I thought their price for my plumbing job was a bit expensive - even after the manager agreed to give me a 'deal'. The plumber replaced the p-trap under my laundry sink in about 45 minutes. The front legs of the tub had been embedded in grooves in the floor. But the way the tub was placed after this repair, it did not sit in the old indentions of the cement and was wobbly and unstable. The plumber was supposed return to fix this. But after several calls and several weeks, it did not happen. I had to get my cousin to fix it for me. :(

They were on time and fixed my problem in a short time . Ed was wonderful, explained everything to me

I'd like to thank Chris and Jay, the guys who came to start up my furnace after another repairman from Gillece, RON, left me without heat last night. Chris and Jay have been to my home before, and again, today they were polite, friendly, and respectful. Very nice, and apologetic for Ron's mistakes. The problem was taken care of in minutes, right away, and without cost to me. I'd have them back for any plumbing or HVAC issues we might have without question. Would also recommend Chris and or Jay to anyone who asked. Thank you guys.

Steven Thompson (Service Tech) - Great Guy/ Professional. Helped us with our Plumbing problem. After analyzing the problem he took the time to explain it to me, (and did it in a timely manner.) If you have an issue give Gillece a call and ask for Steve he really knows his s--t. (lol!!) This is not Janeane, it is her husband!!!

Just quoted me at $3,000 for a simple hot tub installation. No, not a new panel box, just for the hot tub installation. Two other companies quoted me between $700-$1,000. Absolutely insane. Do yourself a favor folks, read the reviews. Check out their Yelp scores too. Believe what you read.

I had a great experience with Gillece and Stephen Thompson he takes so much time to explain and let you understand what s going on he really cares about his job definitely a winner I will call back in the future for all my sewer and plumbing problems.The financing that they offer is great thank God they had that digging up your yard to fix your sewer line is not a cheap thing they started right away the next day I barely can get any company to come out just to look at it within three days awesome guys

Do not use this company if you have ANY other choice. They overcharge and will spend the whole time trying to sell you stuff. The technician that came to check our furnace that THEY INSTALLED a couple years ago spent the whole call telling us how bad our current furnace was and how we needed to upgrade our filter system etc etc. We decided to get another quote and we are saving hundreds of dollars. As our current HVAC guy said "they look for victims, I look for customers".

Had Dave e the plumber out for some work needing done and WOW WAS I IMPRESSED with his knowledge professional demeanor and loved his respect for my home and family I will definitely use gillece and Dave again

Gillece came out to my home on a sunday afternoon when our furnace went out and my husband was not home. I was so worried about a costly repair, but the technician was amazing! He fixed our furnace after about 10mins and even gave me some things to look out for in the future. I am so glad that I chose them! The technician was friendly and effecient. I would recommend their services to anyone.

I never write reviews and felt the need to share my experience. First the positive, I did find the technicians knowledgeable and personable. They attempted to clear a clogged lateral sewer line and were unable to do so after snaking. They recommended I bring in a high-power jetter which they could do that day at a cost of $2,000 to clear the line, after which they could snake and diagnose the issue. I decided to get a second opinion with another company which was met with the expected resistance. The second sewer cleaning company came, performed the same service, and successfully cleared the line by snaking. No jetter was needed and I ended up saving $1,700. In my opinion if a company is set up as a one stop shop there is a danger of your issue being mis-diagnosed and getting upsold which I believe was occurring in this situation. I highly recommend getting additional quotes if Gillece is recommending a high cost repair. This review is strictly my experience with this company and may not be representative of the experience of others.

Absolutely aweful. I wish I could give zero stars. Called on Friday at 6 am because our sewage system was clogged. The person confirmed they would be there on Saturday between 12 and 4. Received a call Saturday morning stating sorry we over booked and can t help you till Monday. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. They will over promise and under deliver.

Friendly and they know what they doing. Told us what was wrong within 5 minutes of being there. Will use them again.

They'll upsell you by scaring you into paying for "more reliable materials" and throw out a complicated estimate to tack on more charges. I chalked it up to being a new homeowner but I'll never make that mistake again. I asked to be contacted by a manager, no one called. Wish I thought to put in this review much sooner to save others from getting ripped off.

Steve Johnson did a great job solving the mystery of our clogged drainpipe outside. He persevered until he found the pipe 2 feet underground in a weird location and was able to dig out all the rocks and mud. Thank you so much for helping us today!

