I brought my 2015 CR-V with 37,000 (pampered) miles in a third time for the rough idle issue and again, the problem could not be found or fixed. Your staff also provided me with a list of maintenance items that needed to be done unrelated to the idle issue, some of which I'd had done on my last visit one month ago and others that were not due for a few thousand miles or 12-18 months later. I was also charged $150+ for this and my car is in the same shape as when I brought it in. I am very disappointed. The excuse given was, you were shorthanded and it was a Saturday. This leads me to believe you sell more cars than you are able to service and in my book that rates a low review for the dealership.

My brother bought 2 cars from them so he took me there to trade my previous car and get a new one. I got the 2019 Honda Pilot. I was really happy with their service. General manager Manual was there to help me through out the whole process and gave me such a good offer. He was a very polite and genuine person. All the other service staff was very good too. My experience with them was very good, I hope you have the same.
Years ago I "depaxes" my Honda at my expense. Pax tired were very expensive short lived no run flat tires that Honda themselves realized was a lemon idea. I kept the old rims around just in case for years. I spoke to service guy who said he would be happy to dispose of rims for no charge. Did not jot down his name unfortunately. When I got there they charged me $25. Thanks Honda for selling me lemon technology, I got to pay over $1000 to change it and the disposal was nice last little insult.
My experience this past weekend at the service center was terrible. Moe was the service agent/mechanic doing the oil change on my car and he was so confrontational and threatening. It was so uncomfortable because he refused to let you reason with him or even have a conversation. I felt so embarrassed because he yelled and treated me as though I committed a crime. All I did was explain to him that I have been bring my car for an oil change for 3 years now and no agent has ever told me to bring a coupon. He yelled at me for something that is not my fault. Why yell when you can speak to me and explain the reason for the coupon?
Worse dealer of Honda. Worse customer service by a guy named David. He always talked negative to any thing I asked, forced me to try the things of his choice and not mine. No test drive given and also asked me to have a look at cars parked outside on my own when I was there to purchase a new Honda Civic.
I bought a used 2013 CR-V from these guys. They wouldn't budge on the price or the value of my trade-in. But they offered a good price to begin with, so no complaints there. The staff was friendly, facilities were clean, and the car was what we expected. Almost. It wasn't until after we signed the paperwork and were heading out the door that we learned they only had one key for the car. Seriously? Those clicker keys cost about $250 to duplicate and program! I'm surprised that they wouldn't at least have a duplicate valet key made before selling the car.
I had an appointment with someone and waited at the designated station for maybe 10 minutes before someone approached me to ask if I had been helped. I responded that I had an appt with ____ and have not been helped yet. He told me that the person I had an appt with had already left for the day. I received no phone call or email to reschedule the appt. I am happy to be seen by anyone but felt like I had to be squeezed into someone else's schedule. Anyway, from the point that I was approached, I was taken very good care of by everyone I interacted with. The service cost was appropriate and the length of time estimate was accurate.
Dont believe the Sonic Price they talk about , it is all BS .. I Saw a car on the internet with a price , car was discounted by $5,264 , I called them to get it but they said there was a mistake in the price and they didn't honor it , I am attaching a photo of the ad they didn't honor. Will never get even close to their door. can trust what they offer as they may come back and do the same.
I bought a 2016 Civic Sedan (touring) from Sonic aka Honda of Tysons. My salesperson, Sanjeev Kaushik, was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I did my research and compared pricing wiith several other dealers. I was very happy with the straight forward experience at Sonic.
The sales lady, whose name I think is Ledy, was the more unprofessional, impatient, and rude person I've ever met. Instead of introducing all the bells and whistles of the models that I'm interested in, she jumped right into talking about my finances and immediately decided to not even introduce some of the models. Then when I questioned her sales strategy, we started a yelling match in front of everyone, and she continued to complain to other salesperson loudly the entire time I was there. It felt like that I had to beg her to sell me a car. Totally ridiculous experience. Would not recommend the dealership.
Feels Honda tysons is good place for service on my experience. Thanks Tony for a quick last minute request are taken care at the closing time of the day on my last visit.
Very long wait. The Honda person helping me KNEW it had taken long because he already figured up a discount before he talked with me. Not happy!!! Definitely will only make early appointments from now on!
David is the best, ask for him. The manager, Hugo is also very nice. They gave us the best price. I shopped every single Honda dealer and Tyson's was the best.
I had the most wonderful car buying experience at Honda of Tyson s Corner! I went in Monday evening and drove off in a new Civic Hatchback Tuesday. Stefani Petrova was an EXCELLENT sales rep. She was nice, smart, listened to me, and honest. I never once felt like I was being sold. It felt like I was meeting up with an old friend! Thank you for making this process so seemless.
