First time taking my 323i in without warranty. Not gonna lie very disappointed. They didn't even fill up the proper amount of oil for my oil change. And last time I took it in there was a few scratches on my trunk that I know for a fact were not there prior. But no one knows how they got there. Some of the staff are quite rude. But a few others went above and beyond to make it a good experience.

Got my new X5 couple of months ago. Wanted to drive it for some time before writing this review. Absolutely love it! Was choosing between X5 and Range Rover Sport. X5 hands down, especially given their warranty and maintenance. Very well thought through machine!
This dealership is easy to work with. Special thanks to the sales rep Ahmed Elkurdy, he is a true professional! No pressure, very polite, quick communication. I am a very picky customer (that's right!), but Ahmed was able to accommodate all my requests. I also had a trade in value in mind for my vehicle, and Ahmed made it work. Very good experience overall, so ask for Ahmed when you come in.

As a disclaimer, the only reason I gave BMW a rating of 3 stars is because of BMW themselves and not this dealership. I feel ripped-off and cheated regarding how they've handled my warranty claim. That said I feel somewhat bad giving them only 3 stars because my experience with this particular dealership has been stellar.

In terms of the dealership, all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The service department is a pleasure to deal with and go out of their way to make sure the client is satisfied. While I'm rather disappointed with BMW themselves, I tend to walk away with a smile after interacting with the service staff; to be honest not sure about sales since I don't have any experience there.

Not to single anyone out, since they are all great, but I've been dealing mostly with Andrei. He has been diligent, empathetic and professional every time. Not the same experience at the other location down south but this review is not about them; its a review about this particular location and they're outstanding when it comes to customer service and support.

Both the service advisors Anna and Albert are just my favorite goto person when I have questions to start with and Tommy, a very knowledgeable technician is just remarkable. He is always there to explain issues with my car and I never had to worry a single thing. I can walk in confidently and pay the bill without asking any questions. Follow-up review. Fast forward until a year ago. Went in looking for a new X5 for my wife. Got told there wasn't any new vehicles to test drive, and after milling around for 15 minutes, and they got us into a 3 year old lease back (remember I'm looking for an overpriced NEW X5). Vehicle had 5000km less than the one we wanted to trade. Went across the road an purchased a fully loaded SQ5 from the Audi dealership (looking for a German vehicle in the NW, check them out, at least they respect you as a customer).

Fast forward 2 more years. Bought a new 2016 340 back in July 2016, took it in 5 weeks ago for service. They won't warranty a $25 gas cap that doesn't close properly since it won't indicate a code. BUT, I get the attached email from them 5 weeks later with recommended service needed on my vehicle. My windshield had a crack, their "recommended OEM" was $1723! Attached is an image from Calalta Autoglass for the HUD + lane departure, installed for $513 (70% cheaper, worst PERFECTLY, and have NEVER had an issue with Calalta in the past 20 years of using them).

They recommend full tire replacement of my winter tires on a car that has 34,439 km (mileage split between summer/winter rims) due to ABNORMAL wear. Attached is images of all four tires, with no notable tire wear front or rear or between the inner or outer shoulder blocks.

Last time you will see me at your dealership. This is nothing shy of SLIMY, DISHONEST salesmanship. I fully realize that BMW Gallery and Calgary BMW are owned by the same parent company, but Calgary BMW is worth the drive to the other side of the city. They respect you as a customer, and do not pull this level of dishonesty. It's appalling for the brand, and warrants ANOTHER call to BMW corporate.

I'd give them a 0 star if possible. Took my car with no issues in for a battery cable recall, it was delivered back with a check engine light, IBS error, missing kickpanel clips, and an almost dead battery.

Left a complaint, service manager didn't even call back! Raised it to BMW customer care, and the assistant service manager called me back and offered a deluxe detail as an olive branch.

