this is my third car purchase at Honda of Hayward and I couldn't ask for a better team!! from anna marie to the finance people. they are all so great and made the process super easy. they make me feel like family there. I recommend Honda of Hayward to anyone in the market for a car.

This was my first visit to Honda of Hayward, I brought my Pilot in for an oil change. Oscar was super helpful, and explained to me everything that was going on with my car, and clarified for me again at the end all the questions he had already answered that I didn't understand! I realized right after I dropped off my car that it was lunch time, so it would likely take a while longer, for which Oscar was very apologetic, but that's to be expected if you show up during lunch breaks! The waiting area was very clean with charging stations, lots of seating choices, coffee and tea, and TV. Everyone was very friendly. A great experience overall!

Best place to buy a Honda, period.

After a long search, walking out of many other Honda dealerships after being fed up with the lies and the sleazy tactics I didn t think that I'd find a reputable place to buy a car where I didn't feel like I was being bent over.

Then I found Hayward Honda... Ken, Cesar, Mike and Shawn, gave me a 100% transparent, pleasant, and professional experience; the complete opposite of what I experienced everywhere else. I was in and out in less than 3 hours with my new Civic and at a great price - it was quick because there was no BS, no games, signed for the number we originally agreed on and no surprises with the out the door price - just honest business! By far the most honest and professional dealership in the Bay Area, and trust me, I visited quite a few on my search. Cesar the sales rep was a pleasure to work with.

Took my car in to be serviced recently (had it towed there), car was dirty going in (2016 Civic Touring, Agean Blue).

Friendly service staff decided to "clean" it but probably dry-wiped it or used bad towel resulting in a lot of fine scratches.

EXCELLENT!!!!!! Annamarie is a woman of her word! period! Started out by looking on line back in April of this year informed her of my situation and guess what she said????! no worries call me when you are ready and I'll stay in touch. That she did she hit me with a simple yet to the point email. "are still interested?". I replied yes will you be in sunday? Yep. cool. Got me a 2015 jetta. On point!!! whole team was on point! including Mike Frega himself. But didn't need Annamarie and her squad knocked it out the park!! thanks for everthing!!!!! Peace and God bless

Alicia Bradshaw did an excellent job on welcoming me and breaking the oil service for my car. It was the usual Saturday morning car service rush, so I knew the service was going to take a few hours, Donna, the complimentary shuttle driver, dropped me off to the golf course a few miles away-a perfect time occupier as I wait for my vehicle. Heading back to the service shop, I waited a few minutes to get my car because they were washing it. I wasn't expecting this, so I appreciate the extra service. Overall, great experice at the Honda of Hayward!

Making an appointment online really did help speed up the process. Went in at 8AM and waiting roughly 2hrs? I did not mind the wait because I was studying for classes, so it was a good use of my time. My advisor, Preston Williams, was very prompt and courteous. Much appreciated. In the past I would do oil changes myself, but now that I am driving a "newer" car I would rather not mess with anything just in case.

I got my 2013 Honda Odyssey 30k servicing done here. Along with 30k servicing I had them align wheels and flush brake fluid paid around 800. Very next day after servicing, steering wheel starts to vibrate when I brake. I took it back for checking and initially they claimed that they couldn't feel the vibration. When I insisted that it is very obvious, they do another test and able to feel the vibration. Their recommendation is replace the rotors and i refused. In their assessment, they don't even mention that they can feel the vibration all it says is, they couldn't see the behavior that I notice. When they did the 30k servicing there was no recommendation whatsoever about rotors. Usually i take my car to AutoNation Fremont and for a change I decided to go here. I learned my lesson going here

My car was rear ended recently and got it fixed. I am not sure what the body shop did, but when I got the car back I don't feel the wheel vibration anymore. When I look at the invoice, rotor replacement is certainly not one of the items that body shop did as it was recommended by these guys.

Worst possible outcome! Now having that said, my expectations weren't very high as it is a Honda dealership and not BMW. But still... picking up the phone shouldn't be brain surgery.

Had my car serviced, decided to call since no one had call to say it was ready and closing time was coming up soon. I called for 30 mins with no answer, over and over again. The receptionist, service, parts, no one. So I decided the sales dept, they picked up, put me on hold and no one ever came back.

So I decided to just go down there. As I walked in, the place is a ghost town, no one there. Then as I started talking to the them, I was given all the excuses, including "we're busy", really?! Not a single person is here.

Ok, so I go to leave and got into my car. Checked the computer and it said oil life 30%, funny, I just changed the oil. So I check the paperwork and the tech wrote "reset all computers". Ah.... no you didn't.

So I went back into the store and this time, I was greeted by the service mgr. Perfect, I need some help and I wanted him to know my experience wasn't great, maybe he would care. NO HE DOESN'T! He said "maybe the phone lines are down?" Really?!... then how did sales dept pick up and leave me on hold? I told him about the oil computer not being reset. He said "Oh, maybe they just missed it", so I asked "what else did they miss?" No answer. He took my car to the tech, who just pushes a few buttons to reset, the mgr rudely walks away, never saying anything else to me and the tech drives my car out and hands me the keys. "Oh, sorry, we had someone call in sick." I guess excuses is all they're good at. Go figure!

