Josh is great, if you need work done on your car, he is the one to go to. Incredibly accommodating and helpful. I don't know the first thing about cars or dealerships, and he never once made me feel like an idiot. I was dreading having to mess with a dealership, but he made it easy.

This is one of those dealers that are all smiles when you are buying something but turn hostile on you when there is a problem. Even though my misfortune was getting a bad car from Ford the horror story in resolving the issue lies directly with the extremely poor service at this dealership. Long story short, there was a leak in the dash area and it jacked up the electronics. Ford eventually replaced the vehicle under the lemon law but it was a horrid nightmare that took nearly a year. I'll never forget. I will never do business with this dealership again. Doubtful that I will ever buy another Ford. I will do everything in my power and time left on this earth to warn others.

My husband & I just purchased a truck from this dealership. I cannot say this enough... I LOVED our experience here. We first filled out an online form regarding the truck, 5 minutes later, we received a call from Devin who asked us to come in to see it. When we arrived, we were quickly greeted by Mike Madrid who was expecting us. Great person, not trying to push a sale on you just trying to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for! After a few hours of getting everything we needed for our loan application and it being close to 9pm (they close at 8) and didn't make us feel like a burden at all that we were there after hours. They asked us to come the next day to sign our documents etc.. The following day we went in and within two hours we walked out with the truck. Steve Davidson the Finance Director is ABSOLUTELY amazing. He definitely gets you the BEST rate and deal possible. Every single staff interaction we had was top notch! One of a kind for sure. They have a wonderful lobby and a piano that plays automatically for a relaxing feel while you wait. The staff was honest and they felt like friends. Kyle did an EXCELLENT job going over all the features our truck offers and then some! Hands down, the best dealership I have ever been to! I will be recommending Bob Allen Ford of Overland Park to everyone! Thank you again to all the Bob Allen Ford team for not making us feel like another sale, but a longtime friend!

Never ever EVER get service done here! They will charge you 4 times the amount for parts! Even a simple starter they quoted at $607. I called 3 other places and they were all less than $299 with labor. I ended up getting my car towed to Donovans. I was just here 2 weeks ago and spent $973 for them to replace an idle air control valve, noise suppressor for the engine, and a fuel system flush. I'm finding out too late that those were all cheap fixes. They told me my car would not operate period, without getting those things done. I was advised to contact my lawyer from another mechanic who told me they were raping me. He looked at my receipt and noticed I was charged $516 for a simple diagnostic.

For the recent service on my Escape, I easily dropped off my vehicle and was provided a loaner, which is part of my maintenance agreement. I was told I'd be called when my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I never got a call, so I called around 4pm and was told it was ready. Picked it up at 6pm and was very satisfied with the scheduled maintenance performed on it.

We absolutely had the best experience at Bob Allen Ford. We found a vehicle online at that dealership that we really wanted to look at. We didn't call first, but just showed up on a Saturday morning for a test drive. The vehicle was not there. We worked with Derek Sobek and he said he would try and get the car back that same day. He took my cell number and we went on to another dealership where we had no luck. We were thinking of giving up for the day when Derek called saying the car was back. We took it for a drive and knew it was what we wanted. We put a deposit on the car to hold it until we could have an independent mechanic check it out (of course it checked out fine!). To avoid making this an even longer story, we got the car and the process was so smooth. There was never a lot of high pressure talk to convince us to buy anything extra, which was very refreshing. Derek was definitely on top of everything throughout the process and even checked in with us the day after we purchased the car. I would definitely recommend Bob Allen Ford to anyone looking to buy new or used.

I used to bring my vehicle there for routine maintenance, but I never knew how long it would take. I might get in immediately or I might wait two hours (or more). I drive 20 minutes to get there, so if I turn around and go home because of the wait time, I've wasted 40 minutes. I thought the policy might be different for recall notices, but it isn't. I believe this is a very poor customer service practice.

I actually purchased my car here, and had a decent enough experience. However, a recent service experienced has left me exceptionally frustrated. My car was recently subject of a manufacturer recall, and when trying to get the issue taken care of I thought first to return to Bob Allen. My first attempt to schedule my vehicle for service was a joke. I called the dealership, was greeted by a receptionist who directed my call to service. After being transferred, I spoke to someone for a few moments about the issue who then informed me he'd need to transfer me to someone who deals with recalls. So, after a few rings my call ended up back with the receptionist, asking how she could direct my call. After repeating myself, now for the 3rd time, I got ahold of the seemingly correct person. This individual informed me that they did not have the necessary parts on hand, and that they were expecting a shipment but the part would be in the next 7-10 days. The conversation ended with me leaving my number with the individual understanding that they would call be after those 7-10 days.