Awful service department. This place is a joke. If you schedule for the last appointment time prepare to receive surly service. Management must be on vacation. Oh wait, no it just sucks, like Tyson's Corner.
Assistant Service Manager, Hahn Yoo was wonderful to work with. He provided quotes for the service and did a great job keeping in touch to let me know what the technicians found and where we were in the process. Everything was perfect. If you want your car done right i would suggest Honda of Tysons Corner!
We just bought a CR-V, our second Honda from HTC. We had checked the website to find the model, trim and color we wanted and found a good advertised "Sonic Price". Seemed good enough to pass by half-dozen other dealers to go to TC. The one we found on the net was actually there and Pat McDonnell helped us pour over it and take it for a drive. Then he helped us make the deal and we drove it home. It was a pleasant experience all around.
In for recall work, went smoothly. Waiting room is top notch, great place to work, with free Lates. Associate Brian treated me with first class. Completely satisfied.
Always excellent, fast and very responsive. I was waiting with a tired baby and Moe went out of his way to speed things up so we could get home quickly.
I was particularly impressed with the customer service provided by manager Alex Villegas and his staff. Mr. Villegas answered all my questions (and I had many) and he also took the time to explain the work done on my vehicle. I would definitely return to this location.
I receive EXCELLENT service from Jeremy Hand every time I have any maintenance performed. He's knowledgeable, polite, and a real asset to your organization. Joyce
I've been using Tysons Honda for more than 10 years now to have my Element serviced, and have always left there more than satisfied. Their service writers have always been friendly, explained things to me in simple terms, and have been more than fair with their charges. On a couple of occasions I've chatted with Rob, who is my preferred tech, and he's always been great at explaining the work being done as well. I like that....it's not something you get in most service departments.
Their waiting lounge is also nice, with Wi-Fi and free coffee! I'll definitely keep using these guys, and when it's time for another new Honda, I'm sure I'll be buying from them as well.
Gary was great at taking the time to explain the different options available with each model. He was patient and very knowledgeable on the model I was looking at and ended up buying.
i purchased a vehicle here. the experience was less than satisfying. everything you hate about purchasing a vehicle is encompassed in honda of tysons corner. lying salesmen, false advertisement, shell game financing, tedious pricing negotiations and mysterious extra charges. if you are prepared for this exhausting type of business practice then have at it. it will take all day or more.
Great team. Friendly service. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because my hood was not shut properly and started rattling as I was driving down the highway. Overall a great experience though.
We had a very pleasant experience with the purchase of our vehicle through Honda of Tysons Corner recently. Our sales person, Jose Mojica, is a top-notch professional: extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful and very patient with our numerous questions. His manager, Hugo, was very accommodating as well. Together, they ensured that our automobile purchasing process was not only efficient but also stress-free...no pressure at all! We actually enjoyed it, which is not something would have expected. We highly recommend Honda of Tysons Corner, and in particular Jose and Hugo as an experienced, knowledgeable team. Thank you!
Mike Lewis did a great job servicing by CRV. He got the work done correctly, efficiently and on time. He kept me informed of the status of the service. I give Mike a 100% rating.
Great Experience, Great Deal! Just ask for Moses Ayilaran, best salesperson! Even after the sale was finished, Moses was available to answer my questions. When my husband & I couldn't figure out the electronics, he gave us the answer. Moses is knowledgeable and helps his customers get a great vehicle at a great price!
My experience with Honda of Tysons Corner was really good. Everyone was very helpful. I would go back if edI need to. I also wanted to bring to someone's attention that my first name is spelled Christina.
Every time I pull into this dealership it takes minutes for me to be helped. I wait for someone to not appear like they are trying to run away. I always have to work very hard to get someone...anyone s attention.
I always get very early morning appointments, so i cannot attribute it to them being in the middle of a busy work day.
We've been bringing our 2009 Honda Pilot to Tysons Corner Honda since we purchased it here 7+ years ago. The most recent service was the first major service we had done where a few repairs were recommended as well. The service rep was great and very upfront - however the fees charged for Labor were exorbitant, charging over 1K for the labor on just one aspect of a repair alone. We were forced, due to timing, to go ahead with the service/repairs, but after researching, the fees charged were way above where they should have been. Going forward, we likely won't return.
Went in for an Oil Change. They allowed me to bring my own oil and were able to provide the exact factory oil filter I requested (Which is different from what is normally used - generic honda). The service was done when they said it would be done. They did a standard inspection and pointed out things that needed work. Didn't try very hard to up sell anything. Car was washed as well. Overall very professional.