Dropped the car off for 7 hours for the detail, it came back with dirt on the outside, dirty vents, carpets were filthy. My 10 year old daughter helped me correct this, and she did a better job than these jokers.

I did get the general manager to call me back, and his answer was I should have let them "try again" on the detail to make it right. Huh?

Avoid this shop at all costs. They have no accountability, and zero care for quality.

I purchased my 2016 BMW X3 in October of 2019, after four years of having my vehicle serviced at the Calgary BMW south location. This location completed my end of lease inspection and they noted that there was nothing wrong with it at the time. 12,000km later, I had the vehicle inspected again by a different mechanic and it came back with $2,000 of repairs. I took it back to BMW for another inspection and they agreed that yes, the other shop was correct there were some repairs to be made. I asked to speak with Anna, the Customer Service Manager, whom I previously dealt with over the phone regarding the matter. As soon as I arrived at the dealership and asked for Anna, she had told the employee I asked (which I witnessed) that I could deal with any other service representative at that time. I came back to the dealership at the end of the day when my inspection was complete and there was still no answers as to why the damage was not noted in the previous end of lease inspection. While they mentioned that the tie rod s must have had substantial wear in the last 12,000km, that s not realistic considering a tie rod should last for several years even in Canadian conditions. It s suspicious that in the last 6 months the tie rod deteriorated so much when I only drive on the highway and in the city and when the vehicle is parked it is in an underground heated stall. Already discounting our 4 year relationship, they further informed me that there was no goodwill to be offered due to the fact that this vehicle hadn t been to this dealership enough times to offer goodwill. When I asked to speak with Anna upon my return to the dealership, she again did not value my time enough to come and speak with me directly, but rather relayed a message through the service representative. As a 25 year old woman purchasing my first BMW, I will not be returning to this dealership after such a disappointing level of customer service. Anna Kocoj, Customer Service Manager, is entirely responsible for making my experience at BMW unfortunate and I will not be giving my business to them going further. As you can tell in her response to this post, she needs further education on how treat customers and if she would have taken the time when I had asked for her twice at the dealership, this would not be going online. This form of customer service is not acceptable nor is it one that I would mind giving my money to and I will gladly be switching brands after this. Kind regards.

I would say they are well organized in providing service, prompt attention, service agents are well knowledgeable on the technical details, courtesy vehicle provided through car rental services is also BMW vehicles of good condition. I'm particularly impressed with Earl MacMullin, service consultant and his professional courtesy during my service. I'm referring to a particular incident when my vehicle got a scratch on the door during the service, it was duly fixed and provided a courtesy vehicle during that repair period.

Traveling from hamilton, Ontario to Calgary & had a turn signal go on me. Went into the dealership where a nice gentleman directed me to the parts desk.

Once i got to the parts desk there the gentleman there was extremely nice, wish i got his name. When i told him i had a 96 vert, he told me he had a 92 so it was an instant connection. He got my vin and went to look for the bulb. Once he came back he just handed it to me and said it was on the house. This was extremely kind gesture by the dealership & the gentleman. I was overcome by joy, it is a small gesture but it speaks magnitudes on this establishment, Great people.

We had recently just purchased a 2020 BMW X5 and was helped greatly by Jun Kim. He was always so informative and never failed to accommodate. As well as Sam, the finance director, who really took his time and offered the best help in a very professional manner. Lastly, Santhiago, the delivery coordinator, had so much patience in spite of me and my wife being so clueless about the tech. Bought a brand new BMW 135i. Not usually one to write reviews either positive or negative but reading some of the feedback on here I felt the need to spread some light. From first walking in the door and not knowing what to expect, as it was my first BIG new vehicle purchase i was quite nervous, I met Malcolm, the salesman and Jerome his sales manager, who made everything extremely easy.. from selecting a vehicle to going on a drive. Malcolm explained the benefits and disadvantages about some additional features the car had and told me his personal opinion on them as well which greatly impacted my decision after understanding what he was talking about. After working out numbers very professionally with Jerome, the sales manager who was also a pleasure to deal with, I went through the rest of the financing which was made very easy by and quick. When I came to pick up the car it was in show room quality and Malcolm went over every inch of the car with me, even though un-needed, I can see the benefits to someone who wouldn't have read article after article about the car before picking it up like I did. I have dealt with their parts department quite a bit and it is also very easy, and when dealing with their service advisors it is always very simple and the car always comes back clean after servicing! Living in the area I stop by from time to time to show the guys the current build, and recommend the dealership to everyone I know in the market for a new or used BMW .

