We stopped at 5 breweries in Cleveland over 2 days and this was one of our favorites. Good beer and food. We both enjoyed the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich. COVID precautions were in place complete with a quick temperature check and the staff and service were great. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, including lake side. Nice clean restrooms. It is possible to walk between Masthead, Noble Beast, and Collision Bend if you re up to it and are interested in hitting all 3 breweries in the area on one day.

Fantastic food, some of the best service we've had, and a spectacular view! If you like patio dining, you really have to check out this place - but make a reservation or go during an off time, it does fill up!

Some dishes were enjoyed more than others but the view was fabulous, the service was friendly, and the noise level was good for conversations. Interesting menu choices and I'll go back to try some other items. Overall a good experience. Reservations recommended.

Loved the industrial feel of the interior. We had an appetizer at the bar till we could be outside at the patio. Stunning view of the River and Bridges. Menu is local sourced so have to go back in the Fall to see how they do comfort food.

By far the best patio in Cleveland! Even during COVID, your temperature is taken and tables are spaced far apart. Plus, you can t beat the massive riverfront patio. The drinks and food are all incredible - I definitely recommend the 420 Fries and the Cauliflower Pizza (but seriously, all their pizzas are delicious. Definitely get one when you go).

We had a delicious meal here. The location is amazing, and all of the restaurant looks out onto the river. We had good service, especially the bus boy. Started with the brussel sprouts and fish tacos. The brussel sprouts were delicious!! Such interesting flavors but really unique, highly recommend. Fish tacos we're good but messy. Had the burger and spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken patty wasn't great, and there was quite a bit of dark meat. Extremely spicy, don't recommend this if you think you like spice but can't handle too much.

Our first visit to this place expecting an artisinal experience. After we found hair in our shared burger and the manager offered to "take care" of our beer, we found out in our tab that one beer wasn't charged out of 4 and the other three got discounted by $1. I don't think this is what "taking care" of your beer means. Also the $15 pizza was literally a kid's portion with four small slices. Needless to say we
don't suggest it and we won't be coming back.

1st time visitor- prompt attention, safety protocols followed, our menu uploaded to our phones, not your usual offerings, we ordered different appetizers and entrees, all were well presented and uniquely tasteful! Would definitively return the next time in Cleveland when we visit the Flats!

I've been here twice and the food has been great both times. Be prepared to wait for a table, especially on the weekend. If you're lucky, you can find a spot to post up by the bar while you wait.

The atmosphere is great, everything is really well done and it's very nice to sit out on the back patio by the water. Because they do so much business the service can be a little slow, but overall the service has been okay both times.

We went here as our 1st date since the start of COVID-19. The weather couldn't be anymore beautiful. When we walked in, they took our temperature and then sat us down. Every employee was wearing a mask. I'm glad this establishment is going above and beyond on taking this pandemic seriously. The food was amazing and hot. The drinks were great and delicious. It was very fast and excellent service. William was our server. He was very kind and treated us very great. William was also very fast and quick with the service. William would be my only server here at Collision Bend Brewery. Overall, this place was awesome and I would most definitely come back here again. Thank you to William and the staff here. We had a wonderful time.
Thank you again William for the most excellent service.

Went in early on a Friday night and there was plenty of empty tables which they had said were for reservations but the tables remained empty even after we finished eating. They did not quote us a wait time and ended up waiting an hour and a half for a table of 4! The server was very nice and helpful and food was awesome. Not likely to return anytime soon especially not on a weekend.

Covid experience review; We were so impressed with the Cleveland waterfront but as beer geeks we picked Collision randomly. What a GREAT experience! This is appropriate if you're traveling with OLDER children who can handle loud music. The food and service were excellent! It was a wonderful experience.

By way of backstory we' are traveling across American from our urban east coast home to our new west coast home. Traveling during Covid with two children is not ideal, so we're looking for the safest and most fun options. We are craft beer geeks and restaurant people. We believe in masks and manage the distancing easily.

Meh. Service Meh Food Meh. I would call it one notch up from bar food, more on par with TGI Fridays or Applebees. We had 5 different waiters which made things feel a tad disjointed. They ran out of one dish which was fine, their pork dish would not suggest. The Sweet Potatos and Sprouts were good but your headline piece, the pork chop, was just bland. They try to fix it with a side of BBQ sauce which tasted like somebody who's never had BBQ sauce before was told to make it. Pizza was better. But your pizza should not outshine your main dishes and it does. The side dishes that come with the meal should not outshine their main component and they do. Go for the sides and drinks avoid their main dishes.

