I had the pleasure of working with Lisa Piombo (Fleet Manager) at Toyota Concord when I was in the process of purchasing a Highlander. She was very attentive, friendly, helpful and was able to get me the best rate. I had a great experienced and I would recommend Toyota Concord or Lisa to my friends when buying a car.

I bought my '99 Tacoma here and except for the occasional oil change, is the only place I have brought it for servicing, and will continue to be the only place I take it (along with my wife's Toyota as well). Randy in the service department is very helpful and attentive to our needs, and I highly recommend him.
Everything initially went well with my experience. My salesman was prompt and polite, but I did need to advocate that not all features listed on the window sticker were installed on the vehicle (roof rack was missing entirely). After we completed our paperwork, we quickly processed through finance. Unfortunately, the car was still the detail shop after we closed the deal, and had yet to be fueled. I had to wait several hours to get the vehicle off the lot. A transaction that could have completed in under two hours took five hours. As I left the dealership with my roof rack boxed in the trunk, I noticed the low tire pressure warning was on. The vehicle was pulling strongly to the right and I needed to stop and air the tires. Both front tires were aired to under 20psi, when they should have been at 35psi. I would call my experience mediocre, but it could have easily been excellent.
Young man treated us in our opinion with Little respect. We are returning to Antioch Toyota. Very busy. They Did Not need our business. We we're clearly wasting their time.
I was in the market for a JEEP and they had the one I test drove. Prior to test driving it my car was appraised I had filled out the application. I initially was hesitate to do so but Daniel K. convinced me to. Then he pushed it off on my manager, Christian. Neither one called me back then I spoke with Robert who did the appraisal and told me that he would be getting backed to me shortly. It turned into me texting him that same day and then calling him the next day to find out the status. He started off by telling me they sent the Jeep to another dealership. I would not have known this If I had not called them back. The unprofessionalism of the SONIC Toyota dealership and the lack of communication says ALOT. They seem to forget that communication is key. Word of mouth can make your business go up or down. MY MONEY IS DISPENSABLE EVERYWHERE!
We've been bringing our cars to Concord Toyota for several years. Arvid helped us this last week and we were very satisfied with the service we received.
All staff at Concord Toyota were very helpful and cooperative from the sells person to the financial manager. The provided the deal that I was looking for and a bit more! I visited two other Toyota dealerships and I am glad that I returned to Concord Toyota. Not only they had a variety of options, but also they were willing to find the exact car of your dreams in other dealers. Overall, it was a wonderful experience to buy my new car at Concord Toyota.
May 6th I brought my car in because the GPS wasn't working right and I needed my tires rotated. Arvid took care of everything and ordered an new GPS under warranty I had. Good job!
I live in Hayward but use the Concord Toyota where I purchased my car and can't go anywhere else because they are just so awesome! Great customer services, wi-fi in a huge waiting space with several tables so I can comfortably work AND have coffee while waiting for my car to be served. What else can one desire? They also gave me a referral for a roof rack place. I will keep coming back.
Not happy about my visit , could not get resolution to get problem resolved, such as re call of restraints and airbag issue, it is always hard to get appointment set, I gave my availability time and date, but they could not get me in, I was told to bring it yesterday and nothing happen, excused given why it was not done, very disappointed.
We bought the new Toyota Highlander from Amer. He's friendly and approachable compares to Toyota dealerships (Hayward and Santa Rosa). All the process went smoothly. Keep up the friendly services.
Great customer service. Fun experience. Sales representatives were knowledgeable, experienced and very helpful. After I bought my car they took a lot of time to walk me through everything very step by step with the new car features and maintenance. I a went to Concord Toyota through the Costco Program which added for extra savings :)
I had my car towed in with a bad starter mid-morning, I was greeted by a service person, Tony, immediately and was in a shuttle home within 10 minutes. Tony phoned me a few hours later with a report on my vehicle and what was needed. I gave my okay and the car was ready by 5pm. I was treated kindly, respectfully and professionally by everyone I came in contact with. What could have been a stressful situation turned out to be smooth and pretty darn pleasant.
