Was dealing with Mike in parts, im not from around Calgary but he was awesome to deal with and helped me get the parts shipped out asap to me. will defiantly be going back for parts and would highly recommend giving them a shot

Here is a timeline of my experience at this Subaru...

Here is a timeline of my experience at this Subaru dealership:
Dec 17th - online appointment made for January 9th at 8:15am (earliest available time they had) for an oil change and a diagnostic on a squealing sound emitting from my car.
Appointment day, January 9th:
8:00 - arrived at dealership for drop off. I'm asked to wait for next available service advisor
8:15 - I'm seen by Altaf, he is friendly enough but explains that we'll need to get some info on the car. We proceed to do a walk through, but Altaf proceeds to point out minor paint chips on the car and tells me I have some rock chips on my windshield. I'm annoyed and ask why it's necessary to note this when I'm here for an oil change? He seems offended and says it's part of the process.
8:20 - Quote for an oil change is $135 and the diagnostic for the squealing noise is $170. So, $300 for an oil change and for them to tell me what is making the noise. The diagnostic costs do not go towards any service that may incur.
1:50 - Message received from Altaf that they have been backed up all day and they cannot get my vehicle in. He asks to call me back to discuss options
3:00 - I return Altaf's message and during the conversation he tells me that they can get the car in for the oil change but not til later or overnight. There is no courtesy loaner vehicles they can give, and all they can offer is transportation to and from the dealer from your work. This is rather inconvenient for me, so I ask for a pickup.
3:30 - Arrive back at Subaru for pickup. They don't have my car ready, as they took it out back for a wash. I ask them to get it right away so I can be on my way.

Conclusion - I don't know how these guys prioritize their work, but one would think that if you drop your car off for the day first thing in the morning, they'd be able to get a simple oil change done.

just took my car in for a clutch replacement and could not be more then satisfied. Amber was the employee I dealt with and she made my life easy, not once did she try to hustle me and gave me an honest quote and while not cheap it was because they caught things other shops did not, not only did I get my clutch replaced but it was done properly allowing me to have peace of mind my daily commuter was in the right hands and it only needed to be done once. always willing to answer my questions and make the repairs as painless as possible, if u drive a subaru this is the place u want to take it, quote might be a little higher but they have knowledgable jmen and employees, who treat u well and dont try to upsell. thanks alot Amber, really appreciate your help.

Great customer service experience, just walk in without any appointment and end up with buying 2019 Crosstrek. Got Dylan Dejong, who was very pleasant and friendly to deal with. Never pushed or pressured us and provide lots of time to make the decision, though it was late in the evening. It feels like you are dealing with friend rather than a sales person.

In fact Dylan was so good, my brother bought Outback with him after 2 weeks. He keep me updated about my vehicle and also do follow up after. Hope to get same sort of service in future too.

My brake caliper fell off my WRX while on a road trip, the service schedule was full so one of the mechanics let me borrow his tools to fix it myself. Highly recommend this Subaru dealership. Shout out to the service manager and the tech!

We ordered our new vehicle and it arrived ahead of schedule. Coordination with Robyn on getting the plates and vehicle registration sorted out was seamless. We were introduced to Tariq on pick-up day and he was very helpful with getting us properly oriented with the features of the new vehicle such that we were comfortable driving it off the lot. Our initial introduction and interaction with other members of the sales team was a rocky start due to mixed messages regarding vehicle availability, options and costs however Giovanni stepped in to sort that out.

I have experienced the highest level of customer service from the sales representative name Eman as I was referred from a friend who recently purchased from him. Being new to the cars, he made my experience a lot more easier through my decision and purchasing process by closing listening to my needs and tailoring to the product based on my specific needs. Your appointment is not for the service, it s to meet with an advisor to tell you what needs to be done according to them - way out of line for an oil change! Reception staff are very nice and professional. Wish I could say the same for others. Brought my car in for a Recall. Appointment was for 6:30AM, so I dropped it off around 3:00PM the day before.

Received a call at 10:53AM the next day from "Michael" saying they had just checked the vehicle over and it needed power steering flush and a new rear wiper - they hadn't even started the work yet! Received confirmation the work was done at 4:49 PM. I said I would need the shuttle, but they stop at 5:00PM. He said "I'll have to figure something out for you" and I said "Fine let me know" I never received a call back. BTW, this was a Friday Evening and I did have plans.

