Paid $40 for expedited service. They called me 3 hours later to tell me the won't have the parts for another 5 days. Had I know upfront I could have taken it somewhere else. I wasted an afternoon and money. I understand with covid they're super busy, have to prioritize and don't need my business. But when COVID is over I won't be coming back or recommending it to anyone.

I was hesitant to bring my computer in to anyone, but genuinely needed a second opinion.. and honestly a second pair of eyes. Because this was a build that worked. That I knew everything aboutn I.e. A dyi mini itx gaming pc that still holds up. (Short story) But, I brought it in, and Ryan was more than helpful. After looking at it, testing everything, and finally expertly diagnosing my pc with a shorted out motherboard (which was current, probably due to a screw that was loose in the case) He came back to me, offered me ridiculous options that I had specifically asked for. And days later when I was rebuilding the pc with new parts.. I called him with a issue. He walked me through every issue he could think of. Treated me like an equal (as someone with limited knowledge) And helped me fix the issues. Best pc technician around. Thanks again dude.

Bringing my work Imac to Charlotte Street was stressful and nerve racking. Justin (hope I got his name right) was fantastic and honest and fast. He kept me abreast of what they did and even researched my problem with my Imac enough to get the majority of the work done under warranty. My computer was fixed timely and cheaply and with zero stress. I will always go to Justin and Charlotte Street Computers from now on. Thanks!

These guys are horrible! Please, don't waste your money. Numerous people have complained to me about them. They send a different tech out every time, and you never get to know your computer guy. I'm sorry, but isn't the point of having a computer guy, to have someone you can count on, not just a dollar amount to them? Please, just go to a local computer company that gives you a personal tech that you can come to know and trust PERSONALLY!

I had a very pleasant, informative experience this morning at CSC!! Jesse Eastwood took a lot of his time and shared his expertise in answering all my questions about transitioning from a pc to a Mac Air. This is my second time at CSC (first to have a keyboard replaced - they were fast and affordable), and both visits have been excellent. 6 stars, not 5!

This is supposedly an Apple certified store. My problem was very basic and they pretty much refused to help. They even told me that there were other options I should choose so that I "wouldn't have to come back!"

I had a very disappointing experience with Charlotte Street Computers this time. I have taken my computers there previously and have been happy with their service in the past. This time, I brought in a computer that was running fine, just slightly slow. I was trying to be proactive, get it serviced before problems showed up. After they ran a "diagnostic", I was told by them that there were programs running at start up or in the background that were slowing down the computer and was offered an additional "advance tune up" which I declined. When I tried to use the computer at work the next day it was EXTREMELY slow, so slow as to be non-functional. I called and reported this to Charlotte Street and they simply said I needed to have gotten an "advanced tune up". No matter how much I told them that I had dropped off a functional computer and returned with a practically non-functional one, they refused to consider the fact that something had happened to the computer as a result of running the "diagnostic". I did not feel heard as a customer. I did not like their service or their attitude and did not feel that I could trust them enough to bring my computer back to them. I took it to Best Buy instead. I will not be doing business with Charlotte Street Computers anymore.

I did not have a good experience with this company. I have applecare and they claimed I had water damage to my laptop and wanted to charge me extra. They kept my laptop for 2 days and when I received it, it was in worse condition than before. I did not have water damage. I took my laptop to an actual apple store and they fixed my laptop with no problem and I did not have to pay anything. I will never do business with this company again. They are dishonest.

Customer service was ok, follow up consultation for a high end machine I had serviced was absolutely terrible. Machine was serviced twice through charlotte street, still having hardware issues. In between those two services not once was the machine even dusted and cleaned out from the inside, I was told that was a courtesy with the 65-85 dollar diagnostic which is mandatory before any type of "fix" can begin. Total scam, I recommend elsewhere.

Took my 8 year old MacBook Pro in. Was sure it was something that would mean buying a new computer. Matt put in a new Solid State Hard Drive for a fraction of a new MacBook and my "vintage" computer works like new!! Thank you!

i've never rated anyone on the internet before, but the service and the people at CSC are so remarkable that i will do so now. i've been buying and servicing my apple products there for 6-years now and i have yet to be disappointed. on the contrary, they have always exceeded my expectations. the staff is kind and patient i'm not mr. super-tech guy and they have been able to solve any issue or problem i've had...and i've had plenty. thank you, CSC. you guys are outstanding. -- dvk

Very lengthy menu process with hurdles when calling. No human contact and no way to leave a message. This is totally not like other Asheville computer repair companies. They need to improve, not hamper, interfacing with the initial call from clients that need help.

