I traded for a King Ranch 250, and the entire experience was very good. The trade, the value and the commitments were all I could have expected. This is the second vehicle I've traded for at Rob Sight. I have three vehicles I have serviced there. The service department is their best sales force.
Been to every major Ford and Lincoln dealer in KC, this is hands down the best. They treat you fair, their prices are low, they explain what's wrong with your car and give you options. Straight shooters all around. I'd come here first for anything from an oil change to a frame rebuild.
Edit: Upped the rating to 4 stars (from 3). They contacted my dad and tried to make it right.
My dad just bought a truck from Rob Sight, and his experience was pretty good, except for one small-ish detail that left a bad taste in my mouth. A few days after he bought it, I noticed corrosion on the battery. No big deal, happens all the time. I told him to bring it up when he went back to take care of some small details, get a latch fixed, and finalize paperwork. After getting home from that visit, I asked him if they took care of the corrosion. He looks at the inspection checklist they completed that day, which lists inspected battery terminals, but the corrosion was still there. They also mentioned they topped off his wiper fluid, and that was still half full.
So the service department lied on the form, and didn't do two of the easiest jobs on the checklist. It really makes me question the quality of their inspections, or if they even did complete any inspection at all. The truck seems to be in good shape with no problems, but a dealership service department should be able to inspect a battery terminal.
Fabulous communication, knowledgeable and professional, great facility and great people. Made a difficult situation much easier to deal with. Highly recommend!
Purchased vehicle online. They had everything ready to go when I arrived and I was in and out in no time which was nice considering I had a 3+ hour drive home yet. No surprises when I arrived and Alex and the rest of the staff was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend looking at them when buying a different vehicle.
It is rare that I can't think of anything I'd ask a business to improve upon, but that is how I feel about Rob Sight. Keith in sales always takes great care of us and the entire service department goes above and beyond to do the same. Just a phenomenal, no hassle buying process and excellent service after the sale!
Steve helped me out big time! Found the right truck for me and extremely polite! Every one was very helpful and made my experience at Rob Sight Ford a 10/10. Thanks
Great Service. This visit there was a significant mechanical problem that require attention at the time of service. Craig explained thoroughly everything that was required, so I could make an informed decision. Craig has always been honest with me, I feel comfortable with him as my advisor.
I m a first time buyer and Rob Sight did everything they could to help me get into my first vehicle that I bought myself, from trying all financing options to finally recommending a credit union that is located in my home town, I ended up walking away with a 2011 Ford F-150 with the 5.0L Coyote and I couldn t be happier thank you Sandra and Jeff for all the help in getting me into this truck today!
Been looking for two months for a decent, low mile truck to tow a camper with. Primary problem with most of the dealerships was trying to convince me that Kelly Blue Book cash buyout price was what the trade in value is, which is definitely not the case for anyone who does any kind of research buying a car. Found a Toyota Tundra on Rob Sight's website, requested information on it, and Marc Sullivan answered the questions I had. I explained how much time I had wasted regarding my truck search, and that I knew my car was worth more than what most were offering. Marc had me come in, they looked at my car, and we put a deal together in under three hours. Through it all, Marc was laid back, professional, nice and helpful. None of the "bring the sales manager in to beat up the customer" sales tactics. Marc listened to my concerns and didn't try to quash my line of thinking regarding my car. Marc has been with Rob Sight for over 25 years, which is saying a lot in the car business.
I will definitely head to Rob Sight first for my next vehicle. Thank you to everyone at Rob Sight.
We had quick service from very knowledgeable staff. They were very friendly and accommodating. They made sure that every detail was taken care of to get my car looking good again and me back out on the road. Many thanks!
Used their service department today and was very pleased with the quality, price and customer service. The recommended services weren't pushed on me and for the level of service, I was pleasantly surprised that they were very competitive in pricing. I will definitely be coming back.
