Just bought a Honda Odyssey and couldn t be more impressed with the process. The team really took care of all my questions and was able to handle my paperwork very smoothly. I didn t feel the sales person pressure at all at Honda of Hayward. Definitely will come back.

My bf and I called in asking about a Honda we were interested in. We let them know what our budget was and that we weren't planning on going over. Since we were driving 3 hours to get there (granted it was on the way since we were on our way to look at another car in San Leandros that we were also interested in) we asked them if they were wiling to work with us and they said "sure just come in!" So we go in and discovered that the Honda had a huge dent on the side but wasn't on the carfax or on the pictures online that were posted by the dealer. Obviously, that was a major concern and turned us away from getting the car because who wants to buy a wrecked car right? Anyway, we asked about the dent and they said they were getting that fixed free of charge. So that somewhat made us reconsider. So after we started to negotiate a price, they started playing their practical sales games with us. They used every sales tactic possible to try to get us to go over our budget when we made it clear we weren't planning on going over. It was a total waste of our time. So after they didn't want to budge and give us the price we asked for we told them we wanted to look at the other car so we can make a better decision. The manager then went on to tell us that if we left, he wouldn't give us that price. Basically bullying us into buying the wrecked car. I then asked him if they were still fixing the dent and he said "Oh if we sell you the car for that price, we are not fixing the dent". Totally unprofessional and not to mention rude. After he said that, we left. We ended up buying the other car in San Leandros that we were originally planning on looking at which happened to be the exact same car. But we got it for the price we asked for and DENT FREE! Hassle Free! To conclude, Honda Hayward has terrible customer service (especially from "management"), aggressive sales tactics, unprofessionalism, don't waste your time. These people care more about their commission more than providing customer needs.

Horrible Sale's department. I bought a brand new Honda Civic LX-P at Honda of Hayward over a week. The brake light cover at rear window was half fell off since day one. I thought it's a bad design. It blocked my view and red light flooded all over rear window. I realized it's a defect until tinted window shop told me. I then drove to the Honda of Hayward and addressed the issue. They just pointed me to the service. I drove there and they said I needed to make an appointment. It's one of recalls for this model. I drove back home and called America Honda. They conformed that it's one of the recalls and the dealer should fix or notify the customer before sell it. At this point, I am so pissed off. I wouldn't buy this car if I knew it at first place. I buy a new car because to avoid any headache. I called Honda of Hayward sale's department. The woman answered the phone and I haven't finished my issue. She just forwarded me to the service department. I called back again to ask to talk to their manger. She then told me that they were in the meeting and couldn't answer my phone. We as a customer could return the common good if it's defect. Honda of Hayward is not honest to sell a defect car and failed to notify the customer. The worst of all they have zero care and effort to correct their failure, not even an apology. I will continue to report their bad business practice until my issue is seriously treated. They waste my time and money. I regret to buy a car from this dealer and will not recommend to any of my family and friends to buy cars from them.

If you are looking for a car please go to the Honda Of Hayward and ask for AnnaMarie she s the best. Today was my 4TH car I got from her and I m very satisfied.. Thank you again AnnaMarie

Went in for the airbag recall. Took 3 hours. You do have to wait a few minutes to get checked in when you first arrive. Service was very friendly, large waiting area and some free food and drink available. If you choose to wait somewhere else they have a free shuttle service and they call when your car is ready. Would recommend.

Unfortunately, my first time going to a dealer to attempt to purchase a new car would be TERRIBLE and I would like to thank Honda of Hayward for that.

I was browsing online and found a 2015 Honda Civic EX that I really liked located at Honda of Hayward. I drove out to see it for myself and to test ride it. When I arrived I met Ella who was sweet at first. She let me test drive it and afterwords pressured me to start filling out paperwork. I did like the car a lot but I wanted a second pair of eyes to be there with me through the process. I informed her I would come back the next day if the car was still available. She informed the general sales manager named Farooq about this to which he proceeded to come out of the office and tried to pressure me into just starting the process! I stood my ground and he informed me there would be a chance someone else would buy it. Which I was completely okay with and understood the risk. We made an appointment for 9am the next day, which is the time Honda of Hayward opens.

Fast forward the next morning at 8:00 am, I called Ella and asked her if the car was still available to which she told me a firm "yes." I drove out to Hayward of Honda myself and my girlfriend's family drove in their own separate car. When I had arrived they informed me the car was already sold. To clarify I was not upset that the car was sold but infuriated that I was lied too. Not only was I lied too but I and my girlfriends father drove 30-40 minutes from San Jose for nothing. We not only wasted time but gas and money just to be told the car was not actually there when Ella informed me earlier that it was not sold.