Wonderful folks there. Tom, Michael and Sean have been more than helpful: encouraging and patient. I did call with Wifi question and was told I would have to come in. I thought it needed to be solved at home (out in the country via cable) rather than in their shop. My son quickly sorted it all out. Maybe I didn't explain the situation clear.y.

I needed help fixing my laptop and stopped by for some thermal paste. Not an easy item to find, and the helpful crew found some for me. They didn't even charge me for it, and I was able to get my machine working in no time. Thanks so much!

If i could give a negative star i would. i took my computer in for a virus on 11/23/13 and was told i would have it back before thanksgiving which was 11/28/13. i got it back on 12/2/13. in this time i called for updates on what was going on because they were not calling me. the man working on it was 'not available' so i asked if he could call me back. he never did once. when i got the computer back i lost everything. there were no pictures (my wedding pictures included ), no documents which included passwords for such things like credit cards, banks, job applications etc, resumes, references. my whole life was on that computer and it was gone. the security system that i purchased was gone as well as Microsoft office. it turns out that Charlotte Street Computers took all my data off the computer to fix it and just never put it back. another week goes by as they try to find the data that they 'backed up'. i had to bring my computer back to them to 'fix' again. it is now 3 weeks since i brought in my computer and i have yet to get it back. working correctly. the only positive thing i can say is that they are not charging me extra for the time.

I had a my family computer that charlotte street not only charged me financially for, But further made the situation worst and would not take responsibility for the damages with no answers other than to contact dell, even though the computer was out of warranty. Just like mentioned before this computer store is very well known in the community for getting over on it's clients. stay as far away as possible.

Went in and asked if someone could put on a brand new, still in the box, Zagg Invisible Shield for my iWatch. Figured they had more experience. Guy said, not a problem... he broke the shield putting it on! I offered that we square up with another shield that they would give me (Speck brand, cheaper) and I would also purchase a new watch band. They took absolutely NO responsibility for the breakage; not even an apology. Said Zagg, which has a lifetime warranty, was an inferior product; they sell them! They offered NOTHING for messing up; not exactly friendly customer service for their advertised We are an Apple Premium Service Provider, and are authorized for Mac Repair, and almost everything Apple has ever made*. Never stepping in those doors again and my house is nothing but Mac.

My last visit the front people were very friendly however when I asked a technician who came up from in Back he was short tempered a question hebecame short tempered. Must be having a bad day. Looking for a new computer repair place.

We got a new PC and Charlotte Street Computers moved all of our files/pictures and even my email folders from the old XP computer to the new Windows 8 pc. They even set up the start page like the old computer. Going from XP to 8 is not an easy task, something I dreaded, I just knew our files would be lost, but Charlotte Street Computers has made it so easy for us. Thank you to the techs, you did a wonderful job moving us to Windows 8. Update--Oct 2016, Charlotte Street Computers fixed a problem I was having on this computer after going to Windows 10, thank you, you guys are the best

After spending dozens of hours and money, we were still unable to get our problem resolved and were told we'd need to replace our one-year old computer or live with the problem. In my last effort, I called Charlotte St. to learn if they had ever heard of this problem and was immediately connected to Mike Merideth (sp?) who instantly said it had to be a simple setting. Within a few minutes, he was able to fix my problem, was exceedingly patient and incredibly fair about the small fee. I only wish I had called them initially.

Terrible customer service, not sure if they know what they are doing. They replaced my screen and then the case, on 2 separate occasions. Both replacements went bad, so I went again (1 hr 5 minutes each way) and they re-replaced both the screen and now the board. When I asked for them to ship it back at their cost, because the last time I spent $50 shipping rather than going there, they said "Well, the issue is between you and Apple, as they provide the parts". I have already started a case with Apple, as I was referred to Charlotte Street Computers by them. Guess what? I got my laptop Saturday, as of yesterday morning (Monday) screen not working correctly and now it is not even turning on. Saying that the issue is between me and Apple is like getting your transmission changed, then it's stops working, and your mechanic says "Oh, it's between you and Ford, call them". I would have been better off just shipping to Apple directly from the get go, my experience with Apple on the phone has been excellent so far, definitely cannot say the same about this place.

