Yesterday, I had our 2010 Honda Accord Coup serviced at Honda at Tyson's Corner. Our service advisor is Steve Farr. He has always serviced our car and has done an amazing job. We always call for an appointment only with Steve because we trust his judgement and professionalism. On occasions when we have to or choose to wait, Steve will frequently check on us in the customer lounge to make sure we are doing ok or in need of anything as well as offer updates on the service. He always remembers our name and asks about our family. Steve truly goes above and beyond what anyone would expect.
If you have a Honda product, I urge you to give Steve Farr a call. You will not regret contacting him. He is honest, caring, and reliable.

Sold me a used car that within a month of owning would not start. That car has been in two different repair shops for over 2 months total and I haven't even done my first oil change on the car. I thought I could buy a used car from a dealership and have little to no problems after owning many used private seller's car that didn't work out. When talking to the manager of used car sales he said "sorry to hear... we can't do anything about it but provide any information needed." If I can't trust a used car from a dealership then my next car will be new

The purchase process was great, the service...not so much. Pulled into my 11am appointment and walked to the blue team. The service adviser immediately said it would be a 2 hour wait before I could check in. Welcoming right? The waiting room was decent with ample chairs, free coffee, and a cafe. Chose not to eat from the coffee after I heard massive coughing and hacking from behind the counter.
Car was ready in about 1.5 hours, before promised. Again, was extremely rushed in the checkout process. Quickly showed the xx-point inspection, with the service adviser more concerned about asking me for reviews than providing actual customer service. Oh - and I didn't get my free carwash. Mentioned it to the adviser when walking to my car - was told it would be 45 minutes.
TL;DR: A few areas needed improvement with service. Sales was great - extremely low pressure with discounted prices posted on the windows.

Most retailers offer return policies because they stand behind the fact you will be happy with your purchase. Well, we weren't happy with our purchase at this dealership because we assumed that the sales person knew what we wanted so we didn t read carefully on some of the terms they put in our papers (my mistake #2). So when we try to go back to renegotiate or cancel the purchase their initial friendly tone changed, You've bought the car, there's nothing else we can do for you regarding this , told to me by both the finance manager and the general sales manager. Nothing, really? You think that s what your customers want to hear?
Why do these kinds of sales-tactic still exist? With how people shop nowadays on the internet, why do we still let car dealers treat us like this? Charging things such as destination fees, processing fees, dealer s license tax, etc... From the time we walked into this dealership until we walked out, it took almost 4 hours! Why is this wait necessary? (my mistake #1)
Tesla has the right idea: sell directly to consumers, with a 7-day/1000 mile full refund policy. If this is the way to buy cars in the future, I fully embrace it. No haggle, no wait time, no headaches. There are so many choices out there, but this particular dealership here, is a red flag. Especially when they promote customer experience is their top priority.
I read another review posted by a customer who had a very similar story from this place; There is a huge disconnect between their sales and finance people. So the advice from me is: There are plenty of other dealerships in our area (Landmark, Joyce Koons, etc...). Don t just stick to this one that s close to you, thinking that s the only choice you have. if you do choose to go to this one, be mindful of how they treat you after they got what they wanted from you.

I don't need you to contact me or asking me to reach back. I've already made that mistake twice, never again. And I won t ever recommend it to anyone else.
My salesman was extremely patient and very up to date on all the car's features. He is a good man.
My car buying experience at Honda of Tysons Corner was the best I've ever had. I received the "True Car" price up front, which included excellent rebates and tags, title, and fees, on the 2017 Accord Touring that I purchased. The sales woman was outstanding. Very unimposing and did not try to "upsell", as most sales people generally do, in my experience.

