Ok after reading all the horrible reviews I was expecting the worste....I was standing in line and I was personally greeted and asked if she could help me, she realized I was very unhappy since the website was unable to help me I had to come down in person to straighten out why my three vehicle accounts had disappeared. She then escorted me to the " boss" Renea"* sp. He handled everything and within ten minutes I was shaking his hand and leaving satisfied with a very pleasant visit...do not lrt some bad apples ruin it for you..on a side note fix the website to be more user friendly for computer novices please..regards J.W.P.

I have never writen a review and I do not like to judge people, but I had called in to make a payment for my mother and the lady who I spoke to was VERY rude and IMPATIENT! She would raise her voice at my mother when she would say something incorrect. Her name was Silvia and she is bilingual but very rude.

This place is nothing but a scam! Do NOT use the toll roads! They will claim to have sent you a 1st 2nd and 3rd notice but you will not receive them till years later with a single toll! Resulting in a balance over $400 and a F-ing warrant for my arrest! They refuse to reduce any type of price and I am now forced to pay in full! Along with the fine I wasn t even aware of!

I'm not from the area, but when I travel on a toll road to visit someone the only communication they ever send me is "you have a bill that is past due" and tack on a late fee to double the amount I have to pay these crooks. You obviously have my address, so SEND ME A BILL SO THAT I CAN PAY IT INSTEAD OF BENDING ME OVER A CHAIR EVERY TIME I COME THROUGH.

I don't have time to write the 500 page novel of everything they do wrong and how they as a company, along with their customer service. Just know they will find every loophole possible to take your money and NEVER legally provide you with accurate information. If I had the option to give them less than 1 star, I would.

It's hard to believe that the state of Texas would allow this kind of behavior from an organization as big as ntta. Anyway due to ntta deleting their phone calls I am now responsible to pay for thir mistakes. I hope y'all like to count pennies, cause that's all y'all are going to get.

This is insane!! They charged me $10 late payment fee in THE FIRST mail I received. How I m going to pay for something that I don t have? Basically they re saying you didn t pay the bill and it s our fault, because we didn t sent the mail, but you will be charged for late payment anyway that s unbelievable...

I would give a negative star if I could. These people are crooks! Do not give them access to your bank account. The customer service lady did not explain that when you add a 4th vehicle to your account they will double the amount to $80. It cost me $45 to drive from Hwy 75 to 20. This is a complete rip off. So they took $80 plus $45 and never even mentioned that this was the case.

Worst Company ever! Tolls have been increasing just about every 6 months to a year (Increasing again in July)... I have paid well over $1000 in just less than 1 year total. Can you imagine all this money times thousands of others who pay this on an average a year!! Ridiculous!!!!. Where do I sign for a petition to shut them down. They really dont care about helping you at all!!

Your invoice looks like junk mail. I almost trashed. Return addressee is customer service center? And the only official wording "tollway authority" is written in like a size 7 font. ZIPCASH sounds like a check cashing store. Stop trying to put lipstick on a pig. Make the letter from Texas Tollway and make it look more offical and less Zippy (nice try at making a Cool name, but your not supposed to be cool. Its a tollbooth!) And I can't even pay with CASH!??!

For anyone using the tex. express, you may want to take extra care regarding the bill as it turns out when you use the new 635 or 35 express lanes it can take 7 to 10 days for the charges to finally update and if it just so happens that somehow you end up in a negative balance then that automatically turns into zipcash which they don't bother to tell you anything about so you going to make a payment against your Toll Tag account thinking that everything is now on the up-and-up and that you're doing good whenever know you have this hidden bill that you don't even know about because they don't bother to mail it to you during through snail mail and they don't send it to you via email it's not until I called in and had other questions that they're all like oh by the way do you know that you only owe us $174 are you kidding me right now I will never drive on a toll road again ever I have been on the phone with them again and again and again I have asked to speak with supervisors and managers I have been promised to give me a call back so we can go over the account and discuss it and all I'm getting is the run around and being treated like I'm stupid or something whenever I've even called in and ask them how come on my account it says that there's invoice is attached to the account but when I try to open them up there's nothing there and I was actually told that there was a glitch in the system not real happy at the moment as you can see

They've gone from amazing to atrocious. Their customer "service" has gone downhill and it gets worse every single time I talk to them, which fortunately is not that often. I don't know whether they has a change in leadership or a change in corporate culture, but they act like they could care less. I guess when you have a monopoly, you don't have to care.

over the past couple of years i have been billed for other people's toll bills. never been received multiple bills until it has hit 2nd notice of non payment or further. i have been billed $70 on a $14 bill. other times i have been billed for over $700. and they always tell you the same thing, we cannot lower or change your bill, but if you get a toll tag it will lower your bill. if you dont pay then its a class c misdemeanor. which is extortion. they bill whatever they want and you have to pay it. the tolls are supposed to be removed when the highway is payed for.

