I recently contacted the dealership with very specific requirements for my desired automobile, a 2018 Ford Mustang GT convertible. Daryl Woody Woodward, with whom I had worked before, quickly found a vehicle that exceeded my expections. He had that vehicle transferred to the Overland Park dealership the same day that he located it. I was able to test drive and purchase the vehicle that day, have it prepped and customized the next day for a road trip out of town. I have never worked with a dealership that is as customer-centered, efficient and friendly as Bob Allen Ford. They have earned my loyalty.

The service department doesn't take appointments. I took my car in at 9am for a recall notice that they said would take half a day. I called them at ~4:40pm to ask about my car, as I hadn't heard anything all day. They told me it was just going into the shop. This seems really off if the repair is going to take several hours and they need "half a day". Besides that, I show up the next morning because I was told my car would be done before closing and I didn't have time to go pick it up. It took them 40 minutes to find my car on their lot. I showed up around 9:05am and was bounced between my "service specialist", the receptionist, and the people in the service department. I left with my keys in hand, after 3 (at least) pages for my car, at 9:45am. I hope my car doesn't have any more recalls because this was awful.

Edit: Discovered that after they did the repair, they just left the fusebox in my trunk exposed. This won't cause any damage, but it is ugly and my car was not returned to me in the condition it was given to them. I wish I could give no stars.

Our experience at Bob Allen Ford was amazing! Our sales person, Hank Glaeser, was so great & helped us get the car we wanted! He made the experience of buying a car a walk in the park! We will definetly be going back to see Hank when we need a new car!
Thank You so much Hank & Bob Allen Ford!

Had a signed document with salesman for purchase of 2020 truck after a lengthy but pleasant negotiation. Document was signed by me and the salesman. Sales manager then came out and tried to renege on the deal and "renegotiate" trade value and one other term. I stood up and walked out. Sales manager literally chased me to my vehicle still trying to "renegotiate" and eventually said he would honor original deal. Bob Allen Ford will never get one penny of my hard earned dollars. They just lost a potential customer and sale because of a few hundred dollars by playing games. Jerome the salesman is a very nice young man. The sales manager behaved like a fool, who for a few hundred dollars lost a sale and a handsome profit. Sticker on the truck before discounts was $45K. Sale and customer were lost over $250 in trade value and the cost to install a bed liner.

Alex Kranzburg was awesome! I absolutely love my new Ford Escape. The experience at the dealership during the purchase process was easy/breezy. In addition, I took it back for an oil change and will never take it anywhere else. They were quick and thorough and it was very reasonable too. They change the oil, top off fluids and rotate tires for around $40. That's a killer deal!

Couldn't be happier with my experience dealing with Bob Allen Ford. Take my car in for oil change. Because I have a contract with them my oil is changed, filters replaced and new windshield wipers put on. The gentleman I dealt with tells me what he has done and hands me my keys! No other money changes hands and I am happily on my way:)

I needed a new battery for my key fob. I didn t have an appointment, I just stopped by (with my dog and 1 yr old daughter with me). I was directed to the parts department, the waiting room was full so I was a bit worried this was going to be an all day ordeal. I went to the counter and told the sale associate what I needed, he said no problem. Took the key to the back room, popped in a new battery and I was out of there in literally under 5min!! That s what I m talking about!!! Amazing customer service!!! You ve earned a customer for life!!

I got my oil changed there and then was sent a coupon in the mail for 10% off services. Since I had to get my air filters replaced, I made an appointment and they had it done in quicker than they originally estimated and I was able to save money with the coupon. Staff was nice and would recommend their Quick Lane service.

Since purchasing our first vehicle from Bob Allen we've been having all four (4) of our Ford & Lincoln vehicles serviced at Bob Allen. 90% of the time we've been completely satisfied with the service. We really like working with Curtis Sanders as our service advisor!'

Don't bother coming here for service. I made an appointment a month ago for warranty work and a recall issue, when I got here the appointment was not honored. I do not recommend buying a Ford, much less here.

I always a find good, fast, friendly service department team. With today s vehicles, for resale or value, keeping good records and history matters. Bob Allen knows your vehicle when you consistently count on them for service. I also came across the Ottawa KS Bob Allen Ford team too by chance the next day and they get 5+ Stars too.