Next Morning I had to call them (yup, they still didn't call me back), at 9:30AM to request someone come and pick me up. I get to the dealership to pick up my car, and the engine shroud is missing! I know it was there before because I check after having ANY work done. I speak with "Michael" - although I didn't realize at the time he was the guy who had screwed me over the night before, and his response was "I don't know what happened to it". He makes a production out of going and speaking with the service tech and comes back and says "well they wouldn't have needed to raise the car so they wouldn't have taken it off"

This turned out to be a lie.

I checked the invoice after I got home and it turns out, they did an unrequested 30 point inspection and one of the things they do is to check Engine and Transmission for leaks - which can't be done without removing the shroud. So I called him back and quoted this to him and said the Engine shroud must be there somewhere and he chirps back with " oh well, I was JUST talking to the guy who did your service and he SWEARS that he didn't have to remove the engine shroud." Convenient that he had JUST spoken to the service technician, eh?

At this point it dawns on me that this might have been the very guy I spoke with the day before and I ask him "are you the guy I was dealing with yesterday?" To which he replies "I might be". So I jog his memory by saying "The guy who was supposed to arrange transport so I could pick up my car?". At this point he realizes he's caught and admits it was him and trots out a rote and very insincere sounding apology and excuse "sorry, I got busy doing things and..."

I was now furious, because the time to acknowledge his failure and apologize was when he was STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME EARLIER! I told him as much, said I had plans the previous evening, I'm sure I uttered a curse word or 2 and then HE HUNG UP ON ME!

How unprofessional!

So summarizing my experience with Subaru Calgary was this. Booked an appointment for a Mandatory Recall (BTW, had to book it in July for a November Appointment), Recall completed successfully. Received an unrequested 30 point inspection and lost a piece of my car as a result which Subaru denies having any part in and also had to wait 17 hours for their Shuttle Service to reunite me with my now lighter vehicle.

I will NEVER step foot inside this buisiness again.

Customer service at this particular dealership leaves a lot to be desired. I usually go elsewhere for servicing due to the quality/price but I'm now stuck dealing with them as my vehicle was stolen/recovered and needs to get new keys programmed (there was extensive ignition damage from the hotwiring).

I have been down a car since MARCH because of Subaru's ridiculous backlog on parts and to add icing on the cake this key reprogramming issue has been dragging on for almost a week with no ETA. Nobody seems to know anything. Maybe I'll have my vehicle Monday, maybe it will be another month! I'm exhausted and frustrated. I love my 2017 Impreza, but I'll probably never buy another Subaru because of this aggravation.

Went in to look at a used 2019 Outback 3.6r. Set up with a VIP test drive (where you can drive without the salesperson). Car wasn't clean (bug splatter on the windshield, dirty on the inside...) but no biggie.

Liked the car. Wanted to buy the car.

"Sorry sir...that car is sold, but we have another one in BC just like it, and it would take about 1.5 weeks to get here".

5 days later no communication - Ghosted by salesperson

Being a first time car buyer, I had a ton of questions; all of which Vu answered quickly and clearly. Overall, he helped me pick a car with features that satisfied my outdoors-men hobby. Extremely happy with the service I received and will recommend Subaru Calgary to my friends and acquaintances.

He was super helpful and educated me on the car buying and financing process. I just bought a used Subaru crosstrek that the previous owners had lost the key fob to. I had gone in to purchase a new fob, friendly staff and very nice building. I spoke to the parts manager and was told I had to pay for it upfront and the labour costs when it was installed. This was on July 13th. It has now been almost a month with no call back from the parts manager. I was told the fob would arrive in about 7 to 10 days. The parts manager had called me to get the last 8 digits of my vin number a couple of days after I had already paid and left the dealership. I have called back multiple times and have left a message for the parts manager and still have not received a call back or any sort of update on when I can get my new fob. Very unimpressed with this service.

I had a very poor sales experience here. Placed an order for a 2018 Outback, they said they would try and get the vehicle I wanted from another dealership. Then they wrote up the sales bill and tacked on fees worth over $2,000 more than their verbal quote and the online listed price! When I called and asked for the manager to explain the difference they never called me back. I gave up waiting and went to Red Deer instead where they treated me like a valued customer, were transparent and honest and secured the car I wanted - within the same day!