Screw the NTTA. The U.S. doesn't even own any of them anymore and they charge us outrageous toll amounts. This week alone I've been charged 4x by the NTTA and go through 2 tolls A DAY. Worst company ever. Built them to help handle traffic, now we get charged to sit in traffic. B.S.!!!!!!!!!!!

The end TTA is truly what's wrong with this world. They are the bloodsucking scum of the earth. A private company shouldn't be in charge of our roads nor should they be money hungry. Day and night the tollway is a standstill you pay to park. I wish the founders, executives and supporters nothing but the illest of Will!!

This organization ripped me off! There's no way to pay your bill online without the 'account ID' they mail you which you will never receive before late day. Why must I need the redundant 'account id' if my plate number can identify me? I kept asked them to let me login in and pay online they said there's no invoice. Two month later, and suddenly you got a mail with an invoice with 35$ late fee... how ridiculous!

I have never had such a bad experience with a business. For a week I have called the NTTA number and it has been constantly busy. One time a recording answered to say they were busy and then hung up. I also emailed the NTTA my questions a week ago, and again, no response. How is it that this agency can operate this way? I am going to have to drive to the Plano location just to try to get an answer. Not acceptable.

I had a very pleasant experience here, even though I was paying a bill. I came during lunch hours and was impressed to see that they had an employee dedicated to checking in each new customer who entered, and adding them to an online system that displayed your name and wait time on a TV in the waiting area. I waited 6 minutes before my name was called. I was helped by a wonderful associate, Dmitri (I hope I m spelling that right). She was polite, punctual and went out of her way to give me written instructions about how to download the toll tag app, and a print-out of the chart with all the north Texas tolls listed, with highlights of the tolls on my commute. If you are polite and wait your turn, I don t see why you would have any problems here. Thank you Dmitri!

They scam people and always have there hand out. Had a toll account for 20+ yrs and they can t seem to keep my one vehicle with there till tag straight so they blow up the bill with bs administration fees and had the nerve to tell me I need to keep up with my bills better. I am sick of tolls and scammers!

Easy in and out even right at 5:15 when I expected it would get crazy! Super nice and helpful employees - did everything they could to make sure we were set up for success with our account. If you gotta pay tolls, at least the physical customer service reps are nice!

So far, not so good. Warning: please know that they will start billing you as soon as you set up your online account and prior to installing your TollTag sticker. I switched to TollTag from TxTag because TxTag has some of the worst customer service in history (not to mention the fact that they double billed me for some tolls and even billed me 4x for a toll this morning). I signed up for my TollTag last Thursday and figured my service would begin when I received and installed my TollTag sticker. I kept my TxTag account in the meantime so that I didn't have to pay the full toll cost and mailing fee. Well, this weekend I noticed that TollTag started billing me as soon as I set up my account with them (no sticker installed yet). They started charging me based on my license plate number. So that means that I had the privilege of paying both TollTag and TxTag for the same charges. Called TollTag today to appeal to them to refund me the charges, since I was not aware they would be billing me prior to the sticker being applied, and they said they would not refund me any money despite the fact that they could see I was being charged by both agencies. My customer service agent was very nice but she said she appealed to two managers and both rejected my claim. A terrible way to start a relationship. I am hopeful that their service is not as bad as TxTags (not actually sure it could be worse), but at this point, I am beginning to worry whether or not that is the case. Fingers crossed it gets better.

Too bad they don't have a "negative" star rating. Seriously. The state allows this organization, which is nothing more than a revenue generation mechanism and everyone with a nickels worth of sense knows it, way too much power, and also gives no oversight to their heinous practices. Full disclosure: I have a TollTag account, I didn't want one, but I finally had to succumb to Satan. This post does not involve my toll tag. March 3 2018: I sell a truck to someone else. I had purchased a new vehicle the previous day. March 17 2018: I go to TXDMV and let them know I no longer own nor possess this truck. April 3 2018: someone incurs 4 tolls on the DNT. I subsequently get the bill. I contacted them via phone, explained that I no longer owned the vehicle and that I had notified the state of the sale. The rep on the other end was unsympathetic and obvious working from a script. So I faxed them a copy of the bill, along with the confirmation email from TXDMV that I had notified them of the sale. I was told that this wasn't acceptable, and that I needed to provide a "title history". Problem is, it cost more to get a title history than the damn toll bill. So I ended up admitting defeat and paying it. One of these days, someone is gonna sue NTTA into Oblivion. When they do, I'm throwing a block party and you're all invited. They're nothing more than a legalized shakedown. Toll roads are a reality in Texas. I get it. But to stiff good folks out of money they're not obligated to pay is basically a mob tactic.

This is a tax without representation. First they increase your property tax to build the road then use your tax dollars to hire a private corporation to actually build the road and maintain the road for 30 years or more all the while allowing this private company to increase the toll yearly to use the road.
