The service at Jim Ellis Chevrolet was good. The only thing that I saw that was a problem for me was the fact that the technicians work on these high dollar cars and lean over them with nothing to protect the paint from scratches from the tech's belt buckle or smudges. I think that this should be addressed immediately. Otherwise, service personnel was pleasant and professional.

My experience at Jim Ellis Chevrolet over this December was incredible. It all stems from my business elite account manager, Mike Champness. After repeated calls to other dealerships and not getting return calls and/or my needs met, I talked with Mike who not only listened to what I had to say but also delivered on all of his promises. He was a true professional and an outstanding customer representative. As a business owner with limited time, Mike made the whole process seamless and enjoyable. This is exactly the type of employee that any employer would be happy to have work for them.

From start to finish, my experience was seamless. I was hesitant at first to take on the responsibility of buying a new car - considering my old car was paid off and has been extremely good to me. But Ernest and Tim made the process enjoyable and were more focused on meeting my desires versus just trying to make a sale. Ernest was transparent about certain features, add-ons, the design and functionality of the car. As a first time buyer, he really provided a lot of great insight. And, I was in and out within 3 hours - which I'm told is unheard of when purchasing a new car. Tim did an amazing job with explaining all of the financial components and various deadlines/due dates. I'm still on a high from my visit Saturday and can't thank the Jim Ellis team enough. Matthew (my car's name) and I are getting along just well. I'd definitely recommend my family and friends to visit the Jim Ellis team for their next purchase. Thanks again for an awesome experience!

the worst experience I ever had with a dealership .. my vehicle was towed to the shop by a wrecker service 105.00 dollars can in at 10.00 am was told I have a 10 percent chance it made get look at did not get looked stayed in same spot .being from out of state .. hotel 125.00,rental car,65.00 next morning the service text said it will be later before my vehicle get look at ..I explain to hm I can't not loose 2 night play ,another day of car rental ,hotel rental text rep said it was his problem {disrespect} 10 minutes later he said I needed a 4400.00 transmission ..I told him no way.. I was charge 155.00 . for a nothing .. charge s for shop expense my vehicle stay out side all night I was also for shop supplies ..mr. t.pruitt .was a bad tech and disrespectful over charge that shouldn't have been charge. contact manager twice no return call shame on u all I will talk to a later about this situation. ...

Since I am new to the area, I thought I would try a dealer to see what's wrong with my car. My 2006 Chevy Cobalt has been rolling to a stop when I drive under 30mph and my check engine light was on. After visiting Jim Ellis, I realized why I NEVER go to car dealers for service. Since I live in the city, Jim Ellis is kind of far so I made an appointment for 7:00AM so that I could drop my car off and get to work on time (which is downtown). So when I arrived, I was the third car there (6:45am). So I'm thinking, this is great - I will be in and out by the end of the day. A service rep got me checked in and informed me that Dara would be my service consultant. Dara made sure she said hi before I left. She said she would call me when they figured out what the problem was. Well 12:00pm rolls around and I haven't heard from them. I called twice and no answer. I called a third time around 1:30pm and Dara answers and says they haven't gotten to my car yet and that it's still early. So I explained to her that I'm trying to make transportation arrangements so I need to know what's going on. Well 3pm rolls around, still no phone call and that point, I was very upset. So my guy friend calls them around 3:30 and Dara explains that they still haven't seen my car yet - she also said they are a very busy shop and had a lot of walk ins blah blah. From what I can remember, people who make appointments have priority over walk-ins! Any way, they offer me a 2014 Suburban because they need to keep my car for another day. So I get there at 6:10ish, rushing because Dara was getting off at 6:30. She all of a sudden had some results. 1. she said they couldn't figure out why the car was stopping while driving. 2. In order to see why the check engine light is they need to replace some oxygen thing (sorry, I don't know much about cars). I said, how much is that going cost? She said, $360 for hour and a half labor. I said no thank you, give me my car back. She said ok, we will will comp you for today. Seriously? I'm not paying anything! They had my car for almost 11 hours and they didn't do a thing! My friend asked if I could get a customer service survey. She said no, that's only for warranty customers (that's crap). I would not recommend this place AT ALL!!

gm/chevy is a ripoff when it comes to replacing new car keys that got lost. They make you tow your car in to dealership(an additional $100 or more) and charges around $250 to have key programmed and made). That is way overpriced for a small piece of metal and computerized programming technology that doesn't require a lot of capital or labor. Somebody down the supply chain is the ripoff artist. Please bring back the old fashion keys. If Jim Ellis and every other car dealer isn't responsible for this then they need to be very vocal to their headquarters.