Made an appointment to get my oil changed for my 2014 Honda Civic sedan and Preston was so sweet and kind explaining things to me and getting my paperwork done (he didn't make me feel stupid for asking a question as well, cause I know nothing about cars). All in all, Preston and his team did a great job and a big thanks to him for making me feel at ease because I was supremely uncomfortable and anxious to be heading into a car dealership/service.

This dealership sold a car to my wife and I that was involved in an accident and did not let us know. One of the sales managers, Bernard, was extremely rude to us telling us "good luck finding a lawyer" and then hanging up on us. In addition to being involved in an accident, the car also had multiple other problems including a weird smell that we could not get rid of, a marble rolling around in the air ducts, and one of the rear doors would not lock. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP, THEY ARE SUPER SHADY AND WILL RIP YOU OFF AND SELL CARS THAT WERE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT WITHOUT LETTING YOU KNOW!

Working with Ashveen at Honda of Hayward was a very enjoyable experience. He is very professional and made everything so easy by helping us from test drive to closing the deal. No pushy sales pitch and we got a great deal on my new Accord Sport 2017. He is extremely knowledgeable with Honda vehicles and took time to show every feature that my new Accord Sport 2017 has. Shawn is an amazing person to work with. His genuine concern for the the satisfaction of his customers goes well beyond what I have experienced from the service industry in general. He is always more than willing to answer any and all of my questions and speaks to me in a way that isn't patronizing. He always has a cheerful and upbeat demeanor (even at 7am on a Saturday!). If I could rate him a 5 star alone I would!

The only reason I dropped this rating to a 3 star was from the fact that on my last service I went in for new tires, oil change and new filters, I ended up being there for just shy of 6 hours! I got there at 9am (my appointment was at 9:15am) and didn't walk out of the building until 2:56pm. The technicians couldn't seem to give me or Shawn a window on how long it would be before my car was completed. I understand that there was an additional bit of work that needed to be done that wasn't caught until the time of service but being there for 6 HOURS with no real estimate on when the work would be complete isn't acceptable to say the least.

I have been a customer since 2013 (when I bought my Honda) and prior to this I had NEVER had to wait for more than 2 hours for any services I had done. To say I am sorely disappointed is an understatement.

If it wasn't for Shawn's continued excellence in customer service, I wouldn't hesitate to find somewhere else to get my car serviced at.

Shawn was kind and did not assume I didn't know what he was talking about when he spoke about Honda maintenance. I went in to get my leaky rear shocks replaced and brake fluid replaced. They also did a wheel alignment. The Honda shocks were not in stock. The service adviser ordered shocks that are made in the US. I'm hoping they will last as long as the Honda shocks would.

We had good experiences with Hayward Honda. The sales there, Anna Marie was knowledgeable, funny, patient, understanding and helpful. What she wasn't was pushy. Manager Johnny was open and straight forward too. We ended up giving no commitment on our first visit, after an appointment with Anna Marie and taking her a good 3 hours of her time. We felt comfortable with her and Johnny. On our second visit we bought a CR-V. Third visit was pickup. They had a sales consultant, KC, give a complete run on the features inside out. KC was also knowledgeable, friendly, patient and helpful. And for what it was, he was not at any rate trying to sell us their service department. He was really just proud what they were selling, and trying to get us know what we were to drive home. We also noticed that people working in there seem to get along very well. Their sale waiting at the door will help you whether or not you are thinking potential customer. Their first question was often, are you here to see someone (then will get you that someone), rather than are you here to see some cars. Sutle difference, tells a lot though. While one guy knew we are with Anna Marie, he kindly took time answered all the questions we had in a HRV model he was having. Seems a good place to with many good people.

Honest and Quality service. They will thoroughly inspect your vehicle and suggest only required service and not try to rip you off. Went to Fremont Honda, Southbay Honda Milpitas and Precision auto care at Sunnyvale(Wolfe road) and they all tried to cheat by giving 4k+ estimate for tires and 90k mile service but here same thing I got it done below 2k as with their expertise they knew what was required and didn't went by books. I highly recommend this place.

Buying a car during covid time can be scary but I am glad we met Anna Marie from Honda of Hayward. From sending in an email of request on pricing to bargaining on pricing, we didn't feel pressure to purchase. Her candid, no BS straightforward approach is what other sales in other dealership should learn. We have shopped at other Honda dealership around the area and felt like we are the innocent in a shark tank, but not at Honda of Hayward. Not to mention, They have the cheapest Honda in the whole bay area. PERIOD.

Bought car On Monday the 24th, found on way home that windshield had a crack. They had me come the next day to see the manager, Bernard. He had me come back the following day to see the windshield repair guy, who said it could not be fixed any better than it was (crack is right in drivers side view out the front). I was told they would contact me back about replacing, and no one called. I left message via text for Steven on Friday who said he would follow up on it. Received a call from Honda on Sunday to see how things were going (let them know I was still waiting to hear about windshield, and they said they would follow up). It is now March 2nd and I still have not heard back regarding windshield. Am very unhappy with Honda

I had a great experience at Honda of Hayward. Isaac and Robert were especially helpful during my whole process of deciding to lease a car. They were patient with me and definitely made me feel comfortable with all of my decisions. I didn t feel pressured to do anything I didn t want to do!