A big high five to the team at Charlotte Street Computers! My husband and I own a retail store in town and have had problems all week after we switched our POS system over to an internet cloud based program. Everything went smoothly until our internet went out. Our ISP suggested we reset our router and then all he** broke lose! To make a long story short, I called CSC and they re-arranged their schedule to accomodate our emergency. Additionally, the tech they sent out, Keith, was awesome! Not only did he fix everything back to perfect, but he set up wireless printing we didn't have and did some extra add on goodies to make our transition smooth. Also, he explained everything in layman's language and was very personable to boot! I would highly recommend this team to anyone that asked. Thanks Charlotte Street for saving us before a busy weekend!!!!

These guys did an amazing job recovering the data off one of my hard drives that had run into a dirty power source and wouldn't turn on. I was in the middle of a cross country road trip, and they were excellent about turning it around in 24 hours so I could get back on the road... With peace of mind that my data wasn't gone for good. As someone coming from New York, their prices for data recovery / transfer are insanely reasonable - much less than half of what I would have to pay back home. A very knowledgeable, helpful, and nice team! Two thumbs up.

5 stars are not enough for this great company!! I had an emergency cracked screen and only had 4 days in Asheville before my next gig. These guys went above and beyond and got it back to me in 3 days at a fair price and with unbelievable customer service. I was sure they would be tired of hearing from me after I called the 5th time in a row to ask another silly question but they took there time and explained everything down to the last detail and the whole process went as smooth as possible! A+++

I had a great experience with this company. I took my sick computer of 3 years and it works just like the day it was built. They worked with me in every aspect that was wrong with my pc and even upgraded hardware for the price quoted since they didn't have the same hard drive in stock. Do not recommend for anything the owner intently lied to me and judged me off of a review my mother posted about the owner s personal life. Then continued to judge my mother and i. I didn t want to give a review but reviews are for the public to tell their experience they had about the company. I feel like I didn t have a chance to show my abilities and knowledge that i have towards the work environment. It wasn t fair to me as an individual human being to be judged by someone who doesn t know me and assumes that i am not capable enough to keep personal life and work life apart from each other. Also owner was very unprofessional no privacy during interview, answering phone while i was introducing myself. Dont recommend for a job.

For the past 12 years we have been purchasing all our computer, IPad, Apple watch, needs from Charlotte Street Computers. The incredibly fantastic service NEVER changes! I had a computer break down in the middle of an extremely busy work week. It was not a good time for this to happen. Matt took care of everything for me in best manner possible. He turned a stressful moment into calmness. We know, that so long as we live in or near Asheville, we will never go anywhere else for our computer needs. They charged me $48 to try and recover images from a recently formatted SD card. I read online that it is very possible to do. And most recovery programs cost about 50 bucks. They told me they weren't able to to go pick up my card I had paid $48 and it took him two days disappointing in the least I just think it's a lot of money to pay for them putting the card into the computer so the program can scan it.

I had the best experience here this week. I brought my computer in monday and jt was fixed the very next day and for significantly less than I was expecting. When it was returned from hard drive replacement, they also had cleaned it and it looked better than when I dropped it off. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and so kind. Thank you so much !

For many of us, when our computer fails, it constitutes a mini-crisis. Yes, I have a backup, but my workflow is seriously interrupted without my primary laptop in action. There are two main ways for a business that serves customers in this position to treat customers, especially new clients like myself: exploit or help. Charlotte Street Computers seems to be 100% dedicated to "Help." The staff is knowledgable, tech savvy and able to communicate - the last two are less common than you might expect. The management of the place is structured so that one employee can easily fill in for another when they are off work. I honestly hope they do not change because of reviews like this. This place is close to my ideal business for the service it provides. And they guarantee their work.

My wife and I have been going to Charlotte Street (after trying City Mac for a few months) for over 2 years. Stellar service every time - patient, knowledgable and always ready to go the extra mile. We've brought our IMac, 2 MacBook Pros, and have also gotten lots of extra (free) information about various software programs we're working with. I don't remember ever getting such good service back in New York City or in Greenville, SC.

