Cannot say enough positive things about our engagement ring experience with Denise at Windy City Diamonds. We walked into WCD based solely on these reviews and we are so thankful that we did. He took the time to educate us about diamonds, let us look at them and explained what it was we were seeing and why it was important, and helped us to pick what was right for us. He was great with any follow-up necessary, and is just the nicest person! We just went back for our wedding bands and absolutely love the final products. I worked with Komal to design an engagement ring and she was excellent!! Komal was very thorough explaining the 4 C's when selecting a diamond and gave me her honest feedback on the diamonds. Great Experience working with Victor and his team! Went to a couple other places first, but wasn't impressed so eventually came to Windy City on the recommendation of a friend. Victor took the time to get to know me and educated me on diamonds and rings, without being overly pushy. They give you a CAD rendering and create a wax model of the band before they actually make the ring, which was great and made me feel comfortable with what I was getting. Will come back to work with Victor again in the future!

The diamond, setting and overall result was spectacular. They were flexible and customer focused. We felt that we got a good deal considering the quality of diamond. My only suggestion is to ask more requirement questions of the customer in the beginning to cut down the overall duration of the buying process.

Windy City Diamonds is the place to go for engagement rings and wedding bands. I worked with Victor, who could not have been more knowledge and personable about finding the perfect engagement ring for my fiance (now wife). I must say I had an awesome experience working with Victor. By the time I arrived to WCD I had already been to 3 other jewelers and was feeling a bit discouraged thinking I wasn't going to find a diamond within my budget. When I walked into WCD Victor was the first person to greet me and was just very pleasant. Although he didn't have anything to show me when I first got there, I didn't have an appointment, he definitely made it a point to find something for me within days that was also below my budget. I especially liked that. He helped me find the right diamond for my ring and made the process easy and pleasant. I recently decided I was going to propose to my girlfriend of 1.5 years on an urgent basis. Before I could do so, I needed to find a ring and beautiful diamond as fast as possible. After skirting around every jeweler north of Roosevelt, I had came to one serious conclusion. This was difficult. I needed to learn so much, find a jeweler and person that I trusted and believed in, and lastly found that right diamond.

My girlfriend and I were so lucky when we found Denise at Windy City. Immediately any questions or concerns about trust, company reputation, or if there was a better option out there were put to rest. While Denise was a diamond expert, she also was able to listen and understand what was important to us... 1. Timing and 2. Quality of Diamond. She didn't try and jam us full of the designs or diamonds she had, but rather guided us through the process, educated us, and listened to our feedback to cater to our needs. She was able to educate us on her process for making the ring so we could become a better customer also. I know that my fiance and I were blown away by her ability to turnaround a product quickly, and deliver on that promise. Excellent customer service experience. Working in sales for 10 years and my girlfriend also for 10 years, we know gimmicky sales pitches and can't stand high pressure sales tactics. Windy City Diamonds had 5 times the supply of diamonds compared to any other jeweler we went to, and their service ability and response time is second to none. Don't take my word for it, read the other reviews. We did and we ended our journey at Windy City and came away super impressed. I must also say that they were very competitively priced on high quality diamonds... We stepped up several levels in quality for a similar price to some boutique jewelers. The selection was exactly what we were looking for.

Victor is the best! My partner and I visited in December going in with so much trepidation and then Victor turned it around and we left the store very confident that we made the right decision to get our rings from Windy City Diamonds.

A little background, my partner and I do not like wearing jewelry and have zero knowledge about rings. For our wedding bands, we only knew that we wanted them not to be thick. We also didn t want any precious stones on them but we still wanted our rings to have some personality on them instead of just being plain bands.

We were prepared to be turned down but Victor actually took our somewhat tall order as a challenge and decided to work with us from scratch. In the process of doing that, he took the time to provide us the much needed knowledge about rings and made it a fun experience for us. From design, thickness, color, engraving, size the whole nine yards Victor held our hands throughout and took our convoluted ideas and turned them into reality.

When we finally got to see them a couple weeks later, we were blown away at how perfect they were. Everything was what we had imagined it to be. We hope to be back for when we decide to celebrate a new milestone in our relationship and hope that Victor will still be there to walk us through the process like it was a walk in the park.

I came to Windy City Diamonds after a lot of no-luck visits with other jewelers, and several glowing recommendations from co-workers. I had an antique family ring to propose to my now-fiancee, and needed to get it tuned-up and re-sized. After I was told some ridiculous time or price estimates, I came to Windy City Diamonds and spoke with Denise.

Komal helped my then fiance and I design my dream engagement ring 11 years ago. My husband and I called her all these years later from our new home in North Carolina to upgrade my main diamond. This was our second time working with the wonderful Komal on a custom 3 stone engagement ring. I lost the first ring that she created for me and I was very sad. I found a lot of comfort, though, knowing that I could fully trust Komal to help me to make another ring just like it, and she did! Komal is very knowledgeable and very responsive. She asks all of the right questions to make sure that you design a ring that you love, and always gives you assurance that she will help you to make modifications if it is not exactly how you want it. She is great at setting expectations on the timeline and pricing, and consistently follows up on next steps until the very end of the process. It is a wonderful feeling to know that you have a fantastic jeweler that you can rely on, and I recommend Windy City Diamonds and Komal to all of my friends and family. They are absolutely wonderful.

Had my custom engagement and wedding rings made here. Overall had a terrible experience. Both had to be re-made several times due to defects in the gold. They spelled my named wrong in the engraving. When I had a duplicate ring made for my husband (smaller size), they tried to charge me more. After the wedding, a new spot showed up on the band. I was so fed up I didn't bother having it fixed. The staff is friendly, and others I know have had better experiences here, but I cannot recommend Windy City Diamonds.

I purchased my wife's engagement ring and wedding band from WCD, and had them resize my wedding band. I can't recommend them highly enough. Denise was a pleasure to work with every step of the way--she's knowledgeable, responsive, and funny. If you want high-quality jewelry at a value, this is the place to go.

I took my Great Grandmother's ring in because it was missing a diamond and i wanted to use it to propose to my girlfriend. Denise was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She explained everything and I didn't feel like I was being "sold". I got the diamond replaced and got the whole thing re-tipped so it wouldn't lose anymore. We then worked with Victor together to design our wedding bands. I worked with Denise Ferro at Windy City Diamonds on my wedding band, my husband's wedding band, and my push present. I could not be happier with the service, or my rings! I had initially found my dream wedding band at Tiffany's, but it was well out of our price range. When I brought the picture to Denise, she worked with me to make the ring within our price range. It is exactly like the one I originally found, but also affordable. I love it. When I got pregnant, my husband went back and bought a similar ring as a push present. My fingers swelled like crazy when I was pregnant, and did not go back down after I lost the weight. Denise fixed both of my rings so that they still fit. They are eternity bands, and she managed to make them larger without adding a spacer, so they still look beautiful.

It has now been 4 years of working with Denise, and she is always lovely to talk to and email, and so wonderful to work with. The quality of the jewelry is unparalleled. I highly recommend Denise, and Windy City Diamonds!!
