Having never had a dealer experience before left me fearing the worst. I've heard horror stories about going to dealerships in general. This was the complete opposite of all of those. Everyone I dealt with made me not only comfortable about the entire situation, but were more than happy and patient to help cover any questions I had during the entire process. I think what sold me the most was the level of friendliness they convey. You can tell when people just want to make a sale and get you out of their door for the next customer. That wasn't the case here. They actually made the effort to go from top to bottom on everything and treat me like an actual person instead of just a checkbook. If I could, I would rate this much higher than five stars, across the board.

Just purchased a 2020 Prius Prime. Quite pleased with the process & the car. I ve been bringing my older Prius Plug-in to Sunnyvale Toyota for years. Always totally satisfied with the service experience. Not that the car needed much; it s Toyota... Anyway, they had the car I wanted. 0% down & 0% interest is a winner. Andre took the lead as Salesperson, explained things clearly, was efficient but not rushing me. In the end, he even delivered the car to my home. It looks sharp + zero buyer s remorse. Thx Andre!

My experience was great. Upon arriving at this dealership I was helped (not hassled) by Josh. He was very familiar with the vehicles and understood my needs. Although a Camry was not on my preferred car list, he was confident I would change my opinion. After a test drive I was surprised and taken back on how much I liked the car. It was the sports edition, and came with the V6. Awesome ride. After the test drive and a 48 hour cooling off period, I was ready to make the move on the vehicle. Bart in financing was very helpful and has years of experience. The entire process was smooth and hassle free! I went outta my way to buy from this dealer and it was because of Josh. Great service and honest people.

Girlfriend went in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Total ended up being $300 with all the snake oil maintenance they tack on, as a courtesy to you. Shame on you Toyota Sunnyvale, predatory auto repair shops have a special place reserved for them in hell. Don't come here.

It does not take a second look to know that toyota Sunnyvale has the best dealer around not to say that it is a good dealership in itself. I recently bought a Nissan Murano 2005 from Nestor CId and Ken. And as much as I like the car, I was so comfortable with them that they felt like a close friend to me. Thanks a lot you two. Hope you guys always prosper!

When you enter a dealership there's a lot of activity. But you know that the salespeople are sizing you up. Will you be the 9 out of 10 who don't buy and therefore won't pay dividends, or will you be a real buyer?

My family just went to Toyota of Sunnyvale ready to buy a car, we just needed some help. We got it in the form of John Papas (funny guy) and Roy (didn't catch his last name but he works in the finance dept.). Both super-nice well-spoken, kind to my family, etc. It takes a few hours when you're buying a new car, but they ran me through as fast as possible and always with a smile.

John P. took his time showing us the car we wanted, having infinite patience while my wife had him moving cars so she could see the color in different lighting :). We got an immediate test drive, no questions asked. They didn't know whether we'd be buyers, but they treated us as though they knew we were and that was nice.

Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend them (especially the two gents we dealt with) to anyone.

This was such a great experience compared to the last time I bought a car. I remembered it as agonizing and lengthy. While purchasing a vehicle can't ever become too quick, Elmer Javier and Bart DiCairano knew how to make the time pass comfortably with prompt work while maintaining the friendliest attitudes possible. Shout out to Jude Ismoisili as well for doing so much paperwork and treating my grandmother well. I traded in my old car when I purchased my certified used one, and I was given a very fair exchange for it. Everything was explained very simply to me. If I have one complaint, it would be that the coffee packets for the dealership's keurig are not organized and in their proper places! Other than that, everything related to the buying and selling of cars was awesome. I'm really jazzed to hit the road with my new vehicle.

He and the team there were better than all the other dealerships we visited that day. They were very patient, informative, and willing to work with us to get us everything we wanted. Let me first start off by apologizing to Mr. John Ewell as it has taken me so long to post a review! John had shown nothing but professionalism and superb customer service from the first phonecall I made to him so this review should have been posted weeks ago back in June.