IMHO, what makes a great dealership is not just the great deal you get when you buy, but how they respond after purchase when something needs fixing. For instance, Ernie at Subaru Calgary waived the full cost of a repair instead of saying no, technically it's not a dealer problem. He listened carefully and then made the call to keep this customer happy. And that's not the only example. The staff at Subaru Calgary, in my experience, are friendly and professional and try to do everything they can to provide the best service. I will be going back to Subaru Calgary not just for my next service but for my next car too.

Brought my car in to have some programming done and a small issue morphed into some other bigger issues; as I was not pleased with the situation Ernie Bruno took the time to explain what was going on and provided me with their process regarding seeing this through so that I was happy. I'm very thankful to Ernie and his team for helping through a tough time. Coming from a customer service business my self I appreciated and found Ernie to be very accommodating , customer focused , as well as very educational regarding my issues. Ernie made sure I left happy. As Ernie was not always available due to being pulled in several directions(multi tasking) he made sure Nakita , and team took care of me.
If we had more people like this in this industry we would experience less problems.

Pros: They sell quality used Subaru's. Complete records. No Vin# switch. Respectful of budget. If it is a rental, they tell you so. If it is a lease return, they tell you so. The lease returns were maintained (required?) at the Dealership. Gives you faith in buying their used cars... shuttle to collect me to pick up the car; meticulous detailing inside out.

Cons: Like most 1-star comments concluded, they don't respect the advertised price's. High admin fee/extra charges/warranty plans/protection plans here and there... wrapped inside cash discount and lowered interest rate. You kind of get a feeling that the manager guy was pressed to do such, and becoming jaded that the customer's bailing out.

After Thought: this is not a place for someone with only $20k budget to shop. If you are a Subaru AWD sporty sedan fan and wanted to safely get an used, 1-2 yr old $40k car for $35k then this might be your Subaru dealership.

Went here to have my sensor looked at. I specifically asked how much is the inspection. The guy said it might be free if I'm covered with warranty. Turned out I'm not covered under warranty. They quoted me for over $2,000. I declined. They said now I have to pay $170 for an hour of inspection. Well. You didn't tell me about this cost upfront. I asked about the cost, you never mentioned about an inspection cost. If I knew that I would never signed up to do this because the issue I wanted to be fixed was SO MINOR. I think this is a rip-off. I'm paying $170 for NOTHING. This is probably the worst service I've ever experienced. I love Subaru and the brand, but this is enough.

UPDATE: I picked up my car today and apparently they took the rear bumper out to inspect. And they did not put it back properly! Now my bumper is uneven. This is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL. Now I have to book another appointment to get it fixed. What a waste of time. Things like this shouldn t have happened if this dealer does its job properly. I WANT A REFUND FOR THIS TERRIBLE SERVICE THAT IS COSTING ME TIME AND MONEY.

I really enjoyed the experience and our sales men was great, educated and never made me feel uncomfortable or pressured to buy. Will always consider a Subaru now due to the experience.

Came into the dealership to purchause a new vehicle. Once we had came to an agreement on the purchasing price drove an hour to my bank to get a certified cheque for full payment. On my way back to the dealership the salesman called me and said they could not sell the car for the price we had agreed on. The salemens reasoning was that there were extras on the car that he forgot about. Which he had explained to me about the extras on the vehical. So i explained to him we had already signed the agreement. They said sorry. I told him that I would go toa diffrent dealership and buy a different vehical. 5 minutes later they call me back and said they would sell it for the price we had agreed on.
After 6 months the battery is dead. After 4 visits to the dealership they replaced the battery. Now the keyfobs wont work.

The only reason they are 1 star is Paul service manager has been trying his best to help me.

Otherwise this dealership is a complete joke

Avoid this dealership at all costs, they practice shady business practices and have malicious tactics where you are forced to sign financing before you even get a vehicle on the potential that they can find one. Never receive any communication or returned phone calls. I now know why if you want a Subaru you go to Red Deer.

Amro was amazing to deal with, professional, composed and took the time to go above and beyond to not only assist me with my new purchase, but to also help my dad with his Subaru settings. I m fairly young with really good credit and when I came in I wasn t necessarily treated like an adult. My sales agent had some kind of forceful tone in his way of talking to me and when I needed something to be repeated or gone over again I could see the attitude.

They charged me $500.00 for a credit approval (which I approved for) then told me they would give me 7 days to shop for insurance and sell my car. Then when the car was being sold on the 5th day they didn t even give me a call/ fighting chance to see if I m able to come and pick it up before the next guys.

