Honda of Hayward is my go to place for all Honda repairs. They do great work in a timely manner & their customer service is top notch. I moved from Hayward to SF & I still bring my car to Honda of Hayward. I always have a good experience here, it s worth the drive! Thank you Honda of Hayward!

I've been to a four Honda dealers this last weeken...

I've been to a four Honda dealers this last weekend (2018 Memorial) and have called almost all of the Bay Area dealers. Among all of these places, the Hayward dealership provided the most pleasant car buying experience. There was no pressure or no sales trick involve. They waited patiently for me to call other dealers to price compare. The sales agent (Cesar), his sales associate (didn't get his name), and Alexis (finance officer) were just terrific, very professional and courteous. The price I paid for my Honda Pilot EXL 2WD Sensing was the lowest I was able to find, bar none. I got free car wash, car mat, and full tank of gas. If I have to get another car in the future, I will definitely come back again to this place.

The service was like any other place but took a lot longer.
A car wash was included which was nice. I would really like if they speed up their service as it took them 15 minutes to come and get me from my car and then 1hr 40 minutes to do an oil change, multi-point inspection and tire rotation.

Over all quality of service was good.
Value of time, not that good.
Price is high. Online quotes and the quote I received was not the same.

My service tech was great and took his time to explain everything that was going to be done and again afterwards about what was done. I ve been coming to this dealership for approximately 5 years and they ve always been very nice, professional, and courteous.

On this trip to the service department I learned that they are under new management and unfortunately they were not as accommodating and courteous as previous management. Unfortunately I forgot my coupon at home and didn t want to go back and be late for my appointment. It was 15% off $100 service (my service was $439). When I explained that I forgot it (totally my fault) I was told that the new management was very strict and they could not honor it or accommodate me. If having that paper coupon is so important I would like to suggest emailing coupons to customers which is more convenient and easily accessible.

They ordered me a Lyft ride that never came. I had to leave my car there an extra day, after they lied to me and told me they had the part when in actuality they had to go retrieve the part, forcing me to leave my car there overnight, when in actuality it should have taken no more than 3-4 hours. Lastly, they scratched my passenger side door, and when I brought this to there attention, they said, "You had another scratch, so when you fix that one, you'll have to fix this one too."
I genuinely do not like going to this dealership, and would rather drive a city over to the next Honda Dealership to prevent poor customer service, similar to what I received here. If you value your car, take it to get worked on at another Honda Dealership.

LOVE the customer service! I drove from Monterey to Hayward because of great service. Special shout out to Kipp, Raymond, and Shawn. Great team work on working on my budget. Bought a new 2020 Civic and loving it. The process on getting a new car was simple and easy! These guys worked on what I want and I got what I want. Down to the car and the total amount. Ask for them, you will not regret it!

If you are going to service your car go to Ronald Smith, Fast, Straight to the point and no hassle and very friendly. He showed me what services I needed for my car and also the ones that I didn't need. Got a call back from Ron very quickly and was able to pick my car up in less than an hour. Even called me to notify me about smaller things when they were servicing my car.

I had an earlier review applauding the dealership and its service. However, when my Honda Fit was brought in for servicing yesterday, June 9, 2020, the lady who took my call to find out the status of my service was extremely rude. She sounded as if I was bothering her. She may be having a bad day or something but you certainly do NOT take it out on customers. I hope this is not the norm but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

2. A little different than other service centers where the representatives come out when you are in the car for service.. have to put my car in the appt lane and then go inside to find the service center and then the representatives..

I always bring my car to this place to have it serviced and theres not a time that I was disappointed. They were always on point with the schedule and they got good and knowledgeable people that knows what they're doing. And shout-out to Shaun! You were great man! You make sure that I know everything that's being done to my car plus you throw in some recommendations that in a way educates me on how to keep my car on top shape. Thanks man and keep it up.

Honestly the best dealership in the Bay Area. I personally visited Honda dealerships in Fremont, Livermore, and San Leandro - none compare to the staff at Hayward Honda. This is my second time getting a car from them and I am not disappointed. I was helped by Steven, he is super knowledgeable, very helpful, no pressure, and to the point. I would recommend Hayward Honda and specifically Steven, you won t be disappointed.

by far the best car dealership I have worked with. Cynthia was very open and upfront with the purchase and never pushed me into buying the van. I compared the quotes from atleast 6 different dealers Hayward Honda was the best of all. I would recommend every one to c heck them out before making their car buying decisions.