Having been in search of a second hand car, I had accidentally stumbled upon a listing in nearby Sunnyvale Toyota via website. Mr. Ewell's contact info was available and I gave him a call in the morning concerning my family's interest in the car (a slightly used 2014 Volkswagen Jetta). He was very courteous and accomodating and over the course of the morning, we scheduled a time in the afternoon to come in for a test drive.

Meeting John in person was even better than over the phone as he accomodated to every question and concern we had, allowing us to test drive anything, walking up and down the rows of cars to help us find something within our criteria. He gave his honest opinon about all cars we tried, their pros and cons, never pushy. After officially settling on the Jetta, we got straight to the paper work. Mr. Ewell worked very quickly and efficiently while simultaneously engaging in great conversation with us.

Overall, the process from testdriving cars, to paperwork, to receiving the keys took about an hour and a half to two hours and we were out the door! This included filling up the car and giving our car a full detail! If you are looking for a new car, or like in our case a used car, I highly suggest checking out Sunnyvale Toyota! Superb, professional, wonderful staff.

It was the most pleasant car buying experience I have had! Right from setting up an appointments, to the test-drive as well as the follow up financial discussion was all done in a quick and efficient manner. Not once did I feel like I was being pressured into making any decisions whatsoever, and they were very transparent throughout the whole process with respect to my choices, financial eligibility, pricing, etc.
Jessica was very co-operative, friendly and very helpful thought the whole process. Sean was great at explaining the details of the warranties and the additional services. Overall, this was a great car buying experience for my first car in the US!

This dealer pulled a bait and switch tactic. They agreed and signed paperwork for a price, took a deposit, and then completely backed out of the deal the next day. I ended up being charged $1000 extra, or they demanded to take my car back. I recommend everyone to take their business elsewhere.

This place is fine if you don't ask questions or expect any explanation. I purchased my car here 4 and half years back, and got it serviced every six months without fail at this service center only. During my last service I asked one question and expected some decent and rational answer, but what I got was a weird answer saying we dont know how you drive and what you do with you car. I work in software company and do get questions from our customer, we dont start blaming customer right away. Sometimes customer expects some logical answer thats it, its not about whose fault is it. I will go to some other place next time.

Dino and Bart were amazing to work with at this location. We went in not expecting to make a purchase, but to get an idea of what we were in for when we were fully ready to buy our Toyota Highlander Hybrid. My husband walked into the lot and immediately knew that we were in trouble. There in the middle of the used lot, but looking completely new, was a gray-blue Highlander. Dino came out to help him right away, and made no judgments about his ability (or lack-there-of) to purchase such an expensive model. Being 26, we have been looked over in so many sales situations, including the new side of this Toyota location, as being too young to be purchasing a substantial SUV, and thus not worth their time. DIno was warm, friendly and super helpful. He went over all of the details with my husband, and he was hooked. They took him to Bart to figure out what finances would look like and my husbanded doubted I would be okay with what they came up with. He did a little test drive, but told them he couldn't commit to anything without my approval, and I was working until 4:30 at the time. They had him sign a quick release, and told him, "Take it to show it off, and bring it back by 3pm." So he brought it by my work and I was stunned! It was basically a new 2013 Toyota Highlander Hybrid, with only 5,000 miles, at a pre-owned price. We couldn't beat that. Needless to say, after some financial finagling, we went back after I got off work to purchase the car. While my husband was gone to pick me up from work in our other car, Dino had had the car washed, detailed, and filled up on gas anew! Great service!!! Bart was down to earth and honest with us as we went over coverage options and details, and he gave us some great deals on additions to the service plan and warranty! We were incredibly pleased with the entire experience, and have had some service appointments since then, and have been treated just as well. Thank you so much, Dino, Bart and Toyota Sunnyvale Pre-owned! You guys rock.

