He has done commendable job which gave me 100 percent customer satisfaction. His dedication and work ethics is appreciatable. Great job Albert Ricardez and keep up the good work. Toyota Sunnyvale needs many more sales associate like you as you are a great example for others.

This is the worst ever Showroom I have experienced...

This is the worst ever Showroom I have experienced. What they commit about service they do not stick on that and do not cooperate after sell.
100% unsatisfy with their service and it is literally very very painful.
This is what happen when you buy a used car from such kind of dealer. If you encounter any issue within 7 days after buying the and you visit the showroom they will ask to sign a document where it is clearly mentioned that "Toyota Sunnyvale - buy the used car and sell it without doing anything or services". Means they sell the used cars without even basic maintenance and service. They just wash it and put it for sell.
More important is when you bur powertrain warranty from them that is also third party warranty not specific from toyota Sunnyvale. Then why we buy the used car from Toyota ? We can buy the car from individual and can buy separate powertrain warranty from anyone from market which is better.

My husband and I were on the lookout for a certified used car. I had my heart set on a Rav4, and one just happened to pop up on the Sunnyvale Toyota website that was absolutely perfect! I called on the morning I was ready to buy (I live about 120 miles away) to negotiate a deal over the phone before driving in to make the kill. I spoke with Socrates, a friendly and energetic sales representative who was able to answer my questions and work with my budget. A little while later, we made a deal and my hubby and I drove out to make it official. Socrates was there to greet us with a smile and let us drive the car! After the test drive, he sent us over to Fernando in the finance department. Fernando took great care to go over all of our paperwork and options for warranties. These gentlemen were wonderful and we couldn't be happier with our experience! Thanks Socrates and Fernando!!! :)

Elmer is very authentic, not there to lie to you, super nice, and helped me in everything that I needed!

I did the main contact through text message stating that I was interested but stuck between their car and another car. I was eyeing this car since the beginning of December but it was more of a dream car because it was out of my price range. A month later it dropped $1,000. They told me to come in and bring a print out of the other car to compare, and that I didn't have to worry about the price because I didn't know their final price yet. The day I drove there I went on their website to see the car, and it dropped almost $2,000 from the updated price. I thought I was going to have to bargain with them but I didn't. I had an appointment with Mohammed Naziry initially because I was texting him, but he was helping other customers because I came a bit early. My partner and I ended up browsing at the used cars and just killing time and then Elmer came to the rescue! He said he was going to help us test drive it and then let Mohammed take care of the rest. In the car, it was a nice small talk conversation (about holiday vacations and the weather) and it felt very natural to talk to him. After the test drive, he let us look at the car's configurations and answered any questions we had. After that, I met Mohammed but it seemed foreign for him to greet a female, or maybe he assumed that my partner was purchasing the car. Nonetheless, I just didn't have good energy around him...but I also have a negative bias toward males who are toxically masculine (so there is that!). I am unsure who told us to sit down, whether it be Mohammed or Elmer, but we sat in what I am assuming to be Elmer's desk and waited. As we waited, Mohammed sat down with an older couple and did not say anything to us signifying that Elmer was going to help us. This made things a bit confusing but I was still happy that we had Elmer! So we sat there for about 30 min talking about the price details and Elmer kept going back and forth with his manager/finance people (I'm assuming). I signed a contract and then we just waited for about an hour for the paperwork it seemed, and Elmer was cleaning and putting gas to my new baby :D
Bart did not want to give me a copy of the sales contract, but when I left his office I asked Elmer to give me a copy of the initial contract I signed with him, and instead he gave me the sales contract. So I don't know what was Bart's deal... When I came in with a check Amir helped me with it, and I was in his office for less than 10 minutes since all the paper work was done.

So yeup, I was there at 2:30 pm till around 5:30 pm and I came back the next day with a check and with my dream car!

I had a very pleasant experience with Toyota Sunnyvale. Peter explained everything of what was going on and he was very up front about everything. From what was needed to be done on the car to the 5,000 mile service maintenance and setting up a 6 month service check. What more can I ask for. I feel that I got trained in very valuable and great knowledge about what to look for on the road (pot holes, bumps, cracks and other hazardous stuff that can affect the performance of your car) for taking preventive measures to ensure that the car will outlast its own life.
A coworker of mine was asking me about my car since she was deciding on what car to get. I told her everything about how the Prius saves you gas, how it runs and the works. A couple of days later, she bought a Prius!

