Update 12/23: I'm done updating after this. At this point, I'm the crazy and unreasonable customer, which no one wants to be. Attempts to correct issues were met with communication errors or claims of not being able to replicate an issue (the ol' dealer trope). I now have a check engine light that came on. Already. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle I was involved in a fender bender that resulted in slight cosmetic damage (replaced front bumper and cap). This was the first accident during my entire driving experience. While this couldn't have affected any of the issues I have reported, unortunately this will be used against me. I accept that I made a mistake by buying from this dealership. I have learned my lesson and I will use the certification warranty from this point forward to address issues. I had a bad experience, but I would recommend going with the law of averages and looking at the average rating as a whole. It seems plenty of people have great experiences at Jim Butler. Best of luck to all.
.UPDATE 12/13/2018: I was contacted by the manager and there are plans in place to rectify the issues. I have updated my review in confidence that all will be handled and corrected. I recognize that human error happens, and sometimes it rains when it pours. Ultimately, good business addresses issues head on. As of right now, I feel that is what is happening. The experience was rocky with some errors, but the anticipated outcome is good. Would consider doing business in the future.

The sales and negotiation stage of the process was fine. Had a good salesman who helped me find the vehicle that worked best for us. HOWEVER, I bought a "certified pre-owned" vehicle and less than a week later I come to find that both heated seats don't work AND there is clearly a warped rotor making a God awful sound while lightly braking. I mentioned the sound to the salesman during the test drive but it seems it was never taken care of. I always have music or the radio on, so it took me a few to realize it was still there. And it's only getting worse. So far, I'm not confident the the certification means much if there are two major issues that are immediately obvious right out the gate. The heated seats don't even slightly work, they just simply don't work. This is going to turn into a headache......
UPDATE 12/11/2018: The newest addition to this saga comes in the form of a wasted trip to the DMV. I received all paperwork from Jim Butler up front and thought all was good to go. I just found out while trying to title and register the vehicle that the vehicle inspection report that provided me has expired and I'll need to get another one before I can register. So not only did I waste time off work to get turned away at the DMV, but I now get to waste time getting the new inspection report AND another trip to the DMV. I feel like I'm just going to start updating every stumbling step I have to take while dealing with this transaction.
UPDATE 12/12/2018: Per the request of the owner posting the responses to my review, I reached out to the sales manager yesterday. I was told that he was there, then transferred to his line. Since he didn't answer, I left a message. Of course I never heard anything back. I should also note that I brought the truck in for service on 12/10 first thing. The service department acknowledged the problem and we have arranged a date that I can bring the truck in for repair. While it's great there are offers to get me taken care of, this is turning into a LOT of work and hassle. I feel like I spent 30k for work. Will update as we go along.