I Felipe Escuadra, I am very unsatisfied with the customer service here. I recently bought a 40,000 dollar Tahoe from this dealership. At first everything was fine, until I found several sun cracks on the dash. I went into the dealership to report this and they proceded to tell me it was in no way covered, I have only just signed the paperwork and started paying a 40,000 SUV, and now there was nothing they could do. They only gave me options to cover up the problem out of my own pocket, I told both the salesman and the manager I wanted something nice and well kept. I believe they should take care of their customers throughout their lease, but the only care about getting you to sign the paperwork. After that they do nothing, I am very unsatisfied with the way I was treated.

My boyfriend brought a car here less than 45 days ago. He is still waiting on his tag decal. He has called numerous of times and have NOT gotten a call back. I have worked in the automotive business for 7 years. When he called over the weekend and spoke with a gentleman, he had the guy on the speaker phone so I and his mother could hear the call. NO COMPASSINATE AT ALL!!! This is ridiculous, I know Georgia has changed their laws, but we need something to be done ASAP. It isn t fun paying a car note on a vehicle that we can not drive due to this tag decal issue. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!! I took my 2015 Chevy Truck in for an ABS brake recall. I was called by service rep 3 weeks before, and I let me know that I needed a loaner car as I could not wait the 3 hours for the replacement. Service rep said no problem, and we made the appointment for 10 am 10-26-2018. I showed up and dropped off the truck and the Service rep Mr. WOO told me that my recall does not deem a loaner and I can wait for 3 hours to get this fix. I got my keys back. I the owner of a small business and I made the proper arrangements. Jim Ellis' service department told me that I would have a loaner and did not deliver on the promise, wasted my morning. Terrible service and misleading. 1 star.
Service dept is the best. Ask for Brandon!! Great guy and great service.

We just purchased a used car from Seymour Content...

We just purchased a used car from Seymour Content on Monday. Seymour was extremely knowledgable and helpful. We got in and out quickly. He knew the car and its history. He help us get the deal we needed.
My only complaint is with finance department, which tried to put in a 72 month loan a ridiculous interest rate. Took to much doing to get the down to a reasonable number. Also I felt bulldozed into a 7 year 100,000 bumper to bumper. Which seems be a good deal, but I did not get the review the terms and conditions before saying yes. PS I am refinancing through my insurance company.

AGAIN Seymour was great, would buy a car from him again. A week later he is still helping me over the phone with XM and onStar. Thanks Seymour

I bought a vehicle off this establishment a year ago. My divorce had been final for ten days, so I went and shopped for a Mustang there. I was in a desperate time in my life, and wanted to do something for myself. They saw me coming a mile away. The salesman showed me an old CarFax that said the vehicle had no prior damage; it was a used car. I bought the car and drove it home. 3 months later, I found out that the car had been in a front end collision before I bought it. I was outraged. I called Jim Ellis Chevrolet twice. I told them the they had sold me a wrecked car. Both times, salesmen almost laughed at me when I told them my story. They tried to weasel out of their responsibility to give me any kind of refund. Both said that they would check with their managers and return my phone call. OF COURSE THAT WAS A LIE. This staff is incompetent. They are underhanded in their dealings. When given the chance to make it right, they sarcastically reasoned with me. Then they didn't even have the manhood to return my phone call. I WOULD NOT BUY A DOG COLLAR FROM THESE PEOPLE.

My truck needed some repairs so I called Jim Ellis. I was so impressed with Lisa during my initial conversation I decided to make an appointment. It turned out to be a great decision. Luis, my service adviser, was very professional and knowledgeable and kept me updated throughout the process. I also got a chance to meet with the department supervisor Brandon regarding a warranty issue. What a great guy he was to deal with. Just an exceptional experience. These guys really do care. I will be back.

Just bought a new truck from K- LO for third time and he did an awesome job again . I called him at 7 pm and drove to the dealership and had the deal done by 9 and that is hard to do in the car business and everybody should go see him .

F'n Jim Ellis, tried to tell me I needed new front shocks to eliminate the front end squeak and wanted $637 to replace them. My trusted mechanic replaced some bushings and bump stops, problem solved for $219.

The last time they tried to tell me I needed a $285 windshield wash reservoir pump when it was just a disconnected hose.

I have purchased 3 brand new vehicles from Jim Ellis and been getting them serviced there for over 15 years...and this is how they treat their most loyal customers?

I paid $158 for a diagnostic to find out why my antifreeze and oil was leaking to be to why the antifreeze was leaking and that I would need to pay another $135 to find out where the oil leak is. This has never happened to me at this dealership. I've been taking my car since 2014 and trusted them totally. I feel that I am being taken advantage of! The only good this is the conversation with Tony the Shuttle bus driver.

It's amazing of the lengths service has gone to in order to cover up their wrong doing. The service guy that took over for Luis took the time to delete his notes about my concern about my oil leak. Unbelievable!!!