If your Mexican DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT! come get your vehicle serviced here. Don't even stop to shop around here. These people will discriminate you and place you behind everyone else. I came in July 2014 for a simple oil change. It was early they looked to have a slow day. It took 3 hours to get out of there as other serviced customers came in and out. I felt as if though I was being skipped and kept getting placed at the end of the line. If I knew FORD service would be so shitty I would have never purchased one.

This is from Stan Epstein. Upon reflection I am not sure that my car was fixed. I explained that I drove to St. Joseph from KC and when I started my car in St. Joseph a wrench and a check engine light appeared. The owners manual wasn't clear as to whether this called for immediate attention and the lights went away in a subsequent start. I called a St Joseph Ford dealer who stated it probably was not in need of immediate attention. I took it to my regular mechanic who provided me with a list of diagnostic trouble codes and suggested I take it to a Ford Dealer. I had taken cars to Bob Allen before and they were ok. I explained the situation and provided a printout of the codes. I was asked how the car was running, I mentioned anything I thought might be a problem but basically it ran ok. The service advisor said the 12 volt battery might be about to go out and this caused the trouble codes. He suggested a new battery. I thought that was an easy fix and said yes. I asked to check the expiration date on the old battery but as far as I know this was not done. I also was not informed if the old battery was checked to see if anything was wrong with it. I am fine with a new battery but I still wonder if the car is fixed. The advisor did not copy the trouble codes so I am not sure that the dealer will have a complete history of the car if this or another problem appears. They may have done all that could be done but I'm left unsure.

Received a email from Bob Allen about free belts and hoses check. Took my f150 to them for a oil change thinking they would check for leaks. The Rep who was helping me said well kinda hard to find with everything wet out side. Okay, back to Dick Smith in Raytown.

Vehicle transparency - Asked about aromas, Chris Galvan said none. Got there vehicle smelt like nothing. Floor mats were stored in trunk. After signing papers and I brought floor mats upfront, I saw burn holes in carpet from cigarettes. After vehicle sits now, it gets a musty smoke odor.... incredibly frustrating. Imagine they aired it out before I got.

The Deal - Compromised on a price to get me to drive 100 miles to come and look at the car.

When the numbers were first laid out the price was significantly higher than we originally spoke. They try to confuse you. Learn about the "car salesman 4-square" take notes during the deal, google and take photos of their notes. I was able to talk them down to $13,200 from asking price of $14,500. It took a little work and I started at $13,000, they attempted to mix my numbers to initiate confusion.

I wanted to go lower but Chris kept saying how the vehicle came with an extra key and that's worth it in itself.

*There is a document in the signing where they promise other items/accessories for your car. This is where I should have made them write down two working keys . The salesman said the document meant he didn t promise me 1000 gallons of gas or 10 sets of tires. Which made me think that was crazy so I agreed... assuming a $250 dollar smart key was a standard part of the deal.

After signing all documents they told me the second key, they promised - wasn t even at the dealership. About two weeks later after texting Chris multiple times I received a key in the mail. The key wasn't the same as mine and it wasn t even keyed or programmed for my vehicle (not great hence push start). Chris and dealer have ignored my request for a month now to fix this dilemma. A replacement key will be $240 dollars from my local Honda dealer.

Would I buy again? . Possibly, I would not let Chris pressure me and I would have went at my own pace. I would have looked at each individual panel of the vehicle one-by-one for dents or the rust I found on the under edge of the car after the fact.

Would I use Chris Gavin again? Probably not, he was nice and respectful as any sales person has to be. Chris pushed the issue about two keys so much that now I am down right mad I was scammed out of it. Chris knows he and BOB ALLEN did me wrong on the key and he ALSO knows it was not in the contract so he isn't worried about it.

Everyone I had the pleasure to work with was exceptionally nice and certainly a friendly professional. They answered all my questions and I was able to drive away with my dream car. I would certainly recommend buying a vehicle from Bob Allen and using the service center for all maintenance needs.

Worst freaking service department ever!!! We were told they wouldn't be able to check and see what was wrong with the car because it was the end of the day, fine. There were a "couple" of cars in front of us. Fine. Should have a loner car in next day, there are a few going out and a few going in. Fine. Well, at the day THREE and after many phone calls and them saying there are a "couple" cars in front of us and there are two loner cars coming back in. Every, single time they said this. How the hell after three days you are telling us the same exact thing! The car should have been looked at on DAY ONE if there were only a "couple" cars in front. It's still sitting in the lot and hasn't been touched. These "couple" of cars have turned into a lot more. And the loners seem to have not shown up and are still on the way in. After THREE DAYS! Plus the attitude that we got right off the bat was completely uncalled for. He was giving us attitude like we were morons! The guy has short, blondish hair, glasses and was sitting on the right side of the left side of desks in the service depsrtment. His name is coming soon. This was Friday, August 18 around 8:10am. Horrible, horrible service!!!