About six months ago, I purchased a 2012 Ford Taurus from these guys. About a week of driving it, the true condition of the front rotors revealed themselves to me (warped, of course). Once I replaced those, I continued for about a month or two to find out the remote start cause the alarm in the car to act out. It would start by itself, it would go off by itself, the lights would flash by themselves; all this without me even touching the fob. At this point, I reached out and tried to seek help from Rob Sight Ford preowned, to which I was met with It s an aftermarket remote start, there s nothing we can do. So now, I have to go figure out how to rip it out without messing up my ignition wiring or alarm wiring. Thanks. It s nice to know how what to expect after I give someone my money. Besides that, the car has been solid mechanical wise. No complaints so far .. even though I have my suspicions.
Rob Sight Ford has the best Body Shop in the Midwest! Vince Cunningham went the extra mile when our Explorer needed body work. Best dealer, Best Body Shop!!
Just bought a new truck there. They worked hard to find the vehicle I wanted and had to bring it in from a couple hundred miles away. I was impressed. Treated me well on trade in. Four stars because the actual appointment time set to buy vehicle was not satisfactory. Salesman no where to be found. Someone else stepped in. Took over an hour to sign papers. Should have been an exciting time. Instead it was frustratingly slow. Ultimately, I did get the truck I wanted, so all is well.
I typically go to Rob Sight for regular scheduled service on my MKZ. Their prices are a probably average, maybe a little on the high side, but they usually complete the work quickly, within an hour, and the work is well done. They do not have very many amenities in their waiting area, only coffee and a television, and I would like to see more. They also do not wash the cars after servicing, some dealers in the KC Metro area do and it would be nice if they did as well.
After shopping around for a month I finally found the perfect car - a 2013 Escape SEL - and couldn't be happier! I looked at 3 other dealers and Rob Sight had the best price. Jeff Schleicher was a great salesperson - very knowledgeable and nice. I've been dreading the buying process but he made it enjoyable. I would most definitely buy another car from them.
I recently made my second purchase of a new F-150. On both occasions, I was assisted by Ms. Alex Condon. She has a very pleasing approach to selling vehicles. Alex believes in her products and is very knowledgeable of the product characteristics of the vehicles she sells. She made my buying experience very easy, fast and fair. Rob Sight is a great dealership and Alex is an important part of the overall team effort.
Just dropped in for an oil change. Service was quick, professional, and nice vehicle wash afterward. Will definitely return for service and when I am in market for new vehicle.
Alex was great, very patient, helpful and polite. Went above and beyond to get all my questions and concerns addressed. Purchase process went smoothly. I felt well informed by finance manager, (Noah), NO PRESSURE, NO GAMES like car buying has been known for. Very atypical buying experience. Purchased a non high-end vehicle that I felt was carefully selected for their stock and we'll detailed throughout, including the engine compartment. More to say but will stop here. I'll be back for my next vehicle. Highly recommend.
Went to test drive a new Mustang and the sales woman who assisted us made it VERY easy. We have not decided on our choice of car yet but the mustang is on the list and it may sound like a bad job done by her but.... she was not very pushy and maybe she just didn't know the car very well but I didn't have many questions because I knew exactly what it had and what I was looking for. We left afterwards with no crazy sales tactic to get us to buy it immediately and that was the biggest relief for someone like me. I know my cars and what I'm looking for, it primarily comes down to getting to feel how they ride and drive in comparison to another.
Rob Sight has the lowest prices and best service around. These guys know what they're doing. Michael Cox in pre-owned and Craig Touchstone on the Service team are both wonderful and provide fantastic customer service. This is the second vehicle purchase for me at this dealership, and we've had 2 other family members also buy from here. I'll continue to do business with them, best prices and service around.
I had some issues with my experience when I leased my Escape 3 years ago. This time around I can see that things have improved tenfold!
The salesman were knowledgeable and able to answer questions I had. They worked with me to find what I wanted and make it available when I need it, and I really feel welcome and appreciated.
The Escape itself is wonderful. I've driven Honda, Lexus, and now Ford, and I have to say the Escape beats all of em.
Whatever you do don't let them get your number. I made an inquiry 2 months ago through USAA, but live too far away to drive up. I let them know that, let them know I've bought a car, and asked not to be called. They have called me ever day since early May.
