The clerk who helped me was very patient, kind and helpful.

Service was good. We were in and out in 15 minutes.

Customer service here is awful. I've had multiple bad experiences with this company. The call center representatives are rude and clearly don't care to help you. They have tried to overcharge me too many times and some due to their own employee's mistakes. I have stopped using the tolls, even if it tacks on more time to my commute, just to avoid paying them any more money. THEY'RE TERRIBLE!

Accidentally got on the tollway twice once in July 2017 and Oct 2017 got off at the first available exit and and now I have to pay $10.45 plus $35.00 in late charges, they said they sent me letters I've never received anything from them the toll authority now I'm in collection.
Let that be the reason why I will not get a toll tag and I've set my GPS to avoid all toll roads refuse to give them any money.

Horrible. A $7 toll somehow ended up being about 93 $ after late fees. I gladly offered them to pay for the original toll and the 10 $ late fee, but they added another 25 $ and another 50 $. SCAM! No customer service at all. I would avoid driving on tolls at all costs, would rather drive for the extra 5 minutes than deal with this horrible organization.

Wasn't happy when i went in. But i wasn't rude which in turn lead to them not being rude to me. They realized they had the wrong address in the system and waved the late fees. Correct adress is in the system now so this problem shouldn't arise again.

Very quick and friendly. Able to get in and out with no problems.

I am very upset to know I received a 3rd notice when I never received the 1st one or 2nd one! I called them and spoke to a gentleman to make the payment which the bill shows to be $45.82. I explained I never got the 1st notice and obviously wouldnt have waited so long to pay more. The man did not help and stated that the mail was sent. For the love of God! I asked to speak to someone else to reduce this bc this is not my fault! I was told that the manager would say the same thing. I lost it when the man went over the total. It was not was I expected, the total was $80. Apparently, I was "sent" a 4th notice, which I never got. This company is literally a scam!

I am doing everything I can to keep my balance from get outrageous and it keeps happening. I am not happy with this service. I just created the online account today as it says in the letter I received that only says I owe $19.65 and it is the latest notice I have gotten. I get online and see that it is now $91. This is bull. I do not agree with this service and it is overrated. I do not used the tolls that much. I m always working. And when I do it is not that much. That is ridiculous. In a month that balance has show up. Not to mention I am trying to pay the bill for $19.65 and the system will not let me over the phone or in the online account. It is stupid. We should take all of the charge stations down on the road and just handle this with taxes, because I do not have another $300 or what ever to pay to you all and am doing everything not to have this happen to me and you all keep doing this to me. This is unacceptable. I will do all I can to shut this down if this continues. I only use this to service the people and look at how I get treated and served. This is not fair at all. I deserve better. I will get better. I am perfectly fine without the tolls and their overrated roads.

Charged me toll fees for a vehicle I sold moths ago . I called customer service and was told I would have to drive to the Plano office to speak with the manager. I drove to the Plano office and talked to the African female manager who refused to refund the fees even though I had documents proving the car was sold. WHY MAKE ME DRIVE TO THE OFFICE JUST TO BE A !@*&^#%^!?!?!

Wouldn't update my address when advised they were sending to bills to an old address.

Recieved a forwarded letter that they were going to tow my car for unpaid tows.

I called and paid all bills. Found out they billed me for someone else's vehicle. I called and told them. They said they did mess up. Refused to refund!!!

My plate was ###LHT. In the picture was ###LHI.

Yes I talked to a manager still no resolution. I reported to BBB and FDCPA.

Customer service was good initially then the supervisor was the worst... Waste of time and complete BS

Terrible, sabotaged, two old that are on s.s. disability, people that got lost, from out of town. Terrible, terrible, didn't even want to work out a solution with us.

Keep a close watch on your bill. They will try to over charge you. This has happened to me twice within the last few months.

Gave them a card and within 3 days was charged over 100 dollars.

Absolute trash company. They make their money not from the tolls, but from the ridiculous fees that they tack on. Plus, if you call, some agents will work with you if you don't have all the information, while others will say they can't because "policy." Avoid the toll roads, folks, and just go side street.