I was looking for more information on the new Shelby about 6 months ago. I had stopped by this dealer 3 times trying to get the information but they acted as if they didn't have any. Finally on the 3rd trip someone told me I could get on a list, they took my information then told me it would cost 15 - 20 grand over list price. Disappointing as I wished they would have been upfront with me in the first place.

Pretty disappointed with the communication and follow through with this dealership. We bought a car there and they wanted us to take it back for a 3rd time to fix a bumper alignment issue that they had promised to fix on the "we owe" type form when we bought the car.

I inspected the work they claimed to perform, and the bumper they said they just put back on, wasn't even attached in 3 places. I don't think they actually did anything they promised about the bumper.

Also, our car sat in service for almost 2 weeks and they missed two promised deadlines to have our car ready.

Just done working with this dealership....

Horrible integrity. I went in to get my car serviced and they told me I needed a new battery, windshield wipers, transmission fluid.
I denied all those. Took my car down to orileys right after for a free battery check and it was perfect! As for the wipers, they told me last time I went in I needed them replaced, so I consented. Now I need them replaced again???? Did they even replace them the first time when I asked them too AND PAID FOR IT!? No. They. Did. Not. When I called them out on it they got flustered and said there was nothing on their records about wiper swap. So I tracked down my receipt and sure enough there it was. Charged for wipers that didn t even get installed. They operate to get your money at all cost. I wish there was an option for no stars bc that s what they deserve.

Best experience we ve ever had purchasing a new vehicle! We will definitely be back. A special shout out to our Salesperson, Mike Madrid, and Jeff Kelso for making it so memorable. We d, especially, like Brad Hulett to know he has the best dealership in the city with an awesome staff!

I would like to give a 5 star shout out to Jonathan, Josh and Ricky in the Service Department who went above and beyond to figure out an issue with a persistent problem I had on a vehicle just purchased from Bob Allen. These 3 gentlemen never gave up, were always professional and treated me extremely well even when I would call back a day later saying, It s still doing it! . Jonathan kept telling me, don t worry we will get this figured out and sure enough they did. In this day and age when it comes to service, it s hard to find anyone that really cares if you are satisfied or not with the end result. I can attest that due to how I was treated by these three gentlemen and how I continue to be treated when I take my vehicles in there to be serviced, that the Bob Allen Ford Service Department has earned my business for many years to come!

All they want to do is build a work order. All I wanted to do was retrieve my master code from my keys and they wanted to pull it in and charge me, so I left.... called Rob Sight and Jeff did a great job coaching me through it on the phone... 5 minutes, No Charge. I guess that's why they say, "You can Shear a sheep many times but you can only skin him once". Skip Bob Allen and go to Rob Sight for service.

Took my 2012 Ford Fusion in on Tuesday and I had it back all fixed up on Wednesday. They are quick and have great customer service. If you go in there ask for Shane. He was super friendly and very helpful. I used the online chat on their website before going in and the man that helped me was very friendly and was able to help me figure out what I need to get done.

Ren Patterson took a $500 deposit on a car to hold it for my wife and I since we were coming from out of state. The car was NEVER removed from their website and then I was told it was sold right from under us. There are lots of Ford dealers - go somewhere else! BUYER BEWARE!!!

I would definitely recommend Bob Sight Ford - I had a great experience at at this dealership! Dale was extremely knowledgeable and helped me through the process, giving me fantastic advice all along the way. He and every other representative that I encountered there were so kind. They all genuinely seem like they love their jobs and they love working with people. Dale helped me to get a great deal on my car, and the whole team gave me a top-notch car buying experience!

I got new tires here and they did fine with that but wanted suggested I get things checked out due to how the tires were worn. I made an apt for 7:30 am and when I called at 5pm they had not gotten to my car yet. When I came in, they said they were wrong, and it was looked at. I was quoted a repair that was $800+. When I took it to a different place, they said that a bolt had been loosened but nothing was wrong otherwise. I would like to think it was just a mistake but one of my friends had an unfortunate experience too.