Very pleasant people and no sales pressure, going back-and forth from the sales rep to the finance manager to get your right price. I e-mailed the day before I showed up on what I wanted, I received a text and call the next day and set an appointment to see car & start the process already with the understanding of what I wanted at at what price. They didn't have the color I wanted, but they were able to get me one from another Toyota dealer within the same day. By 6:00 PM, we had already closed the deal with the new car! I felt very well taken care of. I highly recommend Concord Toyota to anyone who's looking for a great deal and no sales pressures. Call or e-mail before you go with your expectations.
It s amazing that such basic work on a car can take so long and cost so much. I need to make an appointment to get my oil changed, and it still takes 2-4 hours. Over $100 for oil? Really bro?
I explained my requirements by phone to Lisa P, and she found the vehicle I wanted the next day. I flew from San Diego to Oakland; was picked up at the airport; and was on my way home at 9:45am. My Tacoma was prepped, washed and fueled when I got there, and the paperwork and orientation was completed in an hour-and-a-half. I was home in time for a late supper. And . . . I saved money! Can you believe it? Joe Wolowsky, Escondido
It must have been my lucky day! I had been looking around for a new car for a year. I walked into Concord Toyota and asked to see a salesman. Rolando Catalan was my man. So we went for a spin in an immaculate Camry Hybrid. Pre-owned and very few miles. It was top of the line. I wanted to think about it so we got the paperwork going and I left. The next day I was stranded for a ride since my old car was undriveable. I asked a friend to give me a lift and got dropped off at the dealership... everyone was friendly and up front. Rolando was easy to work with and attentive. I'll be coming back with my daughter when it's time for her to have a car.
Joseph was my SA for the day. He was extremely courteous. Even went above and beyond to deliver my spare key directly to me over an he away. Cheers to Joseph and his exceptional customer service.
Trying to speak to someone in the service department via phone is impossible. I've left message after message and never receive a call back. Very poor service. I've decided to cancel my scheduled service since I can't seem to get my questions answered. I'll go elsewhere from now on.
Lisa Piombo was able to find the exact color we wanted for our 2014 Highlander when others could not. She went beyond the norm for excellent sales service. She is knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely interested in getting you the exact Toyota you are seeking. She even helped us synch our smart phones with the Entune computer system in the car. When I'm ready to buy my next Toyota I will call Lisa first!
I had a pretty weird experience here and to summarize I think they were trying really hard to not sell me the car. Weird right? Let me explain. First off, I buy used cars all the time and work in the car industry so I get cars - trust me on this. I found a crazy deal for an 2016 Audi TT at this store. The price had been dropped a few times since the last digit ended with 4.
The finance manager was downright rude to me when doing the paper work. Absolutely terrible. The manager Nelson was polite but extremely to the point. He would not budge on price. He was barely willing to wash the car before delivery, let alone buff out some scratches on the front bumper. There was a lot of dirt on the pedals - which he grudgingly refused to clean and I drove off the parking lot with about 2 gallons of fuel in the car. So weird that they wouldn't even give me a full tank of gas. Every question was answered with a "Why?" Or a "No."
It's possible they were selling this car at a loss or didn't want to sell it. But they did purchase this car (it wasn't a trade-in) and they set the price. Why treat your customers terribly if you aren't interested in selling German cars?
I was originally being helped by Zak. There was something a little off with his demeanor and service, so I asked to be switched to another sales agent. I had a great experience with Josh then after and left with the car I wanted.
Everybody was very cool and friendly. Our sales person was also very helpful and professional. He answer our questions and explained how is financing works in de France details.
My salesman Daniel was excellent. He was not pushy at all and could answer all my questions. He stayed late to accommodate my schedule and went the extra mile on multiple occasions to make the process smooth and quick. He was very personable and a pleasure to chat with.
My paperwork documented that the in cabin air filter was OK, it was not. It is dirty with debris and needs replacement. I guess I will have to go and buy a filter. I thought all of this was covered in my extra protection policy I purchased when I bought the vehicle. I'm disappointed that it was documented as OK then it was not.
Zack, Sales, and David, Finance, were very helpful, personal and professional despite a very late evening purchase. Both spoke very highly of their boss "Big Mike", which tells me they are a well organized team.