BUYERS BEWARE!! I don't typically write a review but I think future buyers need to know how unprofessional this dealership is. They really deserve a zero scoring. I will give you specific examples on the level of service to expect if you are to buy a vehicle through this dealership.
- It took Subaru a few months to pay off the vehicle i traded in, thus I was making payments on 2 vehicles. Never once did management call me to apologize. Note: they did sell the vehicle i traded in within a month.
- When i picked up the new vehicle it had 400km's on it.
- I booked an express oil change because my husband would be bringing it in with our newborn as i was working. They had him sit there 3 hours with a newborn to complete the oil change.
- I had a complimentary oil change to use and decided this time to leave the vehicle there for the day. Firstly, I was there at 7:10am and was told the shuttle leaves at 7:15am but they had left before i got there. Secondly, they couldn't pick me up downtown after work and had me take the train half way and they picked me up from the train station. I got to the dealership and they had just pulled my car in to do the oil change. As a result, i had to wait for this to be completed even though they had my vehicle all day. Lastly, they said i needed a new filter and i gave them permission to change it, which then they charged me labour for something that takes a few minutes to do. Essentially, eliminating the perk of the complimentary oil change to begin with.
- I recently decided to get into a new vehicle, i called a couple times to get my buyout and was told it would be emailed to me. At no surprise, this was not provided via email and I had to drive to the dealership to get the buyout.
- I bought a new vehicle, buyout cheque was sent to Subaru and again at no surprise they did not process in a timely manner and im charged for a vehicle i no longer drive. I call the dealership and there is definitely no urgency in getting this payment reimbursed.

Subaru is a great vehicle, i test drove several mid-size SUV's before going with the Subaru. The all-wheel-drive really is amazing. BUT please do not buy a vehicle from this dealership, customer service is not their strong point.

This dealership is a joke and most likely won't get return customers.

Three separate times with three separate people, I have brought my friends to buy cars here. All three bought new cars.... somewhere else, the arrogance of the sales people here is septic. One friend went to Edmonton to buy a Subaru, that's how little he wanted to do business with you. My other friend bought one across town. And just this weekend after driving in from out of town to test drive a car and not having one to drive... We went next door and bought a nice new civic. Fantastic way to do business, I think I'll skip this place next time I'm out car shopping. P.S. Dude bro manager, get a bigger shirt and fix the attitude.

Subaru cars must be so good they sell themselves, because after spending just shy of 30 minutes at this location on the weekend, sitting in cars, looking at cars, reading brochures. We literally sat in the show room waiting for anyone to talk to us.
We were greeted by the only one other customer there at some point and left. It wasn't bad service... there just wasn't any.

The venue is nice, clean, open ended space, gallery has nearly all the cars the brand has to offer. I will be back, but boy do I hope it's a better experience.

I dealt with Ben Zimmerman who was highly attentive and accommodating in helping me find a vehicle and working out a deal on it.

The managers greeted me as I walked in the door, my sales person Dylan answered every question I had and offered me test drives for every car I needed to try. This is not my first review for Subaru Calgary and I am sure will not be my last. Once again this company showed us exactly why, after searching all over the city, we decided to go back there to purchase our daughter s first vehicle. Just over 3 weeks after purchasing a used Mazda 3 for our daughter, I noticed a small leak. I took the car back to Subaru but by the time I could get in it was past the 30 day allowance of the inspection report. Not only did I receive a call from the service technician (Krista), I also received a call from the sales manager (Kyle) asking if we purchased the extended warranty, which we had not. After a short discussion. Was told by Kyle that he would look into things for me and I didn t need to call the service tech back. After a couple hours I got news that they took a second look at the vehicle, found the problem and the dealership was going to cover the full cost of the repair, which was well over $300.00. We then got a call that the car was ready a day before it was scheduled to be! We went in to get the car and were met at the door by our awesome, original salesperson (Dylan Dejong) who was making sure everything was alright and that we were still being looked after as far as the repairs went. What other place would give that much time, care and attention to clients who purchased a used car from their dealership? This is our daughter s first car and we have trusted Subaru Calgary with ensuring she is in a dependable and reliable vehicle. From our experience, we can honestly say that Subaru Calgary truly cares about their clients and has continuously demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond. Anyone in the market for a car should consider this dealarship. Based on our experience, it would be worth your time. Thank you Subaru Calgary for making this such a positive experience for our family!