After being on hold for 30 minutes, I was talking to a lady, and then she hung up on me, now I am back on hold. Seriously they Owe me money for my time. This is complete bs

This has to be one of the worst websites I've ever used. It's almost never working so usually I have to call to make a payment or make a change to my account. The app isn't much better, and I especially dislike that you can't change your payment options with the app itself. It should be a feature especially since you can almost never use the website. Customer service is usually fairly polite and understanding which is why I didn't give it a one star.

It does not seem to respect who is on the road. we pay and tell you that you did not pay with interest

Excellent. Courteous, quick helpful and understanding. Able to waive late fees due to misunderstanding about who was paying tolls - me or my company.

This is not a reflection of people that work at NTTA. I bought a roll tag at the dmv on 67 and I-20. I put it in my wallet after purchase. Wasdriving my company vehicle with wallet on dash. It scan my new toll tag by mistake instead of the one on the windshield. Now I am out 24.00 dollars. And I was point blank told it doesn't matter which one got scanned as long as it got paid. Even though the vehicle I was driving has it's own toll tag. Even though its registered to my company. Not me

Very good customer service but busy and you will lose time a lot if you walk in

these people are ridiculous. I have had a tolltag for 10+ years and got a new car, and totaled $23 up on the paper plates which I thought would get discounted down to the tolltag rate, but no. They said because I didn't register the paper plates, I didn't get the discounted rate, even though I have had a tolltag since I could drive!!!! This is ridiculous, who registers a paper plate. As soon, as I got my plates, I called and registered my new car. SO STUPID. This place is a rip off. I pay all my bills on time to this place and they still rip me off!

Absolutely sleazy. We had an unpaid balance of 87 cents getting sent to the wrong address. They didn't apply payments to our current autopay account even though the car in question had a valid Tolltag because "their system isn't set up that way." Because we didn't get the notices, we didn't realize they weren't applying the bill to the car.

They've given Texas government enough "favors" that the law is completely on their side and they have no incentive to fix their dysfunctional billing system. What a happy arrangement for them - they get to bill their customers for their shoddy system, and make a hefty profit on it!

That 87 cents? It ended up costing us $35 in fees. Pretty much the definition of usury. Drain this damn swamp already and get us some competition! NTTA needs to go bankrupt yesterday.

Con artists, all of them. That's how they are trained. They want all of your money. They will suck the life right out of you. 2,000 bucks down. Started anti depression meds because of this place. The tag does not help, it's all lies. Karma will get all the employees who have lied to all of these honest people.

Why does it take over a month to receive a toll tag in the mail? I literally want to give you money and I can't.

If i could give negative stars i would. I called in to take a rental off of my account and the guy was super rude and you could hear ladies in the background really loud and laughing and the guy wasn't even listening to me. Money was taken out of my account today and i was really confused as to why....the man never took the rental off and the person who has the rental drove on the toll....GUESS WHO HAS TO PAY? me...I called NTTA today to let them know and she said they can't help me and they can't give me a refund, but she's sorry. I even said i would call Nissan for them to let NTTA know that it wasn't me or anyone i know...The lady i was on the phone with just kept telling me that they can't give me a refund. I spend a lot of money on the tolls...and this is how they treat their customers....It's pathetic.

Giving one star is an over exaggeration! I had $11 on my account and they changed my address because of a change of address card I made with the post office. I used one of their roads and was charged $2.23.
Because of their system, changing my address, they could not take this out of the $11 nor could I get the bill until after a collection agency got it so even though I have a $11 credit the $2.23 toll cost me $41.66.
This is just crazy and a real rip off. Sure glad I don't live near their toll system. At least TXTag in Austin can correct mistakes within their system. Sorry excuse for a company!

A foreign owned mafia-like entity backed by the state with absolutely terrible customer service. Although prompted during calls that they will be recorded, there was no history of my inquiries for over 2 year when I have called them multiple times throughout that timeframe. Each time during my calls, I was told that my account was in good standing. Now I have a $10 zipcash bill that has turned into $150. They are incompetent, apathetic or rude, and thieves. Although they make way over a billion dollars in revenue each year, their system is completely useless, if not, designed to bleed Texans into corpses.

