very well. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs help with addiction.
I went to this treatment center back in 2016 and it was an incredible experience. It was my first ever time trying to get sober with treatment and I could not ask for a better experience. Everyone here was very motivated and involved and I loved the sense of community and hope. The schedule was great and I loved that the residence was across the street from the beach. I don't know if they still do it, but they used to take us to the beach at sunrise for yoga and meditation! (optional of course) ... the staff was SO caring and knowledgeable. I stayed sober for 8 months after this treatment center but eventually had to get more treatment and went to a Christian program that one of OBR's staff members had told me about. I've been sober for 2.5 years now. Will always be grateful for my time at OBR and fond of the treatment program that got me started on the better path.
There is no control or recovery going on in the insane asylum. M**k the counselor is the worst person. After my loved left and got into a real rehab center, we finally put an end to addiction. Dont waste your time or money.
All about the money. They do not care at all and will lie to get you into the program.
The time I have spent here at Ocean Breeze has been extremely helpful. The staff here is understanding and very caring.
This place has changed a lot. It use to be a great place for recovery, but now they will just discharge people when the people has no financial way of buying a plane ticket back to their home states. Staff is great but the way they handle business is 90% draining your insurance and 10% about really caring about your recovery.
Ocean breeze was one of the better places I've been. As far as staff, treatment and facility. Good initial program, great aftercare program.
This place is a complete scam. They told me my son qualified for in patient treatment because they wanted to get him there so they can rip off my insurance company for detox. They know insurance pays for detox so they salespeople tell u anything you want to here to get your loved one there. Their website claims they do an evaluation and give the patient individualized treatment Once they realized my insurance company wouldn t pay inpatient they put my son in some version of outpatient which gave him freedom to go where ever he wanted. Within 5 days my son was using drugs again. They ripped of my insurance company for over 30k. When I called my salesperson to complain he hung up on me. I wrote letters to the ceo and he stopped replying once he got paid from my insurance. The don t care about the patient they only care about billing your insurance company for as much as they can and then they are off to the next victim.
Ocean Breeze is a very good rehab center. The staff and owners show an unusual amount of care for their patients. Most of the people here agree. I have previously been to two other rehab centers. One concern I have about Ocean Breeze is that the majority of patients here range from 18 to 24. Since I am in my 30's, I have felt out of touch with the general group at times. However, all in all, I recommend going to Ocean Breeze to start your recovery.
ocean breeze is amazing, they really care about the people who are here and treat all the clients with love an respect. they teach great ways for individual recovery for us and show us in ways words couldnt describe. im grateful beyond words for the help ocean breeze gave to me.
