I have owned my 2005 Odyssey for a long time and have more than 195,000 miles on this gem. I have taken my Van to Hayward for everything with the exception of two service issues in all this time. Most recently it was just a general oil change, but I was in and out on a "waiter" and they were very efficient. Preston was my service advisor this date and took great care to get me out as quickly as possible, and when I asked for the car wash, took care of that as well. Shawn is my favorite advisor and is always pleasant and remembers my name.

Robert Miller is the best. I stopped by close to closing because my warning message about Low Tire Pressure came on. I asked if I needed an oil change, he checked and said I was close to needing one. I thought I would have to make an appointment for the oil change. Robert said he would check my tires and set them to factory specifications. He also said he would do the oil change so I wouldn't have to bring it back.
This type of service at Honda of Hayward, keeps me coming back for service on my cars.

We were completely ignored. Took a solid 15 minutes until we asked to speak to a sales person. We tried haggling over price for an hrv and we were simply told no. We countered, "I guess you don't want out business?" And we made like we'd leave, they said nothing.

We've also stopped talking out other vehicle to this dealership for maintenance. They never seem to want to service vehicles and always act smug or rude.

Honda of Hayward ordered and replaced both of the recalled Takata airbags in my 08 Ridgeline... drivers and passenger side. Although they were ordered at the same time, the passenger came in 8 days later so I had that replaced first. The driver's bag took 4 months to be delivered from the Honda Corp. but Honda of Hayward got me the morning after it arrived. I passed on the courtesy shuttle and spent two hours in the waiting room with free WIFI for each install. Fast, friendly and professional.

Oh man was I disappointed to see the this dealerships lack of integrity. This was the most disappointing experiences I have ever had with any of my clients at any dealership. From the sales lady locking and unlocking the car from inside the dealership multiple times while we were looking at it, to the cracks in the tires. I deemed the car unsafe to drive, especially on the freeway.. We drove 3 hrs to see it. I strongly advise anyone buying any cars from this dealership to tread lightly and be very careful making purchases here. I have seen many small dealerships do things like this but would never expect this out of a reputable dealership . Keep in mind I got still got paid from my client. I m just warning everyone that wants to do business with this dealership.

I had my Honda Odyssey services here recently. Oscar, my service rep, was awesome. I was delighted to have everything done efficiently with my needs in mind. The extra $20 VIP car cleaning is the best value for having the inside and outside of my car sparkling clean. Great job!

Kris very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. We arrived at a fair price for the vehicle and the trade in. I would definitely recommend Honda of hayward to family and friends.

Very disappointed on my service visit 6/20/16. I had an appointment for 7.15, arrived there at 7. I noticed two lanes, left lane was empty but it had a big sign on top with an arrow pointing to it that clearly said "Without Appointment", I read it several times to make sure. Since I had an appointment naturally, I went to the right lane. I was 3rd in line. I noticed the first car was empty, obviously left there overnight. Meantime two cars pulled in to the left lane that said "Without Appointment". When the place opened at 7AM, i noticed a service man immediately helping the first car on the left. My friend who was with me at that time, and I voiced out our complaints and said we have an appointment and we were here first. The car that you are attending to is on the lane that says without appointment. He said it's first come first serve here. Really? Then what is that sign for, i pointed it out to him. He said again it's first come first serve and I will not argue with you. to which i said tear the sign down if you are not going to do your job properly and fairly. He was even so sarcastic as to say, oh and do you want me to attend to the first car on your lane even if he is not here since the car is first in line? Nasty and rude to say the least. I have bought my two cars here and have been coming to this service place for years, since my kids were little. And now they are in their late 20's and mid 30's.! So disappointed to be treated as such. At any rate we did speak with the Manager Chris, who was apologetic about our experience and said he is doing his best to better the procedure in their service department. The service tech who attended to my car George was very helpful, courteous and prompt in calling me about the issues with my car. By the way I did not get the complimentary carwash that I used to get.

I made an appointment for regular maintenance/service 2 days prior to bringing in my 2005 CRV. Drop-off at 8am before work was fast and easy. Got an estimate for the regular maintenance and a separate estimate for an issue I had with what I thought might be wheel balancing. The maintenance service was done before lunch. I decided to wait on the wheels and they did not charge me for the diagnostic test drive which normally would cost $60. Everyone was courteous, professional and friendly.

