My Experience w/ Alex Shmidt at Mercedes of Bellevue was exceptional. Mercedes of Bellevue is an Auto Nation dealer and gave me a great deal on a used vehicle. I required financing to make the timing of the funds for the vehicle work and the dealer was quick and painless with getting this set up. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and not eager to push sales, while the facilities were comfortable and really clean. If you're looking for a new or used vehicle, I would highly recommend contacting Alex Shmidt at Mercedes of Bellevue!

Great Car Buying Experience!! In fact, I drove all the way from Spokane to Bellevue to purchase the car there rather than at the local Mercedes-Benz in my area. My Salesman Andrew, the Sales Manager Tae and the Finance gal Tuti (sp?) were all extremely professional, fun, easy going, accommodating and definitely went above and beyond. Unfortunately, my experiences with Mercedes-Benz of Spokane have been the polar opposite and they should consider some training by the Bellevue folks who can show them how it's supposed to be done.

First of all - MB Bellevue has a fabulous service department. Friendly, easy to talk to and accommodating. The facility is fabulous and the free coffee and donuts are a great treat. Chris the Service Writer was great...

So what's the issue?? A 40,000 mile check up for $1,200 is absurd (particularly when the car has 26,000 miles). Oil needs to be changed, yes but $450 for a fuel injection cleaning? $175 to protect the fuel system against the corrosive effect of ethanol? And the worst, $200 for a internal engine cleaning? I fell off the turnip truck, but not last night!

Everyone needs to make a buck...but this borders on outright fraud. We ended up paying $700 for an oil and brake fluid change (the later completely unnecessary, again IMHO). The rest of the charges were for 'inspections' ("Well sir we've confirmed that all 4 wheels still turn and the transmission is still there...")

I try not be a know -it-all, because I truly don't know these cars very well, but the automotive basics remain the same and if the Service Writer can't really tell me why a process is necessary, why would they do it? It does explain the lavish facilities...service departments must be huge cash cows when most of you clientele doesn't know the difference between an oil filter and toilet bowl.

Terrible service department. We stopped in to get advise and look into a potentially dangerous problem in the car. After keeping the car overnight (driving it), completely denied the problem. They went to the extent, of saying that I should come over next time and they could correct my driving - It is an automatic for Gods sake. I eventually went to Mercedes of Lynwood. Who on the other hand, kept on diving in and found the problem. The problem was big enough to make driving the car on the road unsafe. I would recommend please avoid Mercedes of Bellevue at all costs.

The quoted ridiculously high price and when I countered with realistic prices, they laughed at me and walked away. Worst customer experience. I will write to Mercedes USA to complain about this. You d want to avoid their salesman Tae. He is arrogant and doesn t care about his customers. Better off going to other dealerships in the area.

This review is for the service/repair department of MB of Bellevue. Overall very unprofessional and disappointing.
I brought my car in for a repair since the check engine light was on. After $1000 and 2 weeks, Mercedes of Bellevue told me they do not know what was wrong with my car and need another $1000 to find the cause. I have received multiple updates from them saying my car will be looked at the next day. When I did no receive the promised update, I texted them to ask and the texts are often time being ignored for 1-2 days. Overall, the diagnosis + repair took more than 2 months. It is a truly disappointing experience from a Mercedes dealer.

My service advisor, Mark, was great! However, when I first arrived I had to wait nearly 10 minutes for someone to help my service get set up. This is the first time I have arrived and wasn't helped immediately. When I came back to pick up my car, they couldn't find it. The guy who was trying to find it had no urgency. Finally they got Mark involved and he found it. But why did this happen?
I love my car, the service technicians do a good job, but since the new ownership the customer service is not what it used to be.

I had a terrible experience at german car specialist. They had my car for two weeks to change a tail light, my windshield wiper motor, and my drivers side window wouldn't roll down all the way. They said I needed a new batterie so I put one in two days later the batterie was dead, and a check engine light came on. They said they checked the electrical wiring in my car, but my batterie wont hold a charge. I checked the alternator witch was working fine but there is still an electrical problem somewhere in my car. I suggest finding a new repair shop instead of german car specialist, I know I'll never take my car back there.