This is by far my favorite Ford establishment. Everyone here is so helpful and genuinely nice. I called this morning, talked to Mark about my issue, and he told me to come on in. They were very busy, but Mark didn't complain. He got my car right back to the service station, read the code, and had me right out the door. Any time I come here, I am amazed at the customer service. Everyone here has gone above and beyond both of my visits. I honestly could not thank all of you enough for your kindness and willingness to go out of your way to help. If I ever buy a Ford again (HATE my Focus) it wouldn't be from any other dealer than this one.

My first experience at the Bob Allen dealership was with the service department. I needed some work done on my 12 yr old truck. The service was first rate, so I decided to return when I was shopping for a new vehicle. I was in the market for a Focus, and my sales rep, Jerome was terrific. He was able to find me the vehicle with all of the options that I was looking for. Everyone was very helpful. I will definitely recommend Bob Allen to anyone who might be either looking for a new car or might have a car that is needing repair or service.

I've bought many new cars in my lifetime (I'm 62) and Bob Allen Ford is the best. I always dread buying a new car because the process can be so tiring and stressful. I did not have that experience at Bob Allen. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the process was seamless. I highly recommend!

Three hours for an oil change and rotation of tires. The assistant that helped me only checked on me a few times and kept thanking me for being patient and telling it shouldn t be much longer. After the third hour mark I went and asked another assistant if I could just get my car and leave because this was ridiculous at this point and he said he would find my car and I would be out of here as soon as possible. He then found my car and told me it had already been done for 15 minutes and that the prior assistant had gone on lunch break and not bothered to give me the keys before he went on his break. Do not waste your time or your money at this place get your car serviced somewhere else.

I should start out by saying my first experience w...

I should start out by saying my first experience with this dealership was five months ago when I needed new tires. Great experience- easy to work with, my service consultant, Chase, was fantastic to work with. price was fair, as was the time it took to perform the service.

On November 21st, 2017, I came in for an oil change and complimentary tire rotation. Chase was, again, very professional and easy to work with. As I left the dealership I heard a pronounced clicking when I would turn or hit a bump. Turns out my sway bar bushings rotted off, a common occurrence with the Focus ST at my mileage. But I grew concerned. I thought it must be something minor, so I checked the tire pressure. It was 4lbs over the manufacturer's specifications, and in each tire (according to both the door jam and the sidewall). So I decided to check the wheel lugs to see if they were loose or too tight, as that can often cause a clicking like I heard. Turns out, they were so tight THEY COULD NOT BE REMOVED BY HAND. I am a 240 pound fellow, and applying MY FULL WEIGHT WITH A BREAKER BAR, THEY COULD NOT BE REMOVED.

I grew increasingly concerned. So I also checked my oil. It was black after 70 miles. THEY DIDN'T EVEN PERFORM THE OIL CHANGE.

Several lugs were stripped as well. I contacted Bob Allen Ford twice over the next 5 days, leaving messages for both Chase Meier and their service manager, with no reply, at which point I showed up to express my concern to them. I spoke with Curtis Sanders, who assured me that tires need to be over-inflated in the winter because air pressure, but let's ignore that it was 65 degrees at the time, and that my tires are nitrogen filled, and that I had given no personal information at this point. He dismissed my concerns without any knowledge of myself, my car, or the situation, and seemed confused when I told him I'm just concerned because I had bad experiences at other dealerships. He asked me if I wanted to pay for a diagnosis after I told him my sway bar bushing had failed, after I showed him a photo (attached), and after we took a ride together. He also complimented my aftermarket exhaust by telling me how nice the stock exhaust is. Somehow, a Ford service consultant has never heard a Focus ST or RS- and 80 decibels stock is definitely distinguishable from 110 decibels aftermarket.

Attached is a photo of my oil only a few days after the service was "performed" as well as the broken sway bar link. I have since disputed with my credit card company and received a refund. I will never patron this dealership again.

I sold cars for two and a half years, and NEVER did I see such blatant disregard for the customer's safety and concerns. Over-inflation of tires coupled with the RFT (you know what that means if you've taken even a high school auto shop class, which, amazingly, their ASE certified mechanics seem to have skipped) of the lugs could have resulted in disaster. I was so disappointed given how awesome my first interaction with this dealership was.