I contacted Jim Ellis through TrueCar, and got a call only a few minutes later. I wasn't planning on going to look at a car that day, as I usually bring my dog with me to work but I take her to daycare if I am planning on running errands. Jerica in the internet department said no problem! She watched my dog for me while I test drove a Honda CRV. Very kind of them to accommodate my pet!

I took the CRV to my mechanic the next day. This CRV was the EIGHTH car we took to my mechanic, and the very first one that has no issues whatsoever! The mechanic even said they were asking a very fair price. Not only that, but when I got back from the mechanic, Jim Natili, my salesman, was able to cut the price a little bit! I called my husband and we came back the very next evening to pick up our Honda. Tim Autry in finance is a very funny guy, and made our transaction a breeze.

Thank you, Jim Ellis! We'll be back if we are in the market for another used car in the future!

Never had such a horrible expierence especially with purchasing a vehicle! The salesperson did not want to negotiate much and seemed irritated after we insisted. Along with finding out AFTER we purchased a vehicle he lied to us about numerous things. The main thing is my husband, myself, and the salesman all realizing a lemon size hole in the bottom fender of the 50th year Anniversary Camaro that was not noticed until after the car was washed detailed and had just been purchased. I also purchased a scratch protection and interior protection plan. He promised to fix it as "none of us noticed beforehand" (probably because of the way it sat so nicely right beside a curb) needless to say HE LIED he did not honor anything he said he would do and needless to so no one else did at the dealership either! The manager here took a week to call back only to tell me that basically the men there are not good for their word and are con artists. He pretended to be concerned took up more of my time by taking information to " forward to the GM" only to remind me the promised hole to be fixed was never put in writing and he apologized but never followed up, never returned my call, and probably never informed the GM at Jim Ellis of such disgrace and disrespect! I would NEVER buy another vehicle from this dealership or another salesman that would even remotely remind me of Mr. SMITH'S character. I am currently looking to cash in the protection plans as I would never trust or accept the service Jim Ellis offers ...which I strongly feel is slim to none!! Unfortunely, I can not recommend this place of business to anyone..ever!

I would highly recommend Jim Ellis to any car buyer. Coming in equipped with an excellent TrueCar quote and our desired vehicle, the sales process was very pleasant. I could tell from the start that my sales rep, Dennis aka "DC" was there to make me happy with my purchase. DC's customer service was a BIG reason why we decided to purchase with Jim Ellis.

I was also pleased that Andre, the business manager, worked with a network of 30 lenders and shopped for financing rates on my behalf. He listened attentively to us and was very patient while we reviewed the pricing and effective benefits of each service option. In the end we found a high-mileage extended warranty that was offered to us at a reasonable price.

Given the excellent TrueCar quote, financing options and warranty pricing we received, together with the evident superior level of manufacturer quality in our 2020 Colorado LT, we expect that our total cost of ownership will be terrific for us. Well done, Jim Ellis!

My Car buying experiences was amazing when i got my car a couple months ago. Today i went in for my first services and one tire issue. The gentleman handling the desk was very nice and welcoming. Told me it would be about an hour for oil change and tire rotation. I let him know the tire sensors was off in my front left tire, he said they would take car of that. about 45 minutes into waiting the Service Advisor came out and said that everything was done and that there was actually a nail in my front tire and that's why it kept loosing air. He said unfortunately it was in a place that couldn't be repaired and i would need to purchase a new tire. i let him know that i would first go to Kauffman Tire in Brookhaven where i have always gotten my tires. He says well let me know b/c we match prices. I left the dealership and headed to Kauffman tire where i let them know my tire had a nail and if they could take a look. When they came back to me they said " you're good to go! i was like what? they said it was in a repairable spot on the tire and that i didn't need a new tire and was good to go." wasn't even charged for the tire patch. NOW THAT IS SERVICE!! Very disappointed that a company would operate on false information to customers to make a sale. My grandfather worked for Chevrolet his entire career and would be ashamed if knew this was how they now conducted business. I will not returning to this service department if i can help it. JUST want all consumers to be aware that you may be told you need certain things done when in fact its not true. Get a second opinion unless you have car mechanic knowledge. i wouldn't give them even a star if i could post this without one. Disappointed.

I m just disappointed at this point. I came to this dealership with my own financing. Try to be extremely patient while waiting on my car to be delivered to this dealership. I purchased an electric car. I was told that my car would be charged prior to picking it up it wasn t. Call the dealership numerous times about assistance with getting a charger to be able to charge the car no assistance from my sale person Ron I ve been told numerous times that the manager on the deal Mike would communicate back I ve gotten no response from nobody. Now here we are almost 45 days later and my temp tag is about to expire. I call my Tag Office and I have been told that the tag information was put in the system incorrectly as if I was not a Georgia resident. I am so dissatisfied and displeased as big of a dealership as Jim Ellis is I Expected much better customer service. And better due diligence on their part of paperwork.