I took my CLA250 for servicing . I had called a couple of weeks before to schedule an appointment. I drop my car off and come back to work . I get a call from the servicing department saying that my car cannot be serviced because there is an outage of CLA/C class oil (Oil Change).I had talked to at least 4 of your representatives in the process.
- scheduling my appointment, gettting the confirmation call and 2 while checking my car in and none of them had the knowledge that my class vehicles were not being serviced.

I am getting constant emails for review on my service and experience which did not happen and i have not received a single email on the status of the outage.

This is not the kind of experience you hope to get from Mercedes. Very dissapointed.

When moving to a new area, establishing relation of confidence and trust for MB service can take time and be daunting for newcomer. Eric Gordon, the Service Director addressed servicing concerns with a detailed post review. His attention and follow up create that confidence and trust. I was contemplating getting an SL550 and looked online at the Bellevue inventory. Less than 10 minutes after inquiring about a specific car, I received a call from Christopher Wright. Christopher was very professional, gave me information and encouraged me to come in and take a look at this beautiful SL they had in the showroom. The car was exactly what I was looking for and during the entire process, Christopher stayed focused and professional, making the buying experience as painless as possible. No customer obsession, lack of coordination. Appointments don't mean anything. Didn't even bother returning my car clean after holding it for 5 days for an alignment job and 3 door handle light bulb as well as wiper blade replacement. Must say though they gave me a self service car wash coupon, thank you, Mercedes Bellevue!

Update: i had sensed a non sincerity in the dealers response I confirmed it by calling them and not being able to talk to the gm and moreover not receiving a call back for about a week now. Thank you MB bellevue for wasting your customers time instead of making the service process seamless for them.

Update 2: Decided to give another chance MB Bellevue to get it right this time with my Service A appointment. From beginning to end, I was more than satisfied with the experience and efficiency after being able pick up my car on the same day of the drop-off. Chris Santiago, specifically, was instrumental on this appointment. So many thanks for him. I'm updating my rating from 1 to 4.

I recently bought my first car from a dealership (2009 Subaru Legacy) from here. I have heard awful stories about car shopping at dealerships, but this experience was a good one. The sales person who was helping me, Ashley, was absolutely wonderful. She was super helpful, knowledgeable, patient and even fun. Also, she wasn't pushy which is something I can't stand in sales people. The dealership and Ashley treated me very well, the paperwork was quick and painless, and the price was fairly negotiated. I am very pleased with my experience. Even though I didn't buy a Mercedes, the dealership still treated me like royalty. I will be recommending them to friends and be returning there in the future.

I was after a 2017 Mercedes and initially talked with Mercedes/Bellevue, but they let me walk out. I then went to the internet to other Mercedes dealers in the area (as well as Bellevue) and defined what I was looking for after researching the various 2017 models. I had just about made up my mind to deal with another dealership when I got an e-mail from Bernard Sintim at the Bellevue dealership. I thought it cannot hurt to discuss with him what exactly I was looking for and he quickly, very quickly delivered pricing, leasing and financing on the model I was looking for in his dealership - and every aspect hit exactly where I needed to be. There was no BS, off subject e-mails or trying to get me in to 'do the deal' whatsoever. He delivered, and instead of doing business somewhere else, I went in to finalize the deal. And he closed it - simple as that. Very happy with his professionalism, knowledge of the model and how he handled himself. Couldn't be happier. And I never drove the model prior to committing or even sat in it. I know Mercedes and their reputation is beyond reproach. This was the second car we had got from Mercedes Bellevue and one of the major reasons we , meaning my wife and I, committed to Mercedes as the auto we wanted for our next purchase. I would recommend Bernard and Bellevue Mercedes to anyone who is seriously looking for a high quality auto of the first degree.