Very bad service experience. The salesman is arrogant and unfriendly. For my 150K mileage maintenance, the first quote is $1.1K, what a huge high price. I ask for a reason why, and get an really unpleasant respond. Then went down to $750 without any clear explanation. I ask for a price list for each item listed to set the priority. I get the feedback is " NO one did ask like you do" The Salesman said "I have done service for hundred people, no one complained like you" What an arrogant attitude!! Can Toyota salesman know how to to communicate with your customer? I have done my car maintenance at Toyota Sunnyvale for 10 years. I have made up my mind never and ever go to Toyota Sunnyvale. Toyota Sunnyvale is a place with pricey service and unfriendly service man.

I made an appointment to check out and possibly test drive a car. I was late about 45 mins. on my appointment but Flora was so gracious enough to understand and was very pleasant and very helpful. I bought a 2016 Toyota Corolla LE on May 28th. I am very happy with my car and the exceptional customer service on this dealership. They have plenty of stock to choose from, I test drove the very first car I looked at on their lot and came home with it! Thank you Toyota Sunnyvale!

The sale person promised with me that she will discount $500 on my car and I agreed to sign up for many document. However, when I went home, I figured out that she didn't put that discount amount into my contract. I came back to ask but the financial explained the big number in my contact likes he never attended a math class before. I had a big argument with them, and later they brought me to another person. At here, this girl explained a little bit clear and made sense about the big number in my contract. Finally, we figured out that there were two things wrong: first, the sale person didn't put the $500 discount into my contract( she cheated me). Second, the financial manager didn't know any thing about the optional service amount on my car $1,208,and he just wrote it down. That's explained why my car price increases higher than when I made a deal. I recommended people who bought a car at here should check the unclear numbers which appear on your contract again.

Purchased a 2017 certified Pre-Owned Toyota Sienna from them on 12/30/19. We were short on time that day and the salesman offered to deliver the vehicle to our house then next morning for free. Car was a bit dirty inside during the test drive. I confirmed with him twice that the vehicle was going to be delivered detailed, washed and with a full tank of gas.

Guy drops it off the next morning still dirty with half a tank of gas. WTH. I'm not the type of person to walk away from a deal because of a detail and a tank of gas. But it's the principle! If a salesman gives you their word, they should follow it. I contacted the manager Ali Amanzay via email. And of course, no response regarding the issue.

I also didn't look over the car too carefully since it was a certified pre-owned and came with a full 1 year warranty. Car's transmission felt a little sluggish during acceleration, but I shrugged it off during the test drive. They supposedly performed a 161-point inspection on these cars and it should be good to go. Two weeks later, I took the car into a different dealership to get it checked out regarding the slow transmission shifts..... they said the transmission had an internal malfunction and had to replace the entire transmission under warranty. Something these idiots at Toyota Sunnyvale should have done prior to listing the vehicle for sale. So I'm sure, their "inspection" is just BS. Slapped a price on it and hope the customer doesn't have any issues within the 1 year warranty time frame.

Never going back to this dealership. I'd rather drive a farther distance to get honest service from another dealership.

People push you to get the most expensive servicing even when you don t need it. Also, they will not tell you prices over the phone and make you come in. And they put pressure on you to go through with the servicing. Will never come back to this toyota.

I made a regular maintenance reservation online without being told the price. Out of curiosity, I called to confirm the price, out of my horror, they charge more than 4 x more expensive (nearly 4 digit, totally insane for a regular service) than another reservation that I made later nearby. They call that a "full service". Then I asked for the "regular service" (without "service that you don't need", but only tire rotation, oil change, cabin/engine air filter replacement), and its still 2 x more expensive. It would be great if they could simply show the price when the online reservation is made, in which case customers could make more informed choice without wasting time.