My original review was 1 star, and you can read below the reasons why. I feel it's important to leave it up as a matter of public record. I greatly appreciate that the service manager has now reached out to us, and the issues we had are being resolved. I'm leaving this at less than 5 stars, because it had to come down to me leaving a bad review to be heard, and we had to go this route to advocate for ourselves.

I am very happy that Subaru Calgary took this seriously. I never want to be "that" customer. I've worked in customer service for over 15 years, and I've dealt with "those" people many times. Good customer service means listening to the customer, dealing with them with respect, dignity, due diligence, and making the best effort possible to resolve the issue. People need to know they matter, that their time and money are respected, and that their concerns are valid--especially when it's a legitimate issue and not an unreasonable expectation. So, way to go Subaru Calgary for responding and resolving this. Thank you.

We are extremely disappointed. We leased a Forester in March. We love the car, and the sales person did a good job of getting us a deal. Apparently that's where the service ends. The first time we used the AC two weeks ago, it didn't seem to work well. It has gotten worse to the point of spewing warm to tepid air only. We were told they wouldn't be able to look at it until August. A brand new vehicle, and they thought we could wait all summer to have the AC looked at? My husband took it in to show them, and they basically told us it seemed fine to them, (at 9 am and 13 degrees outside). They agreed to squeeze us in just to look at it in 3 and a half weeks, but gave the impression that they think nothing is wrong. This is unacceptable service. Our 10 year old Rav4 has ice cold air within 15 seconds of turning on the AC. We drove for 3 hours a few weeks ago, and it never got colder than slightly less than room temp. There is obviously something wrong.

Today, after a sweltering 45 mins in the car with outside temps of 26-29, and a severe thunderstorm rolling through, I had to turn the entire air system off as it was making me feel nauseated. I drove straight to Centaur Subaru, and they are getting us in next week. A brand new vehicle should have a company bending over backwards to make sure everything is right. We will not be going back to Subaru Calgary.

I highly recommend this dealership for the excellent customer service they have provided in our buying experience. Nisar Khan, our sales coordinator was responsive to our queries and requests. He was patient enough to help us find the perfect car that is within our budget. Moreover, Ryan Romano, the Finance Manager who handled our purchase was very detailed. He explained thoroughly the numbers and was very transparent to help us not be overwhelmed because it is actually our first time buying a brand new car. My wife and I are very grateful for the pleasant experience with this dealership!

I just bought 2014 Outback from there; everything has been good and the car is great. The salesperson Long has been very helpful. I had some issues with getting a hitch, they couldn't put it on before I picked it up. So they have given me refund on the hitch and a couple of free oil changes for my hassle. I had a company vehicle ordered through this dealership. Went to pick up vehicle, signed some forms and was informed my snow tires were installed and other tires were in the trunk. Was then given the keys with noone going over the vehicle with me, showing me features or anything. Go out to the vehicle and no snow tires were installed at all! Was told to call the service department to order tires and have them installed. Called them a few days later and set up an appointment was then told I needed to order tires through the parts department, who then told me it was done through service. After being transferred back and forth I had left my phone number with one of the service advisors who told me they would call me back immediately to help me out. Waited a few days and hadn't heard anything so I sent an email through the contact on the website. 3 more days went by and STILL NOTHING! Took my service elsewhere.

Bought a brand new WRX with extended warranty and ...

Bought a brand new WRX with extended warranty and have had nothing but issues. Been to the dealership 5 times for the same issue. Needed the turbo replaced on the 2nd time but still didn't fix the problem. Needed to replace the battery when it was 2.5 years old. Needed to pay out of pocket to remove carbon buildup in the engine (which they weren't even sure if it would fix the problem...it was just recommended under their "manual" and they couldn't go to the next step until this was done). Now today there is a new leak under the differential fluid area and it will take close to a month to even get an appointment when I just paid for that carbon buildup service a week ago. Like wouldn't they check for fluid leaks when I brought my car in then to even try to help diagnose the problem? It honestly feels like the technicians don't know what they are doing. I'm not usually one to post and complain, but my patience has just about reached the end. The service advisor staff have been respectful and patient ,so this is not a complaint about them. If you are thinking about buying a Subaru, maybe do a bit more research first to save yourself a headache.

I originally came in not wanting to talk to a salesperson. Matt changed that right away and we left purchasing a brand new Crosstrek. Hands down the best car buying experience I ve had and I would definitely recommend the dealership and Matt to anybody looking for a Subaru!