Beware. These folks are very nice when you are buying a car, but are completely unwilling to take responsibility for their mistakes. They sold us a car for $28k and they left the cap off the engine. By the time we discovered it, the engine needed to be steam-cleaned for $200. Concord Toyota admits it was their mistake but REFUSES to pay the $200. Wow. What horrible customer service. I will never buy another car from these people.
This dealership took such amazing care of me when I needed them. I came out of the house one morning to find a flat tire on my Prius. I called two other dealerships in the East Bay first, because they were closer to us, and both told me it would be a four hour wait IF they could take care of me at all.
Concord Toyota said, "Sure, bring it in, and we'll do our best to get you taken care of within an hour-and-a-half;" and they did.
Paul was my main contact and the entire process was smooth. They were wonderful to deal with and I highly recommend this dealership.During the time we waited, someone came out and checked in with us every 20 mins or so and let us know the status. The level of "touch" was impressive. I will definitely be going back.
Please know, we are originally from San Francisco and we do love the dealership on Geary Blvd., Service Manager Mike Kandola, and his team, so please know these feelings are truly heartfelt. We live in Lafayette and have driven all the way in to the city in the past to SF for our regular service. This was an emergency and we are extremely grateful that Concord Toyota was there to help us when we needed them.
Was originally referred to this dealership by Navy Federal. I didn't have any particular car in mind, and I ended up getting a certified used Prius in the end. The whole process was pretty smooth and not too pushy (for a dealership). Also, their financing actually beat Navy Federal's this time too.
After the purchase, I had to bring the car in for an alarm install as well as a minor repair to the plastic of one of the light fixtures. On my way home, I also discovered the car pulling to the right slightly - something I hadn't noticed on the test drive. I called their service department and Ami added an alignment check to the appointment.
I moved to San Jose, so getting up to Concord on a weekday was tough. Ami set me up with a rental car and arranged for me to pick up my car outside normal service hours. They did not have the part for the light so I had to schedule another appointment after they had ordered it. Also, I noticed the car still pulling to the right after they fixed the alignment. When I told Ami about this, she was very receptive and assured me they would make it right.
Ami was super helpful making another appointment that worked with my schedule, and getting a rental car again for me. They replaced the light and the tires, and the alignment is perfect now.
Thanks Ami and Concord Toyota for the smooth and thorough service!
Bought a Camry SE recently. With the Costco auto purchasing program, it brought the price significantly lower than what I was able to find at most dealers. Worked with Jose at first and when I found out about the Costco auto purchasing program his colleague assisted with the purchase. Apart from the waiting time due to processing and conferring with management about pricing, it was a very smooth and pleasant experience.
This is an updated review from one star to four stars. I've purchased a car through the Costco Auto Program at Concord Toyota in the past with Ryan Slusher. He was fantastic and made the process easy. Fast forward, four years later (May 2019), I went through the Costco Program again to purchase a Toyota Corolla Hybrid at Concord Toyota. I was contacted immediately and was scheduled for a test drive. Upon arrival, there was a friendly gentleman who greeted me and asked if he can assist me. He went to get the sales person, Lisa Piombo. The test drive was quick and easy. I liked the car and was ready to buy. I told her that I want to buy through the Costco pricing. She did not provide me with the pricing sheet and quickly looked in a binder (she did not show me what was inside the binder) and stated that it was $100 off the invoice pricing. Feeling uneasy, I asked if she was sure. She said yes. I trusted her, so I signed all the contracts. I took the car off the lot. I had a bad feeling, so I contacted Costco and the General Manager, Big Mike, at Concord Toyota. While Costco was working on confirming the pricing for me, Big Mike quickly took initiative to make the situation correct. He apologized for the inconvenience and how the situation was mishandled. He refunded me the difference for the Costco pricing immediately, and compensated me $245 for my time. He was truly professional. For that reason, I would return to Concord Toyota. I would definitely never buy with Lisa Pimobo again though.
Concord Toyota has been providing excellent service for me since 2013. I was able to schedule a same day appointment for a routine check up for my car and the work was finished within 2.5 hours. These guys are friendly and professional and I definitely recommend them for your service needs.