The call never came. Annoyed, I elected to instead call Shawnee Mission Ford and was greeted by there receptionist. After explaining my needs (now to a 4th Ford employee) my call was transferred to there service department. Par for the course, the phone rang until I was disconnected. I'm not an unreasonable person, I understand mistakes happen, I don't want to be held 100% to every promise I make in my job, so I decided to call Bob Allen back.

Bob Allen's service department actually answered their phone, and after explaining my needs again (7th time, counting the receptionist) I finally got the service scheduled for the following Friday. On the day of service, I dropped my vehicle off at 7am, got a lift home from my wife, and spent the day working from home. Around 3PM, while on a conference call for work, I noticed my phone ringing with a 'Private Number'. Because I was already busy and figured Bob Allen was just calling to inform me my vehicle was ready to pick up I just let it ring.

It wasn't until around 5:30 that I could bum a ride over to pick up my car. When I arrived I was told "oh yeah, I tried to call you, we didn't have the part". So my car sat onsite at BA from 7 AM to 5:30 PM without a single thing being done to it. I got one phone call from a private number (after 3pm) without a message to explain the mishap. The Ford employee literally said to me: "I don't know what to say about that one. Do you want me to run it through the wash?" No recommendation on next steps, nothing. Radioed whoever to bring my car up, and left me to it.

Let alone their failure to understand their own inventory and ensuring they have the materials on hand before a customer arrives, fast forward a week and my car has now died twice while driving down the road. Because of Bob Allen's Ineptitude I am now stuck driving a borderline unsafe vehicle with not a clue about what to do.

Car guy's car guy. Great used car department. Nick is the best sales manager I have dealt with, and I have dealt with many. I was impressed with them at every turn. Although, there were mistakes made, they made it right every time. Even more than that, they exceeded my expectations. After I purchased it, I found a torn seatbelt and needed a TSB applied. I recently did some research into buying a vehicle, and visited at least six dealers. My experience at Bob Allen Ford was one of the best. Elvers was extremely accommodating, upfront, and also polite and fun! I was not guilted into buying a vehicle like I was at some other dealers. They let me know they want to earn my business, but were not high pressure. They also had quite a large selection and fair pricing. Even though I decided not to purchase at this time, when I am ready I will definitely be back.

I don't enjoy the process of buying a new car but getting my Escape at Bob Allen Ford went better than I expected! Everyone was so helpful and seemed very focused on getting me the car I wanted. And I didn't feel the strong pressure I have experienced at other dealerships in the past! Plus, the Service Department has been great! I definitely appreciate how they communicate the problem, offer options, and keep me updated about the progress of the job. They obviously know my time is valuable, too! The shuttle back/forth to my office is so convenient and the driver is very accommodating. I'll be going back to Bob Allen Ford when I'm ready for my next car!

I will definitely be going back, for a few reasons: 1. Excellent customer service - I was greeted promptly, helped efficiently, and my service advisor went above and beyond. 2. The facility is nice. If you're going to be stuck waiting for an oil change, at least you have lounge seats, Starbucks coffee, places to charge your phone, and a room for kids to use (I had my 10 month old with me, so it came in super handy). Also, there's a sweet, old puppers that roams around.

I brought in a car for a friend that needed a accurate diagnostic and repair of the problem after. Only this FORD dedicated dealership could do the superior job needed compared to other's I have had experience with. No nonsense, professional, skilled and courteous is what we experienced.

No 'bait and switch" or paying for "stupid" AKA "pretender's" who use your money to "learn" that which they should of known how to discover and fix in the first place...and more times then not...not fixing the problem which means...you take back and deal with another "try" and then "pay again" because something is "added" to cover the cost of their still being "stupid" using you as a cash cow experiment! After all...someone has to "pay"!

With Brad and his crew...you don't pay "price" but you pay for the "results" you expected and were promised. In the end it is not about "saving money" by giving your business to those who don't know what they are doing...but getting the results you pay for from those that do!