Awesome dealership everyone was professional and caring of their customers wants and needs! I would recommend as i will be purchasing a 2nd car for my wife soon go see Patrick he was awesome !
I always assume going into a car dealership that its going to be a really annoying nightmare of an experience, but I must say that going here was not. I was interested in seeing a car that I found online and was immediately contacted by Erick Bautista who was extremely nice and helpful. He never tried to sell me something I didnt want which is huge in my books. Needless to say I walked out of there with the car I wanted at a price I was happy with.
We had a great experience here working with Juan Pablo. He helped us get a fair price on the new Honda Insight that we love. Very straight forward and saw us through the long process of buying a new car.
Highly Recommend! Honest, efficient, and great price.
I recently came to the decision to downsize and sell my vehicle. During the selling process, I explored various options but Honda of Tysons Corner was by far, the most pleasant experience.
I was able to sell my vehicle to them at a great price, without stepping foot into the dealership!!! The dealership staff were sent to my home to see the vehicle and provide me with the paperwork. They waited patiently outside while I completed the paperwork. My interactions with Nico and Rodrigo of the purchasing team were great. They were knowledgeable and very efficient. The easy, streamlined process reflects highly of the GM s leadership!
unwilling to do a minor repair. Insisted in doing a complete replacement of an electrical wire and wanted to charge $1677. Got it REPAIRED at a local Japanese auto repair shop for $300. SHAME on TYSONS HONDA
UPDATE: It gets worse. My DRLs were fixed. The day they were fixed, the manager asked me to take down my review. In case he's wondering why I didn't take it down, here's why. I asked for an oil change after getting my lights fixed. I paid for it and left only to get a low oil alert a little over a month after. I took my car to Jiffy Lube and it turns out the oil was never changed. The sticker was never replaced. AND the oil sensor was never recalibrated. I called the Honda manager and he said that it was just because of the way I drove my car. After one month? I've never had this happen. I never got my money back. Never got an apology. This Honda will NOT be getting my service again. Lying and rushing the process doesn't look good on you. I hoped I could update this and give it at least three stars. Now I wish I could give it less than one.
They'll probably call me again and beg that I take this down so that corporate doesn't speak with them. I would appreciate not getting a call this time. I will not be taking this down.
ORIGINAL: My DRLs weren't working, so I dropped my car off. The manager turned my parking lights on and said, "They work." Six hours later, I was told they checked my car, inside and out. I was told the same thing. "It's your settings." They turned my parking lights on and called them DRLs. My lights have since been diagnosed elsewhere.
Service was friendly and quick. The pricing on the vehicles was pretty aggressive and quite competitive so minimal haggling was needed to get a good price. All in all very happy I chose to go to them.
Recently I did an oil and filter change with tires rotation. The service was prompt and timely. The people are good too. However, I was disappointed as there is no courtesy wash and vac.
Service advisor Mo deserves the five stars but I am very disappointed because you keep losing all the great service advisors. Customer service is not the same. First it was Alex Garcia, you should have done everything necessary to keep him..then Jeremy Hand, then Tim. What is going on there??? And the sadder thing is that no one tells you. It is a big surprise when you show up at the service department??!!I have had 3 Hondas in a row and I have been going to the same dealership. I continue to be disappointed!!
I recently purchased a 2014 Subaru from the Honda of Tysons Corner, and the customer service was perfect. The gentleman there really have an awesome camaraderie; Jimmy and Roy made sure everything went smooth on my end.
I'm a first time car buyer went in with my sister, of course a tad terrified. Moses helped me, was very sweet. He made the process easier and recommended me the best car insurance ever in my eyes. It fit my needs, and more. Service was fast, staff were great. If there is anyone in the DMV Area desiring to purchase a Honda. I Highly recommend Honda of Tysons.
Very good experience buying a certified used (barely) 2016 car. Their sonic price is excellent to start and the trade-in value was on the high end of my expectations via KBB. I like that I was able to communicate with one sales consultant via email many times before stepping foot on their lot. He provided the out the door price so I knew exactly what I was in for. They even helped cover much of the cost for a tow hitch that their service department installed before I picked up. All in all, I wa very pleased with the car and buyin experience.