My experience with Concord Toyota was excellent. I arrived at the dealer at 8:30 AM and left with my new car at 10:30. Very smooth and professional service.
Very stressful, confusing, and a deal could not be worked out. Unfortunate. Also, we had an appointment with a particular sales associate, arranged in advance, and we were not notified that his hours were changed and he would not be in.
It was my first time coming to Concord Toyota for maintenance. My advisor, Gerald Ervin, was my favorite out of this visit. He was very thorough, friendly/ the best manners, and made sure I was taken care of through my visit from start to end. Would definitely come back
Super great experience with Concord Toyota, I had just bought a 2016 Scion that needed some service, they took care of that right away. However I had a mechanical accident which resulted in an inexperienced tow truck driver (unrelated to Toyota) cross wiring my battery jump, essentially frying my car. Toyota & the tech working on my vehicle were exceedingly thorough in finding & replacing all my damage as well as working well with my insurance. It did take some time but for the extent of the damage & replacement of fuses, battery, & wires they were still pretty fast yet thorough at getting my car repaired. Nicole has taken care of me every time, highly recommend. I ll definitely be going back to them when I need servicing, I ve never had such a great experience with a branded dealer. Thank you guys so much
It was a seamless experience. There were a few people in the dealership who helped me out in the entire buying process - Mo, Robert and Angel. Mo was the rep who i met on the first day i went to the dealership. he discussed the different options and he processed the initial documents i signed. Robert was person who assisted me when i returned to the dealership after 2 weeks to pick up the unit. We went to test drive the unit before driving it home. He prepared the unit and i just waited for all the documents for signing. Angel was the finance manager and he was easy to talk to. i had a pleasant conversation with him while he worked on my documents. Robert even fueled up the unit to full tank before i left the dealership. Great customer experience. More than what i was expecting - based on my experience with car dealerships.
Sorry for the length of this review, but I want to be detailed. Allow me to share my experience.
We drove from Sacramento to Concord to check out a Venza they had for sale. The day before my wife was in constant contact with the sales person scheduling our visit, because it's almost 1.5hr one way drive. The next day we inform the salesperson we are on our way, and will be there in approximately 2 hours. We arrived exactly two hours later, and she was no where to be found, and was out helping another customer. We waited for ~20mins, and began to grow impatient. We asked the floor manager if we could just talk with another sales representative, as it was a long drive there, and we had already informed the salesperson we were on our way with a set time. The floor manager denied our request to see another person. We waited again for another 15 minutes, and we still had no representative to even show us the car to see if we liked it or not (keep in mind there were 4 salesman sitting outside, and waiting for customers, and doing nothing). At this point I became frustrated, and called them on their stupid policy, and informed them it was impacting their sale, and we were ready to just walk away. The floor manager got on the overhead PA system, and in a less than friendly tone, called for a salesperson to come help us. Once we had a salesperson to help us, they couldn't find the keys for the vehicle. I was disappointed because we had been in constant contact, and were hoping to expedite the process in doing so. The salesperson that did help us finally, was friendly and courteous. We did decide we wanted to purchase the vehicle, and began to negotiate. Once we settled on a price, we sat and waited for almost an HOUR to talk to one of the finance officers. The finance guy was nice, and chatty, and approachable. Overall it took us 6 hours at the dealership to finally drive away. I am on the fence of whether I would recommend this dealership to a friend.
I bought a used Audi A4 from Concord Toyota and could not have been more pleased with their service. I found the car online in the morning, sent an email, was called back quickly, and negotiated a price and potential trade in value over the phone. I then drove 2 hours to pick up the car and was pleasantly surprised to find that they increased the trade in on my current car, which I would never have expected. My salesman and finance guy were fair, honest, and straightforward. I'm very happy with the price I paid for my car, and would work with them again.
I will never buy from this location. There were a ton of sales associates around but they were more interested in talking amongst themselves than helping anyone. My sales associate showed me one car then disappeared. After I looked at a total of three cars without her, I finally saw her talking to her coworker, joking around. Then another two sales associates decided to open a truck bed infront of me and had a date night just sitting there talking directly in front of me while I looked at a Highlander. Not once did they ask if I needed help!
AND many employees walking around indoors without mask!!