5 stars. I drive 40 mins and past a number of other Honda dealerships to go to Tysons - Tim Godinho has earned my complete trust and confidence with my two Honda vehicles.
Unfortunately, I got my new Honda Accord from this dealership.
The sales guy was fine. He did not impress nor did he show any key features of the car.
Problem was during the time of purchase.
A week earlier I had come in for a test drive, got a quote of $22,100. I made no negotiations as I had none of my documents so I said I ll be back in a week's time.
On the day of purchase, I asked the selling price, and it had shot up by $1000!!
So basically the manager said I had "misunderstood" the selling price and called me a liar. After some heated discussions, he said he can honor the price of $22,000.
Totally unpleasant experience, this was my first car purchase and the dealership ruined the experience.
Next comes the finance department,
So they run my credit check and the manager comes out with the "best" possible number which is 5.4%. When I go to sign the papers, I come to know that the interest rate is actually $4.3%. So the manager was not being truthful at all and now they pressurize me into signing the papers since they were closing in a few minutes. I come back home n guess what the price on the paper is up by $100. Granted its not a big amount, but it means they never honored the price.
Had bluetooth problems in the car, took 2 weeks to fix it, had to make multiple trips to the dealership. Their after sales communication is zero. They are not bothered once they sell the car.
Please never buy a car from here, sedans usually sell for $300-$500 less than invoice and their true price is higher than invoice. Ask for flex cash and dealer holdback and other rebates.
I have been there for my Accord service. Service itself was very quick but still has the brake problem that I expected to be resolved. Left a voicemail and email to the person who received my car. Still no response.
Service Manager Brian was excellent. Had to bring my Accord in for a wheel bearing replacement. Was still under warranty. Had no issues... they covered everything... and my car is back to sounding great and driving smooth.
They sent me a special deal by e-mail as following
- Replacing engine oil per specifications (up to 5 quarts)
- Rotating and properly inflating all 4 tires
- Multi-point inspection
- Exterior car wash
So I took my car there for the first time.
Though it was saying Exterior car wash, my car had not been washed when I picked it up after 6 hours. They had definitely enough time but maybe forgot maybe did not want to wash. It was already late so I couldn t ask for it.
Also my other service (Honda of Chantilly) is doing State Inspection for free.
Tysons Honda is not.
So I was there for maybe 5 minutes and then the 1st guy that showed up didn't give us a name, didn't ask our names, or anything, asked what we were doing and couldn't understand a word he said. Didn't even ask what we wanted. By far God awful experience and we didn't even stand there for more than 10 minutes.

This auto repair shop continues to exceed my expectations. They are by far the most reasonably priced shop in the area, they are good at keeping me notified about progress of repairs and the staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend for any type of car.

Poor service , false advertising. It mails you a coupon of $19.95 for "oil change and multi-point inspection". When you get to the dealer, they would tell you that it does not include filter change and you need to actually pay $45 plus tax for a real oil change. Who in the world would change oil without changing filter? Apparently it is a scam. Why for $25 difference they make such a lie? This actually tells you how this place does not worth your trust. We heard the similar stories that this dealer makes surprises of much higher bills/charges AFTER services. Bring your business to somewhere else.
Recently, I was very pleasantly surprised to discover a coupon for a complimentary state inspection recognizing my birthday had been emailed to me by your dealership. It is only coincidental that my inspection month and my birth month are the same, and I was even more impressed that your dealership was aware of this. I have had a very busy month taking care of my mother of 84 years who has been recovering from surgery for over 2 months and had not had time to take care of this task. Mr. Azim of your Service Department went the extra mile to make my visit an enjoyable one. I was promptly greeted by him, and although I hadn't been aware when I scheduled the appointment, I also needed an emissions test, as well, and he graciously accommodated my request. At the conclusion of my visit, Mr. Azim offered me another gift of a complimentary car wash all competed in record time. My thanks to you, Sir! It was a very happy birthday.
Took it in for service. Made an appointment online. I was very surprised to see that they had Dec 27th available (being a holiday week), so I took it. Dealt with Sarah Lucarelli, who was super helpful. Got a good price for an oil change & tire rotation. Overall positive experience.