I purchased one of their trade-ins, 2013 Honda Civic. The car was in impeccable condition, and they gave me a list of minor repairs as well as the inspection results. Ashley and Sebastian my sales reps were very friendly and treated me with respect. They delivered every promise they made and they were clear when they weren't sure they might be able to. The latter part was more important to me, I understand that some things are not under their control, but they were always upfront and honest. Everything was so easy, even Jason, the finance manager was great to work with. Jason worked with my pre-approval from another bank, explained everything clearly, and the whole paperwork process was efficient. I would highly recommend this dealer, and would come back again if I'm looking for a vehicle. I've been to a lot of different car dealerships, and dare I say, this is the best dealer in the area in customer service and provide the best buying experience.

My service experience was subpar this time. I came to order a replacement key and was told to go through the service garage. A service representative Michael was assigned to me. He had squeezed me in between his appointments. He had some subtle Bose headphones playing some music while taking my order. After spelling out my name for him he was able to pull up the account for the vehicle but some how placed my key order on the account of another patron. I only caught this after reviewing my receipt. Ok, honest mistake and I trusted that he will fix this. They told me it will take 3 to 5 days for the order. On business day 5, I left a message for Michael but I get no reply. On business day 7 I emailed Michael and get no reply. Day 8, I called Parts and they said they have the key. I would rate the service low for Mercedes standard due to lack of responsiveness.

From setting up the appointment to giving me a good deal, he did his best and was very customer focused. Service has definitely gone done since Auto Nation has taken over. Customer service for the service dept. I had called and reached a woman working on 7/3/20 around 2:20pm in the service dept. she was extremely bland and rude. It seemed that she didn t even want to answer the call or wanted to be there or help anybody that was calling for that fact. She went on with an attitude and made me feel like I wasn t wanted to even come in and had a monotone attitude.

Mercedes-Benz of Seattle is definitely a better ambience and has better workers that value you as a customer there. They answer the calls with pride and I can feel the smile on their faces.

Made an appointment to address an "Auxiliary Battery Malfunction" message. I arrived at the allotted time and was quickly met with a service adviser who took care of getting my vehicle to an available technician. He led me to a waiting area that was well stocked with complimentary beverages and snacks. He also advised me of an additional area located upstairs which was quieter, and was more appropriate for working on a laptop. I did use the quieter area and found it to be quite nice and quiet, allowing me to work on several business documents while connected to their complimentary wi-fi. I was told by the service advisor that my vehicle would be ready in about an hour and a half, but, to my surprise and delight, he arrived in about 45 minutes to tell me that the work was completed, problem resolved, and it was covered under warranty; no charge. Needless to say, I was delighted. I can confirm that the issue has been fully resolved. I found the experience to be very positive and would not hesitate to bring my car back for service to MB of Bellevue.

Went to here for my repairs and oil change and I felt people are courteous and I have received prompt responses. Didn't feel that the prices are not overly charged. If I have to point out just one thing that annoyed me was the returning call when the job is done. But overall, I like the online appointment system, answered phone calls, clean and not overselling service department.

Not happy with the services done by this shop. Once they fix a problem and I take car back, other problem showing up thereafter. Every repair costs me over one thousand dollars and even thousands dollars. It happened not once, not twice and this is the third time. Every time I sent my car there and after repairing, they told me that your car was OK. After driving the car back, next couple days, new problem jumping up, I bring the car back to the shop, their computer system found new problem, I have no choice to leave the car there for repair. I don't trust their services at all. They don't fix the problem, they create problem to get your car back to the shop. I don't recommend the shop in Bellevue.

I just purchased my third Mercedes from this dealership. It was a great buying experience, just like my first two purchases. Despite going recently from a "small" family owned business to the giant AutoNation firm, nothing has changed over the years. The professionalism by all involved was outstanding. Our salesperson, Scott Glasser was a joy to deal with. Scott was extremely attentive to our needs and served us well. Negotiations on the price were tough but very fair. I would definitely go back to Scott for my next MB. Another great plus for this dealership is the service department. Our trusted advisor over the years, Josh McDowell is one of the best service advisors I have ever dealt with in my 50 years of car maintenance experience. I highly recommend MB of Bellevue.