Are they perfect? No but they are honest with a business ethic that always puts the customer first including if a honest mistake is made which they fix even when its costs them. What more could yiu ask from a real deal Ford Dealership which by the way...should also be why you get your next Ford from here whether used or new because they will take care of the needs of your vehicle better then anyone!

Called Olathe Ford to make a appointment to get a few items worked on before our warranty ended. The lady was not very nice on the phone and they could not get us in before our warranty ended.
My husband called Bob Allen Ford, not only did they say they could get us in.... They were very nice over the phone! We dropped off our Explorer this morning. They had it finished right when I got off work and fixed a item they found wrong when inspecting our car. Shane helped us through the whole process and was very polite! Thank you Shane! We will continue coming to Bob Allen Ford even though Olathe Ford is by our house.

There isn't enough stars to rate the outstanding service, professionalism and response I received from Sales Representative Jerome Toliver. In early June 2018, I called him in need of a car to replace mine that had been wrecked in an accident. He told me not to worry and he would start working on it. We set up a meeting and within day or two he introduced me to a stealth looking Ford Escape Titanium. After the test drive I knew I had found my "USS Enterprise!" Jerome was spot on accurate in finding a car that fit my style and taste. In fact, every aspect of my buying experience, including my experience with Steve Davidson, Finance Director which was prompt, stress free, consumer friendly and went above and beyond my expectations. These two guys are "down to earth" good people. I am telling my family and friends and anyone interested that Bob Allen Ford is a very cool dealership and the best I'm come across in the KC area. My husband and I made an appointment to test drive a specific truck. We had been in contact with the dealership the day before our scheduled test drive. When we were on our way tot he dealership, they called 10 minutes before to touch base and make sure we were still on our way to test drive. My parents went to meet us at the dealership, this is about a 40 minute drive for my husband and I and a 50 minute drive for my parents. When we arrived at the dealership we were passed from person to person until we finally met the person we had been in contact with. We were then passed to a different sales rep who took some information down in case we didn't like this specific truck that they could look for us. When she said she was ready to grab us the keys for the test drive she ends up walking back with her manager and tells us we have a problem. She stated that someone came 10-5 minutes before we arrived and did a test drive on the same truck we made an appointment for and that this man wants to purchase the truck. Then they made us wait until the man decided to purchase the truck which took an additional 10-15 minutes. She seemed very confused like she didn't know that someone was test driving this vehicle but I am certain that they knew. My husband and I were very upset that we didn't get a heads up on our way to the dealership when they had called us. We understand this is a business but these are NOT the type of sales reps I want to do business with. We will not go back and were very frustrated.

after a couple of attempts to share feedback with Bob Allen's service department thru other means, I guess I'll post my issues here since they seem to be really good at sending me requests for feedback thru Google and other surveys, but no so good at responding to issues via the same methods.
My level of satisfaction is pretty low overall with my $5OK 2017 Ford Explorer Sport. I have taken it to BA two times for service on brakes with less than 9K miles. The first time, after waiting for 3 hours, I left without any service. The second time, they had the vehicle for about 9 hours, and delivered it back to me 30 min after the end of their service day.
I have already responded to a service survey to explain that I do not believe they solved the problem with the brakes. And beyond my level of dissatisfaction with the service overall, I'm even more unsatisfied with the fact that my $50K new vehicle has a brake problem that I don't think they can fix.
I will keep trying to get them to fix it, but there's a very slim chance I will ever purchase another Ford Explorer, much less from Bob Allen.

2020 edit: after having a costly repair done on 2 displays that went out on a relatively new car (2016), the odometer read exactly 50,000 - this could be an overestimate of my actual mileage. It seems to odd to be a coincidence. I tried to contact them afterwards, but haven t heard anything in a week or so. I d hope after spending over $1500 on that one repair that I could get some answers.
DON T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE.

I ve done business with Bob Allen before. The reason I keep coming back is the knowledgeable sales staff, the service department, and all other staff. Jerome Tolliver helped us with our latest purchase. The guy isn t pushy and listens to his customers needs. Bob Allen was the first place we stopped, and after seeing similar cars at other dealerships, the Bob Allen experience is was had us coming back.

