Where to start... I worked with Denise and she was absolutely amazing! She listened to what I was looking for and was able to deliver! Every other diamond store kept trying to sell me diamonds out of my budget or just wasting my time in general. Denise is super friendly and treated me like I was her own family. I truly felt she had my best interest in mind. I bought my wife's engagement ring from Denise and my experience was so good that I went right back to her to buy my mine and my wife's wedding bands! I will always go to Denise for buying diamonds in the future! Its rare to find a salesperson who cares about you more than they care about the sale. Oh ya she gave us a free bottle of wine! Awesome! Also, everyone who worked there was super nice too! Ask for Denise!!

I shopped around at several places for the perfect engagement ring. Many places had nice designs and good stones, but nothing quite matched what I got here. Fred was amazingly helpful at getting me exactly what I wanted, and the ring was well received. Almost a year later I moved across the country and searched for the perfect wedding band. My now wife found a design she wanted online, and once again Fred delivered exactly what we wanted for less than what we would have paid otherwise.

If you want to RIPPED OFF this place is for you 10 years ago I bought my wife a $4400 ring my first lesson is DO NOT ever buy a EGL diamond the 3 stooges or Marx brothers can do a better description of the dimand only buy a GIA dimand a GIA dimand is the best it's the standard of the dimand industry I had my diamond certified by an independent diamond expert the description of the diamond color was I color that was a lie it was K color I was told it was a VSI clarity that was a lie it was SI 1 I was told the dimand had no Fluorescence that was a lie the dimand under a black light lit up like a Christmas tree I learned a a valuable lesson stay off Jeweler's Roll my $4400 dimand is worth $1700

Windy City Diamonds is by far the best store on Jewelers Row. I met Garry the owner almost 28 years ago, and the customer service at WCD is extraordinary. Garry and his staff go above and beyond for their customers and they are the most trustworthy people as well. Not only do you have the most beautiful jewelry to look at you will probably get a lesson on how to chose the right diamond. I highly recommend them and instead of stars I will give them 10 carats!

This place is amazing. I was helped by Komal. When I started the engagement ring buying process I originally went to another jeweler in the area that was very pushy and not informative at all. I felt like I was being sold a ring instead of picking something.



I will be coming back to Komal to buy our wedding bands and any other jewelry in the future!

Working with Victor at Windy City Diamonds was the best experience I could have hoped for while searching for an engagement ring. I went to several jewelers on Wabash and Victor was the only one who was not high pressure and wanted to work with me to create the perfect ring. He had no problem going out of his way to bring in other diamonds that met my vision. Other jewelers would try to push the diamonds they had in-store, even if they did not fit my budget or vision. Fantastic place to get a ring. I was helped by Victor, who took the time to walk me through everything and ensure that I understood the ins and outs of engagement ring shopping. I couldn't believe my experience after all the rave reviews I've read but mine was a little different.



But the kicker came when the engagement broke off and I contacted Windy City to return the ring and was told I would only get 50% of the purchase price back because it had been over 30 days, it was barely over 30 days. Ok, I get not getting all of it back, but 50% of a ring that expensive is just not acceptable.

I'll never go back and will tell anyone and everyone I know to avoid this place and find someone who is a) easier to deal with and b) has a more rational return policy.

Komal was AMAZING! My then boyfriend and I went to Windy City Diamonds to learn more about the engagement rings and decide what type of ring we want to purchase. Loved working with Victor Gomez! We had 2 separate wedding bands custom-created and both turned out better than we imagined. One piece was designed to fit with a vintage engagement ring with a very particular style, and the final design was flawless - it looks like it came with the original ring as a set. We were really uncertain about what we wanted for the second band, and Victor helped us find the perfect design and was so informative every step of the way. Highly recommend working with him!

I was referred to WCD by a friend and after checking out their reviews I decided to make an appointment. I had been delaying buying an engagement ring because I just felt so overwhelmed with trying to figure out where to start. I knew nothing about engagement rings and felt like it would be more of a headache than anything else.

After my first meeting with Komal, my worries were put at ease. She took time to explain everything there was to know about an engagement ring from the 4 C's to the band. After leaving the first appointment, I felt like an expert and was confident in my decision to trust her with one of the biggest purchases of my life.

I came back a 2nd time to view some of the diamonds she had selected for me based on my preferences, but didn't feel like I had found the perfect one. Without hesitation, she hopped on the phone and was able to find something to fit my needs. I'll even admit that I did not make things easy on here as I ended up being pretty picky about what I wanted.

Komal kept in communication with me and let me know when the diamond had arrived, when the band was going to be made, and had me come in for a final inspection.

Victor at Windy City Diamonds is an incredibly charming and charismatic guy. I walked into this store on a whim while shopping for a wedding band and he made the whole process incredibly simple and painless. I'm the sort of person who's incredibly price conscious and I fact checked the price online and was getting a good rate for what I purchased.

I was very hesitant about the whole wedding band process in general since as a man I've never worn a ring before. Victor helpfully gave me some advice on how to know if the ring is fitting correctly and had a nice selection of rings for me to try on in the store. He was happy to write me a quote and didn't pressure me into a sale. After 3 weeks of thinking on it, I called him back up and told him I was ready to buy.

The whole process was great and I would happily recommend Victor and Windy City Diamonds to all of my friends in the market for men's wedding bands.

Denise was able to customise the ideal ring with us in patience when we couldn't decide on what it is and even when we took a 180" turn on the previous design. Although making up our minds took a couple of weeks, Denise was patient and kind to help us through the process until we are fully happy with the design.

Denise did not try to hype up the price but strive to make the price as reasonable and competitive as possible. I walked out the shop feeling I bought a ring that is worth more than the price I paid.