Great experience. Dealt with Tin Nguyen and bought a used X5. Very pleasant people to deal with. Felt very comfortable during the entire experience. Once deal was done I still felt comfortable and did not have any concern over the process, the price or the procedure. Tin was very knowledgable and helpful. I would definitely buy from them and especially Tin again.

Worst dealership in the history of dealerships. We booked in my 2017 X5M that had engine issues, we had taken off valve cover to see issue and told the Service Manager this and asked over and over if it will this be okay if we send down for warranty just the way it is. His remark was no issue send it over. If they wanted us to put it back together we could have and or at least tell us that this will give you warranty issues. Fast forward a few weeks later BMW has now voided my warranty on my X5M!!! On a 2017 BMW X5M with only 2000km. These guys denied everything when we went to talk in person and pretty much said too bad, it got heated, which obviously I would be upset when they voided my warranty. Not once were we ever told this may void my warranty, bunch of frauds.
My recommendation is to stay far away from this dealership.

We were about to embark on a small trip to Banff with overseas clients and therefore felt it was important to have it looked at prior to leaving. After we pulled up and parked, we were approached by Nupy Mangat. That's when the best vehicle purchase experience started. Nupy, was friendly and very professional. Nupy is extremely knowledgeable of the BMW vehicles. Needless to say, because of Nupy, my wife and I purchased the 2016 BMW X5. I typically go to Rada Saleh as he is the brand specialist and great salesman, truely knows the cars inside and out, is always able to make the best recommendations, and truly does look after my needs! Martin the detail manager always ensures that my vehicle looks amazing and any questions he is one step ahead in helping me out. Would highly recommend as the level of service here is mich higher than other dealerships!

Recently traded in an Audi Q3 for an X5. Nupy Mangat was great to walk us through the process from beginning to end. No pressure approach and made negotiatons on on the trade-in as painless as possible, and we were done in minutes.
While the X5 (on order) took a little longer to be shipped in (no fault of the dealer), Nupy was great at keeping us informed with his patient approach. He was re-assuring and communicative throughout our wait for the car to arrive.

On delivery day, I forgot my ipad in the trade-in. Nupy was kind enough to drop by the office off personally to return it. I appreciate his over and above customer service; he s the reason I would continue to purchase from BMW Gallery in the future.

Divina Oliviero was great in walking me through the financial process, and quickly followed up on some snags encoutered during the process. Appreciate her customer-oriented service as well.

The WORST experience ever! I wish I had read all the one star reviews before I took my M3 here for service. AVOID this place or you will regret it....

If you did experience issues (and you will), don t bother trying to get the problem rectified The GM, Justin, is too young and inexperienced, and he lacks the standard of professionalism, knowledge and courtesy required to run a successful dealership.

It s now more than 3 months since I got my new car in June from Jimmy. He and the manager Mike were quite nice before and on handing over the car. But they provide no after sale customer service at all, not even a friendly chat asking whether everything is fine not that I would expect of BMW. When the car was delivered, Jimmy promised to help me with winter tires but he never followed up with that.

Now that I have questions about winter tires for my car so I called Jimmy. He answered me in a very hasty manner. I asked him whether he s busy, I could call again. But no matter what questions I asked, he just asked me to contact a friend of his who sold tires for BMW. He said he would text me the contact details of this person, and he would also ask BMW Service Dept for me and let me know. It s 2 days now. He didn t call me back and didn t text me any contact details. Nothing!