So, I really had to think about this and I apologize to Honda for not providing a review sooner. I think that I was spoiled at my previous dealership in Lompoc, Ca, which is a small town and isn't as busy. Therefore, I didn't have to wait as long for an oil change.Now, I appreciate that Hayward looks out for me and that this particular appt took longer than usual as there were some added issues which needed to be addressed but in general, my appts for oil changes tend to be lengthy. My previous dealer placed a sticker in my upper left windshield as a cue to when my next oil change would be due and that didn't happen here. Typically, following my oil changes here there is a small amount of oil leakage on my garage floor the following day and that didn't happen at my previous dealer. The people here are great, from service rep to cashier to the shuttle driver. And I appreciate the fact that Hayward doesn't try to upsell me stuff that I don't need and do try to save me money. Again, they have a great staff and I am just spoiled by my previous dealership

I dealt with Mark Fauzi mainly. I was in the market for a new 2017 honda pilot ex-l awd. He was the first dealer to come in at my price I was willing to pay without hesitation. Even when a competitor tried to beat thier price they anwered right back and competed for my business. Heck even the "big" dealerships with huge inventory couldnt even come close to honda of haywards prices. Once we agreed on a price , I came in with my pre approved loan and actually offered me a lower interest loan . There was no hidden fees like other dealerships . The sale was smooth. I literally came in and left in a brand new car within an hour. Im very happy with the staff there. This is the way buying a car should be . I do recommend this dealership. They will fight for your business and give you a good deal. Please ask for Mark Fauzi or steve they were awesome.

I leased my car from here a few months ago and, honestly, the experience was very disappointing. My seller was nice and patient - but his boss (the store manager) is a trickster.

At first my seller tried to get me to buy the Honda Civic which had a cheaper lease than the Fit. The seller and I went back and forth as he tried to convince me how much money I would be saving with the Civic. The Fit was what I wanted and I stressed that. And after going in circles with the seller, we finally came to a deal - but I was still uncomfortable with the price. So, before I actually went through all the paperwork, I asked about the Civic.

My seller was happy to go and ask about it with his manager but, when he returned - suddenly the lease shot up to an unbelievable monthly price. Apparently, it would have been $299 a month because of incentives and something else the seller just shot out there to make it sound unworthy. But, how does a car being leased at $169 a month shoot up to $299? It didn't make sense - and my seller couldn't look me in the eye without flinching. He seemed stiff when he gave me the $299 price - and if he wasn't flinching while looking at me, he was avoiding looking at me.

They totally LIED - and PLAYED ME. Because they knew they would get more from me out of the Fit, they lied about the Civic to make it seem costlier. I was so tired at that point of running in circles with dealers and in dire need of a car that I just settled on the Fit. But, honestly, I'll never recommend Honda of Hayward to another person. When I went to get my car cleaned a few days later, everyone acted like they couldn t help me because, really, they didn t feel like taking it down to the car washing service. And after spending a hefty price on the lease, that hesitance to do what they are obligated to do - nearly enraged me.

Honda of Hayward - not honest, rather lazy and they don't *really* give care about customers - they're only out for the money. The manager disgusts me for what he did.

My experience with Honda of Hayward has always been GREAT . Ronald Ron Smith has always helped me from the 1st time I got my car serviced . Anytime something is wrong or it s time for service I call Ron & always make my appointments with him. He is Respectful , Cool , and a HELPFUL person who you can tell genuinely cares about his Job & helping the customers. All 5 stars from me Honda of Hayward . My car window wasn't rolling down so I took it to Honda of Hayward. Preston took really good care of my car. It turned out some wires just needed to be tightened, and Honda didn't charge me because they acknowledged they had fixed my car for the very same problem over a year ago. Plus my car was just slightly over the warranty period. I appreciate not being nickle and dimed.

It would have been 5 star's, we were told one price we accepted that price but we were told to back the next day it was late in the evening. So we come back all excited on cloud 9 about our new purchase only to be told that the deal we THOUGHT we had the previous day was no longer available and the payment was going up . We are happy with our purchase but we didn't like the process.

I was impressed by the professionalism of Mr. Robert Miller. He was very courteous and prompt in his response to my questions and need for service. He made sure the work was done right and promptly. Today it is hard to get this kind of service. I usually do not write reviews of services, but I was very satisfied with the service I received from Honda of Hayward in general, and from Mr. Miller in particular. Thank you very much.