By far the most painless service appointment ever! Marc Larson met me as I drove in. I found him to be friendly and most professional. When I asked what this service entailed he went into what they were going to do in detail. I had brought a book and told Marc where I could be found. He gave me a specific (and accurate) time when I could expect to receive my car. I read several chapters and watched a carrier truck being unloaded and then Marc was there to tell me my car was ready. It was sparkling clean and ready for me to drive. There is no doubt where I shall have my future work done. Thanks, Marc for an excellent experience.

One of the best experiences I've had purchasing a car, the customer service here is Luxury at its finest. If you need exceptional care and a very detailed and specific request i.e (Surprise a loved one or significant other) Make sure you see Jack Park. He put the deal together without hick-ups with my lady, the two of them got a tear out of me they for sure surpised me. For a second I thought I was on Pranke'd!

I love the car I got here, but the experience is a bit bitter as it recently turned out.
When purchasing the car, the sales person assured me that the car has brand new tires, and I didn't check. A year later (10k miles), tires are completely worn off.
Apparently, the tires haven't been changed since the car was manufactured (I bought it CPO).
And, like nothing happened, during one year maintenance, they wanted to replace them for 2 thousand dollars, twice the normal price.

It would've been okay for me to buy the car with almost worn off tires, but at least they should've told me. It's quite dangerous at least.

These sales guys are liars. Just keep in mind.

Lorenzo is patient, honest and was not pushy or rude in anyway. On several occasions he took the time to clearly and honestly answer any questions or concerns I had without any extra pressure. This is my 3rd Mercedes and my 6th luxury vehicle purchase. By far MB of Bellevue surpassed my every expectation!! They have mastered the art of providing an exceptional car buying experience! MB of Bellevue has little respect for their customers. They have wasted so much of my time.

I have a broken driver side mirror. Went in to get it appraised, order the parts, and schedule an appointment. Parts came about a week later and after bringing the car in they tell me that they missed one of the parts.

I schedule another appointment and ask for a courtesy vehicle. They said they didn't have any and would have to push the appointment out if I needed a courtesy vehicle. I accepted an earlier date with no vehicle because I wanted to get the car fixed. I call ahead of coming in on the day of the appointment and they tell me the appointment is confirmed. When I get there, they tell me I'm scheduled for the following week. I realized that they moved my appointment without telling me and just updated the calendar invite. They also tell me "sorry, but we gitnoverbooked". Now, I have a date further out than the date they offered initially with the courtesy vehicle, except that I don't have one.

I try calling back and they leave me on hold for several minutes then hang up on me without even picking up.

Very unprofessional and disappointing. Not sure why I'm keeping the car if this is the service I'm going to get.

I went in for a 80,000 mile service check. Last year when I came in for the 70,000 mile service, I paid a lot of money for all the maintenance. My service advisor who had helped me at the time had told me that when I come in next year, that it would be much more minor, and would only be about $400. When I made my reservation for this year, the lady on the phone told me that the maintenance would be a little over $400 as well. But I ended up paying almost $900. I didn t ask in detail about it because I know that these are estimates and everyone will say something different, but to be blindsided by a two fold increase in charge than two people had told me to expect was not
pleasant for me as a customer.

I found our representative to be highly unresponsive. I called 3 times to get an update on my car without a call back. Once I did get a call, I was told that he didn't phone because there wasn't anything to tell me. I would have appreciated a phone call back to at least tell me there was nothing to report - especially after they had my car for over 4 hours. In addition, I told them that my car had the warning that the coolant was low. When I got the car back, it had not been filled. Lacking in details and customer service.