We had a TERRIBLE experience buying a car through this place. I am normally not one to complain, but this dealership has messed up so many times with us I have no more patience. Two weeks into the purchase my boyfriend gets a call that the wrong VIN was written on the purchase form. He went back to the dealership, which is an hour away, to get new temporary tags. Later found out one of the keys didn't work for the car. Thankfully, Doug was kind enough to deliver the new key personally. The temporary tags ended up expiring before the new ones were sent in. When the dealership was called no one from the correct department would answer so we ended up talking to someone in sales. The best they could do was overnight new temp tags. The whole process has not been smooth and we will not be purchasing our second car from them.
Sarah on the red team was exceptional at providing clear communication, prompt service, and thorough analysis of my vehicle. I would recommend her to anyone at Honda of Tysons Corner.
Everybody is so nice it is always so easy going here to get my car serviced I know I'm going to be taken care of. Tim is the best! Seriously.. give that man a raise! He is always going above and beyond and definitely cares about his job and I really appreciate that.
I m a first time car buyer, and Najeem made my experience comfortable and stress free. He was very informative about the features in the car I went with. I ll definitely be back for any car-buying needs in the future!
This is the 2nd part of my review. (See part 1 below.) We picked up our Honda Accord about two weeks ago. Our visit started out with continued professionalism from Fred. He corresponded with me about when we were coming in. When we arrived, although he was working with another family, he made sure we knew exactly what the next steps were. He had the Accord pulled up to the front ready to go. The car was absolutely impeccable...it was spotless! We purchased a 2014 and honestly they did such an amazing job detailing it that it looked like a 2017. More importantly, the dealership service department fixed all mechanical issues such that the car drives so smoothly we're sure we will be driving it for many years to come. We finalized the registration paperwork with a super friendly business manager, (I forgot her name but it begins with a D) and then Fred s colleague Nana put the tags on. Our pick up experience was just as pleasant as our initial visit. I cannot recommend Honda of Tysons highly enough. They exceeded all expectations. We want to extend a sincere thank you to Fred and everyone who was a part of this car transaction. You are a first class dealership!
This is part 1 of my review. The 2nd will come when I pick up my vehicle but I just had to write about the phenomenal experience I had at Honda Tysons Corner! We have been in the market for a car for our daughter. We talked with and interacted with our fair share of used car salespeople and sadly some of them lived up to the negative stereotypes. Not so at Honda at Tysons. We were greeted warmly by Fred Tcheliebou. He listened to what we were looking for, explained what he had in stock, was upfront about pricing including fees, took us to see and test drive a car that might fit our needs, and helped us determine what was best. In the end we decided to wait for a car that was in transit to the dealership. Fred kept in touch and as soon as the vehicle came in he contacted us. We went in as soon as possible and thanks to Fred and the flexibility of his sales manager (Zen) and the mechanics we got a chance to check the car and take it for a short drive. It was in surprisingly good condition with the exception of a windshield issue. (Again, the car had just arrived the night before. ) We felt so comfortable with Fred and the manager that we bought it without reservation after assurances of their normal thorough inspection, necessary replacements, and detailing to come. Betty in Finance was straightforward and accommodating also. We really felt taken care of by Fred and the whole team. (There was a sales associate, I believe his name was Nana, who did not work with us but warmly thanked us for coming and our business on more than one occasion.) Given the excellence in service, we will likely be repeat customers. We look forward to picking up our vehicle and trust it will be in excellent condition. Part 2 to come...
Had car serviced by purple team. Time, the purple team leader took the time to review service options and the one item that really needed attention - brake fluid. Completion of service took only a little longer than estimated, which is not an issue since I would rather the service technicians take as much time as they need to do the job right. I have been a customer at this location since 1992. Continue buying Honda and continue returning here.. Tim even took the time to correct an email discrepancy which had incorrectly routed a service confirmation.
We had a positive experience purchasing our used vehicle. It was well cleaned except for residue within the folds of the seats. The salesperson, Zak, was very pleasant to work with(5 star). We did not meet the sales manager so we have no comment on that experience. We would purchase another vehicle form this dealer.
AVOID -- Tim Godinho and Phuc Bui -- I brought my 2016 civic in on 11/17/18 for a simple oil change. The wait was approximately 2 hours, which was due partly to the Thanksgiving rush; however, the service adviser (Tim) told me that they had near 90 appointments scheduled for the day, but only had a capacity of ~55 appointment slots.
After receiving my car back, I noticed how sluggish the engine was. This was my fourth oil change in 30K miles, and I provide the same oil/filter for each visit. I've never had an issue with my car driving slow/sluggish before. However, I took off for the Thanksgiving season soon afterwards without much thought of the engine (thinking it may just need to adjust.. for whatever reason). The problem was exacerbated on the highway, I noticed the car ran approximately 200-500rpm higher at all levels of output from the engine, among various other issues now present. I checked the oil level immediately upon arriving to family's and the oil read more than 2x (!!!!) above the fill mark. I waited overnight to take the reading while the engine was cold, but the results were identical.