I love taking my car to Honda of Tysons as they have excellent customer service, not to mention they are very convenient as I work across the street but also the metro is right here and the Tyson Mall is a few stops over and they take such good care of your car as if they owned it themselves. My regular service team member is Jeremy and because I had such a wonderful experience the first time there I get all my work done except my oil changes since I get them for free from Sheehy Honda where I bought my car.
I leased a new 2016 Honda Civic just this week and it was perhaps the best experience I've ever had at a car dealership. I originally test drove a new civic back in February with Jose Mojica, a sales consultant. I told Jose that I wouldn't be in the market for a new car until early April when my current lease ended.
Even knowing that I may not be back for several weeks, Jose still spent more than an hour with me and my wife going over the benefits of leasing with Honda and all the features of the new civic. Jose kept in touch over the next few weeks, but wasn't overbearing like many salespeople I've encountered over the years. Because it was so easy working with Jose and he was so accommodating, I never once considered going to another dealership when I was ready to lease a new car. Jose was great in making sure that a color I wanted would be available by the time I was ready to lease a new car.
By the time my new Honda Civic was ready, Jose literally rolled out the red carpet for me. And despite having been in the showroom only once several months before without committing to make a purchase, Jose made sure that the price I was quoted in February was still the price I'd be paying in April. It was the most no-hassle, low pressure car purchase I have ever made. I was in and out on the road with my new car in less than 2 hours!
If you want great service and a dedicated sales person focused on the needs of the buyer, I strongly recommend buying or leasing from Honda Tysons Corner and specifically working with Jose Mojica!
I'm happy with the car but the customer service is really bad.
They messed up the paper work and I had to go and spent 1 hr more to sign papers again.
In addition they didn't have the DMV paperwork ready. When I went to DMV to get my plates they told me that the dealer didn't have my name assigned to the car...
So I lost many hours from work ... not happy.
Sadly I have to give just one star for a service center. When we were buying our cars, we had help all over the office. So many representatives asked how they can help. However, when I came with the problem, I got no help. My car is sill under warranty and for the past two month I hear the whistle noise from the hitter. I came to check this out on Friday, at 4.40pm and was told it's too late for the service (they open until 7pm). I had to make an appointment for the next week. When I brought my car, the technician immediately check the filter and advised to change it. Then my car went to a mechanic. Seven minutes. Seven!!!! And I got my car back saying it's a normal noise. Not sure why they couldn't do the same trick when I stopped by before. Oh, and I got a toy via mail from Honda with the thank you note for using they service. The problem is still there and I guess I will go to get a second opinion outside of a dealership. It needs to be fixed before my warranty expires.
Great experience yesterday with Honda Tysons. Got my appt on-line for my 2012 Honda (my son uses at college). Had an airbag light come on which they fixed quickly, did an oil change with a coupon I got in the mail, and put in a new battery needed that actually was less than the cheapest one I priced at an auto supply store. Free car wash thrown in. Mike did a great job -- went over everything, and now my son drives back to school -- I can feel the car is in good shape for the rest of the winter. Thanks!
I took my 2016 CRV for maintenance, they did a tire rotation, checked tire pressure, changed oil. Yet, shortly after leaving, an on the highway, I noticed the warning message to check tire pressure. i did not have that message before taking the car in for oil change and regular maintenance, they charged me for supposedly checking the tire pressure! Now, I have the inconvenience of having to take the car in again. Poor quality control is all I can say..

