There was only one woman working the front desk, I forget her name, but she did a tremendous job. There were at least 4 people she had to help all alone. She had blonde hair, I wish I remembered her name! She is impressive, and didn t charge me to inspect my tires. The whole service was free of charge. I m always happy with Honda, but this woman is exceptional.

Staff is friendly enough. Service is slow. Usually have to reschedule service when I show up to appointments because they are behind.

VERY ANGRY ABOUT MY LAST SERVICE! After they washed my car, my brand new paint job looks like old paint! There are tons and tons of micro abrasion marks on my car now where they used a dirty rag or something to wipe my car down!

parts/service review: Beware ! They always try to oversell service options

I always used Larry Hopkins Honda in Sunnyvale and since I moved to east Bay, Hayward Honda is closest one

I always experience they try to oversell me extra services. They will tell you some extra issues so you will always end up paying twice or thrice the service amount.

I wish there were genuine sales people around who would help you and not always go after your money

We leased a nice new car, love the car but the service has not been good. We did the lease in October, and now 3 weeks later we have not received information on how to make our payments. They contacted me saying that they needed my information to show that I am in the Reserves. I showed them my ID card on the date of the lease, why wait until now to request this?

Now I have to go back in order to make my first payment as they cannot process things quick enough for me not to be late on this.

Also when we got the car, they left a razor blade in the back seat when they pealed off the sticker from the window.

We love the car, but the service to purchase it left a lot to be desired.

Just bought a HONDA CIVIC 2016 EX-L on JUNE 7th, and I was very happy with my buying experience. I would like to do a SPECIAL mention to FAROOQ, KRISTOFFER, JOHNNY, LAMONT, and ROGER for a wonderful customer service, and smooth transaction. I also appreciate when they went out of the way to wash my car esp. when the car wash was CLOSED but Farooq made a call just to ask a favor to wait for my car, thank's for making me feel VIP. Also Kristoffer was communicating very well with me, and was friendly and professional the whole time. So far, so good! Keep up the good work!

Over the 4.5 years I've had my car, their service has been awesome each time. They take the time to explain to me what is what and they always make sure all questions are answered before I leave. The shuttle/courtesy driver lady is super sweet as well. A great team of workers here at Honda of Hayward Service Department.

They really can t take a damn joke an their website doesn t translate well when inquiring about a car. I wrote them about 3 trims for one car. Got an email asking me what trim. I used the words I don t want a dumb sales person trying to sell my something right now. I know what I/we want. Just need help with pricing fast. Then got an email with different prices an apr %. Asked why they were different only cause it wasn t clear why the same person would give me two different options for the same car. I got an email back asking to be more professional when working with them. I ve never laughed so hard in my life. An I thought it was my generation that were offended by everything. Humor builds rapport and shows a persons true color. Thank you Honda for a good laugh at least. I ll buy my next car else where!

It was my first time there and had a long wait before I got seen for my appointment which was really bummer. When I was finally assisted. Things went very smooth in general. Ron was so awesome, he was thorough and gave me options for my vehicle service need. He was also pretty accurate with the time estimate of service and also catered to my individual need as customer since I had important errands to make that day. I almost didn t make it, but he went out of his way to sped up the process. He was fantastic and I might go back for this reason!

I brought my car here for maintenance (change oil + rotate tires) on Thurs. It was quite busy. It took about 2 hours for it to finish. George Lopez has been very helpful. They gave me a discount too. I only gave 4 stars because they didn't give my car a complimentary carwash. I was hoping they would since I saw other cars being washed. But my overall experience is positive.

I heard that this dealership was eager to sell and when I walked in, the area was full of groups obviously negotiating deals. The busyness of the dealership confirmed what I had heard. The salesman that my group worked with to lease a new Civic was personable, friendly, and committed to making a deal. He was also quick to correct any errors in understanding and stayed with us for the entire time it took to get what we wanted. I recommend this dealership to Honda fanciers and will undoubtedly return when I am prepared to buy a 2014 Honda Pilot.

Kris "KC" Cabanesas was wonderful! He was helpful, friendly, no pressure and answered all questions when asked. He had the car ready for us to look at and no pressure to purchase when we first got there.
We ultimately did purchase the car and again he had it ready -had all questions answered and paper work ready. The finance dept was on top of all paper work and everyone was professional, friendly and was ready to help. This is the second purchase we have made with Honda of Hayward. We would go back. They follow up with you in a non pressure way. I like that. Highly recommend. i would give them all the stars! :)

The only reason I didn't give the dealership 5 stars is we had to wait several hours to talk to the finance person. I would go back to them again but they need to add more people to their finance department.

Came in for a walk-in for my oil change. Preston was friendly, awesome, and accommodating. He is super knowledgeable and even gave me tips about bluetooth issues with my phone. Will definitely be reaching out to him next time my car needs to be serviced. Plus, the waiting area has been newly renovated which has much more seating, plugs, and even bagels. We had a terrible experience at Paul Blanco so I brought my 20-year-old to Honda of Hayward and met with Mike Frega. He made miracles happen. We walked out of there in 3 hours with a brand new Honda Civic LX. First,Gerardo Valle helped me with an issue that was not resolv.ed from the previous weekend. His service was quick and helpful and there was an issue with an appointment I was doing on line.Great customer service. I came back the next day, but Gerardo was busy helping another customer, so Brian McCullum helped me and saw that I also had a recall which he scheduled with my other two services. Once again the service was quick. I got a shuttle ride to and from my home. Donna was polite and friendly. Brian followed up with a phone call letting me know what was happening and I was able to pick up my car with same quick and courteous service from the service desk as well. The whole experience was positive from all the staff. Keep up the great work, Honda of Hayward.