What a rare treat to have someone who is competent, honest, thorough and at an extremely reasonable price. Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I have a friends who shipped me their computer from Burkina Faso West Africa due to an overheating issue...at least we thought. I am an IT Pro and was going to work at getting the situation remedied until I called Charlotte Street Computers. They handle these issues all of the time and their pricing was incredibly reasonable for out of warranty service on the mac. I was so impressed that I left my MacBook Pro there as well to have them reapply the heat-sink paste as a preventative measure on my machine. After reapplying the heat-sink paste they did testing of the Macbook Pro from West Africa and determined that there was actually the graphics card on the logic board. I started to get nervous about how much it would cost, but they totally worked with me and did not change the agreed upon charges without my approval. Apple ended up covering the logic board as a matter of customer service and Charlotte Street made the repair. I know where I will be going and sending anyone who asks to get their computer repaired.

A TALE OF TWO VISITS. I am having a problem with the MACBOOK Pro I purchased from Charlotte Street Computers a few years back. It isn't a big problem. For some reason I am losing my Internet connection minutes after coming online. I am computer illiterate so I figured I must have pushed the wrong key or something. I thought I'd stop by the home store and ask if somebody could take a quick look at it. I'm talking no more than a minute or two to see if I had screwed it up. So briefly explain what is going on with my Macbook to the gentleman manning the counter. I asked him if he could take a quick look at my settings and see if I had turned something off, etc. He told me he knew NOTHING about computers and that if I wanted a technician to look at it I'd have to check it in for diagnostic tests. I explained to him that I needed my computer and checking it in really wasn't something I had planned for. I asked again, "Isn't there anybody who can take a minute to look at it. He reiterated to me that was not possible. At this point I really didn't have a choice so I decided to check it in. The person "checking" my computer had a few questions, i.e., Address, phone number. He asked me to repeat again what was going on with my Macbook. So I repeated to him the problem I was experiencing and as I was explaining the issue he interrupted me, "That's enough. I'm not writing a novel." That was kind of rude but isn't the reason I am writing this review. So after 10 minutes or so he started to put a service request sticker on my computer. He said, "To run diagnostics it is $80 paid in advance." I suggested to him that in the future he tell the customer upfront about the $80 service charge. But that is not why I am writing this review. I told him I had no problem paying to get it fixed but that I really didn't believe it was an $80 problem.. By then a technician emerged from the back. "Now this guy knows his way around a computer. He can help me!" So I asked him, "Could you take a minute and look at my computer and see why it is losing the internet connection minutes after starting it up?" He was my knight in shining armor! He looked at me and said curtly, "And I could break it in a minute too!" WHAT? Did he really just say that? I was speechless. This guy, well to be honest, both of these gentlemen were the opposite of helpful. Not only that, they made me feel foolish, like I was oblivious to the way of the computer tech... WHICH I AM! They are supposed to make me feel comfortable and take solace in knowing I am in good hands. Yet still that is not why I am writing this review. You see, the day before I had brought the same Macbook into the same store. I was waited on by a very kind and empathetic young gentlemen. I explained to him that I could not get my Macbook to start up. He grabbed my Macbook, with no fear that he might BREAK IT, to a work area behind the counter. Within minutes he had my computer fired up! He took a look at my power cord. "This is the problem. You have the wrong power cord. Your Macbook needs the 85W power cord. The cord you are using is meant for a much smaller computer." I had no idea! So he went and got me one. It retailed for $79 plus tax. I also purchased a phone adapter for my car. My bill came to a little over $90. And I was happy to spend the money. I had worried the Macbook was ruined. He told me I should get another 5 years or so out of the Macbook before I'd need to replace it. He then took the time to look at a picture of my two iMacs, one purchased in 2008, the other in 2011. He told me the older computer was basically useless but the 2011 iMac, with a servicing etc., for about $300 would be viable for another 2 or 3 years. And that is why I am writing this review. I have done a lot of business with Charlotte Street Computers. And my interactions with staff have always been exemplary. Including my visit yesterday, (Thursday, September 12, 2019.) But what happened today, well there is no excuse for that. It's laughable. And I imagine quite embarassing to the ownership of the business.

This place has been great to me, especially in helping me keep my 7-year-old Macbook Pro humming along with a new SSHD and some other, minor fixes. Today I was experiencing an odd problem--my machine connected to Wi-Fi and Ethernet networks but wouldn't access the Internet. They did some troubleshooting for 10 minutes or so, then found a simple fix--for free!