The experience of buying my first new car was simply superb. I had visited 6 more dealerships before coming to this one, 2 of them were Toyota; yet none of them made me feel compelled to come back for a second conversation. Jamie, the Toyota sales representative we worked with, made us feel that Toyota Sunnyvale is not just a dealership, its 'my' dealership. Jamie understands that its not just about selling a car, its about selling the experience. The best part about her salesmanship was that I felt the car was already mine, I just had to do some paperwork and drive off with it.
The dealership itself has a huge collection of cars; 3 parking lot full. Their prices were very competitive and the overall ambiance was positive and very inviting.
Bottom line, I am proud to say that Toyota Sunnyvale is 'my' dealership and I would like to invite all you looking to buy a car to try them out.

We were buying a certified second hand car, she made sure we had log books, arranged for the second key to be cut etc. Explanations about the numerous forms to be signed were clear. Having an insurance broker on the spot was helpful

I bought my vehicle back on 8/28/18 I was initially happy with the service, I even gave a good review. I purchased a used Nissan from this dealership. On 12/14/18, I took my car to a Nissan dealership because of a popping noise I heard from the rear driver's side only to find out, I needed two new tires on the rear plus alignment, zero brake fluid, my battery was corroded and a few other items listed. I was quoted over $1000 of work due to wear and tear, other than the popping noise I originally went in for due to it was covered by warranty, the sway bar was broke. I would think the service department would do a simple check and add fluids, oil changes etc at the least before they sell a vehicle. Now I'm paying for wear and tear that I haven't caused, I haven't had the vehicle a full 4 months. Very disappointed with this dealership, I could have gone to a mom & pop dealership for this type of service.

I've recently bought a 2005 E320 Mercedes Benz from this dealer. From all the dealers in the Bay Area that I've been at ( and I've visited the majority of them in the San Jose area ), Toyota Sunnyvale is the only one I feel comfortable going back to buy a used car from.

They are really supportive: with my car I wanted to go to tripleA to run a sanity check; they came with me; after a couple of days, due to a noise that I didn't know whether it's normal or not I have called them to see if they would take the car back in case I don't want it anymore. They re-assured me that they would, and they have even extended the period so that I have enough time to go and test the car at a Mercedes dealer. I find this amazing; they have willingly accepted to take the car back, knowing that it may have a big problem. How many dealers are faithful to this promise ? And not only that, they offered their support in taking the car themselves to a good service and see if it has any issues.

In the end it turned out the car was perfectly fine, and it was a false alarm;

Based on the experience with Toyota Sunnyvale I'm going to buy my other car with them too; the price is good, the personnel is out-standing; I fell very comfortable making business with them and I can definitely recommend them.

After 20 minutes and passing by a handful of sales personnel (just talking to each other) finally I said something. After my visit they called themselves trying to reach out to me to get my business. They didnt even get the correct vehicle information on the email. That made me feel like they didnt even care about my wants or needs. I have purchase 3 Toyota in the past. Stay away from this Dealership. Diana Munoz acted nice and led me to believe I was getting a car but ended up selling it to someone else while leading me on. This type of behavior from a highly respected Toyota dealership, is unexpected and unprofessional. I was extremely unhappy with the way Diana told me I got the car and then didn't call or respond back to me after two days. I hope the owner talks to her to make sure she doesn't do that to another one of their customers. This is my second time purchasing a new car from this dealership. They are the only dealership to offer a 10 point value guarantee to give me peace of mind. I know that after purchasing a car, I have the option to return or exchange it within a time frame if I m not satisfied. Charles, the salesperson I had, was very friendly and nice. He was very patient in showing me all the features of the car. He showed me how to download the Entune app and explain the different tech features the car has. He also took time to answer my questions and stayed in touch after the purchase.

Just had our car fixed at this service center, and was threatened by the services adviser. Her name is Maria A Castillo.

Here is the incident:

Hubby first brought in our car the weekend before last, to repair the bottom castcate(typo) which was broken. Maria asked him to come in again a week later, as they didn't have the parts, and had to place an order for it.

So last Saturday, hubby drove in our car at 9 am. After 1 hour's waiting, Maria
told him the wrong part had been ordered, and she had to get the part from another shop. First of all, how could she order the wrong part?

Then after another 2 hours waiting, hubby noticed there were no other customers waiting and no other cars parking at the entrance. He then asked Maria if our car had been worked on. She said they will need another 20 minutes.

However, after another 45 minutes, still nobody was taking care of this. So hubby walked to Maria again and asked her to check up on our car to see if it has been worked on. Maria said she was working on it and told him that he should be waiting in the waiting room. Hubby was already quite upset then and refused to go back to waiting room. Then he saw someone slowly driving our car from the parking area to the service spot, meaning nobody had even started work on it yet. That was 2 hour and 45 minutes after Maria told hubby that she needed to get the parts.