I wouldn't take my Toyota to any other dealership. Daric and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The waiting room is always clean and comfortable, with coffee waiting.
Tory Walton and Lisa Piombo are the BEST! We bought a Toyota Tacoma Prerunner from them on Monday and it was the smoothest, easiest transaction. The best part about buying a car from them is we felt no pressure to buy and they gave us a great deal. I will definitely go back to them next time I buy a car. In fact, we love out new truck so much we are looking to buy another. Thank you so much Tory and Lisa for taking such good care of us. We are so happy with our new ride!!! Also, a shout out to Andy in financing, he was hilarious and really made our signing experience fun!
This place was amazing the gentleman who helped us was so energetic and you could just feel the positive energy from him. He was a lot older , and a straight shooter. I wish I could remember his name because I would definitely recommend that If you are going to purchase a new car this is the place to go. I have never been so satisfied with the purchase of a car as I was here. But it was definitely the gentleman who helped us with the purchase that made this place rock. Thanks
Half of the staff are not wearing masks indoors. Had an appointment for a safety recall. After 1 hour of waiting (30 mins indoors), I have left. My first and last time here.
Edit: the dealer called. They state that they have a very good Covid-19 policy. However as the picture shows the staff is not following the policy. I don t think anything will change. Will avoid.
This place is clean however the customer service is awful if you don t know the service person they will let you wait for a good while and ignoring the customer they pretending that they are so busy, busy talking and joking around to each other.
Just drove in! Within 4 hours I was a NEW Hybrid RAV owner! Everyone was friendly and professional. This is turning out to be the vehicle of my dreams. I can't wait to really get it out on the road!
Thank you Concord Toyota for the great customer service. Samuel Regacho was so helpful during our entire experience. He was knowledgeable, professional and you could tell he was a family man himself. When it came to start the financing part of our transaction, Bhupinder Garcha was very personable. He gave us options with the financing and maintenance plans of the vehicle and helped us ensure the best fit for us! We didn t feel rushed or pressured to make decisions and he was very nice. We will definitely tell our friends and family to check out concord Toyota when looking for a car. Thank you to Sam, Bhupinder and Big Mike for a great car buying experience!!
they were nice and accommodating till they get you a car sold. My car was financed and the finance manager knew it, yet they sent the pink slip to me where they should have sent it to the finance company, tried to get a hold of the finance manager and sales manager so this could be fixed, but, nobody returned my calls, had to go out of my way to go there and return the pink slip!!!!!
Contacted "Big Mike" to present a trade-in towards the purchase of a Highlander. He assigned it to Lisa who was very responsive and attentive. We were able to reach an agreement over the phone so everything was ready for me when I got there (I live over two hours away). Do your homework ahead of time, present your justifications (data) for your offer and you'll find them very reasonable. No surprises or "gotcha's", best new car purchase experience ever.
I was very happy with the service. Costco first sent me to City Toyota but they said they could not get me a black Corolla Nightshade Hatchback for a month or two. You did it in 24 hours! Everything went smoothly. Kelli made it easy and picked us up at BART. Thank you.
I brought my car to Concord Toyota to have it serviced recently because of a safety recall notice I received from Toyota and was very please at the friendly professionalism of the people I encountered there. This consistently has been my experience every time I've brought my car there. I've purchased my last two cars there and each time I've been impressed with the transaction and how I was treated. They know what excellent customer service is all about.
At my dad s suggestion I purchased my first vehicle here recently, Jeep Cherokee. the only complaint I could have had is the wait for the financial part, not that I had expected to be in and out within the hour but by the time I came here I was annoyed in their defense it was because I had already been to the nearby CarMax and was told the wait would be 45 minutes which it wasn t, (more like 1.5 hours) went to another dealer and had the worst experience I ve had interacting with a sales person; so by the time I got here I was burned out. The Sales Rep Joseph was quick to help me asked me the qualifying questions; model I was interested in what my price range was, and wether I was buying or financing, and was very transparent about the availability (was the one and only). Unlike the experience at the other dealer the sales rep did not try and sell me on a different vehicle, but as it was the only one available if I had another choice which I did but I was definitely set on the Cherokee. As I did with the other dealer I asked what the out the door price was and he said it would be this amount but insisted it an estimate that my credit would determine what the full OTD price would be, big comparison to the other dealer where that sales manager did not want to give me a price. He put in all the numbers gave me what the value would be with the GAP and extended warranty, I wasn t entirely sold on the extended warranty at first, but in the end having mentioned the coverage covered something I ve had go out in my last 2 cars I was sold. Overall my interaction with Joseph didn t feel at all like he was selling me anything, but instead assisting me in purchasing my first vehicle. I work in sales as well and this is how I hope to sell.