Wonderful experience. The team that helped me, Mike Fraga and his assistant Alicia, are amazing. Funny and so helpful. The loan officer that walked me through the finalization paperwork, John, he's legit. He was able to get me a lower interest rate than I was originally anticipating. I drove off the lot in a car better than I expected.

Had many interactions with dealerships all over the bay trying to get my Honda Accord.

Johnny and Ella went above and beyond. Ensuring I got the best deal and I felt extremely comfortable working with them.

There was no bait and switch tactics or shady dealings going on.

I would highly recommend calling Ella at Honda of Hayward. She did a great job and she earned my business and referral.

The salesperson I interacted with was Ella. First of all, Honda of Hayward was providing unmatched prices for the car that I was interested in. I was very pleasantly surprised by how transparent buying a car from them was. Ella was very helpful and patient about explaining everything to us. There were no hidden fees or any kind of of hard bargaining that s typical at other dealerships. Everyone we interacted with was helpful about making sure we understood the process clearly. Thanks to Honda of Hayward, I got a great deal on the new car and a great overall experience as well.

From the time being greeted by friendly salesman to closing out the purchase with the finance manager, it was a great experience overall. Steve Lee was very informative and understanding of my needs. I want to give many thanks to Honda of Hayward. I came here in Dec. 2018 to test drive a Honda Civic Sport. The man who helped me was LC Finley Sr. He showed me the accessories of the car which included audio, radio, "Sport" mode with paddle shifters, Honda's lane assist, and camera feature. Afterwards, Finley introduced me to Ana-Marie, who is the Sales Manager, and I spoke to her in regards to my time window in purchasing a vehicle. Two months later, I had my mind set here since other local dealerships did not meet my customer service satisfaction criteria.

I purchased my vehicle from this place, and Kenneth Chow was responsible in assisting me and going over the vehicle's features and signing of the paper work. The finance manager who assisted me was Ace. He went over each process thoroughly and answered all my questions. I had presented the proper documentation to allow my car buying experience go smoothly. I was firm that this was car I wanted to buy and own, and I am very happy and thankful I did business with this dealership. I strongly recommend customers to do business with Honda of Hayward! Thank you!

I started my hunt for a new car here when they gave me an online quote that beat other dealerships. When I found another place with a slightly lower price, Honda Hayward did not hesitate to match it for me. Ella was very kind and accommodating and everyone was helpful in making the purchasing process as quick and smooth as possible. I'm very happy with my new car and glad that buying it did not have to be a headache!

Overall, the service was OK.
One aspect can be improved for better management is that when the vehicle was completed with the service and moved to the parking lot from garage, customer should be informed immediately, instead of waiting for customer to ask for the progress situation 30 minutes after that. Paper work and the following procedures shouldn't take that long.

Just bought an Accord Sport from Hayward Honda, had a good experience, I previously bought Odyssey from the same dealership. They are not only friendly but also straight forward. I live in Tri-Valley area, but end up traveling 20 miles closed the deal in Hayward. There is a reason for it. They saved me not just money but a lot of time. All I can say to your viewers is to give them a try next time you buy Honda, find out yourselves... The guy we worked with, Terry Carpenter, is awesome!!

All I have to say is....Customer Service is the best thing here. smiles and genuine care for the people who walk in. a really good atmosphere in my view. Whenever i need an oil change or about what my 17 Honda will need in the future as far as fixing they always provide me with details. there are two guys who always help me every time and never lacking...Oscar and Ronald. they work the service desk A+. Im glad I can bring my Honda here when there is an issue

I have been going to Honda of Hayward Dealer for a very long time and this time the experience was lacking. In past, with every service they used to offer complimentary car wash exterior but this time they did not. Also, In the past they used to bring out my car to me which shows that they care....this time we had to look for our car in their lot and look for technician that can give the keys to us.