Hubby was very much frustrated and complained to Maria about her not paying attention to our car. There were very few other customers, not to mention he came in first. She didn't feel sorry and was very rude indeed in response. Her exact words were 'If you don't like the service, you can go somewhere else'

Hubby was so angry when back home that he further filed an complaint with the customer service director responsible for the shop. However, we only got a "sorry, I apology" type of email, saying that he will further look into the case, while we have heard no follow-up to date.

This was such a horrible experience that we would never like to go back to this place!

I initially went into the showroom to look for used cars, but the offer for a new Corolla LE was so good that I instantly changed my mind to get a new car. I visited the showroom thrice to decide on the color, accessories etc. All three times Damien was extremely friendly and courteous. One time when he was not available as he was helping another customer, he still made sure me and my friend got another person (Ben) to answer our questions and provide us with the Quotes. After visiting couple other dealerships who were willing to offer the same price - I still wanted to buy the car only from Sunnyvale toyota because I felt very comfortable and I know I can always go back to them in case it is necessary any time in the future.

Been a loyal customer for over 10 years with 2 vehicles, and was in a jam this week with water coming into the car with all the rain. Set a late afternoon appointment and they wanted to charge me $250 just to look at it. When I asked for a loaner, they said it would be a rental since they weren't charging me $400. Went to a local mechanic who cleared the clog in the sunroof for $60. Now I look forward to deleting email reminders for maintenance from Sunnyvale Toyota. I found an honest, local, and non-corpoarate entity to take my w Toyotas to. He was very helpful in showing to our son what the process is in order to establish his credit and what it takes. We felt so comfortable communicating with him. I recently bought a used Toyota Camry from Toyota Sunnyvale Used Cars outlet and without any doubt, I found them to be the best in town as far as customer service and promptness is concerned. They have a wide selection of cars to choose from and spent no time in closing the deal with their excellent service and friendliness. They were flexible enough to roll out financing options that suited my need and budget and I closed the deal on the very first visit.
Before that, I have had a comparatively worse or not-so-good experience with the customer service from other dealers on the same road and these guys impressed me right from the moment I visited.

He knows his cars pretty well and provided very useful information about different used cars that helped me to make a wise decision. My test drive with Peyman included both highway and city driving experience and allowed me to examine the important features of the car thoroughly. I never felt to be pushed to make hasty a decision even though I entered the dealership quite late. Marwan was also pretty flexible when it came to the car payment. He really spent a lot of time and did his best to offer me a good deal. Even though our negotiation took nearly an hour and half, he did not get frustrated and I never felt being pushed.

I met Jeff Howery under unfortunate circumstances, I hope to go back and purchase a car from him in the future but in this case I met him while I was returning a vehicle to the dealership. I had previously purchased 3 vehicles from Toyota Sunnyvale, and due to a divorce I was saddled with my ex's vehicle unexpectedly and needed to get rid of it ASAP. I went back to Toyota Sunnyvale and explained the situation, and they were surprisingly understanding. Everyone was nice, and they put me with Jeff who worked out the buy-back of the truck and tried to minimize the impact on me as much as possible, although I went into the dealership knowing that I would likely be paying out of pocket due to the amount of money that was still owed. I have been researching a 2019 Corolla hatchback since it first got released. I've talked with multiple sales people and all were very helpful. When it came time to purchase my vehicle, Jessica and Martin gave outstanding customer service. Both were very patient and I felt very comfortable with my purchase. Jessica walked me through all the details and gave me the best options. Martin helped me with the test drive and showed me everything about the car. Shout out to Ryan in Finance for helping me get good insurance! Overall I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car. This was the BEST experience I've had purchasing a vehicle!

I was at one time happy with their Rental Services. They provided good cars at reasonable rates.
However I was always suspicious of their mechanics. The wait is always long. Half the time I get the feeling that the services/fixes they recommend have nothing to do with the condition of the car. Seeing some of the reviews below I see I'm not alone.

The last time I brought it in for a simple oil change. They recommended changing the tires which were quite expensive for a basic set, and I refused. Magically while it was in service they found a nail in the tire which popped it. Their response was to offer me the same expensive tires that I had already said I didn't want.
In short: Came for an oil change and left with a flat tire.

Stay away. It's not worth the trouble.