Singh answered my online request in less than two minutes. He was SO nice throughout the entire process, letting me drive "my" new-to-me Mustang for over an hour while I ran it by my two adult sons to get their thumbs up. He even helped me transfer a whole ton of stuff from the trunk of my rental car to my new Pony! Big hugs to everyone at Concord Toyota -- it's clearly a genuinely happy place to work!
Nice place with good waiting area which has free hot drinks, TV and charging station, workers are mostly nice and friendly. Only downside is it could take long time for big jobs
I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and the whole team worked with me to get it. There was no real fuss and they answered all my questions. The test drive was great and I'm supremely satisfied with my car.
Sales associate Rodney Johnson was very helpful and knowledgeable about the car i was interesded in. For such a young associate he had very good customer service skills and i recommend anyone looking to purchase a car go to Concord Toyota and ask for Rodney Johnson.
After a terrible experience of AutoNation Toyota Hayward, we had a amazing experience with Concord Toyota especially our salesman Robert Schoevaars. He listen to what we were looking for. Showed us a couple of options. Never felt pressured. Coming to a final price was easy and with little stress. Thank you Robert and thank you Angel in finance.
Really liked the atmosphere there. No pressure salesmen. We dealt with Ahmad the first day day and Stanley the next 2 days before we bought our Sienna. We were only going to look at a couple vehicles to get an general idea of what we were going to buy, but we ended up test driving and finding a minivan that we loved so we finally decided to buy here. The price was better than I saw anywhere in a hundred mile radius especially for a used 2017 SE Premium van. We had bought a Sienna from Concord Toyota 8 years ago and got a good price but we didn't really like the atmosphere....or the maintenance department quality so we stopped bringing our cars there. We are now considering trying their maintenance dept again due to the great experience we had with the new attitude of of the business. From the manager to the final checkout with the finance guy, my wife, 7 yr old daughter and I just really like all the staff. They were really personable, not in the old line of slick salesman, but as, seemingly, genuine, nice people. And about the van: the SE premium drove better, was more comfortable, and better looking that any LE or XLE that we saw or that I researched. We also tested 2017 and 2018 Odysseys at another dealer (we didn't try any premium models due to the high cost way above the Siennas). The sienna just felt like a better quality and muxh nicer looking van at that price point. I researched Kia/Hyundai but we just didn't like them.
We were getting ready to take a fairly long trip using the car, a 2013 Avalon Hybrid, so decided to go in for the 25K Service early, at about 23K. Service went fine, the only problem is that the car's computer reminder for the service continues to pop up, despite the fact that the service has already been performed.. Clearly, the servicing technician should have turned it off once the service was performed. Other than that, no complaints. If the manual does not provide a "fix," I will have to take the car back to have it corrected.
Kunle was my salesman. I was introduced to him via the Costco auto program. He met our needs and offered us a great deal for my Toyota 4Runner. We bought a 2021 Toyota Sienna XSE hybrid and he made the process very quick and efficient: from start to finish. I did however leave feeling a bit uncomfortable. The closer was very friendly and giddy when we first sat down to finish the paperwork but once I declined for any of the extra services that she was offering, the vibe shifted very quickly. I understand it s her job to sell me extra services however, she made it very awkward and uncomfortable. Once she knew I was not going to add anything extra, she no longer explained anything I was signing for and she no longer made eye contact with me. It was very awkward. Kunle on the other hand is hands down a great salesman!
I always get get service for my car at Concord Toyota. Arvid is my service manager and he's always polite and get things done quickly. I highly recommend Concord Toyota for buying and maintaining your Toyota!!