Aylin was the best sales rep I could have imagined, and she made sure that my first car buying experience was smooth. She gave me a fair price for my HR-V and was willing to negotiate when I needed. She helped me through all of the steps and made sure that I was able to communicate with her in every single step, even through text when I had small questions or concerns. Great example of service recovery! Originally went in to get a specific color, set up appointment, etc. but then when I got there, the car color we discussed was sold. I was ready to walk and avoid wasting anyone's time, but then Moses Ayilaran jumped in to save the day and did an extra search of the color and was able to locate it. He walked through the vehicle, met our budget, and got us through the paperwork. Also shout out to Mike and Jesse from the finance team for getting us in and out (even though it took 4 hours on a busy sales holiday) quickly and for their help. Great team!
Purchased a 2015 Honda Fit this year and as a Honda guy, I really don't trust anyone else to use the proper weight oil and filter, other than Honda. I also received a great quote from the service tech to pinpoint an electrical problem with my 1990 CRX. Will take him up on it. Finally, I like the appointment setting process. I'll be back.
I called to check if I had a recall on my vehicle and lady in service department was streamly rude first she told me to go to a website then after I asked you can t check by a vin she asked me my info never asked for my vin then told me I can take it to another Honda dealer it s obviously she didn t want to help then when I Asked her why she was telling me to go to another dealership she said she never said that then I I asked her how do I make an appointment she replied I can take it to any other dealership then when I repeated myself and said so I can t take it there she then decided oh I can make you an appointment but this time I want to speak with a manager but she gave me the runaround and put me on hold for like 15 minutes then she came back on the phone and told me her manager wasn t there anymore then when I asked her name she said it was Savon I asked Savon and she replied yes So they wont be earning my business I m taking my vehicle elsewhere and I will speak with a manager about her
We just bought a used Honda from this location and had a great first time car buying experience. Robin was so friendly and easily guided us through the whole process while helping us get the best deal possible. Raffe was very knowledgeable and accommodating while working through pricing and comparing models with us. Darwin was very transparent with the financing and was always looking out for our best interest. It was a great crew from start to finish and would recommend to all those looking to buy. As always, our Honda service, provided by Tim, was excellent. We never worry about what's going to happen to our cars and passengers when Tim is in charge of the maintenance. 16 y.o. car is running smoothly, and everyone is happy.
I remember going to dealerships with my parents and having it be a long day of back and forth until everyone was exhausted and no one was satisfied. I have bought two used cars before and even then, there was a dreading back and forth.
When I emailed Honda of Tyson's Corner about one of their new cars, Najeem emailed me with an approximate out-the-door price - with all the taxes and fees so I knew what to expect. It was so refreshing after only getting vague responses from various other dealers! And with their sonic pricing, there was no reason to haggle on the price of the car when all other dealers had the car for $2k more.
I got to the dealer a couple hours earlier than I was planning to and Najeem was very accommodating. I got a look over the car and noticed a little scratch and pointed it out. Then we went back inside and I was going to try to haggle down their processing fee which I think is pretty high ($699) but Najeem had PREEMPTIVELY gotten a $200 discount for the scratch I had pointed out. I didn't feel any need to haggle after that. He earned it!
Financing office felt a little rushed. I wish I could have time to read over things more carefully but I at least saw all the numbers and if there were penalties for pre-payment before I signed so all good there. They did show me add-on warranty packages but didn't push them too hard to be off-putting.
After all the paperwork was done and I was ready to take the car, Najeem couldn't find the second key. I asked if he could mail it to me and he said he will call the next day to say if he found it or not and will mail it if he found it or I'll have to come back to make a replacement if he can't. He called the next day to say he found the second key and mailed it express! I even got a nice thank you card with his phone number in case I get any questions.
All in all, I came out with a new car in less than 2 hours in the most painless car-buying process in my life.

Walking into any car dealership for most is usually as painful and unappealing as going to the dentist. But if you ever want a great experience go to Tysons and see Aylin in Sales (new and used sales) and Matt of the Service department. I came in and Aylin was very to the point and attentive to my requests and needs and it was probably the shortest amount of time I've ever been in a car dealership. I bought a used Honda Civic which would usually feel like I was buying a house with all the back and forth of negotiations and hassling but there was none of that here at this dealership. I also needed some minor things fixed and Matt was there to ensure these items were scheduled in a timely manner and fixed the first time. I can't thank them enough for making my experience with them as painless and hassle free as possible. This goes a long way in my book and service is something you guys excel in and delivered quality where many others fail. Thank you again!

