My main sewer drain clogged due to roots. After a back up and a little water in my basement, I called gilece to come out and unclog it. After about 2 hours of snake work, nothing still clogged and filled with water. I m pretty handy but don t know plumbing that well but know enough that there are different bits for snakes for different occasions. After he packed his stuff up and came down sat me and my wife down, and told us what needed to be done, 10,000 dollars was the best price and 18,000 dollars was the worst. I m no sucker, told the guy to kick rocks and called in a second opinion. A local mom and pop shop, the owner basically laughed at me when I said I called gilece, and asked if he even changed the bit on the snake, so obviously this isn t the first person. After about an hour my drains were unclogged and I saved 9,900 dollars. Gilece is a joke, they should be ashamed. And the problem is there are some people paying these prices. Heads up call a local business before even thinking about calling these crooks.