The service department was super nice on the phone. I just recently moved up to Atlanta and my breaks basically went completely out. I took it to Jim Ellis for them to look at it. I told them not to fix anything until I knew what was wrong with it because my uncle owns a GMC shop in my hometown and I wanted to call him once I knew what was wrong with it. Jim Ellis service department told me that my master cylinder and break booster both needed to be replaced. My uncle told me to bring it down to him and so I did. Once he looked at it he informed me that only my break booster needed to be replaced. The customer service at Jim Ellis was good, but maybe get a second opinion before letting them work on your car or truck.

Spent 2 hours longer than anticipated, signed the agreement, the car was sent to their maintenance shop to install an accessory and when it returned it was damaged. Looks like someone hit something on the front bumper. They agreed to resolve the issue. All in all, they were a little slow, caused damage to my brand new car, but they were fantastic with their willingness to make things right. Thank you Tony, Jamie and Mario. Much appreciated!

before purchasing my car at this location. My first experience in the service department was very rude from the staff. I walked into one of the service area at the Peachtree Industrial location for to pick up my second
set of keys. I stood in the area for about two minutes before three of
the service employee acknowledge my presence (Rude) (Rude). The female employee was on her cell phone and never looked up. The other
two men employees were going over some paperwork. I had to ask them about my appointment. I excuse that incident.

I have been waiting on another call from upper management about my
last and final experience at Jim Ellis Buick GMC Atlanta 5862 Peachtree Blvd Atlanta Georgia 30341. I came in for an appointment to service my
2016 Chevrolet Tahoe. I pulled up in the service garage and entered
the front desk area. This was my second time at Jim Ellis service center. I was told to leave my car keys and ask the service desk worker. Where
was the sitting area because I wasn't in the same area for this appointment. I was told that I have two choices of the sidewalk to sit on.

I couldn't believe what I just heard. I ask again and the front desk
service worker repeated it again. Who would tell a customer to sit on
a sidewalk. I wasn't told to sit on a sidewalk during the signing of
my vehicle paperwork. I have never seen this service desk worker in my
life time and was very upset about what he told me. I was on my way out of town and mention what happened that day to my husband. He called
the dealership and was transfer to someone in higher management. I think his name was Matt . My husband left a voice message with Mr. Matt(the VP). The VP called us back and was trying to excuse the service
guy rudeness. He made it seen like a joke. I wasn't laughing and as of today I haven't laughed.

Please do not send me one of your cut and paste about Jim Ellis is rated
one of top rated car dealership for service and sales.

I'm very aware that certain situations are excellent, good, and bad.
You can't excuse this situation. Your worker was very rude and unprofessional. I will seek service at another dealership.

See the picture attached I was going to buy this Corvette $39,364 plus tax etc (paying cash $100 bills) and then when I was actually going to pick it up it was almost $46,000 plus tax etc! It magically increased $6000! LIARS! They said it was a "misprint" well that's false advertising! Stay away from Jim Ellis Chevrolet and 3900 Peachtree industrial here in Atlanta.

So a year ago I purchased a 2018 Chevy equinox from Jim Ellis Chevrolet. On 8/3/2018 someone ran into the back of the car at 50 miles an hour and totaled the car. I called Jim Ellis to get the Manufacturer s Invoice for the gap insurance on 9/17/2018. The salesperson answers the phone. I explain to him the situation. He offers to sell me another car but I tell him maybe in two weeks to a month, ill be ready to purchase another vehicle. He then forwards me to his manager who then forwards me to finance who never answers the phone. I call again the next day and someone in sales answers the phone. I explain to them the situation and they offer to sell me another car. I tell them I am not ready yet and they hang up the phone. So, this goes on for a week. On 9/25/2018 I finally get someone on the phone from finance. They place me on hold for 20min and hang up. I don t understand what going on at this dealership. It seems like they forgot that customers are how the lights stay on. As salesmen, their goal should be to build relationships. I have worked in customer service for 8+ years. As a salesman, if a previous customer calls me and says my car was totaled alarm bells would go off. I would do everything in my power to help him/her and follow up with them weekly until they are ready to purchase another vehicle. You guys have forgotten that customers are important. I live an hour away so its going to take 2 hours out of my day just to come to the dealership to get a paper that I am positive can be emailed to me. I will never purchase another vehicle from Jim Ellis.

Jim Ellis Chevrolet overcharges, performs unecessary repairs and refuses to stand behind their work. I wish I had investigated their terrible online reputation and poor reviews more carefully. Not to mention their pathetic D rating from the Better Business Bureau. Jim Ellis Chevrolet is dishonest, unethical and certainly undeserving of your business. Do not take you car here unless you want to be ripped off!!!
