My husband and I made an appointment to test drive...

My husband and I made an appointment to test drive a specific truck. We had been in contact with the dealership the day before our scheduled test drive. When we were on our way tot he dealership, they called 10 minutes before to touch base and make sure we were still on our way to test drive. My parents went to meet us at the dealership, this is about a 40 minute drive for my husband and I and a 50 minute drive for my parents. When we arrived at the dealership we were passed from person to person until we finally met the person we had been in contact with. We were then passed to a different sales rep who took some information down in case we didn't like this specific truck that they could look for us. When she said she was ready to grab us the keys for the test drive she ends up walking back with her manager and tells us we have a problem. She stated that someone came 10-5 minutes before we arrived and did a test drive on the same truck we made an appointment for and that this man wants to purchase the truck. Then they made us wait until the man decided to purchase the truck which took an additional 10-15 minutes. She seemed very confused like she didn't know that someone was test driving this vehicle but I am certain that they knew. My husband and I were very upset that we didn't get a heads up on our way to the dealership when they had called us. We understand this is a business but these are NOT the type of sales reps I want to do business with. We will not go back and were very frustrated.