Do not use this company. Had a sewage backup in my basement. Never happened before. This was the first time Gillece's techs arrived and immediately said I had separated pipes in my yard. Tech never put the camera down the cleanout to make this assessment. I'm fact. The tech said his equipment was insured and he didn't want to break it. Immediately told me they could finance me for new pipes $10,000- $20,000. Called a realtor to put the house on the market and they had their plumber come with a camera and,I do not have a pipe issue. This company cost me my renters. And I do plan on taking action for the list income. They are crooks. Stay far from this company and get a second opinion.

I believe that giving one star, although not deserved, is more than a decent rating.
Should you choose to hire Gillece I hope your experience is better than ours. The lack of common courtesy appears to be a rather fitting term. Very quick to charge AND overcharge (must be paid upfront) for services not provided and work not completed. Too bad that 7, yes, 7 months from the time they claim to have finished the work they were hired to do the mess in our backyard is yet to be cleaned up, top soil to be delivered, broken plastic pipes to be removed and damaged decorative property to be fixed. Endless phone calls resulted in being hushed with empty promises. Leaving several messages hoping for at least a return call, trying to be patient, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Tired of waiting and being pushed aside for whatever reason happened to be convenient at that time-weather conditions, shorthanded crew, etc. The next move is filing a report with BBB, then getting channels 2, 4 & 11 involved. Perhaps that will get someone's attention?
It's not the technicians faults, after all their instructions come from their poor management. What a shame and what a rip off!

August 2020: Gileece responded to a failed occupancy permit / electrical need I had, urgently and professionally, Hal was GREAT! Would use them again! All four plugs now gfci in my garage done as scheduled and promised! Update, March 2021: moved into my new home this week, turned on the water which was off at the main so the pipes don t freeze , well, every thing is leaking or broken! So, Ed to the rescue, sure knows how to take care of a customer, and easy on the eyes to boot. Sent me Joey, spent time caring for all of my needs, new valves, gas line, water line for fridge, new drain lines, hose bib, hot water tank...what a fantastic job. I now have them installing my dishwasher, and of course the shut off valve under the sink, new electric outlet for dishwasher, and my valves for the washing machine have also failed so those gotta go too. (No ladies, they didn t take me for a ride, all the valves are easy 50 years old, and really failed). Quality work, quality employees, great job again!

2 years ago I had a plumbing company come that advertises only $100 for drain opening. It was a disaster. The tech opened the drain but talked me into a $900 service then said we need a total repair totaling $12,000! I could not get him to leave. Last year I called Gillece. Took advantage of the $93 drain opening. The tech did his job, didn't push, and I was very pleased. I called yesterday to schedule another drain opening, and surprisingly they are able to come today. So far I definitely would recommend their services. Also the office staff are very kind, patient and helpful.

John from Gillece came to my house today to address an issue regarding a vent pipe. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We also did a 360 review of the plumbing system and he quickly identified and remedied other issues that could have become major problems for me in the future. I have had a lot of contractors come through my house and by far the service received here was one of the best. I highly recommend them and wouldn t hesitate to use them again in the future. Top notch.

Adam did a super job. He was very professional and neat. When the job was finished, he cleaned up, explained everything he did and showed me exactly what he did.
When we need anything else done, I will request that Adam do the service job.

These guys are absolute crooks. Installed a new system in my house a few years ago, air broke down this year they came back and tried to sell me another unit! Got a second opinion and they said it was fine and quickly fixed it. A friend told us they sabatoged their system. Use anyone other than Gillece. Don't let them use the heat to leverage you and make an impulsive decision

At routine furnace check , a risky carbon monoxide leak was detected by Dave .
He made the correct diagnosis and with his team (Tim,George,Ron), the appropriate treatment, the same day !
I appreciate their honest and timely service!

Ryan was very clean and he know what to do to get the job done. I will ask for him every time I need some thing done. He explain every thing he was doing and made such I understand it. He would not leave until I was happy. He clean everything up. I felt very safe to have him in my house.

They have a parrot as their mascot for a reason.. they're pirates trying to take all of your money, not caring about whether the work is actually necessary.

Scott Christian provided a very quick and experienced solution to my shutoff valve issue. He was very pleasant and respectful and exceeded my expectations for this service!

I called about the $93 any drain. I was told that that rate does not apply to rentals.

I really dont leave such bad review, but i had to call them for the hood belt replacement. I already knew what the problem was and told the technician the problem. He looked at it said i was right. I was told the belt was to be replaced. I said ok go ahead, which i could have done by my self. The job only was to take out the belt and put the new one on, literally takes less than 5 minutes. They charged me 537$ for that job. The technician also gave me a quote of 1800$ for cleaning the hood. Which is almost the cost of buying a new hood. I got a quote from another company for 200$ to clean the hood inside out.
Its literally stripping down the customers for money, nothing else.
The only reason i am leaving such a bad review is when giving out a quote(which is super expensive) to someone make sure if the customer has any knowledge of how things works or not.
It looks like this company is just happy with one time customers rather than long reliable customers, thats why exactly they charge so much money.

