Troy was my salesman. He was great. The finance crew were awesome too. This is my second Corvette I've purchased there. If you want a good deal, this is the place to go.

If you don t want to be called a liar and told you should have done your own homework before coming in and buying a vehicle then I wouldn t go here. Because that is exactly what I was told. I bluntly told my sales consultant that I wanted to
haul a camping trailer to Florida a couple times a year ( the sales consultant said this truck has at-least a 6,000 towing capacity). In which we were TRUSTING our sales consultant to give us the correct information on the vehicle we were purchasing. When I called up there to talk with the manager I was basically told I was lying about the whole situation, and that I should have done my homework and not trust the sales consultant to give me the correct information. Um? Isn t that their job, to give me the correct information? I thought we could TRUST them. They only want to make the sale and they do not care about the people involved. I have never had a bad experience with anyone I have ever purchased any vehicles from. I wouldn t want someone else to experience this. Even after I had talked with the manager they still could not tell me what the towing capacity is on my truck. I can honestly say I will NEVER go there EVER again. My recommendation is less than a 1. Thanks again Jim Butler for not training your sales team correctly. Apparently, the managers needs to be trained as well Bc I still had to go elsewhere to find out what my truck can tow. Because the place I bought it could not give me the correct information. Needless to say, I have called another company to find out the truck will only tow 4,210. My camping trailer is 5,300 pounds. If you are buying a truck I would NOT recommend them. i have never experienced customer service so bad until tonight (and that s because we have already bought the truck). Apparently, they don t value their customers enough because they would properly train their employees to know what they are talking about.
I came to Jim Butler after another dealership was a little too aggressive for my taste. Salesman Brian Andrews was very good. He was not pushy and worked hard to get me the terms I wanted on a new lease, going back and forth with his sales manager several times. He even drove out to my town to help me sign some paperwork! Thanks Brian!
Jeff and Tara were great! They made the purchase and financing process simple. Kudos to them and the entire Jim Butler team!!
I dropped my 2011 Tahoe off for warranty service this Monday 6-23 at 9:00 a.m. and I got a call yesterday that they were finally pulling it in the service bay Thursday morning. Three full days my truck has been sitting there and they haven't touched it yet. I can't believe all these people on here talking about how wonderful their customer service! This is a joke to have a customer's car for 3 days and not do anything with it. I made this appointment a week and half prior to Monday's appointment. This is unacceptable in my book. I will never buy another car from them again. I will go to Weber Chevy.
Useless. Called on the 1st week of October after all the GM recalls were released...left a message. No call back. You can never get ahold of a real person due to the "High volume of recall calls". Allowed a week for someone to call. No one did. Next I tried contacting during their "fast track your recall" form and again no answers for weeks. Next I tried calling this time giving every single detail about recall. No contact again. This was all over the course of 2 months!!! Finally I called the GM hotline for recalls. They were finally able to directly contact a dealer ( NOT Jim Butler because I was not about to deal with them) and made me an appointment quickly.
These surveys are stupid. Butler Chevy gets a '10', because I know if I blast them on a survey, any dealership on the planet will remember me 'as that guy', and from now on, will fart in my car before it's delivered back to me. So..... Just to drive the point home, I'm giving them a perfect score, but does it really matter to anybody? Of course it does, because CSI surveys are legalize extortion against the dealers. 'Get good scores, or we take money away'.
Joe Anatra has earned repeat business from me over the years. His attention to detail and making sure I am taken care of throughout entire transaction of purchasing a vehicle from Jim Butler Chevrolet. Everyone should reach out to Jim Butler for their next vehicle.
Brian and TJ were both exceptional at service and getting my wife and I into the vehicle we wanted with a tough financial situation. I appreciate all of their hard work and dedication to now a VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!
My experience with my salesman was very personal and refreshing. Ardi did a great job helping me find the vehicle I was looking for. Best car buying experience I've had!