Ugh. I just felt I just had to take it up the ass. I drove through Texas a year ago, and they sent an invoice to an address I don't live. Apparently, my simple toll went up 780% in fees. It was sent to a collection agency and they wouldn't reduce the fee at all even though they were at fault. So sleazy...

back in late August/ early September my family evacuated from Corpus Christi during Hurricane Harvey. We traveled to the Dallas/ Plano area. on our trip our navigation took us on some tolls roads. While the other company we received a bill from was happy to inform us of how to have our account cleared (per the statement from Gov. Abbott's office) NTTA refused to waive the fees, stating that they only had to do this for Harris County, which as confirmed with a call to the Governor's office was to be for the entire state as it is based on where you live not where you traveled.
Terrible customer service and failure to comply with State mandated orders makes them a company I hope I never have to deal with again.

Driving the Dallas Tollway today (November 8, 2014) I was caught in bumper to bumper traffic for miles as construction closed 2 of the 3 lanes in both directions. I wasn't the only one as the southbound lanes were also chocked full of cars. My question to the NTTA is........if you know this construction will close down the lanes and cause much frustration and anger on the part of your customers, why don't you waive the toll charges for that day? Instead, we get caught in miles of 2-5 mph traffic congestion and you still make money even though you caused the problem. Nice!

The black women here are angry black women who don't know there job. They clamed that i gave them the wrong address and i have proof from the dmv. What a group of angry black women and they kiss every white man ass upon entering

Drove through tollway entrance completely on accident because of highly confusing toll signs you can t believe they get away with: There are toll road signs on the roads that GO NEAR toll roads and the EXACT SAME type of signs for ACTUAL toll roads. I got off immediately and called NTTA asking for them to cancel the accidental charge in these clearly extenuating circumstances. They completely declined to waive the charge caused by their very confusing signs.

In addition to the above, you won't believe this: NTTA phone service admitted to me that 1. Cars that are being towed by tow trucks on toll roads and 2. Cars that are officially directed onto toll roads by police when roads are closed STILL have to pay tolls. This is totally wrong, and needs to change right now.

NTTA takes advantage of innocent drivers and Texans need to band together to make sure they are held accountable!

Picked up another toll tag for my daughter's car and cancelled a tag on another car. It was taking too long to receive by mail so I decided drive to pick it up., and the one originally toll tag I order on there website finally came in the mail 4 days later. I cut it up.

This should be illegal. Your telling me i just paid you $90 for using the tollroad for less than a month?!

The convenience of not being stuck in traffic is why I chose the tollway, at times...everything was going great until I got a Tolltag account. I setup a regular online bill pay of $20(instead of giving my debit card info.) because it's not often I have to chose the express route... Long-short, my account was short 0.26 of a $4.36 charge and 0.71 short one other time...both which was paid more times over with phone payments and the $20 online bill pays....But, for some reason the monthly $20 payments were being consistently consumed by that same $4.36 charge. And, no one can explain why my balance is not accurate. They consistently talk about a supposed $4.36 bounced check....which my credit union refunded their $30 fees to me...because my funds were there....The lady I spoke to couldn't distinguish toll debits from account balance...even though they're separated by columns. Trying to get her to understand the majority of the $4.36 was paid minus the $0.26...which was then paid by the $20 online bill pay...therefore, leaving a positive balance. Anyhow, mute point for her. The straw that broke the camel's back....was being charged for a trip on the Oklahoma Turnpike...for something I physically paid at the terminal to the lady at the time of travel.

Not every helpful. Your better off getting a TX tag then NTTA tag

Fast service and very friendly, they had my issue resolved in less than 2 minutes. I would definitely return with no hesitation if I have any future issues due to this experience.

There should be a reduced toll amount during the construction process. I'm wasting additional time and money on detours.

Keep getting bills from this place. First off I live in Kansas haven't left the state in 2 years. And have never been to texas. And it is on a car that was crushed 3 years ago. The license plate picture is not of the plate I had. 2nd time I've been mailed this. 2nd time I've contacted them and have been told the account is take. Care of. And the 2nd time they have refused to tell me how they have gotten this information.

This company will NOT work with you in making payment arrangements. I simply called to set up payment, paying in full, using 2 credit cards and they refuse my payment. I thought refusing payment w illegal! What is rhia world coming to. No common decency from this company. Simply don't drive on their road, that your taxes paid to build, if you aren't rich enough to do as they say. Cause they feed your kids and pay your bills, not you.