All they could offer me was to "look around for a different car," and "We'll give you a good price" Obviously I was looking for a specific car and they just tried to push me off onto a different car that I did not want. To top things off, the sales manager Farooq just came outside to basically tell me "I told you someone would buy it" Which angered me even more. I was not upset over the fact the car was sold but that I was lied to in regards to the car being still available. Farooq said it was not his fault even though it is his employees who lied to me. All he said was "I'll talk to them"

I do not recommend this place for anyone. They try to haggle you, pressure you into buying a car and just starting the paperwork process. The general sales manager Farooq is unprofessional, uncaring, and unwilling to help. DO NOT COME HERE. Worst first experience at a dealership.

Overall very pleased with service. I just have two complaints. Everytime I go it always takes a long time to get finally checked in, over 20 minutes. If you add that time to the time it took to get the work completed, it was almost 2 hours for an oil change.

There was no wait for the start of my appointment and the car was finished in the time that Ron said it would be. I am so thankful for this place! Mike Fraga told me he would get me in the car I wanted and he did just that!! Mike and his assistant were both so nice and helpful! I just took my car today so they can detail a couple of the scratches that were on the back bumper when I purchased it as they promised they would fix it,and they did just that! The man that took care of me today was very nice and called me right when it was done! I suggest everyone to go here ! It is hassle free and no annoying sales people! Thank you guys for everything!

Had a tire blow out on my 2017 Touring Accord on the 23rd I thanks to the potholes on Telegraph Ave Oakland . Made my appointment online to bring my car in at 10:00 am Dec26th. Got there right at 10:00 am about 4 cars before me, within 10 minutes ( pretty good for the day after Christmas) or so nice young man came to my car very polite and asked me if I was there before the Pilot that had pulled behind me then quickly pulled to the lane to my right and was before me. He must have seen , I said yes and placed the #2 sign on my car. Not to long after that my adviser Robert Miller came asked me about what I was there for inspected the car, gave me an estimate, fixed my online registration info and said he would call as soon as the car was done but did say they were busy but would get it done as timely as possible. He was polite, efficient , personable and professional as was every other person that I had any interaction with at Hayward Honda. They called me about 2:30 pm car was ready. Robert Miller 5 stars and to Hayward Honda as well for the great service experience with this visit and the two prior quite different from my experience with Fremont Honda and Fremont BMW when I had one. Will recommend Honda of Hayward to all and will be taking all my service needs there

As soon as I get there they jump over my credit score the told me to wait first they have to check my credit score. I was there to see what options they have how is the pricing of their car. After Checking my credit the sales man come towards me and said if I show you good car are gonna buy now. I m budget was around $12000 and they have cars that are around $15000. At one moment I ask the sales man how much is that car he replied - why are you looking at those do you think that will fit in your budget . And in the end when I was leaving the sales man told me now you know your level. It was the worst customer service ever... may be only because I was only 22 and I did not have ton of money.

my mother recommended me to come see Mr.Mike Frega to purchase something more fuel efficient (I was spending $100 a week in fuel). He wasted no time running my credit and letting me know where I was at and what I could look at. His assistant Davy walked me outside and showed me every vehicle in my price bracket and grabbed me each set of keys that I wanted to test drive. As he began putting offers to the bank I found a hidden gem hiding in the back (2011 Honda Accord with 45k Miles) they allowed me to test drive and ran numbers immediately! now my only complaint is the s ait time for finance (7 hours!!) but we were checked up on frequently. Nick in finance made the wait completely worth it!! he was very friendly, apologetic, personable and understanding! he saw the irritation and frustration of us having to wait but that all went away as we talked business and personal matters. he explained things clearly, no confusion on a few items that were not clearly explained to me prior to talking to him. he gave us a lot of tips and reccomendations. I truly appreciate the hard work Nick has done for me, he was so backed up due to them being shorted staffed but he did everything he could to make us comfortable. I highly recommend seeing all there employees at Honda of Hayward; Mike Frega, his assistant Davy and Finance Manager Nick.

Not even a week after purchasing my vehicle I get a call from Mike Frega asking me to come in ASAP to redo some paper work because they had to lower the price of my car, therefore my monthly payments would be decreasing as well! Happy couldn't even begin to describe how I was feeling to receive that news :)

Mike and Jordan are BOTH a bunch of BULLSHIT! They are LIARS, the will NEVER tell you all of the truth! And their Managers are Liars, and DO NOT value their customers once you sign that contract. I bought a 06 Nissan Murano and the day I drove off the lot the check engine light came on. I returned and was told that the gas cap was the reason lie #1. I returned 3 days later was told I needed a Oil changed LIE # 2. Long story short I had returned to the Honda of Hayward service center 5 times and they finally agreed that the car needed a transmission. I had to go to San Leandro Nissan to car my car repaired. Upon picking up my car I had only owned for 3 weeks I was given a list of things wrong with my 3week old car! I have since contacted the Manager from Honda of Hayward with NO help! So I am in the process of contacting the Consumers Affairs for the State of California, to see if this car qualifies under the lemon law. MY ADVICE DO NOT BUY A CAR FORM HONDA OF HAYWARD, and if you see Mike Fraga or Jordan RUN.