I was in town from Springfield, MO and had looked many places for my Equinox. I came into the Fenton location not realizing it was after hours. Heath Goodrich was nice to take his time and answer a few questions for me that evening, even though they were closed. With the time he took and his knowledge, I returned the next day and purchased my Equinox. It has done everything he said it would do. Heath was very polite and concerned with what I expected to get with my trade. I have recommended friends to make the trip to St Louis to see Heath, and likely next time we need a car, we will go again.
They charge way to much on labor $145 an hour! Outrageous!
We have purchased two vehicles from Jim Butler in the last 2 months. Best prices in town! If you want a awesome new car, truck, or suv go to Jim Butler. The experience was hassle free! Top dollar for my trade (210k miles)! We had a totally awesome salesman, same guy both times Bow Tie Bret ! He made sure we loved our Truck and SUV. They even went out over 300 miles to get our truck for us! Thank you!!!
Bad sales experience and finally got an out of town salesman for the tent sales event at south county mall to help me. I got mean mugged for using this sales person. And after the fact I needed warranty work done on my car. It was in the shop a total of 4 times in less than a year for the same thing. And every time it was supposedly fixed. And they also tried arguing with me telling me that I had to pay and that the part fixed wasn't under warranty. Slowest, rudest and all around worst car experience I have EVER had. Gave me the run around for a year and made it out to be my fault the entire time. On one occasion, I made an APPOINTMENT to have the above mentioned part worked on once again. I dropped it off at 8am and called at 1pm to check on it. Still 9 cars back!!! I almost lost my mind until they put me in the front of the line. What's the point of an appointment if you're just going to work on it on your own time. This place is a joke.
Edit: Yes you surely WERE part of a tent event at the south county mall. Again trying to make me out to be the idiot. And as far as replacing the starter, you only rebuilt it which didn't even fix the horrible grinding noise. My warranty I bought from you should have covered the particular engine noise but by the time you finally figured out what was going on with it, my warranty was up. I took my car in well before the warranty was up. And you most definitely wasted my time many times trying to figure out what was going on. Like I said, worst customer care I have ever been apart of. Maybe try fixing the issue for your customers instead of insulting them constantly.
Buying my Equinox was easy and painless. They made me a great deal, were up front with all of the information, and gave me a full tour of my new vehicle and all of the features.
Great car buying experience. Brandin was a great help.
Everyone at Jim Butler goes above and beyond to ensure we are always happy!!!! Thank you for your excellence!!!!! As always.
Everyone was very nice and professional. The service was completed very quickly.
I had retired and no longer needed two vehicles. I went to the internet to explore options for selling my truck. I sent an e-mail to the dealership and was soon on my way to sell my truck. I received a great estimate and soon was on my way to the bank.I want to thank Mike Kinney,Megan,Lester, and Brian for a smooth, easy transaction. This sure takes the hassle out of trying to sell on your own. Thank you Jim Butler team!
Got an awesome deal on a great car. The salesman Brian was great to work with. I highly recommend this is our second car from Jim Butler.
My salesman, Mike Marshall, was awesome! Buying my corvette went so smoothly. He really knows what he's doing!!
Buying a car isn't always a smooth and easy process, however at Jim Butler Chevrolet, this was not the case! The staff was very nice and helpful in assisting me with finding the perfect car. Donnie Reckert was especially helpful during the process; He was very knowledgeable and friendly and I never felt pressured into buying a car. He also helped with getting me the best possible deal. This type of service provided for a top notch experience and I would gladly recommend Jim Butler Chevrolet to anybody who is im the market for a vehicle.
Not bad sales men. I can't help it I love Chevy! Just got my Chevy Silverado 1500 a week ago, and it awesome! I got a reasonable price and had a fun time messing with the sales men. If your by chance looking for a good new or used car run by Jim Butler Chevy and ask for Tony Palmer. Tell him Thomas Smith sent you and he will get you in any car or truck you want! He's the best sales man there!
Drove from Memphis to get my car. Brandin is excellent he got me in and out in no time. I highly recommend him for all sales and purchases.