Received a bill with a license tag picture that clearly shows the number that is not on my vehicle. This has happened 4 different times. That vehicle has not been registered for 3 years. What a bunch of fools. Affirmative action at its finest.

If you call the 1800 number you will most likely get incorrect information.

The representatives at the specific location were helpful within the constraints that are given to them.

If you have the option of avoiding any interaction with the role road authority by closely monitoring your account I would suggest that rather than letting them nickel and dime you later. They have very unfair stipulations.

They couldnt help me in here, they gave me a number to call. Like really? What's the point of a customer srt service office if you aren't authorize to do anything.

Had bills due and I paid $100 towards them. Money was taken from my account but somehow never put to my bills because I again received another past due from them with the same amount still billed AND another late charge. Tried calling immediately after I received the letter and couldn't get a hold of anyone to resolve the problem and the problem still remains unresolved. Tried paying bills tonight and of course the site to pay is down.

I don't care for the tricky business practices of NTTA. Feels like sabotage, but I had a pleasant service experience with Chardonnay in the Plano office today. She was professional, courteous and efficient.

The biggest scam on the road. Avoid the toll roads at any and all cost. Scam scam scam. If I could give it negative stars I would. Scam. That is all.

If I could give zero stars I would. I honestly believe they have a policy in place that they "Pretend" to send out an initial invoice, then a 1st letter and then when they start actually charging late fees they send the 3rd notice that has the huge late fee. I pay my bills, I have excellent credit. WHYwouldn't I pay a little bitty $4.25 toll fee. I think it's a racket and this is how they pay for their roads. The girl on the phone tells me, "Yea, alot of people say they don't get their initial invoice and first and second notices, they just throw them away. I said maybe they really don't get them, like me."

Quick, competent and painless. I wish I d known it was there before today. It s the best way to help the state take money from you.

Place is a joke and will extort you for everything they can! I am about sick of these government agencies stealing everyone's money! We pay for these roads with our taxes and now our government wants to contract the highways out to this disgusting company! No thank you, I will avoid all toll roads..

NTTA is a criminal organization. I used my toll tag in a rental car for several months. When I returned the rental car I removed my toll tag, but continued to get billed for other people running the toll in the rental car. I tried calling their customer service line a dozen times but it's ALWAYS BUSY. So I e-mailed them and asked for a refund for the fraudulent charges, but they replied saying they couldn't issue refunds by e-mail and I would have to go to a NTTA local branch. So I spent my gas and time to go by a local branch only to have an employee with a bad attitude refuse to refund the fraudulent charges. I hope they all rot in hell.

Tell me why is it that I call to pay off my balance and the employees cant find it (yes with a S because I spoke with multiple). Now months later I get a letter saying I will get towed if I'm on the toll road for the same fees and no one will help me lift the tow threat. Due to incompetent staff I now have a car marked for tow. ALL NTTA FAULT for not training staff right and even "escalation desk" the lady sounded uneducated and numb to the fact her staff is incompetent

Customer service was well-spoken. All situations and scenarios were explained clearly. I have had nothing but good experiences when having to visit this office.

Way over priced. Why are non American companies allowed to come in and build tolls that never end. This isnt right.

Money hungry, pretty sure it s morally unethical to have a private business hold someone from getting their car registration done.

That s equivalent to not being able to get your license renewed because you owe money to an credit card of some sort.

These people are really peices of trash. My water pump went out this morning so I pulled over to cool down. The roadside assistance a-holes pulled behind me and offered me some water to put in my coolant system. They went back to the truck and sat in it and I waited, wondering what the hell they were doing. All the sudden a cop pulls up. Apparently the roadside assistance jerks called the cops to tell them I didn't have a trailer tag. So the cops wrote me a ticket for about an hour and the roadside assistance peices of trash took off. Never got help from them. Unless you desperately need their help I would recommend telling them to f off as soon as they get there. They are apparently ordered to look for anything that is ticketable and report it to the cops. Trashy people. I would give them 0 stars if I could!

I absolutely loathe this company. The fines are egregious and the customer service is terrible. Texas hates you NTTA!