We purchased a water pressure regulator from Gillece since they wanted to charge us over $2,000 to install it and ended up paying $600 for a $50 part. 1 month later, we are now having to replace the water pressure regulator because it's defected. I will never use Gillece again and every positive review is due to the fact that they plead with their customers to write a good review so they can receive a gift card.

Called to get an appointment same day and they confirmed they had availability. The customer service team called me back just before noon to confirm I was on the schedule. Almost 4 hours later I call to get an update as end of day is coming near and and their response was we won t be able to get to you today. A business that doesn t follow through on their commitments.

These two men .. Dave and Tom .. could not have been any better . Friendly and efficient . Highly recommend them to anyone!

A man from Gillece came to my home to dig up my sewer. Some skinny old man named Harvey I believe. He was very rude and looked like he had been up for four days on a heroin binge and I was overcharged for a job that still isn't up to par. I have to call someone else to get it done right. A waste of time and money. DO NOT ALLOW HARVEY FROM GILLECE TO DO THE JOB .

We had a backed up drain in our laundry room that was also backing up in our garage causing a terrible mess and Jim came out and had the clog cleared in no time. He starts at 7 am which was convenient for me, he was right on time and got to work right away. The clog was cleared and I was able to make it to work without having to take the whole day off. I would recommend Jim to anyone in need of a plummer he was great!

I can't really review the service yet because despite two appointments for 4-hour windows, they have not yet shown up to even look at my issue. I would go with literally anyone else.

Tiffany, Tevina, and Hal were all so great! They were all very professional and patient with all I needed done in my new home. Everything is working great and I m beyond pleased with it all! Highly recommend their services

The service manager came quickly, gave me a quote and arranged for the work to commence the same day. The work was completed after inspection the next day.

THESE GUYS ARE TERRIBLE.

We had them come out to fix our toilet. It was flushing with no problem but the water kept running after the tank was filled.

They came out and fixed that problem for the moment but now our toilet barely flushes. You have to hold the handle down for the entire flush and even then it doesn't always flush. This is with the water pressure turned all the way up.

We asked them to come back out. It took a week for them to come again and that was after 3 CANCELLATIONS. On the 3rd cancellation I demanded that they come out that day. They called back and said they'd come. Someone came and barely improved the situation.

Now our toilet is running after it fills up again like before and sometimes the tank doesn't fill up at all, we have to jiggle the handle to get it to fill again.

We told them to come out a 3rd time. It was a Saturday morning appointment. By noon no one called or showed up. I called them to cancel the appointment. Now I'm going to have to pay another plumber to fix their job which they over-charged us for.

These guys are incompetent and they're rip off artists. They kept trying to up sell us the whole time they were here during the first visit. I strongly discourage anyone from using them.

This the second bad experience with Gallice. I should have known better.
The first time I called them to fix a slow draining toilet, I took off a half day so I could be there. They never showed up or called. After several calls to the dispatcher, I was assured that they would be ther, but THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!
All I wanted for them to do today amounted to 2 hours worth of soldering to move a shower diverter.
The plumber showed up and I showed him what I needed. He gets out the Gallice pricing book and looks up shower diverters and the price was $1184.00! FOR 2 hours of work.
Well I am going to do it myself, after paying $65.00 to get a ridiculous price.
DO NOT CALL THEM!
Find a local plumber or do it yourself.

Thieves. Their website advertises a special for drain cleaning, but it's only for mainline/for drains. They didn't ask what kind of drain was clogged, or for any details, so they could give a legitimate estimate over the phone. What we expected would be $93 (maybe up to $150?) It ended up costing just under $400!!

Admittedly, they told us the price before they did service and they unclogged the drain quickly. But they have dishonest and deceptive advertising practices that are designed to take advantage of vulnerable consumers. Clients don't have time to compare prices when there's water flooding their basement or damaging their homes, and this company exploits and takes advantage of that vulnerability.

Shaun did a wonderful job dealing with my issue. He was pleasant and respectful and went above and beyond to fix my electrical issues.I highly recommend Gillece service was wonderful.