To get a hold of the staff there is frustrating, I have been quiet for a while now about how bad the follow up with the customers are but I had to say this, I just bought a car from there even before buying my sales guy Eman was nice, but while he wasn't there, I had to deal with another sales guy there and he came in and acted like hes a manager and arguing with me about the prices etc. Trying to reach someone through phone is a waste, the reception answers very quick but they will have to keep on connecting me to the finance guys and the sales guys because they are never at their desk. Fine, let's assume they are busy, and lets assume they answer after trying for couple of days, I always get them saying they will call me back but don't even bother, because they never do. I ended up calling them back again to get the same answer. I have just called them for my refund, one finance person answered and said will call me back, but I haven't received a call back yet, I am not expecting one. I will probably have to call them again. STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND. I had two people that could have been potential customers because they wanted to purchase a vehicle when they saw mine, I told them my experience and they went somewhere else. PLEASE FIX THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. For the price that I got the car I will give a better star, but for customer service. I wont give any!

I own a 2009 Tribeca.

On Aug 17, 2018, I took the car for maintenance as the head front light (Driver side) was not working. After completing an assessement and quick fix, it did not work. The car stayed all day long and it was not fixed. I had to pay $261 and told that there were two options: Replace the side head lamp or try another cheaper fix of around $200. Decided to do the second one and scheduled the service on Sep 21st, 2018 when the quick fix was supposed to be done. Surprise: The initial assessment was wrong but I had to pay the $200 because the guys tried their best and spent some time to make it work. In addition, the bumper lights were working but after attempting to implement this wonderful idea they are not working any more after Sep 21st. Keep in mind that I tried this because of the recommendation from the dealer experts.

These guys could not fix the car and charged me another $202, I asked to at least return it to me in the same conditions I dropped it off on Sep 21st. (Bumper lights working). Pending on getting a response.

My son"s 2008 Imprezza WRX was towed to this dealership after it had stalled and couldn't be restarted. Took a few days to get it in to be diagnosed. Service rep. called to say that they had got it to start and it ran 20 minutes then stalled again. He said because the car had been modified, they had no idea what the readings should be but thought it could be the mass air flow sensor. I asked how much that was and he said $500 plus installation. I asked them to check the fuel pump pressure and googled the mass air flow sensor price and location of the unit while they did that. Price was around $100 and it is located right on the intake of the air cleaner. Almost every review said to get a can of sensor cleaner and clean the mass air flow sensor. Dealership called back and said the fuel pump pressure was within specs. I asked if they had cleaned the sensor and he said no, they only replace them. I asked them to terminate the work on the car. Bought a can of mass air flow sensor cleaner and drove to the dealership. Paid for the 2 hrs. of diagnostics which I didn't have a huge problem with but was also charged $40 for "shop supplies" which I did have a huge problem with! Opened the hood and removed the mass air flow sensor (2 screws and undo the electric clip) which took less than 2 minutes. Sprayed the sensor with the cleaner and let it dry. Installed the sensor and fired up the car. Has been running perfectly since then. Here's another issue: they performed a ? point check on the vehicle. Comments were the engine oil was extremely dirty, the transmission fluid and differential fluid was extremely dirty as well as a few other problems. Went straight from the dealership over to Mister Lube and changed the engine oil which had less than 5,000 kms on it (we use Amsoil synthetic). Caught a sample which looked fine. Got samples of the transmission and differential fluids which looked like new!! Extremely disappointed with the misleading information. Will not ever see them again.

This was our first stop in seeking out a Subaru Crosstrek. We had an appointment and figured out the details with the salesman. Before even saying we were going to go ahead with the purchase he said congratulations and tried to shake our hands on sealing the deal . When we told him that we were going to be looking at a second dealership (Centaur in Calgary) he immediately got the manager, Patrick, who attempted to have us make the deal with them instead of leaving. Patrick spoke very poorly of the Centaur dealership. Even stating that we don t want to go there since there is a soup kitchen and homeless people nearby. We still decided to head to Centaur and get a quote from them. Centaur beat the quote we were originally given at Subaru Calgary, gave us thousands more for our trade-in, treated us wonderfully, threw in extra accessories and did NOT speak poorly of any other dealerships in the city. When I told them what Subaru Calgary has been saying about them they told me they are aware of that and believe it says something about a dealership when they try to talk down their competitors.

Please do your due diligence when buying a new vehicle and check out all your options. Don t fall for the classic salesman tactics at these large companies.