As a mechnic, state inspector, and with degrees in automotive I can say for a fact that this dealership has very low quality repair and customer service. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
What an incredible experience and price! The purchase of our new Equinox was a smooth, pleasurable endeavor thanks to our sales guy John Zensen. His knowledge and expertise made our choice extremely easy. He was very courteous and professional. The vehicle fits our needs (and budget) perfectly. Thanks to you John and the rest of the staff at Jim Butler.
If you need a vehicle you want to go to Jim butler great service will go above and beyond to make you happy!
Had a great expierence buying my first brand new car It was super fast . I had trouble with other dealerships denying us . Took them 20 minutes to get us accepted Dylan eckoff was a great doing his job and gave us the best expierence of getting the car!!!!
Excellent personal touch by everyone selling this vehicle. Highly recommend Jim Butler Chevrolet.
Very happy with my visit to Butler.staff is friendly courteous. and made my experience pleasant. I went in for a service call and was given accurate advice and no pressure after I deliberated on my choices I went back and purchased a brand new 2020 Spark. Again staff was friendly courteous went the extra mile . I definitely recommend Jim Butler CHEVROLET..
Had to deal with a rude associate who told us several times that my car couldn't be worked on, he did not even have anyone look at it before telling us that it couldn't be worked on. When he finally got a lube tech to look at it he told us it would be done in 30 minutes . I understand liability issues and such, but my car is under warranty and I'd taken it to 2 other places that said going to a dealership would be the best course. I couldn't drive 2 hours to the original dealership for an oil change. The situation was frustrating and the associate added stress to a situation that ended up being easily fixed. Just overall disappointed in the way the situation was handled.
This has been by far the worst experience, I expect to wait anywhere between hour or two ,which seems to still be long, dont understand whats the point of making a appointment, On 5/1/18, was by far worst my appointment was for 10:30am , arrived 10min early and almost 5 HOURS and $600 later (3:05pm), my car is ready, what the Heck? A filtered that should have been changed month early when I brought my car in for a oil change, brakes and rotors done, out of that $600 big ones I put out $310 was for labor, labor from what was said why it took so long is that whoever was pull away from working on my car to help someone else ,WOW WOW, Now I have to find a new mechanic
My transmission decided to die about 30 minutes from this dealership when I was 600 miles from home in Ohio, away on a business trip. I had my truck towed there. It is a 2009 Silverado with 197,860 miles on it and very well-maintained. Doug, the service manager, moved people around to be able to assess my truck on an extremely busy Saturday. They confirmed that the transmission did, indeed, breathe its last breath, and they also did a full assessment in order to honestly tell me anything else that needed repaired before I made the investment of installing a rebuilt transmission. This truck is my work truck with multiple add-ons and specialty items, so the cost of repairs was still far more reasonable than a new truck with a new work body and add-ons. Doug personally contacted a rental company, kept one of his best journeyman mechanics on past his work time to assess my vehicle, and had me shuttled to the airport for a car to be able to go home while he waited for parts and repairs. The transmission died on Saturday morning, parts were ordered to arrive Tuesday, and they wasted no time to repair my truck. I also needed ball joints (and alignment because of this). I drove back (600 miles) on Thursday to pick up my truck. It feels BRAND NEW! I am very pleased! Not only do I give this service department 5 stars, I give Doug 5 stars, and I am forever grateful that, instead of taking advantage of someone who was out of state and pretty desperate, I was treated as an individual and provision was made for extenuating circumstances. I even looked at a few new trucks on the lot, just in case buying a new one was a better option. THANK YOU SO MUCH for saving my very dependable work truck! I could not be more satisfied with service!
Although the staff was cordial as expected by company policy, advertisements of a " Fresh Start" are extremely misleading. Shame on you for giving some hope to improve the quality of their lives. At least the staff at Bommarito are upfront about being slimeballs. ( Insert my perfectly manicured middle finger here) ;)
Ardie was an awesome salesman and Mike did a superb job with the final paperwork. They took plenty of time and let me really sort out what I wanted without pressure. Easy negotiation and great service. I ve bought a lot of vehicles and this is the best experience I ve had.