Joe and his crew were amazing. When you pay a great deal for a service, you expect the best and they delivered. My husband and I were impressed with the professionalism and the positive attitudes of the workers. Joe answered every question we had, kept us updated and did an exceptional job. I purchased a new gas furnace last year. The old furnace was going bad. I felt like I was bullied in to buying their product. Their price is extremely high. The guy said my new furnace could be installed in one day. It wasn t, it took about a week to install. The salesman told me how great this furnace is and how much money I would save on my gas bill. Total BS my gas bill has actually gone up. The installers let a mess everywhere and had no clue as to where to put the new thermostat. I asked the salesman about duct cleaning, he walked through my house checking the vents opening and closing them. Now I have no heat in my spare bedroom. I called and told them what happened, I was told they would come look at it but I had to pay for the service call. So I m supposed to pay for something they broke. Stay away from them total rip-offs.

Promised on Wednesday a Friday 12:00-4:00pm appointment to simply open a drain and called to change to Monday just before 4:00pm.

Very happy with electrician Tiffany s thoroughness with my electrical inspection today.
I will be requesting her again in the future.

We were in the process of selling our home and had a issue with our sewer main not passing test due to a cracked elbow at the foundation. Gillece quoted us $16,000.00 !!!! The guy who came out went out to his truck and called back to the office to discuss what needed done and his office gave him that number..."so he says" ... Long story short our realtor referred us to a local plumber and he did it in 8 hours for $2,300.00 ...I can't believe these people are in business don't let them take advantage of you!

We recently had Luigi in our home to take a look at a few issues we had. He took the time to explain everything to us in detail opposed to other experiences we recently had with other companies. Highly recommended!!

Rip off. Total rip off. Needed a new bathtub fixture. Came took about 2 and half hrs and charged me 1400! I had them remove it and another plumber did it for 600. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. Stop the scam by not using them. Look at reviews either high ( my bet relatives ppl inside org) and really low. My bet is the low ones are real customers

This was my second service call in six years to Gillece. Everything about calling Gillece is professional and a plumber was at my house within 2.5 hours of my call. Scott told me his name and was very careful about moving through my living space. He did a really thorough evaluation of the problem, determined the correct solution and cleared the utility sink drain, cleaned the area and then tested it to make absolutely sure it was clear. There are no "tricks" with calling Gilece about a clogged drain---it is $99 and that is that. They don't try to sell you something you don't want, make you sit around for hours and hours only to have no one show up, etc. You call, there is a price, they send someone professional who can get the problem solved and that is that. I couldn't be happier. Thank you to Scott C. for your excellent work!

Dylan was an amazing electrician! He was quick and efficient, and definitely overall nice and friendly. He was helpful in explaining some things to me and making it easy for me to understand. I would definitely recommend.

Dave was very nice, explained things to me, on time. I have had to call to have service come back out, furnace not working. Later in the evening I had to call back as the furnace was not working. Another man named Dave came out and fixed it. Both men were very kind.

I had electrician come to my house and try to charge me $681 for a breaker. I figured I d give them another chance and not cancel the HVAC appointment I had on the upcoming Friday but they did that themselves. Even after calling and confirming the appointment on my lunch at 12:43 on my lunch. I missed a call at 5:21pm and called back at 5:23pm for them to tell me the tech has been rerouted and no one was going to be able to come. These people are total crooks, they try to rip people off and run promotions to cancel on you if they will make more money elsewhere.

Chris and Jay arrived on time to perform a free furnace check and they were very professional and Explained everythimg so I could underatand it. I would recommend them and Gillece to anyone

I swear all of these good reviews are fake. do not have these people do anything for you. the state attorney general knows this company by name and they have literally hundreds of cases against them. i filed a simple complaint and THEY CALLED ME. when does that ever happen? right....

Our pipes froze on a Sunday morning. Mike came out shortly after we called. He repaired the pipes and also some upgrades. We would recommend using him for any repairs

$450 to replace flush valve assembly is absolute highway robbery. I will not use Gilece for plumbing services again. They wanted to charge $1000 for a new toilet.

After having some issues with getting a technician to come out, Mike V came to our home to diagnose our water heater problem as we had no hot water and many problems with our water heater. He was extremely knowledgeable, efficient and polite. He needed to return the next day to finish the job. Mike scheduled the appointment for me and was timely showing up the next day. I would definitely recommend him as a technician.

I used them a few years ago and I called them out for my floor drain. They called me 2x to reschedule so a man comes out on Monday and looked at my drain. Went to his truck and came back to my house and said it would be 583 to clear my drain... the price online says 93 to clear the drain...they don't tell you it's a 1 time fee!!! What a scam

I just had Tiffany from Gillece Services at my home for some electrical issues. She was awesome, she troubleshooted my problem fixed it quickly and recommended a maintenance plan for future use. Bought the plan. I highly recommend gillece.