Had a couple excellent experiences here. Highly recommend the blanco (white) or pepperoni pizza, the grilled Romaine salad (!) and the 420 fries. Vietnamese chicken wings were light and mellow, but will disappoint those looking for spice. Fellow diners very much enjoyed the arancini rice balls and the monster meatball. The roasted cauliflower pizza was less well received. Flight of beers were all tasty. Outstanding service and atmosphere, the latter especially on the riverside patio. Nice touches include bottles of fresh water ready for you at the table.

I really liked it. Service was very accommodating and friendly. The food was excellent. The beer tasty and, more importantly, made on premises. And the view of our river, the bridge and the flats at sunset was lovely. There is an enclosed seating area where the acoustics are cavernous and can make conversation a bit louder than normal tableside chit-chat. If you can tolerate a cool evening, or close intimate conversation is your preference, I would suggest sitting outside or in the main dining room. Other than that, it was a great evening with family!

We waited over an half an hour, before our server actually waited on us to only forget to take half of the party's food orders. Your portions to small plates shouldn't even be considered "shareable" and your staff need to be more attentive to guests. I mean I found a insect in my water, only to see your ice bin on the outside deck was large clear bin without a cover even.

Good food, good beer, great view! If you go around sunset and sit out on their patio you get a beautiful view of the sun setting over the water! It is beautiful! The location odds near the new development in the area, so if you find a decent parking spot you can check out a few other bars after you eat dinner.

As far as food goes, I highly recommend the eggplant melt. It is FANTASTIC! You can also just split a bunch of apps with someone for dinner, as the ladies in our group did. The fried risotto ball app was also very good!

Collision Bend s service, menu, and ambiance are all top notch. It s beautiful inside very industrial with class, if that makes sense. It s a great spot for a fun date night or throwing back a few with friends. I ve always received top notch service there as well. I couldn t recommend it more.

This was a one and done trip. Service was sloooooooow. It was at least 15 minutes from the time we sat until the time our server came by and said 'oh, hi, i'll be back' add another few minutes for her return. Then add over 10 minutes for my beer flight to show up - basically 30 minutes to get a beer in a brewery. Later beer orders were on the 15-20 minute side. I will say that most of the beer i tried was good. Food was so so, pizza was burnt on the edge, yet cheese wasn't fully melted in center. The one thing i will say that was entertaining was the steady stream of waitress's who would go into the 'ready' part of the kitchen and have their hands all over the chef (he was wearing a chef coat when others weren't so i assume the chef) it was back and shoulder rubs and more. Lastly, there are only two toilets in the mens room. For a place this big, that is a brewery, that was a complete design fail. Every trip to the bathroom there was at least 3 people in line, when on a date and the bathroom trip takes 10 minutes, its not a good thing.

Came in after a show at Jacobs pavilion, there were only 3 tables sat and roughly 8 people at the bar. I would say that's really slow for a Friday night at 11. We sat at the bar for almost 8 minutes without a single person greeting us or asking for a drink order. They just talked to each other and cast us glances. We left after ~10 minutes and multiple glances by the bartenders. On the way out we let the hostesses know about the poor service and were told, "that happens when we're busy." If less than 15 people in your establishment is "busy", you're not doing too good! Seriously the worst experience at a brewery ever. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the 50 other places within walking distance and grab a brew. This place is a waste of time.

3.5 ... So we were greeted by a doubty hostess who basically was trying to talk us out of waiting for a table. Atmosphere, beer and food were good. Bar Service was good but our table service was definitely lacking... To put it in perspective our appetizers came out before our Waters. The server was inattentive and didn't seem to put much effort into taking care of us. He was very slow in every aspect of dinner. We will be back because the place was super cool and food was good. Get a table on the patio for great views and be
prepared to wait for a table.

This place is a five for the food and the craft beers alone. What made me wish I could give this amazing place 10 stars... is Larry! He was very sociable, knowledgeable, and had a great care about this place. For the day we had...Larry made our experience here totally worth it. Worth a 2 1/2 hour drive.

Good place. Food is tastey. Beer is OK. Staff are extremely nice and helpful. The restaurant itself is very nice inside. Very nice view of the east bank. We had the popcorn, chicken livers, pork belly tacos, and a peach crisp (dessert special). We really enjoyed the food the most. There are a lot of menu items that we would like to try. We would come back.