Hands down best car buying experience I have ever had. Ardi, my salesman was fantastic. He was patient and helped me find what was right for me and my family. I didn t feel pressured our pushed in any direction. If I could have gave them 10 stars, I would have!
Highly recommend going to Jim Butler Chevrolet, and I definitely recommend reaching out to Ardi. There is a reason why the place is so busy all the time!
Excellent service overall! I came in to the dealership knowing which specific car I wanted and when I met with the salesman Eric R., he didn t harass me or pressure me to buy right then. He let everything fold out on my time and under my terms. He was there for all the questions I had and let me take my time. Financing was just as great. I have had terrible experiences in a few different car dealerships before so to walk in and have a dealership be so relaxed and just reasonable was wonderful.
I absolutely love this dealership, my boyfriend owns a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu and we have came here for regular services such as oil changes and tire rotations. Every time we have received exceptional service. They are very professional and always fast and efficient. They have the best prices and we will always be this location to service our vehicle. I recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle or have service done. Amazing atmosphere and professionalism!
After shopping at many dealerships we finally purchased a new truck Saturday at Jim Butler. The place was packed with customers and despite how busy they were, our purchase went very smoothly. It's obvious the employees work as a team with mgnt and finance because the dealership appeared to run like a well oiled machine!
Our salesmen was David W. He was pleasant and informative. Thanks David!
This is the second car that we had bought from Jim Butler Chevrolet very happy with them really happy with their service. Everyone at Jim Bakker was so friendly and so helpful to us whether they were our sales person or someone else's. And service treated us like the car was their own car when we took it in for checkups or maintenance or anything. , when I'm ready to shop for another car I will go to Jim Butler Chevrolet.
I searched for over a month for a truck. No other dealer could match the price that I got from Jim Butler Chevrolet. I drove from Memphis TN and had 5 minutes for paperwork, 10 minutes to go over the truck from front to rear and I was back on the road. Great folks, great deals and it was well worth the drive from Memphis TN. The price and service I received was good enough to drive 300 miles each way.
they make buying a car fun this is my second new truck and i will definitely be back for my third
There was an issue with my gear shift. We were told by another shop the whole thing had to be replaced. We decided to bring back to the dealer shop to fix and found out it only needed a little pin or something. I appreciate the honesty.
We stopped by on a Thursday night at 5pm just to look . Eric, the salesman and Stacy in finance were wonderful and stayed 2 hours after the dealership closed to make sure we found the exact car we wanted.
Got my oil changed and they found I was missing a cap under the hood. They replaced it for me. They are very friendly and will work with you with any problems.
I walked into Jim Butler that day expecting to get the same results I had received from every other dealership I had been to. My current situation is not the best to say the least, I am a single mother going through a very rough divorce. My credit is nowhere near fair, good, average, or perfect so every dealership I had been to Told me there was nothing they could do for me, that is until I found Wilcox at Jim Butler. Wilcox could see how distraught I was and the fear of being rejected again that was written all over my face, he went above and beyond and did everything in his power to get me in a vehicle I could afford and a vehicle that covered my needs. Wilcox is the man!
Had to have the vehicle towed in via "OnStar". Both the "OnStar" Personnel & your Team (Bill T. & P. M. as well as the rest of the support personnel) were a pleasure to deal with. Bill got me setup with a loaner and got me underway very quickly. P. M. worked tirelessly to get my '17 Volt back to running condition in a very short time working with Chevy Engineers to diagnose an unusual issue. I really appreciate their honesty and communications all throughout the process. Thank You for your support.
Buying a car couldn't have gone any smoother! Thank you Joe Anatra!
Awesome sales dept. has always worked with me. Great service dept. that has figured out the issues and easily accessible.
I had a great experience with Lawerence and Mike! I will be buying all of my future cars here because of the excellent service!
Taken care of quickly to change oil. Found a screw in tire and plugged it. On my way after that!
Excellent sales staff, very friendly and no pressure at all
They did a great job on finding a car we wanted. Got a great deal. Lawrence was patient and worked hard to get us a great deal. Strongly recommend.