Our agent "Mo" (Mohammad Nazivy) was just the guy for us. Easy to talk to and answered all of our questions. It's important to know we actually visited the dealership twice. First time we gathered info and asked Mo to show us quite a few vehicles. We looked at used and new ones. No pressure to buy either by the way. We went so far as to test drive one and then decide to keep looking at other dealerships. Zero pressure from the guy. Of course Mo asked what he could do to make the deal that day, but once we said we needed time to consider, he let us go. He followed up with phone calls and an email, but didn't hound us too much. A month later, we ended up back at Sunnyvale Toyota for our car. Mo is in the "used car lot" of Sunnyvale. We ended up wanting a new car and he was able to accommodate our request.
Once we had made our decision, Mo stayed with us through the financial part even though a "Marco" takes over that department. Mo hung around until he handed us the keys! Marco was great too. Talked us through (slowly and multi times) the warranty info and maintenance packages.
Thanks Mo! We will be back in a few years when the hubby has to upgrade.

I had a great experience with Hansel (5/5). I appreciated that he listened to my needs/what I was looking for and I felt like he was being upfront/honest with me. He was also very patient with me in my decision making process. I would work with him again and would recommend you give him a visit if you are in need of a 'new used car'. Why 4/5 instead of 5/5? They do try to sell you on more items /add-ons - Hansel was respectful and not pushy on these add-ons. Unfortunately, some others in the process where a little more aggressive/pushy. I understand it's part of the job but if the others were less pushy, I would have said 5/5.

This review is about their SERVICE department - I have no experience with their sales branch:

The summary: unless you have infinite time to dedicate to calling them over and over, only to hear the phone ringing and nobody picking up or returning your calls, do not bring your car here for service. They damaged our car, then it disappeared for weeks with nobody knowing what the status was, and nobody kept us updated or called us. There was really no way to talk to anyone from the service department who knew about the status of the vehicle. Read more for details.

I brought my wife's Prius in for service and they made a dent in the side of the car while it was there. When we notified them they said we had to talk to a manger. The manager eventually got back to us and said that after reviewing the tapes they were going to fix the dent on the side of the car (although of course we still had to pay for the car maintenance service that was performed).

We left the car there for more than a week and still nobody called to let us know about the status of the car. I called them many times, and every time I got redirected to different phones where nobody picked up. I left my phone number to one of the customer service operators for someone to call me back and nobody did. After 3 days I called again, just to hear the phone ringing and nobody picking up.

I was finally able to talk to someone (selecting on purpose the wrong option in the automated service) and asked to be connected to a manager (I did this twice with 2 different managers). Both the managers I tried to reach also didn't pick up their phone and their Voice Mails were both full making it impossible to even leave a message.

There was literally NO WAY to know what happened to our car, if it was ready, or even to talk to someone who was not just a phone dispatcher with zero information. I have wasted hours trying to talk to someone and to locate my vehicle, in addition to paying lots of money for a very simple maintenance service and getting our car dented in the process. It's clear that they don't know how to0 do their job and they don't have a system in place to even assure a car doesn't disappear from the map.

If you want to worry for the next few weeks and waste mornings calling them, feel free to get your car serviced here. I don't have that time and since they displayed the worse customer service I have had so far in the Bay Area, I will definitely never go back.

UPDATE 1 - after another 4 days I still don't know the status of our car. Apparently it's in a body shop and they can't even get in touch with the body shop itself to figure out what the status of the car is (it's evident now that nobody knows how to use a phone). In the meantime we had to move 3 hours away from Sunnyvale without our car, which is a huge inconvenience and it also means that eventually I will have to drive back to Sunnyvale just in order to pick up a car that should have been ready weeks ago.

UPDATE 2 (09/05/17) - Called a bunch of times and left 2 voice mails to a service advisor different from the one who was "following" us (since that person has been MIA for 3 weeks now). Guess what? Nobody picked up, nobody returned the voicemails. I was finally able to speak to the Customer Service manager who, despite the fact he has a lot of improvements to bring upon the organization to even call his department Customer Service, tried to call the body shop (unsuccessfully) and then eventually went there *in person* to check on the vehicle. On one hand I was surprised to finally find someone helpful, on the other hand, an organization where not even the manager can get in touch with a department and has to physically go there to check on the status of a vehicle is just plainly ridiculous. Good news is that the car is finally ready (3 weeks later - fixing the side of the car they broke), bad news is that nobody let us know. So if I didn't take it upon me to waste my morning calling over and over, I might have never knew about it.