I logged on to my computer (Sony Vaio) to search for some old pictures that I wanted to print off, only I couldn't find my pictures! They had somehow "disappeared"! I couldn't find them anywhere, and researched how to locate lost files on the internet but to no avail. I was devastated, because I thought I had lost all of my pictures that were, supposedly, safely stored on my computer. I decided to reach out to Charlotte Street Computers because they have a great reputation, and many of my friends go there when they need assistance with their computers. I told them the issues that I was having and they had my computer back to me within 2 business days! They found my pictures and now my computer is running better than ever! If you are having issues with your computer, I highly recommend taking it to Charlotte Street Computers! Jen Mayer and her staff are very professional and extremely helpful!

I dropped off a late 2015 iMac that was painfully slow - simple browsing was a chore. They called 2 days later and explained that the hard drive was mechanical (which is inherently slow). Also, the 4+ years of OS updates compounded the issue. They replaced the hard drive with a SSD drive and now my iMac runs better than it did the day I bought it. Service was speedy, the price was reasonable, and communication was exemplary!

Writing this from my newly fixed Macbook Pro! A previous mac specialist on biltmore told me that they were going to lose all my files, pics, etc and that it would cost up to a few thousand for repairs- obv pushing me to get a brand new laptop. Oh, and they had it for two and a half weeks. Charlotte St Computers, however, fixed it in three days for $180. A lot of money, but relatively, $180 wouldn't have bought me a spacebar at the other place. These guys are totally helpful and very professional. They called me each day to update me and to see what I wanted to move forward with, so I never felt like they were pushing me into expensive corners. Definitely going back.

FANTASTIC.. This is about the 7th or 8th computer/iPad we have purchased from this place.. and each time has been "okay"... Tom continues to be there to help,...BUT... this time it was different in that a young man, Aaron English took care of me. Aaron was VERY helpful, and his patience was beyond great..(he even laughed at my attempt to be funny). I really felt as if I were a special client and he was there to make it the best experience it could be. I got home and found a couple "problems" in getting started... made a call, and once again... patiently, I was talked through what needed to be done. I'm a former educator, many years of judging/predicting character.. and Aaron would come way out on top in my humble opinion. When he talked with me, the eye contact was perfect.. truly giving a "message" that he cared about my concerns, and it was manifest in my easily understanding what was being spoken/shown to me. Please give this young man a big pat on the proverbial back.. he deserves it.

Excellent service. They practiced very precautious measures during the COVID-19 pandemic which I found very professional. On top of this, they were able to fix my MacBook Pro within a couple of days and provided much more service than expected. If you need any computer issues solved, look no further!

I had a great experience at Charlotte city computers when my MacBook kicked the bucket (not great). Charles helped me find out what was wrong with my computer then helped me transfer all my data to a new one. They really helped me through this stressful experience and made finding a new computer pleasant.

I had some issues with service around transferring my files from my ASUS laptop, which had crashed, to a new Lenovo, which I bought from them. There were issues with certain folders, music, videos, and pictures, not opening for the appropriate content. They also didn't upload my software. However, to balance that, they did give me a free session with a tech today to try to solve some of these issues, and they also recycled my ASUS and deleted the data for free. Recently, after only seven months after buying the Lenovo from them, I had to take it in, only to discover it was out of warranty already, so I had to foot the bill entirely. One of the problems (Integrative camera function) it still has! I have never had such problems with a computer! They don't seem to know much about non-MAC computers. Beware! I am taking my business elsewhere. This is too much! On the whole, I have had a really good experience with them. Otherwise, I would give a lower rating.

I dropped off my Mac Book Pro on a Wednesday- it was not turning on- was thinking I would be looking at a huge bill or worse, a new computer- and the fine staff at Charlotte Street Computers had my computer up and running within 24 hours! The price was right and the customer service was excellent. I had to bring my little ones with me to pick it up and the staff was friendly and kind to them too- even offering some kids toys to play with while I checked out. Hopefully there are no computer issues in my near future, but if there were there is no question of where I would take it. Its little wonder why Charlotte Street Computers is #1 in WNC! Thank you :)

My daughter broke my computer late on a tuesday night. She shattered the LCD screen (the screen behind the screen for those who do not know). In the middle of a pandemic, when everything was closed, we called Charlotte Street Computers at almost 9:00 at night. To our surprise, someone answered! They were so helpful and set up an immediate repair for 11:00 am the next day. I had my computer back by thursday (less than 48 hours) completely repaired! I cannot say enough about the efficiency, professionalism, and timeliness of this business. So thankful!!