Cannot say enough how easy these guys made this purchase.
Eric Ruchala- thanks for all your help and hustling to exceed every request.
Matt Vallee- thanks for your technical assistance. Even though this wasn't your sale, you never made me feel rushed.
Mike Z- fast, speedy, no pressure getting thru the finance dept.
Doug Darr and Alex Cox- thank you for working fair numbers and overseeing this purchase.
Mike Simms- this guy gets stuff done. Thanks for making my truck perfect.
Had first appointment in service and I was in and out in a timely manner. Everyone very nice and friendly.
I had a health issue that popped up at the last minute and had to gracefully back out of the deal. Jim Butler Chevrolet understood my situation and kindly refunded my deposit. I am having heart surgery on 11/19 and buying a new car became a concern. I should have waited another week, Robert Mason is a first class gentlemen & salesman I recommend people ask for him.
Great system in the service dept. Nice friendly and very fast.
While purchasing a part, the csr in the parts department acted as if I was a nuisance interrupting his day. Poor attitude, poor tact and poor customer relation skills.
great service; clean facility; attentive staff that makes you feel welcome
I had an issue with my car that fell under warranty. The guy was great about getting that handled and fixed, but I also brought my car in for other check ups. I was in for regular maintenance like an oil change, to get my tires rotated, wheel bearings inspected, and to get my tire pressure gauges reset. They fixed the warranty issue, but having my car all day they didn t do the regular maintenance, but still yet called me to let me know that my car was ready to go. I m irritated because I dropped it off at noon and they didn t check any of the issues that were also important to me. I tried to rent a car, but there were a few issues with that. The lady that handled the car rentals was just plain rude. When people that worked with her came around she changed her attitude, but she had a very rude attitude and acted like we were just there to waste her time. We were misdirected multiple times to the wrong area of the dealership. Very disappointed. Going elsewhere to get my regular maintenance done. It s a shame that I m not going to a Chevy dealership to get my Chevy maintenanced.
Stacey Thornton Jr. came out to the car lot and helped us with in minutes of getting there. He was very attend and was very knowledgable about the car we were looking at. He was quick with the paper work and with explaining the information. Stacey Thornton Sr. Helped us with financing and credit rate. Then the best part Stacey Thornton Jr. Deliver the car to me on Monday.
Everyone was so courteous and helpful during my entire car buying process and went above and beyond any level of service I had ever received before at a car dealership. My sales guy Rian D. definitely won future service from me, he was respectful and made every thing so painless! To Rian and the rest of the team at Jim Butler, thank you!!
Excellent! Best customer service auto dealership around! From the time we arrived in the parking lot to the time we left it was all good. We went in this past Saturday afternoon and was looking for a Chevy Silverado (used) and they had many to choose from. Our salesman Troy was very knowledgeable and personable. He helped us look around for what would fit our budget without any attitude. He answered all our questions. We found the trucks to be well priced and not overpriced. Once we filled out the application the finance manager Mike L came and talked to us but since it was getting late and it was Saturday he asked if we could wait till Monday to check for better rates with another bank that was currently closed. We agreed and they let us take the truck home over the weekend. Back on Monday Mike L the finance manager went over differently options and tho we choose another Chevy Silverado more affordable he patiently answered all our questions and made sure we would be able to afford our truck and didn't push us out the door with a truck that would cause us a hardship just because we had the credit to buy the more expensive one. They were honest with our deal and contract. Washed and cleaned up our 2013 Chevy Silverado and filled it up FULL not half a tank of gas. They also swapped out a bed cover for another one we liked better. So they are willing to go the extra mile for their customers. We are very pleased with our experience at Jim Butler Chevrolet in Fenton Mo. will be back!!! A friend referred us there that bought a vehicle there and he got a $100 bonus! Be sure to refer your family and friends. They were also able to work with us on our down payment and taxes to be worked into the contract but we chose not to do that but it was offered. They have a large sitting area with TV, cellular phone charging station, free coffee and free GOOD donuts, vending machines and a separate play/sitting room for children. Everyone was so friendly there we were really impressed! I want to especially mention by experience and observation that everyone of "color" and "nationality" are treated equally here.