I called manager Mike today hoping to get some help but again what I got is the same hasty tone and he asked me to contact Jimmy who sold the car to me. He did answer my questions but the feeling I got from talking to both of them is that they did not have the time to talk to me and they pushed me to another person. Rude and not helpful at all.

What kind of customer service is that? Very disappointed! I will not go to this store again for another car.

My worst experience with BMW gallery. I purchased 2012 BMW X1 with extended warranty from Nick one and half months ago. He and the manager Paul were quite nice before and on handing over the car. It is my first ever BMW, but I am not satisfied with the customer service and the performance of vehicle. It broke down in the middle of the road two days ago. The engine stopped working and the gear knob shifted to neutral mode and then to parking mode automatically. This was very embarrassing and scary having broken car in the middle of road, especially when two months old baby is also in the car in the cold weather. Having no success after attempting few times to start the engine, I had to tow it to BMW gallery. I doubt if the vehicle was properly inspected or if there was a fault which was hidden at the time of hand over. I am surprised how a vehicle having only 33k on the odometer can break down in the middle of the road. It been two days and the vehicle has neither been diagnosed nor I have been provided any rental car. Based on this experience, I believe this is going to be my first and last BMW car.

I would not recomend BMW Gallery to anyone. I was neglected and dissatisfied. My safety was an afterthought by everyone who was involved with the purchase of my car. I experienced negligent workmanship and poor customer service. The car was inspected and had the tires rebalanced before I picked it up. They allowed it to leave the lot with a burnt out headlight, disabled cruise control, undrivable front brakes and, paper instructions in the oil filter! If I knew my expierience was going to be such a headache with them, I would laugh at the thought of giving them a single dollar...

After three weeks of having the car, the engine light came on. I took it to my own mechanic shop for a secondary overall inspection to find out that only 50% of the front brake pads were connecting to the rusted rotors. I was shocked! The engine light was a faulty sensor. The gallery, reimbursed me for the inspection and for my mechanic to enable cruise control. However, they wouldn t allow my mechanic shop to fix the brakes and sensor immediately because they perfered the work to be carried out by VW. They showed that my safety wasn t a priority by putting the car back on the road.
The remaining work was carried out by VW. The senor was not replaced but fixed with a software update. After the work was carried there was no follow up from BMW. Now, six months later, I sit here writing this review with an engine light showing the same faulty sensor...

Upon getting my first oil change at Mr. Lube, the techs and I were amazed to find the original paper instructions in the oil filter. I m appalled by the careless attention of the tech who originally serviced my car upon purchasing it. I m dissapointed in the poor treatment and care as a customer. And I cannot believe that a so called prestigious dealership would offer such terrible service. Never again will I deal with BWM Gallery.

The client experience is one of the most important factors when purchasing a vehicle. My salesman Nupy embodied all the traits of what a buyer would expect from a sales professional (straight-forward mentality, ability to match the buyers needs and wants with the right car, exceeding the buyer's expectations, etc). When I was going through the process of buying a car I would get my calls returned within minutes. After buying my car I would have to leave multiple voicemails and still get no call back. After calling and refusing to leave another voice magically someone is avalible to take my call.
Be careful what they say to you when you are purchasing your vehicle because one year down the road they will not honor it.
And somehow the staff I worked with to purchase my car no longer works there.
Wonder why. Its all lies.
Short story they tell you something thats not even true.
I would not recommend this dealer or the one down south.

As for service department staff doesnt know when to book your services. They booked me a service appointment, after telling them my car was saying it did not need service. Was threatened that my warranty would be void if i didnt bring it in. Didnt even have 10 000km on it.
Had to take the afternoom off on top of a 30 minute drive to there went in and they said my car didnt need service.