They have the best customer service in Honda of Hayward. When I picked up my car from them, I notice quite a few scratches and leftover wax from different areas of the car. My representative, Ali and his manager Steve, both made a promise that they will provide me service until I am satisfied with the looks of my car, as it should be, new. Both Ali and Steve are super nice and reliable when it comes to getting a new car, to ensure that each and every customer are satisfy when they leave with their car.

I was very pleased with my purchase at first. The sales associate was very helpful and I was able to purchase my vehicle which I love. Unfortunately who ever worked on the suspension sometime before I bought it mistakenly over tightened a part. After working with my mechanic to for several fixes to remedy the issue I asked Honda of Haywad to step in. Not only did they not help me and said some nonsense that they could not attribute my abs, stabilatrak and traction control on a defect and not me, but the a-hole who that I talked to extremely respectfully when I visited the dealership about my issue literally told me to hold on because he needed to look up my paperwork then stopped at the table next to me to make a sale. He pulls up the chair at the next table a pretends like I was not there. So I had a conversation with I guess the general manager and said I was extremely offended by the disrespect of his staff. The manager was nice but I had to laugh when he said I damaged my break system when I only put 350 miles on this truck in 3 months cause I have a second vehicle. Lucky my mechanic found the problem. I won t go as far as saying that this place sales, cars with issues or junk, because again I live my truck. What I will say is that they will not stand next to their products when there are issues within the first 400 miles and their customer service really sucks. I m currently in the market buying my wife a car and I will stay far away from Hayward Honda.

The True Car value was lower and when I tried to show them they were not willing to work with us. Just because we were a group of girls and the guy out right declined to even look into anything. Wow! And with everything going on right now in our economy. We ll be heading to other dealerships this weekend.

Brian was my advisor and he was amazing. After servicing my vehicle they even gave me a courtesy wash on my car. Which was amazing cuz as a mother I never have time to wash my car. They have a shuttle and took me home and picked me up. Although the shuttle driver Donna was a bit heavy foot it on the gas with my two-year-old in the back of the car, and she swerved over the line more than once. Overall it was a great experience besides me feeling a little carsick when I got out of Donna's car ride haha.

I paid cash for a 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring. Everything went well until Honda Hayward had the car detailed for delivery and I took possession. At that time it was noted that glue from the protective shipping material remained on the car at virtually every raised friction point on the top, sides, hood, and trunk. The sales associate and sales manager were appropriately surprised, but it was too late in the day for this oversight to be corrected (Hayward sub-contracts their detailing to Sunshine, they closed at 6pm that day). I was asked if the corrective action could wait until the next Wednesday or Thursday. Its now Friday - I haven't heard a peep out of these guys. The car gets 5 stars; the dealership flunked.

had a 2.45pm appointment and had to wait for 30mins before got help. when i bought the car was told service is covered for 5 years but still had to $78.. got my car back they did not wash it. last time when i went to Fremont Honda for servicing they had a very good customer service than hayward location. they even cleaned my car. The girl at the hayward service dept front desk is not friendly at all. i rather go to Fremont Servicing because they make the customer feel important and have friendly customer service. at least when giving the car back spray it with water on the outside. also if the appointment is for 2.45pm then there shouldn't be a 30mins wait.

Unlike most sales agents, Ella was patience with us and did not pressure us to buy anything. She even went above and beyond her call of duties to help us track down the second key for our new van even when she was out sick. It was a great experience. As soon as I reached, within minutes I was attended. The customer lounge is clean and spacious. I was told it may take 3 hours, but to my surprise, my car got ready in 1.5 hour.
The associate was gracious and knowledgeable and he explained me all the details.
Overall very good experience.

I deeply appreciate my experiences at Servicing unit of Honda Hayward. For over seven years My 2007 Honda Accord have never tested any other mechanics but Honda Hayward. My Honda Accord have been in excellent condition till date. Honda Hayward know what they are doing and I love them for that. The only bad experience I had at Honda Hayward was at the sales unit where they over priced my car because that was my first new car. Honda Hayward are reliable and trust worthy to handle any Honda accord repair.

I wanted to update my review below and give a big shout out to Tim, the service department manager. I contacted him when I continued to have difficulty opening the back hatch of my Honda Odyssey. I was told by a different Honda service department that there was some sort of security system installed in the car from the original dealer and it was interfering with the back hatch lock. Anyhow, Tim not only offered me an appointment as soon as I was able to get there, but he fixed the car immediately when I arrived and also fixed the coin tray (see below). And at no cost to me. Nicest guy and the most competent person I have encountered in a very long time! Thank you to Tim!

I was hesitant to write anything as the sales people were all very nice, but my experience there overall was very frustrating. I bought a used Odyssey that had several problems that I noticed even before leaving the lot. I was told by the Honda salesperson that the third party insurance I bought (expensive!) was bumper to bumper, including trim and mechanical issues, but when I tried to get the coin tray fixed (which was underhandedly taped shut when we test-drove the car so I had no idea it was broken), the insurance people said that they don't cover trim and that I had been misinformed. I tried to get Honda Hayward to cover it but they said it was too expensive and they wouldn't fix it. There were a series of other issues, including a nail in the tire (which Honda did fix and they replaced the tire), and issues with the back window and back hatch opening consistently. The service people told me everything worked fine when I took it in and thus didn't need to be repaired. I knew this was incorrect as the back hatch door didn't open the majority of the time, but they didn't bother to do a diagnostic on it and just tried to open it several times on one of the days that it actually worked. I ended up taking my business to Honda Oakland, who promptly ran diagnostic tests and saw that the back hatch door was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced completely, which they did. I will not buy a car at Honda Hayward in the future as I feel like they were pretty nonchalant about everything and didn't seem interested in customer service when it didn't involve the actual sales part of it.