2014/04/17 drove Prius to Toyota Sunnyvale Service to replace rear hatch garnish. I was told to have it done the next day. But next day I went there and was told it's not ready.
They made some scratch on the passenger side bumper. They said they will fix it and will be ready sometime next week.
The rear hatch garnish was replaced but the color does not match the rest of the car.
Called them yesterday and was told it might be ready tomorrow after 3:00PM.
Today called them and was not able to talk to the service adviser
It is almost ONE week, and I still do not have my Prius.

I got my Toyota Highlander serviced her a few times by Matt White. I have two new twin babies, so quick and reliable help is extremely important to me. Matt made sure my car was done in the window that was promised. I was able to get in and out of there and felt safe that nothing "extra" was pushed on me. This is a great place to get your car serviced. When I entered the drive, I was greeted with a smile and helped immediately. Olivia was my advisor and she was so thorough when she explained all that had been done on my car. I'll definitely be back for my next service!

Update: I was in for service again this month and was helped by Olivia, yet again. As always, she was friendly and helpful traits that are so refreshing these days! I highly recommend this dealership and hope Olivia is back from Maternity leave in time for my next appointment!

I went to purchase a Toyota Tacoma and trade-in my Chevy Tahoe using AutoTrader's Dealer Guarantee deal (I highly recommend using this service, as the dealer will cut you a check on the spot for the price given on AutoTrader).
I would have to guess that the employees of Sunnyvale Toyota are well compensated for the excellent work they do, as their attitudes and professionalism is obvious.
Lisa Burton was my favorite Sales Rep, she was always cheerful, friendly, quick-witted, respondent, and technically-savvy. She was always sure to get back to me when I called (even on her day off).
Yama Popal, a director for the Used Lot, was quite calm, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, even amid the din of construction.
Ric Dickerson was the financial rep who helped me with financing the Tacoma. His prompt service and superb comprehension of finance made the paperwork a walk-in-the-park.
I used to own a Scion xB. In the last 7 years, I've worked with Capitol Toyota, Piercy Toyota, StevensCreek Toyota, Magnussen (Palo Alto) Toyota, and Gilroy Toyota. Sunnyvale Toyota outshines them all.
Also, if you need work done on a Used Toyota, be sure to ask for Don Rebson at the Used Lot. He's been in the business for 35 years and in my opinion knows used cars like no one else.

Had a very good experience with the folks in the used car section of Toyota Sunnyvale. I needed a car, and was really not looking forward to shopping for it. I scoped out my options for a used Prius at the various Toyota dealerships throughout the Bay Area, and discovered that Sunnyvale had the best options both in terms of price and availability. I went in on Aug 2 to check out their stock.

Jordan, my salesman, was great. Totally down-to-earth. During the test drive we chatted about everything but car shopping. After we were back at the lot, he pointed out all the features of my chosen car, and opened up the other models of Prius there to see whether I'd be more comfortable in one of those. Once I'd made my decision, there was some very hassle-free back and forth in the office, just to see if Toyota could give me a better financing rate than my credit union. (Note: they couldn't. I was very glad that, knowing that I needed a new vehicle, I'd arranged for financing before going shopping.) Then he searched around to find a second key to the car.

Meanwhile, in the financing department, Ken took me through all the paperwork, explaining things and giving me the time I wanted to actually to read the documents. Again, hassle-free. Various options were offered, and I could take or leave them depending on my needs. All in all, I had a great shopping experience and would recommend them.

I was impressed from the professional handling of the sales person. He was very polite and tolerant to all questions and repeated questions. The price negotiation was very easy with no high pressure and delays. We got very close to the counter price that we suggested. The financing stage was also very smooth and fast.

Was charged $40 more than the original quote and the sales person tried to slide it under table with some mumbo jumbo jargon. I asked to explain and the answer came oh my mistake . Funny thing is this happened exactly again the next day when i came back to pick up car from service. Seems to be a systematic and intentional mistake. Unfortunately i go there because its closeby. But i have zero trust in their prices and intention to help the customer. Now on its worth my time to go a bit further away for the services.

Awful service. This is the worst service I ever had at a Toyota dealer. The service advisor did not want to response to my inquiry on service status. Other service advisor told me it is out their control. I asked to talk to service manager and was told no manger was on duty.

I just wanted to take a minute to rate my experience at Toyota Sunnyvale. As you can see I gave it a 5 Stars. This was a very smooth and fast process from beginning to end,. More specifically I would like to give high praise to my salespeople, Zenia and Daniel. Not only they were extremely genuine, but also they were true professionals. Their knowledge and experience in auto sales was far superior to that of the salespeople that I have encountered at other local dealerships. Their approach is quite relaxed and there was no pressure from them. They found a way to make it work in my favor and I couldn't have asked for much than that. Thanks Zenia and Daniel!