I have put off buying another car for a while because I was dreading the whole process. I was amazed at how easy it was to purchase my car. The saleman (Michael Taylor) was wonderful and very knowledgable of the vehicle I was purchasing. He really put me at ease during the whole process. The financing portion was painless as well. Tony Wright explained everything clearly and worked hard to get the best interest rate possible. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable at all. I feel that I got a very good price on my trade-in as well. I am totally happy with my experience at Rob Site Ford and would recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a vehicle. Today, I'm going to go out and enjoy my new ride!
Ford's prices are ridiculously high for pick up trucks....wont be buying a Ford. Don't care how dependable they are, the prices are so inflated compared to a few years back.
From the minute I contacted Rob Sight Ford, I received a high level of attention and very low pressure. The staff was very knowledgeable and understood their role in the decision process was to be responsive to questions and concerns. Everyone was great! No hassle pricing resulted in a very fast buying process. No back and forth with managers. No high pressure tactics for buying accessories. Fast and smooth financing. Totally satisfied with this unique buying experience. We will be back.
Once again, fantastic service and a great price. There's usually a wait but honestly the waiting area is so nice it's hard to complain. Comfy chairs and coffee help pass the time and if you get really bored you can walk the lot or even head across the way to do some shopping in the nearby shopping center. I could choose places closer to home but I know I can trust this dealership to treat me fairly and make sure my car is in good condition.
My daughter has had her 2012 fiesta that she bought from this dealership in for two oil changes and both times they have failed to reset the oil light. I would not recommend routine service from this dealership.
Worth the wait. I have been in lucky enough to use rob sight twice in the last year. They have repaired both my wife s fusion and my f150 perfectly. They don t rush anything and do what s right.
The best, easiest, and friendliest car buying experience I have ever had. No pressure, no "let me talk to my manager..." negotiations, just fair sticker prices & friendly people. Christian was fantastic to work with -- friendly, helpful, and not at all pushy. He genuinely seemed to want to make sure we found the right car for our family, and helped us do just that! I have already recommended him to others!
Rob Sight Ford has the best service in the Kansas City area by far...I have been to multiple Ford dealerships in the area over the years and no one comes even close to the professionalism exhibited by staff at Rob Sight...This stretches from their Sales to Service...will.continue to be a quite satisfied and loyal customer...do yourself a favor and bring your business to them, you will be happy!
Easy purchasing process. Tim Smith was excellent to work with. Second car purchase within 4 months, third purchase within 5 years. Absolutely no hassle. We had been to the dealership test-driving vehicles twice recently but didn't expect to need a car at the last moment. Because of a breakdown I needed a car immediately to get to work and a doctor appointment. Tim provided me with a complimentary rental vehicle for three days while we got financing in place with our choice of financier. Tim set up my phone with the Sync system and answered all questions I had before I left with my new car! Great experience!!
We purchased a 2016 Dodge Ram today, we drove 3 hours to get the truck. These guys were great to work with, fixed some small imperfections on the truck. They handled all my questions and requests like professionals. Happy customer back here in Clever Mo.
I looked at a F150 here and the salesman told me it had "a little bit" of hail damage, and we got there and it turns out that it has horrible hail damage and he tried to convince me that most people would just drive it and not worry about it because it doesn't make a difference on how it drives...... . Anyway otherwise it seemed the place wasn't to bad.
***UPDATE*** I'm changing my rating from 2 stars to 5 based on the fact that I was contacted by the dealership and they are going to do everything they can to make it right and get my car fixed up! Once again fantastic customer service!