Brett was incredibly friendly and took the time to make sure we understood everything! I never felt like we were an inconvenience to him with my questions or requests to see cars, and our visit was full of smiles and laughs! He made buying our car fun, and I would most certainly recommend him and Jim Butler to anyone who needs a new car!. Brett helped me pick a great vehicle and worked with the team to get us a great monthly payment and amazing interest rate. I never felt pressured to buy something I didn t need or want with him.. The whole experience was great! The staff was all incredibly friendly and always had smiles and jokes to go around!.
Jim Butler of Fenton has some of the best deals around I have purchased 2 trucks from the in the past 4 years. Both times every thing was very smooth no hassle sales great experience.
I drove nearly 4 hours to Jim Butler Chevrolet..... I walked in, signed some papers and they handed me the keys to my brand new truck. Simple as that. A few emails and calls prior to the trip made it effortless when I got there. Thnx to Scott and Bob!
Everyone was very helpful and friendly. They even drove me to work and picked me up later that day at 3pm. It was nice to have everything taken care of for me without me even having to ask. Great place and great service!
I just want to tell everyone that I had a wonderful experience at Jim Butler Chevrolet. The salesman Danny Carr was outstanding, he went out of his way to find exactly what I was looking for. He was very knowledgeable about every vehicle that I was interested in. I want to Thank Danny and all of the other members of the Jim Butler Chevrolet Team!
I would recommend anyone that needs a new or preowned vehicle to stop on by and see them!
My experience with Jim Butler was very pleasant. I was able to get scheduled for an appointment right away & everyone was super nice. The service coordinator explained my warranties & how what would be covered. They gave me a loaner car to drive and even gave me options of which cars I d like to drive.
In my case, they did not find a cause for the noise I was hearing, but asked me to come back in another 1,000 miles so they could follow up.
The paperwork was a breeze, there was no charge for the work OR the loaner car AND they even gave me a free car wash! Geez, Jim Butler, I just might come back every week!
Very professional, knowledgeable and kind employees. Great service! Matt Valee sold me my 2017 Silverado Z71 4WD. I love it
Such a great experience!! I am a first time car buyer and they really helped make sure I was getting the best deal and financing really worked with me to make sure I got the payment I could afford! Such great customer service I would recommend anyone going there!
My appt that I made, I had to be turned away....So this appt. I was well taken care of, waited as my car was being repaired. Engine Light had been on, had used On-Star that I pay for every month. That was Very Helpful to an extent. (I can never drop my car off, because I only have my daughter, & she is now back. To work.) Now I m due for an oil change. Wish Dealer would of noticed the day I was just in. Kim Hausman is a great service tech.
I had a wonderful experience at Jim Butler Chevrolet. I am sending all my family and friends here
The salesman was great to deal with. We were looking for a car on a budget with specific criteria and he found it. So far so good.
Excellent service very clean comfortable waiting area highly recommend
1st time at Jim Butler Chevrolet. I was very impressed with Tj Watkins he kept me laughing the whole time. Definitely a great experience .Thank you Tj and everyone else that helped.
This is our second purchase from Jim Butler Chevrolet and Bill Steinlage is the reason why. His dedication and professionalism makes the car buying experience enjoyable and stress free. Your dealership is very fortunate to have such a valued employee.
Our sales man was great! Very professional, he treated us like royalty. His name is Scott Johnson, very nice guy! Also the financial person was Mike Zarlingo also very knowledgeable and helpful. He did everything he could to get us the best rate possible.
Excellent experience from the beginning. This is my second Chevy Malibu that I ve owned and wow do I love the new features on the 2019! Zach Knott was helpful with my financial concerns. I was very pleased with the vehicle choice and color.