I purchased a new Sienna 2017 XLE. As a non-native English speaker, I have been nervous about price negotiation and other tricky things you can think about when buying a new car. Stan Wolowski made the purchase experience so smooth and hassle-free for me. We communicated about the color/option/price via email. When my desired car arrived at the dealership, I went to the dealer and Stan showed me the car. When we sat down and talked about the next step, there was no surprise or traps. When I asked about the extended warranty, Stan offered quote. When I decided to decline the extended warranty, Stan didn't use any tactics to "fool" me to buy other packages (this was my last car purchase at another local dealership). I spent about 90 mins on the first day and made $500 deposit. On the second day, I dropped the check and picked up the car. My whole family really likes the minivan. For me, Stan's service is a huge bonus. If I would buy another Toyota in the future, I will pick Toyota Sunnyvale and Stan.

On recommendations from Stan, I went to Sunnyvale Toyota to get my 1997 Camry master key made. My trunk was unable to open with driver release lever nor my existing keys. Somehow I still could not get the master key worked; but Mr. willie Davis of the Parts Dept. patiently spent the time to assist me. I really appreciate his attitude and patience. Together we got the trunk door opened and after $9 bucks, I am on the road thanking Willie for the wonderful experience. It is folks like Wille that makes me recommend Sunnyvale over other Toyota dealership in the region. David

05.06.2019 My husband and I visited Toyota service. We were there before and we never had a bad experience there. But last time we were so disappointed. The customer service was awful!!! The service coordinator Christopher Penn made the worst experience and service for us. He every time was not saying the truth about the time when the car is ready...Instead 2.5 hours we were waiting more than 4 hours. And every time he was saying "it's almost ready'. And they didn't do nothing special with the car. After he said "you car is ready, you can go to pay and pick your car in 5-10 min." But first I wanted to see the car and after that to go and pay. So, we were waiting again more and more...around 30 min. and we didn't see our car....one of the employee saw we were waiting too much and asked what happened...Christopher P. saw that from the office and came to us...and was very RUDE!!! And he was very angry and he showed the car and the car was completely not ready...He is not professional about the service maintenance and it seemed for us we were overcharged... for changing oil and regular checking we paid around $ 972.00. I wanted to talk to somebody else but he didn't want that...and he called his friend (colleague) and when I asked them questions about the maintenance - their answers were different from each other...I was so disappointed and sad, exhausted...very unprofessional coordinator!!!

Ask for Hansel if you're looking to buy! I promise you won't regret it. He is so down to earth and truly exceptional! Out of all the dealerships from Gilroy all the way to Sunnyvale, I choose Toyota Sunnyvale STRICTLY because I wanted to work with Hansel. He was the only salesperson that set an inviting atmosphere, that I felt comfortable with, and trusted. Hansel made mine and my husband's car buying/trading in experience a very smooth and enjoyable one. Not once did we feel pushed or obligated to buy. He gave us space and time when needed but was quick to be there to have answers when we had questions. He was very knowledgeable and was consistent in keeping in contact with us during the whole process. I never felt like my phone calls or questions were a bother to him. He was very honest and gave great amounts of information, which made me feel completely confident in my choice of the Toyota Camry Se. He always made time for us and even CAME IN ON HIS DAY OFF when we were ready to buy. He really went over and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied with our purchase. Even weeks after we bought, he still reached out to us to make sure everything was ok and that we were happy. Which we are! We'll definitely be back to see Hansel when we are ready to buy another vehicle!