9:40 appointment for service, it's 10:06 with 4 cars ahead of me, haven't even spoken to anyone yet. Drove here instead of Automall to save time, but so far that's not working out. I have to sit in my car and move it up as they slowly take in customers. Not a good set up, no signs telling what to do (had to get out and ask if I needed to stay in my car, plus there's no u turn at the light if you miss the small driveway)...don't think I'll be coming back.

He was very courteous and assured me that my car would be taken care of quickly but expertly. 4th of July, my car made a weird noise and when I ...

4th of July, my car made a weird noise and when I pulled over to look at it, turns out the oil line busted and the car was basically totaled. The Helpful Honda of Hayward however, was able to not only service the car, but did so in an outstanding way. Gerardo Valle was the guy that was helping me out, and he did a great job of letting me know step by step what was happening and made sure that I completely understood what was happening. Honestly, if it wasnt for him, I would not have really known anything and just went along with whatever was told to me. I'm so glad I came here, and I could not be more grateful that Gerardo was the one who took care of me.

I have a Honda Civic, and last week, I noticed that the horn of my car was not working. So I went to this dealer on today's morning to replace the horn.

When I went there and talked to the service person. He told me that before he can do anything for me (e.g., replace the horn), he needs to have a diagnosis on my car, which costs **150 dollars**. I was kind of surprised when I heard about this. To replace a horn, you need to charge me such a large amount of money, even more than the cost of the horn itself?

Since I have a baby at home to take care of, I didn't argue with him too much and paid the money. After waiting for two hours, he called me and told me that they confirmed that it is the horn's problem, and they need to replace it. Honestly speaking, I am not happy when I heard about this, because when I first went there, I already told them I need to replace my horn. What they are doing makes me feel they are trying to charge me these unnecessary costs.

What's more, this diagnosis fee is NOT refundable even though I asked them to replace the horn.

I am writing this review to give a heads-up to the other customers.

I don t want to give them any star but has no other option. These people are very unprofessional and only care about selling a car. Once I was done buying the car they did not care about what other questions I had about the car or even went with me around the car to see if there are any defects or scratches around the car. Just handed me the key and told me its outside. Go somewhere else because need better service for all the money you spending.

My 07 odyssey had a problem where windows were not...

My 07 odyssey had a problem where windows were not rolling down or up when operating from the driver side. They charged me 150$ diagnosis to tell me what the problem is. I paid 150$ as a diagnosis fee and the part fees to get it repaired. Repair was done on time and had no issues. But, as soon as i tried to unlock the van using my remote, it did not work. I had no chance to go back to the dealership because of some other previous commitments. After two days, i took my van back there to see whats going with the remote. All they ask for is 150$ again as a diagnosis fee. They were not even listening to my problem. Came back home with disappointment and checked online for a resolution. All it needed was a 1 minute to fix the issue. It would have been nice if they at-least talked to me for couple of minutes regarding issue. All they need is 150$ fee every time. My review is regarding the service department only.

Went in yesterday with the intention of buying a 2019 Honda Civic and left with a brand new car and a smile on my face. Ella was my sales representative and she was amazing from the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out. She was kind, patient and very knowledgeable about everything I had questions about. Carolina was very attentive as soon as we arrived. The whole management and staff were welcoming up to the GM who made sure we went home happy. We appreciate Carolina and her making this experience feel like it was just meeting up with family and not a transaction. We definitely recommend this group and dealership to everyone

Shaun takes care of my car like it's his own. He explains the details of the problem and gives options for repair and budget. Shaun is very professional in dealing with his clients and everybody gets the same treatment from greeting to dispatching and he always follows up to waiting clients when there are delays, that is why at the end if the day it is indeed worth the wait.

As far as car dealerships go this one wasn't too bad. This was my 3rd stop at a car dealership in the pursuit of buying a new car so needless to say I was over the BS. I worked with Mary on Mike Fraga's team and she was very thorough and straightforward. She had me do all of my financing paperwork first and I was agitated but once the numbers were in place the car shopping process was smooth and enjoyable. I purchased a 2015 Toyota Camry and I love it! I would recommend Hayward Honda and the Mike Fraga team to anyone purchasing a new vehicle!!