This is where you want to go to buy your BMW!! I was shopping for several weeks and because I had many different criteria to meet (mileage, warranty, price, payments, service etc.), I wasn't confident in making a purchase. Jun Kim helped me with my X5, and after quite sometime, him and his team were able to get me a vehicle that comfortably met all my criteria. She was a pleasure to work with. It's been several weeks since I picked up my SUV, and the service and follow-up afterwards have been amazing. My X5 was used, throughout the 2 weeks of driving it around, many questions came to mind, and Jun was quick to answer me and always ensured I was comfortable with the answer. Well done on his part! Bad experience with this Dealer. When the negotiation at my first visit is not finished, the sale man (Michael Wozniak) and finance manager (Sam Barbour) didn t reply either my message or e-mail. Sam is worse when he isn t honest about the warranty and inspection report. I m client of Mercedes from years and I m very happy with The best or nothing like their slogan. This Dealer really makes me disappointed. It s unacceptable when these guys despise their clients. I cannot imagine why they can be staff of BMW worst guys that I met in my life. I love BMW too but Never comeback this dealer.

You would think, when spending the extra money to buy a quality product that good service would come with it. Not true at all with this location. I will no longer be dealing with this location. My experience with them has left such a sour taste in my mouth I doubt I would consider a BMW for my next car. I am surprized to see numerous complaints regarding the same problem. Ive always brought my vehicle back to the dealer for all maintenance since brand new. Just recently they had told me I needed to change my valve cover gasket on my vehicle and would cost a substantial amount of money. I was a bit puzzled because my car has extremely low kms on it. In doing so I brought it to another reputable local shop that specializes in European vehicles for a second opinion and they told me the contrary. I didn't need to replace that part yet because it was still in good shape. So just FYI, getting a second opinion on more substantial services might be a good idea just to get a better understanding.

At the end of 2014 and beginning of 2015, I took my 2004 BMW in three times for service and asked for the coolant to be checked as the light kept coming on. The first two times I was told there was nothing wrong. The third time, the fix came with a two thousand dollar invoice. When I spoke to the Service Manager about the problem not being noticed the first two times, he did not seem to care.

I was also told of several other repairs that would total an additional five thousand dollars to fix, including several oil leaks that needed to be addressed immediately . This was almost a year ago and I have not seen any oil underneath the spots where I park my car. When having oil changes this year in non-BMW garages, I have asked the technicians to check for oil leaks and nothing was seen except a light engine sweat in October.

Giving two stars because the desk staff and courtesy car drivers are exceptionally nice and helpful. However, BMW Crowfoot will never get another dollar of my money.

What a waste of my $1448! I went in to get the brake fluid and some minor scratches and dents repaired on my 320i xdrive and was pushed by Andrei to get the tires changed. I specifically told him to only go ahead with the brake fluid changed and the dent repaired. But when I went in to collect my car, the dents were not taken care of. I paid a huge amount for service that I did not approve!

Purchased 2 cars from this dealership - excellent sales experience from Bobby Clark both times.

Unfortunately, the same does not apply to their service department. Over the course of nearly 3 years ownership:

1) They ignore customer requests.
2) Any problems are promptly marked as 'unable to replicate'
3) Extremely difficult to obtain loaners
4) Didn't correctly service vehicle - had to go back for multiple warranty maintenance items within weeks, because they didn't check fob.
5) Their detail department swirled up both cars when they were brand new.

My wife has had similar experiences with her car from the same dealership, including poor communication, poor quality repairs and unhelpful/miserable service advisers.

Doubt I'll buy another BMW since both Calgary dealers are the same group - why reward mediocrity?. The cars are acceptable, but the service is horrible.

My partner and I were very undecided about which car we wanted, but Nupy was so patient with us. He was well aware that we were going between two dealerships to shop for a car but Nupy never made us feel rushed or pressured to buy from BMW. He was very patient, honest and factual. He even brought the first car we were considering to our home for a test drive!