The only negative experience I had was they were extremely busy on Monday night so I had to come back in a few days to finish my paperwork. (Being busy though is definitely a good sign) It was just a slight inconvenience to go back because I live 30 plus miles away..
But it was nice that they let me drive my new car home that day even without signing papers. When I came back to talk to the finance manager it was less than 15 minutes so that also was a plus. I will definitely recommend Jim Butler Chevrolet to others.
We worked with Lawrence who was great! Very personable not a pushy person at all. Worked with what we ask for. Interacted with my two little children as we went through the process.
Talked with Tim Rhame and he and his team went above and beyond to make the process as smooth and efficient as possible for me. Got me exactly what I was looking for within the budget I asked for. Can t get better than that. I ve recommended friends here, and will purchase my next vehicle here as well. No doubt.
Excellent experience. Doug Kircher listen to the issues I was having with vehicle as well as understood what I wanted fix. Doug kept me informed as too when and what was being done to my truck. Customer service at it's best.
Everyone was friendly Happy and in a good mood. The service on my vehicle was completed ahead of time.
Update 12/23: I'm done updating after this. At this point, I'm the crazy and unreasonable customer, which no one wants to be. Attempts to correct issues were met with communication errors or claims of not being able to replicate an issue (the ol' dealer trope). I now have a check engine light that came on. Already. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle I was involved in a fender bender that resulted in slight cosmetic damage (replaced front bumper and cap). This was the first accident during my entire driving experience. While this couldn't have affected any of the issues I have reported, unortunately this will be used against me. I accept that I made a mistake by buying from this dealership. I have learned my lesson and I will use the certification warranty from this point forward to address issues. I had a bad experience, but I would recommend going with the law of averages and looking at the average rating as a whole. It seems plenty of people have great experiences at Jim Butler. Best of luck to all.
.UPDATE 12/13/2018: I was contacted by the manager and there are plans in place to rectify the issues. I have updated my review in confidence that all will be handled and corrected. I recognize that human error happens, and sometimes it rains when it pours. Ultimately, good business addresses issues head on. As of right now, I feel that is what is happening. The experience was rocky with some errors, but the anticipated outcome is good. Would consider doing business in the future.

The sales and negotiation stage of the process was fine. Had a good salesman who helped me find the vehicle that worked best for us. HOWEVER, I bought a "certified pre-owned" vehicle and less than a week later I come to find that both heated seats don't work AND there is clearly a warped rotor making a God awful sound while lightly braking. I mentioned the sound to the salesman during the test drive but it seems it was never taken care of. I always have music or the radio on, so it took me a few to realize it was still there. And it's only getting worse. So far, I'm not confident the the certification means much if there are two major issues that are immediately obvious right out the gate. The heated seats don't even slightly work, they just simply don't work. This is going to turn into a headache......
UPDATE 12/11/2018: The newest addition to this saga comes in the form of a wasted trip to the DMV. I received all paperwork from Jim Butler up front and thought all was good to go. I just found out while trying to title and register the vehicle that the vehicle inspection report that provided me has expired and I'll need to get another one before I can register. So not only did I waste time off work to get turned away at the DMV, but I now get to waste time getting the new inspection report AND another trip to the DMV. I feel like I'm just going to start updating every stumbling step I have to take while dealing with this transaction.
UPDATE 12/12/2018: Per the request of the owner posting the responses to my review, I reached out to the sales manager yesterday. I was told that he was there, then transferred to his line. Since he didn't answer, I left a message. Of course I never heard anything back. I should also note that I brought the truck in for service on 12/10 first thing. The service department acknowledged the problem and we have arranged a date that I can bring the truck in for repair. While it's great there are offers to get me taken care of, this is turning into a LOT of work and hassle. I feel like I spent 30k for work. Will update as we go along.
Didn't get to buy a vehicle this time but hope when I go back that I get to purchase a Chevy Cruz. Salesman was really nice and told me I was upside down, thats why I couldn't buy then. I will go back and hope I can buy then
People were nice but maybe 3 of the workers were wearing masks. You d think during a pandemic everyone in a customer-facing job would be wearing masks.