Brought in the vehicle complaining about poor gas mileage, dragging feeling. They charged $90 , said no codes, said they road tested, nothing found. Funny, on the paperwork, mileage In was same as mileage out. Less than a month later, warning lights, no overdrive, etc. So I bring it back. They don't call, I call only to find out they need a part to order and it stays another day. No calls on the third day, I call, where's the car? Uhm, oh.. Well it is not done. Next day...7 am they call,.. It's done.
I think it was done the night before. Saturday pick up, zoo. Never again.

After starting my search for a RAV4 on truecar, I received many phone calls and emails from a ton of different dealerships and car sales agents. Out of all the calls I received, Andrew was very welcoming and transparent. I decided to work with Andrew from the direct sales team and I am extremely satisfied after working with him. We were looking for a specific RAV4 and we looked everywhere. After a brief phone call, he had the car we were looking everywhere for at his location and we were in and out within an hour with the keys and car detailed ready to go. Him and the finance agent made it the best car buying experience and would recommend everyone to ask for Andrew the next time they are looking for a car.

This is the worst Toyota I have gone to. I go their for maintenance. They didn t give me any advise about my car. Just let me choose the option over 1100+. And they directly uninstall all my tires without my direct authorization. They just want to sell their tires. This waste a lot of time. And when I go for check out. The receipt became over 1600+. That is because they made a mistake on my bill. I believe they might always do this. If you didn t check carefully you won t be able to find out. They first said that is because of tax. But you can calculate tax using 9%. That is only about 1200+. 500 dollar for tax? I am sure CA s tax is not 50%. Using this excuse to fool me? Really worst experience! I ll never ever go there.

The Toyota Sunnyvale finance guy is rude. I did not have established credit because I just came to the US for 1 month, and I need a car to commute to work. Therefore, my friend was willing to co-sign with my loan contract because he has very high credit score. However, the Toyota finance guy said that my friend and his credit won't have any help for my situation. They even did not check my friend's credit score, and gave me APR 5.9% for 3/4/5 years. He said that the only deal that I gonna take it or not, so we just decided to walk out the door and don't want to waste everyone time. That was not the way people do business. Even if you can only provide 5.9% interest rate, you still need to say that's the best you can offer to me or anything I can provide to improve and get better, not the behavior like there is ONLY one dealer in the whole US, and such that I must buy the car from you. That's holy crap.

I can buy a car ALL IN CASH and never take 5.9% APR. I did not do so just because Toyota provides 0% for 36 months and I can keep money in my pocket instead of spending them once, and meanwhile I can start accumulate my credit faster. But anyway, even I want to buy in ALL cash for another car, I won't never buy in Sunnyvale Toyota again.

The sales at Toyota Sunnyvale also told me some equipments were equipped in Camry SE. However, we found later many are standard in Camry LE. Such as automatic lighting, power seat, mileage information. There is no need to buy SE model.

Finally, we went to another dealer and they gave me 0% for 36 months with a great deal. The finance manager, who used to work in Honda finance, were nice and gave us an amazing experience.

I still give you 2 stars because I did not hate the dealer, but just don't like the way they do business and what the finance guy said to me and my friends.

Dropped my car here for a regular oil change with no other issues. Spent $900 as suggested by advisor to replace breaks and
now have a car that sounds like a grinder ( from left front wheel ) and squeeks everytime i break.

When I complained, I was told there is nothing wrong with it.
After 2 extra visits and test driving with the technician I was able to prove my point.

Fix suggested - spend another $2000 + to replace and diagnoise grind noise and additional replacement charges

Question :

Why is the car making noise after servicing. If its part of wear and tear, I would have walked in with that specific complaint,
not complained about it after service !