Located in the historic and reclaimed (from ruins)...

Located in the historic and reclaimed (from ruins) Flats district, Collision Bend brewing offers up a great experience in what many would consider the Hipster district of the Cleveland Metro area.

Offering up its own unique blend of quality ales, and an atmosphere that rivals some of the best breweries I have visited in the country, collision Bend is definitely a destination visit for me going forward.

Despite a slow start on customer service after my arrival, Management and lead brewer, and the bar staff stepped up their game and offered a truly personal experience that easily rivals others. I would personally put this brewery among one of my of my favorite haunts in Saint Louis, Pittsburg, Minneapolis, Houston, and Denver metro areas.

Be sure to try out their limited release seasonal ales, as well is their staples. They have a solid malt build on all, and provide a clean and easy drinking option for those that like that, Hoppy for those individuals, as well as a dark side that can warm the soul. Even if it is cold outside, be sure to check out their vast patio that offers shoreline views of the Cuyahoga river, and downtown Cleveland.

I've dined here once with a buddy & my second visit was today with my wife. All of us were VERY satisfied with this place. I expect to return many more times. All the food was exceptional. So far I've sampled the Gyro-style lamb tacos, Spaghetti with cheese-stuffed meatball, Pepperoni pizza, Sauerkraut balls, Asian-style Sicilian risotto balls, Salmon, Beer-marinated chicken breast, bread-pudding and an amber ale. Everything I've tried would be worth ordering again. The menu is large with a lot of variety, so there is much more for me to try. The atmosphere is very beautiful/ pleasant and I love the views and riverside bar (outdoor seating available too with gorgeous view of the Cuyahoga/flats. My server today was MIke...good guy who gave us lots of attention. There are LOTS of staff giving lots of attention...water was continually refilled, table cleared immediately, etc. Prices are appropriate. This place should be here to stay.

We had a RESERVATION for a birthday celebration. The food was okay but the customer Service was poor. We ordered 2 buckets of mimosas, cocktails and a slew of items off the menu. No one came to check on our table to ask about the food, refill our water or provide silverware. We had to ask other waiters, who were assisting other customers in a timely and professional manner to get items we needed. Had we received the service that other patrons received, they've would have known the chicken sandwich was missing the honey, our salmon wrap was missing bacon and our fries were cold.
They also would've known, the pizza is amazing, the juicy lucy was to die for and our cocktail the purple rain was outstanding! Again, great customer service would have made our experience much better. We couldn't wait to get out there!

We would not recommend this place. Had horrible service and took forever to get food. Food was not good and we ordered the pie for my brother-in-laws b-day and they forgot to serve it. There was plenty of staff standing around doing nothing and one waitress serving tables and being bartender. Save your money.

Cool, calm atmosphere. It took hardly any time at all to be seated and get our food. Our waiter was friendly and conversational.

The beer was fresh and its flavor profile was accurately described on the menu! That s something I find important at a brewery, where one may not be familiar with their offerings. Try the Watermark Wheat - the subtle banana note is a pleasant surprise!

My cousin ordered a pizza, but to me it looked more like cheesy garlic bread. Terminology aside, it was very tasty and I d be happy to eat here again.

The first time we went the week they opened it was a Saturday and too busy to judge. Service was not great, but giving Collision Bend another chance was totally worth it. Got seated right away and our service was pleasant and quick all evening. We ordered flights and pizza and waited only 5 minutes for everything. The beer quality has also improved and they have some really cool stuff. The atmosphere was beautiful and we could see the river from our atrium table. Loved it, we will definitely be back.

Service was terrible. only came by once for orders . Burger was not worth the 40 minute wait. Let me enphasize the burger took 40 minutes. Had to wait 25 minutes to cash out.now have to pay surge pricing for Uber because it took so long to get the check. Never coming back again. Worst service I have received at a Cleveland restaurant.

Collision Bend definitely produces some great beer...

Collision Bend definitely produces some great beers, my girlfriend and I shared two flights and a few pints which allowed us to taste almost everything on tap. We were impressed with the majority of the beers, and the others weren't style either of us really enjoy. With that, the atmosphere isn't what you'd expect for a "brewery" in Cleveland.

The space is more of a restaurant and cleaned up bar than what we were expecting which was more of a reclaimed warehouse.

The food was also fairly good. We had a few small plate and really enjoyed the risotto-style barley and the molten meatball.

This would be a great place for a group to meet for dinner and drinks or to just sit at the bar and pick at a few small plates with friends.