Had made an appointment with them 2 days before and when I came to their service line the day of. They had no trace of my appointment. Brian at the service department was really really helpful and instantly fit me into the schedule. He was a really nice guy and called me to check up on me. It's a traditional car dealership, which are not exactly known for sincerity, but do yourself a favor and read some of the 1-star reviews to understand the culture of dodgy behavior at Ourisman. The cut-and-paste review responses from the business asking for details are designed to look good on a public site to prospective customers like you, but in reality the rampant dishonesty and stonewalling you read about is the way the system is designed to operate. They have no intention of actually resolving their mistakes. The little bit of money I spent on undelivered promises isn't worth fighting over anymore, but I look forward to the irony of their review robot giving the same cookie-cutter fake reply below with a made-up job title like Senior Customer Service Manager. If you think the details will be handled correctly for you, well... that s what I thought too. Good luck!
I live in Manassas but only take my car to be serviced at the Tysons Corner Honda Dealership. I love the service that I receive from my service adviser Tim. This is a full service location where I am also able to get a vacuum and car wash. The service team members are great and knowledgeable and always try to find the best price and use applicable coupons towards the final bill.
The mechanics made good efforts trying to fix the problem with the fold down back seat. But found that it is actually just the manufacturer quality control issue since out of 5 vans we looked at, only one has the cover plate perfectly flush when fold down. The adviser said he would try to contact Honda for comments. No follow up call thus far. Overall not a bad experience, but nothing outstanding.
I've been going to Honda of Tysons Corner for 4 years now and have never been disappointed in the service. The staff is phenomal and very well informed with knowledge. They always treat me right and provide the best and necessary service I need. I have also purchased my last 2 vehicles here and have always gotten the best deal from my sales rep Pat McDonald.
After weeks of homework regarding new/used Honda prices, features, pro's and cons, I finally went to the dealership in Tysons armed with facts, figures and trepidation. Nobody likes to do this! All my anxiety quickly evaporated after speaking for a few minutes with Jimmy, the Honda Rep who volunteered to help me see real live cars. This guy was low key, informative, never once exerted any pressure on me to so anything I wasn't ready to do. Thanks to his straightforward approach, I learned what I needed to know, experienced the cars I had only read about and in the end decided to purchase a 2017 CRV. I explained my budgetary limits and without any gamesmanship at all, Jimmy worked to pare costs down to fit what I felt would be comfortable for me. This whole experience was a pleasure.....can't believe I even said that, but it is true. I actually left with a sense of gratitude to my sales guy! Great experience with the finance people and other employees throughout the visit as well. So glad I went to this particular dealership. There's another near my home but this place has won me over for good. Thank you!

The car servicing was fine. But for the shuttle service I had to wait more than 50 mins and I kept hearing 5-10 mins. Had i known this would have requested wait and pickup which was a little more than 1 hour wait. Also there was no complimentary car wash done and when asked during delivery came to know that we need to ask while dropping off which was a bummer.
I worked with Pat to purchase an Odyssey within our budget. I very much appreciated his no-pressure, respectful approach to the customer and to sales, and the dealership worked with me to get my family a minivan we could afford. Great experience overall!

Easiest car buying experience ever! Dul Ganchimeg and Arben Vila were wonderful - and didn't make me feel dumb for asking questions. I highly recommend them! I bought a used Prius after my Honda was bashed up in an accident. Dul had worked at Toyota before so he was able to show me all the unique aspects of the Prius that I never would have figured out on my own.

Excellent service at Honda of Tysons Corner. Plus, the car was very clean after vacuuming and car wash. I don't typically feel like they are ever trying to "up sell" me on any additional service items either. Moe took great care of us during this visit.
My Advisor was Brian Giles on the Gold Team and he took such good care of me! I know next to nothing about cars, but Brian took the time to walk me through everything my car needed and to listen to me try to explain "it sounds like [insert awful noise here] when I start it!" I live in the Arlington area, so typically go the Honda out that way, but will definitely be returning to the Tysons Corner Honda and Brian!