I spent 45 minutes just to have someone upsell me not even help me. Somethings very strange on the way workers operate here. I have credit? But I need to put down some money they do some shady business they don't even have paperwork of when I 1st purchased the car.
And I have a secure job something tells me it's my long hair and beanie attended fairly. I have a newborn. Family friendly my a** stop false advertising to your customers on emails. Trying a different honda foreal. Money cash grab for the sales person

It was at first a good one when the receptionist approach us for what is our appointment for that day. He checked my car and see to it that i will have my car everything in good condition and offered repairs that we need which i don't really need the most.
What the bad thing was, when the car was done and waiting for it after i paid the fees for more than 1 hr. The guy did'nt bother to checked us on the lobby if we got the car already. We were left unattended there waiting for nothing. Then its almost closing hour, a guy already turned off the lights at the waiting area. And so i went outside to check the car and it was not there yet, i asked a guy to checked my car if its done coz i paid already and was told to wait and he got it for me. It was there for a while more than 1 hr and the receptionist didn't do his job. They wasted our time which we can do something else than waiting there. THIS WAS SO DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE AND NEGLIGENCE TO A CUSTOMER LIKE ME.

The only thing that would take one star off was follow up. They were slow to get back to me after I'd already purchased the car and I kept getting transferred to dead voicemail boxes when I was trying to get a question answered .

I would definitely buy a car from them again.

If you want a great sales experience on a Honda, visit Honda of Hayward and ask for Ella Villafuerte. She treated my family with warmth and compassion. This is the exact experience I was hoping for after I was disappointed of the treatment of my family at Dublin Honda the night before.

Ella came out strong with a great first offer on our newly purchased Honda Odyssey Elite and later sweetened the deal. They have the best pricing on this model and trim in the Bay Area. I visited three dealerships, looked at Costco pricing and communicated with a professional buyer provided by TechCU. Honda of Hayward offered me a better deal than I could get at any of these places. They even beat out Costco pricing by a decent sized margin. Thanks, Ella and Honda of Hayward!

Great crew... very efficient and personable. Ron and Jorge were both exceptionally helpful. I continue to patronize this location even though they are nowhere near my neighborhood (more than 15 miles away) due to their responsive nature, willingness to take drop-ins AND still service them in a timely manner. I cannot say that about Honda Automall in Fremont, and that is only two miles away from my home. Thanks Honda of Hayward--I will continue to return!

Hayward Honda was real easy to deal with while we put together a lease for a 2018 Honda Accord LX.

I hate dealing with car dealers, but that opinion changed the moment I met Ana Marie who is listed as their Internet Director, which is funny because for me she was much more.

She has a great sense of humor but after 15 years at Hayward Honda she is on it.

I liked the fact that I came to check out the new Accord on a Monday I think. Anna Marie gave me all the details I needed and I gave her information on me.

Now I will not lie, Anna Marie and her team offered to hook me up thst night and they did apply some soft selling on me, however they did not use high pressure tactics to lease the car that night and once I said I wanted to wait until Friday to complete the lease process the whole team with Anna Marie s direction ended the lowest chill pressure to deal the deal that night. Well that sealed the deal for me. Back I came Friday evening March 30th and as soon as I walked to the show room was Anna Marie big smile on her face to lead me through the leasing process. The lease process was effortless and there were no unexpected bait and switch sales technics. Like I knew when I returned that Anna Marie would take good care of me, I knew that because she just has a kind and trustworthy vibe!

After a test drive that Anna Marie Suggested. I was already sold BTW, we completed the requisite paper work and I paid the lease deposit,, that by the way was the exact amount we had discussed earlier that week

This is my third Accord Lease, I drive for Uber.
I had some initial reservations about the newly designed 2018 model. The new car comes with an engine that has 62.5% displacement than my 2014 and 2017 Accords, the engine is also rated at 191 HP vs the previous years at 181 HP, after my test drive I noted that the car performance has increased via the use of a for me lagless turbo boost.

I have to admit that, Anna Marie s professionalism along with that of her team and the new model 2018 Honda Accord all exceeded my expectations.

I suppose I am in the honeymoon phase with the car right now. But in a word, I Love , my new car. It drives

We first saw the car on AutoTrader, and I sent in an inquiry. Unlike other dealers, Anna Marie called me up and we set up an appointment for later that day. Very happy with the service we received, and we weren't even at the dealership yet. So, we made the drive out to the dealer (we lived an hour away, but really wanted the color scheme of the one we saw). We went inside and met Anna Marie, and she blew us away with her hospitality and charm. She made us feel zero pressure and was willing to let us take the van out on our own for a drive. We liked being able to do so, since we could try it out without feeling like we are being watched, and we could discuss among the family how we feel about the van. We got back to the dealership and sat with Anna Marie who went through the details of purchasing. She was patient with us since we were first time buyers, and she reviewed everything with us. In the end, she worked with us and figured out a purchase plan that met our needs and fell within our means. After meeting with KC and finishing up the paperwork, we left with the van! Such a smooth experience!