I moved here from Florida and had a brand new GLA 250. I bought it here for service and to also have the wheels and tires refinished. I made an appointment and dropped my car off the day before. I was told it would take up to three days for my vehicle so I arranged to go out of town. I even communicated that I would not be available for three days. They didn t have my car for a full day and the service rep called me 8 times to pick up my vehicle. Left rude voicemails as if I was ignoring him. So I finally make it back to pick up my vehicle, after returning several phone calls. I ask for my vehicle. I go to the front desk and they say your rep with be right with you. This random man walks up to me, doesn t introduce himself then gets mad when I don t follow him. He literally turns around and says, ya comin? I immediately asked his name and if he was the rep. He didn t shake my hand. He didn t ask me to sit. He didn t go over the specs of my car. Hands me my keys and says someone will bring the car around. Didn t walk me out. Didn t take me to the car. Didn t apologize for all the calls. THEN MY CAR COMES. Normally, you get a free wash with every service. My car was caked in clumps of mud! I have white leather!!! Mud all over the door way. Mud all over the floor mat. There was mud and dirt all in my car. Not plastic floor mats to protect the car. I was so appalled I just left. Later that day I called the rep and of course he wasn t available. I left a voicemail this time and asked him why he was so rude, so condescending and then treated me vehicle like it has no value. The car is brand new. He was very uneducated, unfriendly. Rude, crass. Overall, the service was absolutely dreadful and I was appalled. I m a VIP member and was treated with zero respect and my vehicle wasn t respected either. So I tried to give them another chance. I made an appointment. I get there. I am told they are too busy to help me. It s a service! The person behind the desk said unfortunately we are too busy today to take care of you. I made an appointment for a tybe B service. That s about a 1000$. I just left. I will not be going back.

We had a terrible experience with the service department for a routine check up of our GLE 2017. We dropped the viehcle on Thursday morning and was told to get a call back on Friday. When no one called back on Friday afternoon we tried to call and spoke to several people until they located our viehcle untouched. They did not open a ticket on Thursday and our viehcle just sat at the back lot.

They called back on Friday and promised to call back on Saturday morning. The same thing happened when we tried to call again to locate the viehcle and can not reach a person who know where the viehcle is on Saturday.

How can the service department be in such a chaos where no processes and orders are implemented? Compare to Mercedes dealership we have a much more superior service with Honda dealership- they will at least call you back within 30 mins after leaving messages.

We would be afraid to send our viehcle for service going forward!

Horrible experience after selling is completed. I bought a 2017 GLE with a mandatory executive shield protection package for $399. I argued that I don t want that but it wasn t helpful. It s forced by the store. Just 4 days later I learned that there are a series of deep dings on the backside of my car (which I didn t catch at the time of buying) as if they are traces of a previous accident (not reflected in CarFax). I called them and learned that NOT only the protection package doesn t cover this but also the promise that I got for a 7-day return policy wasn t true. So effectively I got screwed. They completed the sale and now don t care about fixing the dings (even though they charged for $399) or at least return it. Will never ever buy from this fraudulent dealership. I feel financially abused and at very least disrespected by their lies.

This review is for my excellent experience leasing a 2017 Mercedes C300 Sport 4Matic from Mercedes of Bellevue on Friday 1/19. The folks I dealt with specifically were Yu-Ching (David) Song and Sales Manager Tae Ho Su.

I had seen online that they were advertising a loaded up former loaner 2017 Mercedes C300 at a great price. Actually, it was so good a price, I thought there was a catch to it especially because AutoNation is not necessarily known for having the most aggressive pricing and for also being largely no-haggle. I reached out immediately when I saw the listing (it was after closing) and was contacted the next morning by David. The price was indeed as amazing as advertised. So far so good.

We did negotiate back and forth a bit on some of the finer points of the lease - interest rate, applicability of my fleet rebate etc. Pretty quickly Tae got involved because I'm a very knowledgable person when it comes to leasing and within a few minutes of that initial discussion with Tae, we had an amazing deal put together for me.

