My Ford vehicle had a recall notice (I bought it at Bob Allen). When I called to schedule the repair, I was told it was first come/first serve only. I used to bring my vehicle there for routine maintenance, but I never knew how long it would take. I might get in immediately or I might wait two hours (or more). I drive 20 minutes to get there, so if I turn around and go home because of the wait time, I've wasted 40 minutes. I thought the policy might be different for recall notices, but it isn't. I believe this is a very poor customer service practice.