If I could rate them -5 stars I would. Every experience here was awful. From the girl at the front desk saying how lucky I was to have my car stolen. To having my car take several days longer, only to find that most of the work was not done. When I picked my car up, I was ignored by 2 customer service reps. The billing was messed up by them and not properly billed to my insurance.Worst customer experience ever. Would never take my car back.

We indeed appreciate to Mr. Brian Kim (affordable price and very nice service), Jeremy (Kind and professional explanations for the every details of the car we tested), and Alexei (Comfort and clear financial and paper work). It was great experience for us. We were trying to find affordable price for the Honda CR-V EX-L AWD in the vicinity of Bay Area. Among them, they provided very good deal compare to other dealer shop and a lot of kindness which allows us to feel comfortable environment at Hayward of Honda. It was very clear and easy process. If there is anyone who want to buy a new car, I strongly recommend this shop.

I was very pleased with the service that I received from Honda of Hayward.
I use to take my vehicle exclusively over to the Acura Dealership (Stevens Creek, Fremont) because that is "where" it was purchased.
But, one day a member of my church suggested that I give Honda of Hayward a try. I'm elated that I did!
The staff is friendly & quite professional. They offer "fair" pricing for their diagnostics, parts & labor.
In my opinion, Honda of Hayward have some of the BEST auto mechanics/engineers & staff in the East Bay area. I have become a "loyal" customer and respect them for having integrity & EXCELLENT work ethnics. -A. & T. Carey. (NORCAL)

I was having a starter problem with my 2013 Honda Accord.It was hit and miss on if the car would start. It finally died so had the car towed to Honda of Hayward. The started had to be replaced and work was completed that day. Also, I had purchased the Honda Car Extended Warranty. Better safe than sorry and so glad I did. The starter with parts and labor would have cost almost as much as what I paid for the warranty. So no charge to replace the starter. So happy. They did a really good and quick job.

Lost my oil pan drain plug. They they wanted to charge me for it. Next time I came in for an oil change they said the wrong plug was used for the oil pan and they would need to replace the entire oil pan - at a cost of over $1000 because they can't keep track of a drain plug or properly install one. Never coming here again.

Very disappointed in the service I received on 9/9/19. When I arrived I parked my car in the service center and stopped at the stop sign.. walked in to check in for my 2pm appointment. And right off the bat Gerardo had mentioned oh okay do you have the keys, I asked about how long the service will take. He said we re very busy and we re not even taking anymore appointments. I wasn t sure why he was even telling me this information because I already had my appointment. I was coming in for an oil change. Which shouldn t take longer than an hour. When I again asked him how long the whole process would take due to them being very busy .. he proceeded to tell me oh I ll check. I asked about the service shuttle because I m pregnant and expected to be dropped off and picked up at home. Gerardo had then mentioned we aren t doing the shuttle service due to how busy it is. Well that would have been nice to know before arrival. I might have even rescheduled the appointment. I checked in at 2:01pm and didn t leave there until 4:16pm. I had no way of getting around because this is my only vehicle. I was stuck there without food. I checked in with multiple people who gave me all very short answers at least 3 times while I was waiting. I was just shocked that everyone who works here is very uptight and short worded like I know what they re processes and time frames are. I m sorry that I literally just wanted a time frame to see if I could maybe walk somewhere and get food or something. However after I already waited an hour a woman there says oh it should only be about 30 more minutes. So I wanted and ended up waiting for damn near another hour. Very frustrating. If all of this was told me ahead of time I wouldn t have been so irritated. That s the last time I will take my car here to get serviced. Honestly. I will also tell all my friends and family that the customer service here is horrible.

This was my first time taking my Honda in to get serviced since I bought and I had an AMAZING experience. Ron and Preston took great care of my service. There were a very obstacles in the process and Ron and the team went above and beyond to make sure the work was completed. The Honda team customer service was great and the turn around was swift. Went in yesterday to buy a 2019 Honda CRV EX-L and left with a brand new car and left with a good smile on my face. Kenneth was my sales representative, he was amazing from the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out. He was very kind, super helpful and answered all queries patiently . Also the finance team was super quick with their paperwork. I will definitely recommend this dealership incase if some one is looking for the good/best deals.