I gave the dealership 2 stars because the staff is awesome and very attentive to customers! On the other hand I went in looking for good used car I wouldn't have to tinker with and that's not what I got. I bought a 2014 hyundai veloster. At first glance the car was perfect! About 2 months into owning the car, I went to a car wash (had been there 4-5 times before) and a bumper cover clip broke. No big deal right? I thought so too, until I looked under the car and realized there was not only clips missing but tabs and screws that connect the bumper cover to the headlights as well. I know this wasn't fault of the car wash because there was empty slots where screws go in perfect shape and the screws weren't even there. The fog light on the right side was also popped out and does not fit the bumper cover correctly. Clearly this was a patch up job.The bumper cover now has to be replaced for approximately $950. The 2nd issue I ran into was the temperature control knob going out about 3 months after purchase. It's $200 for just that part without installation, which I will be doing myself to help save money to get the bumper fixed. These pictures show side of the bumper cover thats popped off, the sag of the bumper cover, missing screw slots and the fog light that doesn't sit correctly in place and the damage caused to the plastic in my wheel well do to the sagging. All in all, I'd say look at every tiny detail before buying used from ANY dealership even the reputable ones!
The service staff here were great to deal with and they addressed my issue with speed. I would say that this is one of the best service departments I've ever visited. 10/10
What an awesome dealership!! I bought my very first car without my parents from Rob Sight on August 21, 2012. I was looking for something about two years old with low miles. I was very interested in a Mercury Milan or a Ford Fusion. Because this was my first car and I was making the car payments on it, I was very picky as far as the options/colors that I wanted. I found the absolute perfect Mercury Milan that EVERYTHING on it that I wanted. Sandra Jacobs stayed late on a Friday afternoon so I could test drive the car with my dad. After test driving it, I knew that it was the car that I wanted. There was a golf ball sized dent in the front passenger door and Sandra had it fixed the next day by her "dent guy." Now, you can't even tell that there was a dent there. Very impressed! I worked with Tony Wright in the financing department and he was very easy to work with and explained everything in detail because I had quite a few questions with being a first time car buyer. Overall, I was completely impressed with Rob Sight Ford and I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for the awesome service!
These guys could have nailed me for thousands. Took my 99 Exploder in for a bad engine miss and blinking engine light. I expected really bad news and a five hour wait. Instead I was there thirty minutes and the guy comes in and says my car is fixed. It was a fuel injector that had slipped out of position. Total cost, $105.00. If you have any doubts about this review I'll be there at 10 tomorrow for a transmission service and oil change you can always show up and see for yourself. I imagine it'll cost more than a hundred bucks but the point is I'm willing to give them a try again.
This was a good place to buy a used truck. No haggle pricing with no commission sales people were better to deal with then the typical dealer. They disclosed everything about the truck and I feel like we were treated fairly.
Dealer's Price: $15,370 Mileage: 117,232 VIN: 1C6RD7GPXCS184693 Stock #: 9743822A This truck needs new brake pads (5mm&7mm) and still has original battery from factory (5 years old), it will die very soon. 4X4 is slow to engage, but it "passed" inspection. They wouldn't even come down $100 from asking price. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE LIKE I DID FOR 1 HR 45 MINS. Bought a truck from Vantage Motors instead.
I searched for over a month and landed on a vehicle at Rob Sight Ford. I started my interactions online and spent under 2 hours (start to finish) at the dealership. Best purchasing experience to date.
We had an excellent experience getting my son s Ford Escape repaired. Randy was extremely helpful and continually gave us updates as to their progress. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future.
My mom took her truck in to Midas off 103 state line the other day. They looked over the truck and gave her a $1900 estimate for new replacement lifters and head work. And even recommended her to get a whole new engine for over $5k. Offered to call a junk yard for me for scrap. I called around and someone recommended me to Rob sight ford. My quest for a second opinion was because I wanted to see if it was cheaper there. I gave keys over to craig touchstone. He was very polite and professional even though he informed me he broke his finger 2 hours ago on the door at work and is still at work. He said they will take great care of you and I told them what Midas said and told them I want to get estimate of fixing it. A few days later I got a call expecting the worst. To my surprise they said my lifters were fine no issues computer check up fine. They said no repairs need. So Midas on 103 and state line how dare you take advantage of a elderly woman. The guys at rob sight repair center are a truly honest repair center.
My husband and I bought a used 2009 smart Fortwo from Rob Sight. Marc Sullivan did a great job in making the sales process hassle free and took his time to answer all of our questions. Frank Marcurella was a huge help in helping us finance the car and making sure we understood everything. It was a pleasant experience buying a car here and we will make sure to come back for our next car!