After taking it to two other mechanics, and spending hundreds of dollars, we took my wife's 2014 Escape into Bob Allen Ford service department. It was not a quick fix. It took almost a week and a half to correctly diagnose and correct the problem. During the entire time we were in direct communication with 4 people in the service department (Shane, Curtis, Derrick and Jonathan) discussing potential issues, problems, fixes, etc. All four were polite, professional and patient (even when we were impatient). They didn't want to send it back to us without getting the the very bottom of the issue. The vehicle has run great for the last 4 days, and we would certainly recommend Bob Allen service department to anyone who has a "hard to solve" issue with their Ford.

I called to schedule an appointment to have my car serviced for a repair and was hung up twice. The first time when I was transferred to the service department, no one answered. When I called again, I was transferred and someone answered but the I was placed on hold. After being on hold for 10 minutes, I was hung up on again. Needless to say I will be getting my car repaired at another Ford dealership.

I visited Bob Allen Ford for a second opinion and Curtis quoted my repair cost at $900. I told him that was funny because Rob Sight Ford had quoted the repair at $700. He then became angry and tried to negotiate with me. Horrible, horrible service. I recommend NOT doing business with these deceitful people!

I placed an order with a $500 deposit for a new car and was told I would be able to make any changes to the order up until they start production. Within the month of ordering, I have tried to contact my sales rep several times about changes/adds I wanted to make. I called several times and emailed several times with a few call backs and no email replies. I was told that they have not started production on my vehicle and to call back to make the changes/adds. I never received an answer despite leaving a voicemail.

Finally I was fed up with the lack of service and communication, so I took my business over to Rob Sight Ford, where I also received a better deal and service. I went back into Bob Allen Ford the next day and was told that I never emailed or called and left voicemails despite showing them my phone records and outgoing emails. They also claimed that my vehicle has been in production although I was never notified.

Bob Allen Ford refused to refund my $500 deposit regardless of state law. They blamed me for not trying to contact other sales representatives. I'm glad I paid the deposit with my credit card because I was able to dispute the charges. If this does not work I will file a complaint with the BBB then possibly take this to small claims court. I made sure to look over everything that I signed and nothing states that my $500 deposit was non-refundable.

Who knows, maybe there were phone/computer difficulties and they truly did not receive my calls or emails. But, lying to my face about the "nonrefundable" $500 deposit and basically calling me a liar is not going to go well with me. Communication was the obvious problem here. Don't blame the customer, especially when they have documentation to prove their side of the story. If they actually responded to my requests in the first place, I would not have gone to another dealership.

He was always extremely friendly and he spoke directly to me and not to my mom, who was cosigning, unlike past salesmen. Even though I ended up didn't buy a car of Bob Allen, I still would like to provide my feedbacks. I had a great buying experience at this Ford dealer. The sale person came and greeted us as soon as we got out of our car.

Our sale rep, Derek, was very knowledgeable, friendly and he went above and beyond to make sure that I and my wife buying experience could be at the highest quality as possible.

We do like the way he went over every single details of what we wanted in a new car. He took his time to identify the right vehicle for us. He also did a stellar job showing us every single details of the car features. At the beginning, Ford was not a car of our choice, but he changed our minds.

Anyhow, as I said for our personal reasons, we didn't buy a Ford car, but if you are thinking of getting a Ford, you should look no place else. If in the future, I am going buy a Ford car, I know where I will be.

Edited same day: I was contacted within a short time of posting my original less than happy review. Our vehicle is now working properly and I'm very, very impressed and appreciative of the customer service response I received. They made it right for us and in doing so, we will continue to return to Bob Allen for our vehicle needs. Our family members who knew what was going on, have also been informed, and they are also very impressed with the speed + resolution we received. Thank you very much.

I just wanted to say the service department is amazing I got a few dents in my truck and someone backed into me. Took it over to them they got me right in and out. With that being said way to go service team.

Now the bad my husband and I want to trade inour truck was told it was only worth 500. The tires are worth more than that so we went to Kelly Blue book and check on a cash offer was offer 2500 for so I sent a message back to the dealership about hey our tires are worth more than that and that if they would do that and take it off as our down payment then they had a deal the said thing is is now we are still in the high 500 a month payment. This would have been our third vehicle in 4 years. I m sad to say that I think we have been hurt by this and will be going elsewhere for our next vehicle.