I did an emergency oil change at the local dealership (NOT Tysons), and they documented the oil was grossly overfilled. I suspect the Tyson's service technician, Phuc Bui, used the entire 5qt in the oil bottle. After the local dealership changed my oil, the car ran marginally better. The RPMs are still 200-500 higher at every level of output from the engine. I called my service adviser, Tim Godinho, about my problems and he was extremely apathetic, and never once apologized. Rather, he hastily told me to come back to the dealership and speak with the manager if I wanted a resolution.
Lastly, I returned to Tysons after the Thanksgiving break, and talked with Han Yoo, who agreed to do a basic diagnostic of the car and refunded me for the emergency oil change I had to get. The car did not display any engine codes and Honda of Tyson's Corner said nothing else will be done. I am extremely disappointed with the service received. Honda of Tyson's GROSSLY overfilled my oil and is not willing to remedy the issue despite my car now running poorly.
EDIT: The dealership responded to my review asking to call them regarding my experience (as they do for all other 1 star reviews). The number provided is a general # and asking to be redirected to a manager got me directed to voicemail each time. I emailed their GM, Steve Waersch, but no response.
I highly recommend this dealership and, more specifically, Mohamed Ameyar for anyone looking to buy or lease a car. This past Sunday, I went as a walk-in and was lucky enough to be paired with Mohamed as the person helping me through the process. He was polite, patient, and personable.
I've owned two cars in the past, both purchased from family members, so this was my first time going to a dealership on my own. Working with Mohamed was nothing like the stereotype you hear about car dealers. I went there with a Honda Civic lease in mind and money was a big factor. Knowing this, he didn't try to sell me on the higher-end versions of the Civic or even a more expensive model like an Accord - he explained what the differences were between LX, EX, EXL, and EXL-Nav, but gave me his honest opinion of which would make the most sense for me right now.
At the end of the day when it came time to talking about the costs for the two cars that I liked, Mohamed gave me time and space to think through my choices. While I was making calculations and texting friends for input, he went to the other end of the showroom to give me privacy. When we sat together again, I was tired and confused since this would be the first time I'd be financing a car on my own and the car I chose would be the one I'd have for the next 3 years. Instead of pushing me into making a decision right then, he actually suggested that I take time to go home and sleep on it. He didn't even call me the next day, but rather followed up on that Tuesday in a very respectful way.
Needless to say, I did return on Tuesday and left with my new car:) I rarely leave reviews about my purchases, but I had such a positive experience through this process that I wanted to be sure to share it with others. Even the managers and financing specialist that I met with were a pleasure to work with. If you re looking for a Honda, make your life easy and go ask for Mohamed.
Great, transparent dealership with solid inventory. Worked with Jose who is a fantastic salesman who will go out of his way to help you get what you need.
Pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the experience. I usually dread going to get my car serviced. Shuttle was super quick (driver was so nice, he picked me up to get my car at the end of the day too), they cleaned my car, gave me a free state inspection. I ll definitely be going there again.
Jeremy Hand was very nice and answered all my questions easily. Even though it sucks that something was wrong with my car and I had to pay a lot, the process was good/efficient. Make sure you sign up for their deals/coupons so that you have some discounts you can fall back on when they tell you your whole car needs to be replaced.
I bought my accord from haneen, she's outstanding and I'm so happy with my new car and the service she provided! Ask for haneen for a great service and great car
Honda of Tysons delivers an honest, straightforward buying experience. They have solid up-front pricing and don't play games with you during the buying process (which was not our experience at another Honda dealer in the area). Sanjeev was very straightforward with us and handled the transaction honestly and professionally. He gave us a no-pressure sale, and was very personable in talking with us while paperwork was handled. When they didn't have the exact color/trim that we wanted, they proactively delayed the sale to get us exactly what we were looking for rather than push us to settle on a second choice. All anyone is really looking for in a dealer is an honest sale at a reasonable price, and Honda of Tysons delivers.
Brought my car in for the one year state inspection. The service team couldn't have been nicer. They greeted me with a smile. Although there is a very comfortable waiting room with coffe, computers, TV, etc, I left the car to do other errands with a friend. I was called as my car was ready. And on top of everything - there was a coupon on line for a free inspection, so it didn't cost me anything.
This was another example of the true professionalism of their service department. I have had my car for three years. I have, and plan to continue, utilizing this dealership for all my car maintenance and inspections.