A Honda of Hayward employee picked up my '06 Accord at my home in a nearby city for no-contact service on Monday. They performed extensive work on the car, which has never had any major repairs over the ensuing years, and brought the car back to my home on Wednesday, after fully sanitizing it. The key and documents had been sanitized before I removed them from the bags in which they were returned. The Honda personnel who came to my home were masked and gloved, and maintained a 6-foot distance. As usual, I am completely satisfied with their service.

Honda of Hayward consistently delivers a great service experience. My 2013 CRZ recently underwent a fairly significant warranty manual transmission repair and the service advisors and technician kept me well informed and up to date on the progress throughout. The repair was done in a timely fashion and the car drives as though it was brand new. Can't say enough good things about Ron and Shaun, the service advisors, and Jerry Lam, a consummately professional technician. Though I live more than 20 miles away and have other Honda service options nearer my home, I intend to continue bringing my car to Honda of Hayward for maintenance in the future.

I want to thank everyone at Honda Hayward for the wonderful treatment I received while shopping for a new vehicle. Just recently we stopped by to look at a 2017 Pilot elite and were welcomed in the lot by Harith (Ali) Abbas. He showed us the Pilot and answered all of our questions, even when my questions were somewhat puzzling he answered then quite promptly and in great detail, Ali is a wonderful person with a fantastic personality and knows his job well.

I enjoyed the experience even further when I got the chance to interact with professionals like Steve Lee and your Finance Manager Alexis Niu, Ali put us in touch with Steve and he and Ali did what it took to get the vehicle purchased from your dealership. Steve s role was vital to keep me in the game and in getting me to commit that very evening, thanks so much. Alexis was over the top, she got me in and out of finance faster and more satisfied than I was in any other vehicle purchase I have made to date, she explained everything thoroughly and kept me from rethinking the whole transaction (I always have second thoughts at this point in the transactions). Before I was finished she sent me on my way with an extended warranty to boot.

You have assembled many great individuals at your dealership with fantastic personalities, in my opinion this is the key to success and it is also very effective in establishing great customer loyalty. I thank all those involved in getting my wife the vehicle of her choice, it s the perfect color combination and she loves it even more today. We are very happy customers and will be back, it is these type of experiences that make lasting relationships, thank you all so much.

I was hesitant to make an appointment and took a chance at bringing my car in Friday morning.
On my way to the service center, I checked my HondaLink app and noticed that they were fully booked for the day, but still took the chance anyways.
I was approved by a gentleman, didn't catch his name, but he was Filipino, he was nice and always helpful. Then shortly after, George (advisor) came up and assisted me. He was very pleasant and accommodating and was nice enough to squeeze me in and informed me that it will take a couple of hours. I told him that I will need a shuttle to my home and tried to contact their courtesy shuttle but had left already. So he had set-up a Lyft ride for me to and from my home.
Again, this was not my 1st time getting my car serviced at this location, but I do want to REITERATE that the customer service that George and the other gentleman that had assisted me last Friday, was EXCELLENT!!

I recently had my car serviced at Honda of Hayward as it approached 20k miles. As always, I am completely satisfied with my visit. My service advisor was Preston Williams. I appreciate the time that he took to talk to me and explain the overall "health" of car. I wouldn't go anywhere else - the peace of mind and friendly, knowledgeable staff is worth every visit.

The guy George was very friendly and did try to help . t noon I asked what was the deal on my car come to find out they didn't even start on. George went back to them and then came back to me and said they working on it now and said he passed the info to someone else cuz he was going to lunch.

My service advisor usually is Preston. I like him he's very caring and does everything to help. I went to the front again again cuz again. O word on my car. This time Preston heard and came to my aide. Asked me what happened and he was also shocked
ThAt they didn't start my car by this time is already 2:30. 2:45 I get my car. But no free service check was done , wash , nothing. They were apologetic and I didn't pay for the oil
Change. Don't know what the disconnect was in the communication piece but I wasn't happy.

I have had wonderful experiences here. This is my second car that I ve purchased from Honda of Hayward and the service is impeccable. Mike fraga and his assistant are wonderful. He treats me like family everytime I see him. It was pretty late when I finally got to drive off but everyone involved in the process were very professional, not to mention they have iPads that make the signing more easier and FASTER. I will always purchase my vehicles from Mike Fraga and Honda of Hayward their integrity means everything to me. And they gave me a bouquet of flowers, take not Paul Blanco, that s how you treat your customers.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I had scheduled a 9:30 appointment and for one reason or another it was not confirmed. I received a call from Honda of Hayward, and they were able to squeeze me in at 10:15 for an oil change. Once I mentioned the type of car they informed me that a part was recalled, and ordered it on my behalf which was great. I was helped by man named George Lopez whose service was great, and even gave me a courtesy car wash to apologize for the wait time. Their staff is amazing!