Now, I also had a trade that I owed money on. My initial plan had been to just sell it to CarMax and take a check for the equity. But Tae strongly suggested letting him take a look at it because he may be able to help me save some more money on the lease. Since the lease itself was agreed to in principal, I figured it was worth the drive over.

When I got to the dealer, David welcomed me and we went over the car from top to bottom - there were some minor body issues that MB of Bellevue has promised to correct and the car was missing its second key and books, which they also put in writing that they will correct. Cannot complain about that - in fact, the parts have already been ordered. Tae also gave me exactly what I would have received from CarMax on my trade without any further discussion required whatsoever.

We did run into some hiccups with the deal given all the moving parts of the lease and the trade - the initial method that Tae had devised to use my trade to save on taxes on the lease simply didn't compute properly in the finance system. It took about an hour of collaboration between myself, Tae, and the wonderful woman in finance (her name is escaping me at the moment) but we were able to re-arrange the transaction in such a way that I left having saved another $500 total over the life of the transaction. Tae, David, and Finance all stayed after closing to help make sure this deal would be processed correctly the first time.

David made sure before I left that I knew the ins and outs of my new Mercedes and offered to schedule a time for me to come back and go over any questions I might have.

Overall, I could not be more thrilled with my experience. I know others that have posted here have had very mixed experiences with other staff and managers. My advice is to skip all of that and start with David and Tae from the get-go. From my first email to when I picked up the car was less than 24 hours. Can't beat that!

Also, pro-tip for those of you with a trade. Get your car appraised by CarMax and take your offer with you when you go to any dealer.

Amazing service, courtesy, response, and honesty. I brought in my E350 wagon for service after a cross-country road trip. There were several things wrong with it. Everyone there remembered me when I came back (several times--it was complicated). Everyone was friendly, courteous, and helpful, while being quick and professional. Rafael was my advisor and was so helpful, pointing out what were safety issues, and which were just maintenance. Would buy a car there just to be able to get service there!

Our MB dealer has been quite good and responsive for many, many years. We are in the process of downsizing to one car and to a great deal more reduction to move from a large home to a condo. We explored the options with Dante Jenkins at our MB of Bellevue dealer and he was astounding helpful in every possible way. Dante was with us from the start on this and now, after purchasing a new MB, he is still there with us and for us. In my 80 years I have dealt with hundreds of sales persons with a variety of acceptance and respect. However, I have never seen someone in sales as knowledgable, as comfortable to work with, as respectful and as dedicated than Dante. He is not a "salesperson." He is an uniques person with the ability to inculcate mutual respect right from the beginning introduction. Dante knew or found out every question we had about the class of vehicle that we wanted and he contributed immensely to offering points of view, not pushing an agenda other than doing what was best for us. Dante is a winner in my view and is destined to be a major success in anything he pursues. While we had an excellent experience with the finance department, Dante helped walk us through the process in a prompt and courteous way without "hot box" sales pressure for extras that so many people complain about--he would be a great addition as a finance person. We trust him implicitly as he does not sell cars, he just makes it happen with, not only a new MB but also with a friend, an advocate and a super person. And, by the, way, we drove off with our new MB totally satisfied with our experience. I would never hesitate to recommend Dante, whatever his endeavor, to our wide expanse of friends and associates. The last two have come from Bellevue, Washington and the sales and service they have provided far exceeds Linwood, Tacoma, Seattle dealers. Dante Jenkins had to jump through some unusual hoops to get what we wanted including delivery in Florida so we could drive across country, personally delivered paperwork to the US Post Office due to delays with Fed Ex, researching some of our usual questions - will regular tire fit wheel well, what about adding additional undercoating due to salt being put down on our icy roads, keeping us informed regarding build and delivery of vehicle. Dante, and Josh is Service, are delightful and easy to conduct business with!

My car was given back with scratches all over it, some that went down to the metal. I will never take my car back to Mercedes benz of Bellevue. I've received better service from a gas station garage.
They reluctantly offered to buff out the scratches but all the while saying it's not there fault. Seeing how careless they were, I won't give them the opportunity to do more damage.