**I will never trust this dealer again.** I've been going to them for years for my Sienna, and poured THOUSANDS of dollars into this car. Now I don't know if all the breakage was their fault! My last visit was the final straw: I brought it in for an inspection and oil change. I also pointed out my key remote wasn't working, and wanted a quote to fix it.
Well, hundreds of dollars later, they told me the inspection was fine but the key remote would cost $275 dollars to fix. I said no.
My husband went online, and after watching a 30 second tutorial on Youtube, was able to reprogram the remote. It wasn't broken at all, it just needed to be reprogrammed, and for that they would have charged me $275 bucks!
A week after the inspection my A/C broke. Husband looked under the hood, and lo and behold, the radiator coolant compartment is EMPTY. Then he looks under the car, and a panel down there is loose and about to rip off.
I take the car back to the dealer, and the guy tells me the guy doing the work "overlooked" the coolant. Excuse me? I pay all this money for an inspection, and he "overlooks" something that basic?
Here's the kicker: a few years ago I needed THOUSANDS of dollars of repair work done because my radiator broke. Now I don't know if that happened because the guy "overlooked" the coolant that time, too!
He said the panel came loose because I went over a bump and "this happens all the time." I see: so Toyota cars fall apart all the time because they can't handle being driven over bumps. Uh huh. I'll be sure to tell that to all my friends looking for a new car.

First time at this dealership after relocating to California. We had a great 14 year relationship with our prior Toyota dealer and their service department, so our experience at Sunnyvale Toyota was surprising and very disappointing. We made an appointment, but don't bother making an appointment - it didn't speed up our service or prevent them from asking and reentering all the info again. Then they charge for diagnosis and don't apply the diagnosis cost to the repair, which all other dealers we have dealt with do. And their car rental is more expensive than other dealers, as apparently you have to reserve the two lowest cost rentals two weeks in advance or pay about $46 per day. The service people are indifferent, and treat you liked you're a number - they don't care. The wait is long, even with an appointment. We brought our car in at 9 am, with a very audible noise issue. We were told five hours to diagnose - it was nine hours. Despite calling and texting several times during the day, I was unable to get a response with a new time estimate or even where the car was in the queue. When we finally received a call at 6 pm telling us the car had been looked at, then call was the most unprofessional we have ever received - " the car's all gone underneath", and the technician will start by replacing the hub, but there may be more if that doesn't work. What?? I asked what does it mean the car is all gone underneath, and was told it was rusted away. I said that sounds odd, as our dealer had it on a lift and serviced three months ago, and there was no issue. And what does that mean, start with this repair, and maybe more? I had to ask twice for the price quote, as that was never offered - it was over $1300. I said, no, wait, we're coming in. Another service person (more professional, but obviously just putting in his hours, with no show of any customer concern), said both front wheel hubs need replacing, the axel may need repair if it breaks (??), and they are recommending new rotors and we may as well have the brakes done also to save labor, although the brakes are at 5 and don't require replacing until 3. So now they are saying well over $2000, plus possibly an axel. I called our old dealer's service department that has taken care of our car since purchase, and asked how can this be? They said only the wheel with a loose bearing should need repair, and that they didn't understand the concern over the axel, as the axel shouldn't need to be removed even if both front wheels were fixed. We took the car to another dealer for a second opinion. We said nothing about the visit to Sunnyvale Toyota, and waited to hear their diagnosis (which took 30 minutes). Bottom line - one wheel bearing, no need to replace rotors or brakes at this time, as they have thousands of miles left; cost less than 1/3. We paid Sunnyvale Toyota over $200, and walked away with nothing, except their attempt to maximize their charges at our cost. We tried to complain to the service manager, but there was none working... Go elsewhere - we definitely do not recommend. We prefer taking our cars to dealers and have done so for years, but it's important to find ones you can trust.

I bought a Toyota Avalon from here in August 2019. I first asked for an online quote and got a response from Amir Kandil. After clarifying some details on the phone I drove over there and Amir expertly handled all the details and paperwork so that I could walk out with my car in a few hours. This was on Friday evening before a long weekend. I also liked the finance department who did not try too hard to oversell me on things I did not want to buy.