The repair for which I submitted the computer was fine, but the repair person lost some screws and was going to charge around $90 to order a new back to the computer. Did not offer to repair on their own dime. Another staff member said it would be fine to take it home without those screws in it. I need the computer for work, so I just took it because I could not afford further delay. Now the keypad is coming loose, separating from the frame. I really don't have time to take it back. If I eventually have to get it repaired, I will take it elsewhere. Also, felt pressured into a malware cleanup. Spent quite a bit & am dissatisfied.

I thought my laptop was really sick...probably will need to replace it? Expensive? Nope! The techs at CSC quickly found it was a software problem and worked tirelessly to identify the culprits. They kept me informed along the way. They answered my questions, fixed the problem, installed an upgrade to the OS, tested it out....I couldn't be happier. And the price was definitely right. Next time I want to buy a computer, I'll definitely go there instead of ordering it online. I highly recommend Charlotte Street Computers. Great folks!!

Really great place. Awesome and relaxed customer service. I bought in my 2011 macbook pro which I have had for about 5 years now, and found out the hard drive was failing. They ran a 65$ diagnostic and used the 65$ as a deposit towards getting my hard drive replaced. All in all I spent 250$, which included purchasing of the new solid state drive and the labor cost. I dropped off my laptop and got a call in less than 24 hours telling me my computer is ready to be picked up. Well done. That's professional and timely service

Me: Here's my mac repeatedly crashing, then I couldn't reinstall the os. CityMac: Ok, we reinstalled the OS, here you go. It passed all the hardware tests. Me (a week later): My mac is doing the same thing CM: Ok, we reinstalled the OS, here you go. It passed all the hardware tests. That will be $90. Me: You didn't fix anything. CM: Ok, we'll waive the fee, but next time we'll charge you. I then take it to Charlotte Street Computers Me: Here's my mac repeatedly crashing, then couldn't reinstall the os. CSC: It passed all the hardware tests but we can replicate what you're seeing we'll try replacing the logic board. Me: Great. CSC (a week later): Ok, replaced the logic board fixed most of the issues, we then reinstalled the os and restored your data and that fixed it. Me: Great, thanks! They get it done at CSC. Thanks.

Absolutely love Charlotte Street Computers!!!! The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. They are the only computer store I will use in Asheville ever, because I simply do not trust anyone else. These folks know what they are about! I agreed with the comment "they are patient with beginners". Time and time again they have helped me, in person or over the telephone. My last occasion to call TQ answered the phone, on a Friday afternoon, 30 minutes before closing, stayed on the telephone with me until I got my IMAC backing up data. Can you do better than that? I recommend Charlotte Street Computers to anyone, anytime, for any reason.

Definitely a five star company!!! I needed to purchase an Apple laptop to use overseas and the sales representative, Sean, looked at my desktop iMac to see how much data I was using to make sure he recommended the right laptop for me. No oversell. Within a day my new laptop was uploaded with all data from desktop and backed up. Sean listened to my needs for my overseas travel and realized a couple of accessories that would be beneficial. All my questions were addresses very professionally and I never felt rushed. Great Apple store to get you needs addressed in a friendly pleasant atmosphere. Can't say enough about the tech support or the store! A wonderful experience.

I have trusted Charlotte Street Computers with multiple computers over the years. I believe they are the best! They are expedient, efficient, and their services are reasonably priced. I recently had the pleasure of working with Robert. He took my initial call, when I was experiencing a major Mac crisis. Then, he corresponded with me via email until we formed a final action plan. He was understanding, extremely helpful, and he made sure I didn't feel like a bother to him. To say that Robert "went the extra mile" would be an understatement; I felt that he ran a marathon. He's a great member of the team, and he strikes me as a person who takes pride in both his work and his interactions with customers. I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. Brought in my dying 2014 mac mini with Yosemite OS which could barely run Garageband. They cleaned me up and installed a new hard drive along with a download of Catalina OS and Logic Pro X. Now my 2014 mac mini is running like lightning and Logic Pro X is blowing away Garageband. I'm running with the big dogs now!
